Born From Above

“예수께서 이르시되 너희는 아래에서 났고 나는 위에서 났으며 너희는 이 세상에 속하였고 나는 이 세상에 속하지 아니하였느니라”(요 8:23)

오늘의 본문 구절에서 주 예수님이 유대인들에게 “나는 위에서 났다”고 말씀하셨을 때, 그분은 자신의 신성한 근원에 대해 말씀하신 것입니다. 그분은 하늘에서 나신 주님이십니다. “첫 사람은 땅에서 났으니 흙에 속한 자이거니와 둘째 사람은 하늘에서 나셨느니라”(고전 15:47).

주 예수님이 이렇게 구별하신 이유는 이 땅에 있는 모든 사람은 그들의 생명을 이 땅의 부모로부터 받지만 그분의 생명은 하나님으로부터 났기 때문입니다. 그분은 말씀이 육신이 되신 분입니다. 이 땅에 태어난 모든 사람은 자연적인 인간의 생명을 가지고 있습니다. 그러나 그 생명은 썩어질 생명이며 언젠가는 반드시 죽을 수밖에 없습니다.

이것은 인간의 운명이 되었습니다. 아담이 에덴 동산에서 하나님께 범죄하고 사탄에게 그의 권세를 넘겼기 때문입니다. 그 결과, 죽음이 세상에 들어왔습니다. “그러므로 한 사람으로 말미암아 죄가 세상에 들어오고 죄로 말미암아 사망이 들어왔나니 이와 같이 모든 사람이 죄를 지었으므로 사망이 모든 사람에게 이르렀느니라”(롬 5:12).

아담의 불순종으로 죄가 세상에 들어왔고, 사망이 뒤따랐습니다. 여기서 “죽음”은 하나님으로부터의 분리입니다. 흑암의 생명이며 영적으로 눈이 가려지는 것입니다. 이것은 거듭나지 않은 사람 즉 하나님의 생명에서 떠난 자, 약속의 언약들에 대해 외인, 세상에서 소망이 없고 하나님이 없는 자(엡 2:12)의 삶입니다.

그러나 거듭난 당신은 “죽음이 없는 상태”가 되었습니다. 당신은 첫 번째 사람 아담의 형상이 아닌 하늘에서 나신 주님인 그리스도의 형상을 따라 거듭났습니다. 그분이 그러하심과 같이 우리도 이 세상에서 그러합니다(요일 4:17). 고린도전서 15:48은 이에 대해 설명합니다. “… 무릇 하늘에 속한 자들은 저 하늘에 속한 이와 같으니.”

당신 안에 하나님의 불멸의 생명이 있습니다. 베드로전서 1:23은 이렇게 선포합니다. “너희가 거듭난 것은 썩어질 씨로 된 것이 아니요 썩지 아니할 씨로 된 것이니 살아 있고 항상 있는 하나님의 말씀으로 되었느니라.” 말씀이 육신이 되신 예수님처럼 당신도 말씀의 자녀입니다. 그분과 같이 당신도 위로부터 났고 하늘에서 태어났습니다. 당신 안에 하나님의 썩지 않는 불멸의 생명이 있습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

고백

사랑하는 아버지, 내가 아버지의 말씀으로부터 받은 확실한 인도와 내 영에 밝혀진 빛에 감사드립니다. 당신의 말씀은 내 생명이며, 말씀에 대한 나의 믿음으로 말미암아 나는 모든 상황을 다스립니다. 내 안에 있는 그리스도의 불멸의 생명을 인식하며 나는 승리 안에 삽니다. 할렐루야!

BORN FROM ABOVE

And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world (John 8:23).

When the Lord Jesus said to the Jews in John 8:23, “I’m from above,” He was referring to His divine origin; He’s the Lord from heaven: “The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven” (1 Corinthians 15:47). The Lord Jesus made this distinction because everyone on earth received life through their earthly parents, but His life came from God?He is the Word made flesh. Every human person born into this world has the natural human life. That life, however, is corruptible life; it’s mortal.

This became man’s lot when Adam sinned against God and lost his authority to Satan in the Garden of Eden. As a result, death came into the world: “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12).

Sin came into the world by Adam’s disobedience, and death followed. “Death” here is separation from God: a life of darkness and spiritual blindness. That’s the life of the unregenerate man, whom the Word describes as alienated from the life of God, and a stranger from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world (Ephesians 2:12).

However, being born again, you’ve been brought into “deathlessness.” You’re not born after the image of the first man Adam, but after Christ, who is the Lord from heaven; and as He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). 1 Corinthians 15:48 explains it. It says, “…as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.”

You have in you the immortal life of God. 1 Peter 1:23 declares, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.” You’re the offspring of the Word, just as Jesus is the Word made flesh. Like Him, you’re from above; born from heaven, with the incorruptible and immortal life of God in you. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the sure guidance I receive from your Word and the light it unveils to my spirit.

Your Word is my life, and by my faith in your Word, I rule over circumstances; I live in victory, conscious of the indestructible life of Christ in me. Hallelujah!

Spiritual Understanding

“이로써 우리도 듣던 날부터 너희를 위하여 기도하기를 그치지 아니하고 구하노니 너희로 하여금 모든 신령한 지혜와 총명에 하나님의 뜻을 아는 것으로 채우게 하시고”(골 1:9)

하나님은 분명 우리가 영적인 이해를 갖기 원하십니다. 진리는 실재이며 영적입니다. 모든 것은 영적인 것에서 나왔습니다. 우리는 영적인 관점에서 살아야 하며, 성령님께서 말씀을 통해 우리에게 주신 통찰력으로 살 때만이 영적인 관점으로 살 수 있습니다. 요한복음 8장에 등장하는 예수님과 유대인 사이의 특별한 대화를 살펴보십시오. 예수님은 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “나도 너희가 아브라함의 자손인 줄 아노라 그러나 내 말이 너희 안에 있을 곳이 없으므로 나를 죽이려 하는도다”(요 8:37).

누가복음 22장에서 그분은 붙잡히는 상황에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “… 이제는 너희 때요 어둠의 권세로다 하시더라”(눅 22:53). 모든 사람들은 자연적인 관점에서 예수님이 붙잡히신 것을 봤지만, 예수님은 그 일을 영적으로 설명하셨습니다. 그분은 일의 배후에 어둠의 권세가 있다고 말씀하셨습니다.

이는 2020년부터 시작된 오늘날 세상의 위기와 같습니다. 많은 사람들이 진리를 모르기 때문에 속고 있습니다. 그들은 영적인 관점에서 보고 있지 않습니다. 오히려 그들은 인간의 육신적인 지시를 따르고 있습니다. 우리는 말씀의 지식을 통해 하나님의 일을 쉽게 인식하고 사탄의 일을 분별할 수 있습니다. 요한복음 16:2에 나오는 예수님의 말씀을 기억하십시오. “사람들이 너희를 출교할 뿐 아니라 때가 이르면 무릇 너희를 죽이는 자가 생각하기를 이것이 하나님을 섬기는 일이라 하리라.” 예수님은 어떤 사람들이 하나님의 백성들을 죽이면서도 자신들이 하나님을 섬긴다고 생각할 것이라고 분명히 말씀하셨습니다. 그들은 잘못된 해석과 판단을 내릴 것입니다. 그들은 육신을 따라 판단하기 때문입니다. 그들 안에 그분의 말씀이 있을 곳이 없습니다. 하나님의 영으로 거듭난 우리들은 말씀을 지속적으로 먹어야 합니다. 성령님은 말씀을 통해 우리에게 모든 것에 대한 영적인 통찰력과 이해를 주십니다.

기도

SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9).

Evidently, God wants us to have spiritual understanding. Truth is reality, and it’s spiritual.

All things hail from the spiritual. We must live from that perspective, and we can only do that by the insights given to us by the Holy Spirit, through the Word. Let’s examine a particular dialogue between Jesus and the Jews in John 8. Jesus said, “I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you” (John 8:37).

Now, they didn’t think their attempt to kill Him had anything to do with His Word not being in them; but Jesus knew. He pinpointed the root cause of their actions to something spiritual, because He was thinking spiritually. He said, “I know that ye are Abraham’s seed….” He didn’t take that away from them. But in a seemingly self-contradictory statement, He said, “…If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham” (John 8:39). He was talking spiritually.

Factually, Abraham was their father, but in action, they were children of the devil. While they were thinking factually (carnally) and arguing with Jesus, He was using the Word of God to interpret their thoughts and actions, because the Word of God is truth. He stood firmly on truth. And that’s how we must live. In Luke 22, on the occasion of His arrest, He said, “…this is your hour, and the power of darkness” (Luke 22:53). Everybody else looked at the arrest from the natural, factual point of view, but Jesus interpreted it spiritually. He said the power of darkness was behind it.

It’s like the crises going on in the world today, which started in 2020. Many are being deceived because they don’t know the truth. They’re not seeing from the spiritual perspective; rather, they’re following the carnal dictates of men. Through the knowledge of the Word, we can easily recognize the work of God and distinguish it from Satan’s work. Remember the words of Jesus in John 16:2: “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” He made it clear that some would think that when they kill God’s people they’re rendering Him service. They’ll have wrong interpretations and judgement, because they judge after the flesh. His Word has no place in them. We who are born of the Spirit of God must feed on the Word continually. The Holy Spirit through the Word gives us Spiritual insight and understanding in all things.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for giving me the ability to live in and by the truth. In all circumstances, I have peace and rest; peace with prosperity, health, strength and joy, because my mind is stayed on the truth of your Word always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

에베소서 5:8은 말합니다. “너희가 전에는 어둠이더니 이제는 주 안에서 빛이라 빛의 자녀들처럼 행하라.” 그리고 오늘의 본문 구절은 “너희는 다 빛의 아들이요…”라고 말합니다. 당신은 빛의 자녀입니다. 그리고 만일 당신이 빛의 자녀라면 당신은 빛입니다. 그것이 말씀이 정확히 말하고 있는 바입니다. 할렐루야!

WE ARE LIGHTS

Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness (1 Thessalonians 5:5).

In Ephesians 5:8, the Bible says, “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.” And our theme verse says, “Ye are all the children of light….” You’re a child of light, and if you’re a child of light, you’re light. That’s exactly what the Scripture says. Hallelujah!

The Lord Jesus, talking to the Jews, said, “While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light…” (John 12:36). He told them to believe in the light, that they may be the children of light. But they didn’t. We believed, and we received eternal life and became children of light. Glory to God!

John 8:12 says, “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” This is amazing. Also, think about the words of Jesus in John 9:5; He declared, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

What does He want your life to be like? He shows us in Matthew 5:16: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Philippians 2:15 says, “That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.”

We shine as lights in a dark world. We have the heart of the Father. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son….”

Therefore, we must love the people with the Father’s love. It’s part of shining as lights in the world.

When Jesus said to let the world “see your good works,” He was talking about works of righteousness.

Put your best into preaching the Gospel, turning men from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God. That’s the true solution to all human challenges: the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

I’m a light in a dark world, and my light shines everywhere! I’m wholly committed to interceding for the souls of men around the world and the spread of the Gospel, knowing that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

건강과 관련된 당신을 향한 하나님의 계획은 말씀을 사용하여 신성한 건강을 유지하고 인간적인 해결책에 굴복하지 않는 것입니다. 그분의 말씀은 약입니다. 성경은 말씀이 당신의 육체를 건강하게 한다고 말합니다. “내 아들아 내 말에 주의하며… 그것은 얻는 자에게 생명이 되며 그의 온 육체의 건강이 됨이니라”(잠 4:20-22). “건강”이라는 단어는 히브리어로 “마르페(marpe)”이며 약을 뜻합니다.

이것이 바로 당신이 아픔과 질병을 대적해서 말씀을 사용하는 방법입니다. 당신은 항상 말씀을 사용하는 법을 배워야 합니다. 질병이 당신으로 하여금 인간적인 해결책에 굴복하게 한다면 결국 질병이 당신을 지배할 것이기 때문입니다. 얼마 지나지 않아 당신은 인간적인 방식으로는 치료할 수 없는 상태에 이르게 될 것입니다. 건강과 관련된 모든 도전적인 상황은 하나님의 말씀을 사용해볼 수 있는 기회입니다.

그리스도인이 두통, 편두통, 감기, 열에 대해서 말씀을 사용하지 않는다면 어떻게 암, 당뇨, 관절염 혹은 말기 질환에 대해 그렇게 할 수 있겠습니까? 그러므로 말씀을 사용하십시오. 질병이 얼마나 작든지 상관없이 말씀을 사용하십시오. 그리고 당신의 건강을 관리하십시오. 마귀에게 틈을 주지 마십시오(엡 4:27).

고백

하나님의 말씀은 내 몸의 약입니다. 말씀은 내 삶에서 영향력과 지배력을 가지고 있습니다. 말씀은 하나님의 영을 통해 내 삶에 생명, 건강, 번영을 가져옵니다. 말씀은 내 뼈를 건강하게 하고, 내 피를 맑게 하고, 내 심장을 온전하게 하고, 내 피부를 깨끗하게 하고, 나를 신성한 건강 안에서 세웁니다. 할렐루야!

DON’T BOW TO HUMAN SOLUTIONS

So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed (Acts 19:20).

When it comes to your health, God’s plan is for you to use the Word to keep your body in divine health and not to bow to human solutions.

His Word is medicine; the Bible says it produces health in your physical body: “My son, attend to my words… they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:20-22). The word “health” is the Hebrew “marpe”; it means medicine.

This means you can apply the Word as you would a prescription drug. But the difference is, God’s Word is far more effective; it never fails. Perhaps you suddenly discovered a growth in your body that seems to be getting larger and diagnosed to be malignant; don’t get into a frenzy.

First, recognize that you’re not an ordinary person; you’re born again; you have the life of God in you.

Acknowledge and affirm this consciously and every so often. Then, affirm scriptures, such as Acts 19:20: “So mightily grew the Word of God and prevailed.” This is talking about the Word growing mightily in Ephesus and prevailing over religion, darkness and everything contrary to the Gospel, righteousness and the life of the Kingdom.

If the Word could work so mightily and prevail in a city as Ephesus, it’ll do the same in your physical body. Meditate and affirm the Word; declare that the Word of God is growing in your mind, your heart, your blood, your brain, and every fibre of your being. Talk to the growth and say, “Growth, you can’t stay in my body, because the Word of God is the life of my body; the Word of God is prevailing against you; you have no option but to dematerialize!”

This is how you use the Word against sickness and disease. You have to learn to always use the Word, because if sickness causes you to bow to human solutions, it’ll dominate you. Before long, you could be faced with something humanly incurable. All health challenges are opportunities to use the Word of God.

If a Christian doesn’t practise using the Word against headaches, migraines, colds and fevers, what would he or she do if cancer, diabetes, arthritis or some terminal diseases strike? So, use the Word. No matter how little you think the anomaly is, use the Word, and take charge of your health. Give no place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27).

CONFESSION

The Word of God is medicine to my body; it has gained the ascendancy and mastery in my life. By the Spirit of God, the Word brings forth life, health and prosperity in me. 성령으로 사십시오

Living By The Spirit

“하물며 영원하신 성령으로 말미암아 흠 없는 자기를 하나님께 드린 그리스도의 피가 어찌 너희 양심을 죽은 행실에서 깨끗하게 하고 살아 계신 하나님을 섬기게 하지 못하겠느냐”(히 9:14)

성령님 없이 참된 그리스도인의 삶을 사는 것은 불가능합니다. 성령님은 당신을 인도하시고, 하나님과 관련된 것들을 가르치시며, 당신이 가야 할 길을 알려주십니다. 성경은 교회가 휴거 될 때 눈 깜짝할 사이에 그리스도 안에서 죽은 자들이 먼저 일어날 것이라고 말합니다. 그 후에 우리 살아 있는 자들도 그들과 함께 끌어 올려져서 공중에서 주님을 영접하게 될 것입니다(살전 4:16-17, 고전 6:19-20).

하지만 이런 일이 어떻게 일어날까요? 성령의 능력으로 일어날 것입니다! 우리는 마지막 때를 살고 있습니다. 그리고 그 어느때보다 하나님은 사람들을 회개하도록 부르고 계십니다. 오늘날 세상에서 사탄이 조장하고 있는 파괴, 증오, 죽음, 살인, 악, 폭력에도 불구하고 하나님의 뜻은 베드로후서 3:9에 나타나 있습니다. “… 주께서는 너희를 대하여 오래 참으사 아무도 멸망하지 아니하고 다 회개하기에 이르기를 원하시느니라.”

그러나 어떤 사람도 성령 없이는 하나님이 원하시는 삶을 살 수 없습니다. 하나님을 영화롭고 영광스럽게 하는 삶을 사는 것은 성령의 능력으로 가능합니다. 그분만이 사람들을 회개에 이르게 할 수 있고 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 구원에 대한 진리를 깨닫게 할 수 있습니다. 예수님은 요한복음 16:8에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “그분(성령님)이 오시면 죄에 대하여, 의에 대하여, 심판에 대하여 세상을 책망하시리라”(한글킹제임스).

성령으로 사는 것은 하나님의 자녀를 위한 길입니다. 성령의 길은 성공, 승리, 계속 증가하는 영광의 길입니다. 따라서, 당신의 삶에서 성령님을 무시하지 마십시오. 의식적으로 하나님의 말씀을 따라 행동하며 성령님의 영향력과 인도에 자신을 내어드리십시오. 그분은 당신의 성공을 위한 청사진을 갖고 계십니다. 그분은 당신을 창조하셨고 당신의 삶과 미래에 대한 모든 것을 알고 계십니다. 그분은 당신이 기쁨으로 하나님의 뜻을 성취하며 당신의 삶을 영광스럽게 마무리하도록 돕는 일에 전념하십니다.

만일 이 글을 읽고 있는 당신이 아직 성령을 받지 못한 상태라면, 당신은 지금 그분을 받을 수 있습니다. 굉장히 쉽습니다. 당신이 성령으로 충만한 사람에게 안수를 부탁한다면, 당신은 성령을 받게 될 것입니다. 그리고 당신 스스로 성령을 구하고 하나님을 신뢰하며 믿음으로 성령을 받을 수도 있습니다. 할렐루야!

LIVING BY THE SPIRIT

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?(Hebrews 9:14).

It’s impossible to live the authentic Christian life without the Holy Spirit. He’s the One to guide you, teach you the things of God, and instruct you in the way you should go. At the Rapture of the Church, the Bible says in a twinkling of an eye, the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then, we who are alive and remain shall be caught up with them?to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

But how is this going to happen? It’ll be by the power of the Holy Spirit! We’re in the last days, and more than ever before, God is calling men to repentance. Regardless of the destruction, hatred, killings, murders, wickedness and violence in the world today orchestrated by Satan, the will of God is revealed in 2 Peter 3:9. It says, “The Lord is not … willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

However, without the Holy Spirit, they can’t live the life that God wants them to live. Living a life that glorifies and honours God is by the power of the Holy Spirit. He alone can bring men to repentance and the acknowledging of the truth about salvation in Christ Jesus. Jesus said in John 16:8, “And when he (the Holy Spirit) is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”

Living by the Spirit is the way for the child of God.

The way of the Spirit is the way of success, victory and ever-increasing glory. So, don’t ignore the Holy Spirit. Yield yourself to His influence and guidance by consciously acting on God’s Word. He’s the One with the blueprint for your success; He created you and knows everything about your life and future. He’s committed to seeing you finish your course gloriously, fulfilling the will of God with joy.

Perhaps you’re reading this and you haven’t received the Holy Spirit, you can receive Him even now; it’s very easy. You can have someone who’s full of the Spirit lay hands on you, and you’ll receive. You can also simply ask and receive Him into you by faith, trusting in God. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I yield myself to the influence and guidance of the Holy Spirit at all times. He’s my all-time Helper, Teacher and Guide, who continually reveals Christ Jesus to me and through me. He sanctifies my service to the Lord, and guides me in the path of righteousness. Amen.

Walking In His Love

“사랑하는 자들아 우리가 서로 사랑하자 사랑은 하나님께 속한 것이니 사랑하는 자마다 하나님으로부터 나서 하나님을 알고 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라”(요일 4:7-8)

사도 요한은 요한일서 4:16에서 바울의 교리를 요약해서 말합니다. “하나님이 우리를 사랑하시는 사랑을 우리가 알고 믿었노니 하나님은 사랑이시라 사랑 안에 거하는 자는 하나님 안에 거하고 하나님도 그의 안에 거하시느니라.” 따라서 그리스도 안에 있는 당신과 당신 안에 계신 그리스도는 당신 안에서 보여지고 당신을 통해 표현되는 그분의 사랑에 관한 것입니다.

하나님은 사랑이시며 그분의 자녀인 우리는 그리스도께서 우리를 사랑하신 것처럼 사랑해야 합니다. 성경은 말합니다. “그러므로 너희는 사랑받는 자녀들로서 하나님을 따르는 자가 되라[하나님을 모방하고 그분의 본을 따라라]. 그리스도께서 우리를 사랑하시어 우리를 위하여 자신을 하나님 앞에 향기로운 냄새를 내는 제물과 희생으로 드린 것같이 너희도 사랑 안에서 행하라. [서로를 존중하고 기쁨을 주어라.]”(엡 5:1-2 AMP)

예수님은 그분을 참소하는 자들과 그분을 부당하게 십자가에 못 박은 자들을 비롯한 모든 사람을 사랑하심으로 우리에게 좋은 본을 보이셨습니다.

사랑은 당신이 돌려받을 것을 생각하지 않고 자기 자신을 다른 사람들에게 내어줍니다. 사랑은 다른 사람들에 대해 생각하고 그들을 있는 그대로 받아들이게 합니다. 그들은 당신의 사랑을 받을 만한 행동을 할 필요가 없습니다. 사랑은 이기적이지 않으며 자신의 유익을 추구하지 않기 때문입니다. 사랑은 인종, 민족, 사회적 지위의 장벽을 허물어 버립니다. 사랑은 다른 사람들의 아름다움을 보게 하고 그들의 존재에 대해 감사하게 합니다.

그리스도 안에 있는 새로운 피조물은 하나님의 형상을 따라 새롭게 태어나고(골 3:10), 하나님의 사랑을 표현하는 신성한 능력으로 가득 차 있습니다. 당신 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑이 활기를 띠게 하십시오. 하나님의 사랑은 당신을 새로운 삶의 수준으로 끌어올리며 당신은 그 일로 인해 기뻐하게 될 것입니다. 그리스도인의 삶은 하나님이 우리에게 값없이 주신 사랑의 삶입니다. 그 사랑을 다른 사람들에게 나타내십시오.

기도

WALKING IN HIS LOVE

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love (1 John 4:7-8).

The Apostle John gives an encapsulated version of the revelation of the Pauline doctrine in 1 John 4:16: “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”

So, you in Christ, and Christ in you is about His love seen in you and expressed through you!

God is love, and as His children, we’re to love as Christ loved us. The Bible says, “THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]. And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance” (Ephesians 5:1-2 AMPC).

Jesus showed us a good example by loving everyone, including His accusers and those who unjustly put Him on the Cross. We ought to emulate the Master by loving everyone unconditionally.

Love makes you give of yourself to others without thinking of what you’ll get in return. It makes you think of others and accept them just as they are. They don’t have to act to deserve your love, for love is unselfish and doesn’t seek its own. It breaks the barriers of race, ethnicity and social status. It makes it possible for you to see the beauty in others and appreciate them for who they are.

The new creature in Christ is born anew after the image of God (Colossians 3:10) and is imbued with the divine ability to express divine love. Let God’s love in you come alive; it’ll lift you to a new level of life and you’d be glad this happened. The Christian life is a life of love, freely given to us of God. Manifest that same love to others.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation of your love to my spirit, and the ability to express and manifest your love to others. Love is the greatest power in the universe, and that love radiates through me today, to everyone in my world. Thank you for your glory in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

See Spiritually

“육신을 따르는 자는 육신의 일을, 영을 따르는 자는 영의 일을 생각하나니 육신의 생각은 사망이요 영의 생각은 생명과 평안이니라”(롬 8:5-6)

주 예수님은 모든 것, 즉 그분의 관점, 말, 행동, 소망, 믿음, 사랑에서 영성을 내보이셨습니다. 사도들도 마찬가지였습니다. 그들은 영적으로 생각했습니다. 그들은 영적인 관점으로 세상을 보았고 말씀에 입각하여 상황과 환경에 반응했습니다.

예수님이 상황들을 어떻게 다루셨는지 기억해보십시오! 그분이 오시기 전에는 어느 누구도 어떤 사람들이 처한 환경이 악한 영들 때문이라는 것을 몰랐습니다. 설령 그 사실을 알았다 하더라도 아무도 그 환경을 바꿀 수 없었습니다. 그러나 예수님은 그분의 말로 귀신들을 쫓아내셨습니다. “저물매 사람들이 귀신 들린 자를 많이 데리고 예수께 오거늘 예수께서 말씀으로 귀신들을 쫓아내시고 병든 자들을 다 고치시니”(마 8:16).

마가복음 9:25은 말합니다. “예수께서 무리가 달려와 모이는 것을 보시고 그 더러운 귀신을 꾸짖어 이르시되 말 못하고 못 듣는 귀신아 내가 네게 명하노니 그 아이에게서 나오고 다시 들어가지 말라 하시매.”

마가복음 1:23-26은 말합니다. “마침 그들의 회당에 더러운 귀신 들린 사람이 있어 … 예수께서 꾸짖어 이르시되 잠잠하고 그 사람에게서 나오라 하시니 더러운 귀신이 그 사람에게 경련을 일으키고 큰 소리를 지르며 나오는지라.” 귀신에 들려서 고랑과 쇠사슬에 묶여 있던 거라사인은 어땠습니까? 그는 쇠사슬을 끊고 자신의 몸을 해쳤습니다. 예수님이 그 길로 오실 때까지 그는 계속 그러한 상태였습니다. 주님은 악한 영에게 그 남자에게서 나올 것을 명하셨고, 그 남자는 회복되었습니다.(마가복음 5:1-13을 읽어보십시오.)

예수님은 말을 중요하게 여기십니다. 예수님은 날 때부터 몸이 마비되어 있던 사람에게도 “일어나라! 침상을 들고 걸어라!”라고 말씀하셨고 그는 치유받았습니다. 베데스다 연못 근처에 있던 서른여덟 해 동안 아팠던 남성의 이야기를 읽어보십시오. 예수님은 그에게 “일어나 네 자리를 들고 걸어가라”(요 5:8)고 말씀하셨습니다. 그분은 말은 영이라고 가르치셨습니다(요 6:63).

예수님은 영적인 영역에서 생명을 보셨습니다. 그분에 관한 한 모든 것은 영적인 영역에서 다스려졌습니다. 그리고 당신도 하나님의 자녀로서 영적인 영역에서 보고, 살아야 합니다. 영적인 영역에서 삶을 바라보십시오. 그러면 당신은 항상 승리할 것입니다.

SEE SPIRITUALLY

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:5-6).

The Lord Jesus manifested spirituality in all things: His views, words, actions, hope, faith and love. The apostles were the same. They were spiritually minded. They looked at the world from the spiritual perspective and responded to situations and circumstances from the standpoint of the Word.

Consider how Jesus dealt with certain situations!

Until He came, no one knew that an evil spirit could be responsible for the conditions in which some people found themselves; and even when they knew, no one could change that situation. But Jesus cast out evil spirits with His words: ”When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick” (Matthew 8:16).

Mark 9:25 says, “When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.”

Mark 1:23-26 says, “And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit…And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.” How about the demoniac at Gadara who was bound with chains and fetters? He broke the chains and inflicted wounds on his own body. Until Jesus came through that same road, he wallowed in that pitiable state. The Master commanded the evil spirit to come out of the man and he was restored (Read Mark 5:1?13).

Jesus put a premium on words. He spoke words as “Get up! Pick up your bed and walk!” and someone who had been paralyzed from birth could be healed.

Read the account of the man who was sick for thirtyeight years, and lay by the Pool of Bethesda. Jesus said to him, “…Rise, take up thy bed, and walk” (John 5:8).

He taught that words were spirit (John 6:63).

Jesus saw life from the realm of the spirit. As far as He was concerned, everything was controlled from the realm of the spirit. And as a child of God, that’s the realm you’re expected to see and live from. Interpret life from the spirit realm, and you’ll always win.

CONFESSION

I operate in this world by kingdom principles. I see by the Word; I see spiritually and live above the elements, failures, frustrations, darkness and corruption in this physical world. I walk in victory and dominion always. Amen.

He’s With You And In You Always

“내가 사망의 음침한 골짜기로 다닐지라도 해를 두려워하지 않을 것은 주께서 나와 함께 하심이라 주의 지팡이와 막대기가 나를 안위하시나이다”(시 23:4)

성경은 예수님이 회당장 야이로를 만나신 일을 알려줍니다. 그의 딸은 죽은 상태였습니다. 예수님은 야이로에게 “두려워하지 말고 믿기만 하라 그리하면 딸이 구원을 얻으리라”(눅 8:50)고 말씀하셨습니다. 또 다른 예시로 예수님은 회중들에게 하나님의 말씀을 가르치시면서 이렇게 훈계하셨습니다. “적은 무리여 무서워 말라 너희 아버지께서 그 나라를 너희에게 주시기를 기뻐하시느니라”(눅 12:32).

그분은 항상 우리에게 두려워하지 말라고 지시하십니다. 이는 우리가 삶의 문제들에 승리를 거둘 수 있도록 돕기 위해 그분께서 우리와 함께 하시기 때문입니다. 그분은 마태복음 28:20에서 말씀하셨습니다. “… 볼지어다 내가 세상 끝날까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라 하시니라.” 그러고 나서 그분께서 이 땅을 물리적으로 떠나야 하는 때가 왔을 때, 그분은 성령님을 보내셔서 우리 안에 그리고 우리와 함께 있게 하셨습니다. “내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와 함께 있게 하리니 그는 진리의 영이라… 그는 너희와 함께 거하심이요 또 너희 속에 계시겠음이라 내가 너희를 고아와 같이 버려두지 아니하고…”(요 14:16-18)

예수님이 하신 말씀을 그대로 믿으십시오. 성령님은 승천하신 그리스도를 대신하기 위해 오셨습니다. 그리고 지금 그분은 당신 안에 사십니다. 당신 안에 계신 그분의 임재를 항상 의식하십시오. 당신의 삶에서 그분의 은혜와 능력을 활용하십시오. 그분께서 “내가 항상 너희와 함께 있으리라”고 말씀하셨기 때문에 당신은 “하나님을 송축합니다! 나는 내 안에 그리고 나와 함께 계신 그리스도로 말미암아 모든 것을 할 수 있습니다! 그분은 내가 항상 승리하고 성공하는 삶을 살기 위해 필요한 전부이십니다!”라고 말해야 합니다.

당신이 이 세상 어디를 가든지 상관없습니다. 주님께서 아침, 점심, 저녁으로 당신과 함께 하십니다. 이 사실이 당신과 그분의 교제를 풍성하게 할 것입니다. 그분이 진실로 당신과 함께 하신다는 것을 인식하며 그분께 말씀드리십시오. 이는 당신의 삶에 대단한 기쁨을 줍니다. 당신을 진정으로 돌보시며 모든 권세를 가지신 위대한 영광의 하나님께서 항상 당신과 함께, 당신 안에 계시기 때문입니다.

기도

HE’S WITH YOU AND IN YOU ALWAYS

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me (Psalm 23:4).

The Bible tells us of an encounter Jesus had with Jairus, the ruler of the synagogue, whose daughter died. He told Jairus, “…Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole” (Luke 8:50). In another instance, He admonished His listeners as He taught them God’s Word, “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32 NKJV).

Always, He charges us not to fear, because He’s with us to help us deal victoriously with the issues of life. He said in Matthew 28:20, “…lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Then, when He was to physically leave this world, He sent the Holy Spirit?to be in us and with us: “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth…for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

I will not leave you comfortless…” (John 14:16-18).

Take Him at His Word. The Holy Spirit came to take the place of the ascended Christ, and now, He lives in you. Be ever conscious of His presence in you; take advantage of His grace and power in your life.

Since He says, “I’m with you always,” you should say, “Blessed be God! I can do all things through Christ that’s in me and with me. He’s all I need for an evervictorious and successful life!”

It doesn’t matter where you go in this world; the Lord is with you, morning, noon or night. This should enrich your fellowship with Him. Talk to Him with the consciousness that He’s really and truly with you. This should bring great excitement into your life because the One who really cares, the One who has all power?the great God of glory?is with you, and in you ALWAYS.

PRAYER

Righteous Father, what a blessing it is to know that you’re forever with me, and in me. I walk in the light and blessings of your indwelling presence, knowing that I’m mightily helped of you in all things, and energized for success. I walk in absolute victory today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

과학과 의학이 포기한 사람들이 있습니다. “불치병”이 그들의 폐를 망가뜨리거나, 심장이나 신장 혹은 중요한 장기에 영향을 끼쳤기 때문에 그들이 살 가능성은 의학적으로 너무나 희박하다고 합니다. 어떤 사람들은 최고의 의료 기관에서 최고의 의료진들과 약물로 치료를 받았지만 아무 소용이 없었습니다. 만일 당신이나 당신이 사랑하는 사람이 이 경우에 해당된다면 저는 당신에게 예수 그리스도 안에 소망이 있다고 알려주고 싶습니다.

당신이 이 아름다운 구절을 묵상하면 좋겠습니다. 로마서 8:10은 만일 그리스도가 당신 안에 있다면 당신의 몸은 죄로 인해 죽은 것일지라도 영은 의로 인해 산다고 말합니다. 당신의 육체가 이미 아픔과 질병으로 인해 상하고, 다치고, 망가지고, 피폐해졌고 죄가 당신의 몸을 불구로 만들었다면, 성령께서 그리스도의 의로 말미암아 당신의 몸을 소생시키시고 생명을 회복시키실 것입니다.

당신이 건강한 것이 하나님의 의입니다. 정말 강력합니다! 이것에 대해 깊이 생각해보십시오! 성경은 말합니다. “하나님이 죄를 알지도 못하신 이를 우리를 대신하여 죄로 삼으신 것은 우리로 하여금 그 안에서 하나님의 의가 되게 하려 하심이라”(고후 5:21). 그리스도의 의는 당신 안에 변화를 일으킵니다. 그리스도의 의의 결과로 당신은 하나님의 임재 안으로 받아들여지고, 정죄 받지 않습니다.

로마서 5:18은 말합니다. “그런즉 한 범죄로 많은 사람이 정죄에 이른 것 같이 한 의로운 행위로 말미암아 많은 사람이 의롭다 하심을 받아 생명에 이르렀느니라.” 예수님께서 값을 치르셨기 때문에 당신은 건강에 대한 권리를 가지고 있습니다. 어떤 질병이 당신의 몸을 공격하고 있는지는 중요하지 않습니다. 그 질병은 예수 이름 안에서 회복됩니다.

오늘의 본문 구절을 다시 묵상해보십시오. 그 구절은 약속이나 미래에 대한 내용이 아닙니다. 예수님을 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 하나님의 영이 당신 안에 계신다면 그분은 당신의 몸에도 생명을 주십니다. 지금부터 이러한 의식을 가지십시오.

고백

나는 예수 그리스도의 의로 인해 활력을 얻고, 살아나고, 생기를 얻고, 힘을 얻습니다. 나는 성령으로 말미암아 건강하고 강건하게 삽니다. 내 안에 있는 하나님의 생명이 아픔과 질병과 허약함을 없애 버립니다! 할렐루야!

THERE’S HOPE FOR YOU

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11).

There’re people that science and medicine have given up to die. Medically, their chances to live are very slim because of an “incurable” sickness that has, maybe, ruined their lungs, affected their heart, kidney or other vital organs in their body. Some have been to the best medical centres, with the best therapies and medications, yet to no avail. If this is your story or that of a loved one, I want to let you know that there’s hope in Jesus Christ.

There’s a beautiful verse of scripture I’ll like you to meditate on: Romans 8:10; it says if Christ be in you, although your body may be dead because of sin, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness. If your physical body has already been so battered, bruised, damaged and ravaged by sickness and disease, and sin has crippled it, the Holy Spirit will revitalize and restore life to it because of the righteousness of Christ.

It’s the righteousness of God for you to be in health. This is so powerful; think deeply on it! The Bible says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). The righteousness of Christ is what makes the difference in you. As a result of Christ’s righteousness, you’re accepted in the presence of God; you’re not condemned.

Romans 5:18 says, “Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.” You have a right to health, because Jesus paid for it. It doesn’t matter what manner of sickness has attacked your physical body; it can be reversed in the Name of Jesus.

Ponder again on what we read in our theme verse; that scripture is neither a promise nor something futuristic. If the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from death lives in you, He gives life to your body. Let this be your consciousness from now on.

CONFESSION

I’m vitalized, made alive, quickened and energized because of the righteousness of Jesus Christ. I live healthy and strong by the Holy Spirit. The God-life in me destroys sickness, disease and infirmities! Hallelujah!

Who’s In Your “House”?

“너희는 너희가 하나님의 성전인 것과 하나님의 성령이 너희 안에 계시는 것을 알지 못하느냐”(고전 3:16)

당신을 향한 하나님의 뜻은 신성한 건강 안에 사는 것입니다. 그분은 당신을 병들도록 만들지 않으셨습니다. 그분은 요한삼서 1:2에서 말씀하셨습니다. “사랑하는 자여 네 영혼이 잘됨 같이 네가 범사에 잘되고 강건하기를 내가 간구하노라.” 하나님은 당신의 신성한 건강을 보장하기 위해 성령님을 당신 안에 살도록 보내셨습니다. 로마서 8:11은 다음과 같이 선포합니다. “예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이의 영이 너희 안에 거하시면 그리스도 예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이가 너희 안에 거하시는 그의 영으로 말미암아 너희 죽을 몸도 살리시리라.”

이 구절은 당신 안에 성령님이 사는 결과를 보여줍니다. 그분은 종래 죽기 쉬운 혹은 죽을 수밖에 없던 당신의 몸을 살리셨습니다(생명을 주셨습니다). 로마서 8:10은 말합니다. “또 그리스도께서 너희 안에 계시면 몸은 죄로 말미암아 죽은 것이나 영은 의로 말미암아 살아 있는 것이니라.” 당신 안에 계신 성령님이 당신 육체의 생명이십니다. 따라서 당신 안에 누가 사는지가 중요합니다.

어떤 사람들은 자신의 몸에 살도록 허락한 자로 인해 몸이 허약하고, 연약하고, 망가지고, 병들었습니다. 당신의 몸은 당신의 집입니다. 그렇다면 질문은 당신의 “집”에 누가 있느냐는 것입니다. 당신이 자신의 몸에 살도록 허락한 사람은 누구입니까? 성령님입니까 아니면 귀신입니까? 당신의 몸에 누가 살 것인지 결정하는 사람은 당신이라는 것을 알고 있습니까?

바울은 로마서 12:1에서 이렇게 말합니다. “그러므로 형제들아 내가 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 너희를 권하노니 너희 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제물로 드리라 이는 너희가 드릴 영적 예배니라.” 그리고 그는 고린도전서 6:19-20에서 다음과 같이 강조합니다. “너희 몸은 너희가 하나님께로부터 받은 바 너희 가운데 계신 성령의 전인 줄을 알지 못하느냐 너희는 너희 자신의 것이 아니라 값으로 산 것이 되었으니 그런즉 너희 몸으로 하나님께 영광을 돌리라.”

어떤 이유였든지 당신을 괴롭게 하고 온갖 고통, 괴로움, 감염, 질병이 당신 몸에 나타나게 한 귀신을 가지고 있었다면, 당신은 심지어 지금도 예수 이름을 사용함으로써 자기 자신을 자유케 할 수 있습니다! 성경은 말합니다. “믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며…”(막 16:17) 그 악한 영들이 얼마나 오랜 기간 당신을 괴롭혔는지는 중요하지 않습니다. 그 아픔과 질병에게 당신의 몸에서 떠나라고 명령하십시오.

골로새서 1:27은 말합니다. “… 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라.” 하나님께 감사드립니다! 당신의 삶은 하나님의 영광을 위한 것입니다. 이제 그리스도께서 당신을 거처로 삼으셨으므로 당신은 하나님과 함께 평안과 영광을 누립니다. 하나님은 당신을 질병, 악, 어둠과 관련된 모든 것으로부터 분리시키셨습니다. 할렐루야!

고백

내 몸에는 아픔, 질병 혹은 허약함이 있을 곳이 없습니다. 성령님이 내 안에 사시며 내가 매일 완전한 건강 안에 살도록 나에게 활기를 주시고, 힘을 주시고, 강건케 하시고, 튼튼하게 하십니다. 나는 매일 승리하는 삶을 삽니다. 하나님은 나를 영광과 탁월함과 아름다움을 위해 구별하셨습니다. 그분의 이름에 영원히 영광 드립니다. 아멘.

WHO’S IN YOUR “HOUSE”?

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?(1 Corinthians 3:16).

God’s will is for you to walk in divine health; He didn’t create you for sickness. He said in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” To guarantee your divine health, He sent the Holy Spirit to live in you. Romans 8:11 declares, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

This shows the result of having the Holy Spirit live in you: He’s quickened (given life to) your hitherto death-prone or death-doomed body. The preceding verse 10 says, “But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness” (Romans 8:10 ESV). The Holy Spirit in you is the life of your physical body. So, it’s about who’s living in you.

Some people are frail, weak, broken and sickly in their body because of who they’ve permitted to live in their body. Your body is your house; so, the question is, who’s in your “house”? Who have you allowed inside your body? Is it the Holy Spirit or demons? Do you realize that you’re the one to decide who indwells your body?

Paul makes a passionate appeal in Romans 12:1, saying, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Then in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, he emphasizes, “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

If for any reason you’ve had demons tormenting you and causing all manner of pain, distress, infection and illness to be manifested in your body, you can free yourself even now by using the Name of Jesus!

The Bible says, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…”(Mark 16:17). It doesn’t matter for how long those wicked spirits may have troubled you; command them to leave you. Tell them to pack their sicknesses and diseases and get out of your body.

Colossians 1:27 says, “…Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Thanks be unto God! Your life is for the glory of God. Now that Christ has taken up His abode in you, you have peace and honour with God. God has separated you from sickness, evil and everything of darkness. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I give no place to sickness, disease or infirmity in my body. The Holy Spirit lives in me, and He vitalizes, energizes, strengthens, and invigorates me, causing me to walk in perfect health, daily. I live triumphantly unto God, who has separated me to Himself for glory, excellence and beauty. Glory to His Name forever. Amen.
