우리의 기도와 경배

Our Prayers And Worship

“또 다른 천사가 와서 제단 곁에 서서 금 향로를 가지고 많은 향을 받았으니 이는 모든 성도의 기도와 합하여 보좌 앞 금 제단에 드리고자 함이라”(계 8:3)

요한계시록을 공부할 때 발견할 수 있는 아름다운 점은 우리의 기도와 경배의 능력과 영적인 의미입니다. 예를 들어 요한계시록 15:8은 요한에게 계시된 놀라운 사실을 설명합니다. “하나님의 영광과 능력으로 말미암아 성전에 연기가 가득 차매 일곱 천사의 일곱 재앙이 마치기까지는 성전에 능히 들어갈 자가 없더라.”

이것은 우리가 구약에서 읽을 수 있는 내용 중 제사장들이 솔로몬이 지은 성전에 들어갈 때와 비슷합니다. 성경은 제사장들이 악기를 가지고 하나님께 노래 부르고 경배하기 시작할 때, 하나님의 영광이 하나님의 전을 가득 채워서 제사장들이 하나님의 영광의 구름으로 인하여 서서 섬길 수가 없었다고 말합니다(대하 5:14).

이 땅에서 드리는 우리의 기도와 경배는 하늘에서 엄청난 영향력을 가집니다. 우리가 기도하고 경배하는 것을 하나님이 어떻게 보십니까? 실제로 우리는 영적 제사를 드리는 것입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “그 두루마리를 취하시매 네 생물과 이십사 장로들이 그 어린 양 앞에 엎드려 각각 거문고와 향이 가득한 금 대접을 가졌으니 이 향은 성도의 기도들이라”(계 5:8).

당신이 이 땅에서 기도하는 것은 단순히 종교적인 일상이 아닙니다. 그 기도는 하늘에 향으로 올려집니다. 그것이 다윗이 “나의 기도가 주의 앞에 분향함과 같이 되며 나의 손 드는 것이 저녁 제사 같이 되게 하소서”(시 141:2)라고 말했을 때의 의미입니다. 다윗은 선지자로서 미래에 대한 계시를 가지고 있었습니다. 그는 우리의 기도와 제사와 손 드는 것이 구약의 향과 제사를 대신하게 될 것을 보았습니다.

고백

나는 오늘 나에게 사랑을 아낌없이 베푸시고 내 삶을 광채로 아름답게 만드신 위대하신 영광의 하나님을 손 들고 경배합니다. 축복, 영광, 지혜, 감사, 영광, 능력, 권능이 우리 하나님께 영원히 있습니다! 할렐루야!

OUR PRAYERS AND WORSHIP

And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne (Revelation 8:3).

When you study the Book of Revelation, one of the many beautiful things you find is the power and spiritual import of our prayers and worship.

Revelation 15:8, for example, describes something remarkable as revealed to John: it says, “And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.”

This parallels what we read in the Old Testament when the priests entered into the temple built by Solomon. The Bible says when they began to sing and worship God with the instruments of music, the glory of God filled the house, that even the priests couldn’t stand to minister by reason of the cloud of God’s glory (2 Chronicles 5:14).

Our prayers and worship in the earth have great impact in heaven. When we pray, when we worship, how does God see it? We’re actually offering spiritual sacrifices. The Bible says, “And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints” (Revelation 5:8).

When you’re praying here in the earth, it’s not a mere religious routine; it goes to Heaven as incense.

That’s what David meant when he said, “Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice” (Psalm 141:2).

David, being a prophet, had a revelation of the future.

He saw that our prayers and sacrifices and the lifting up of our hands would replace these incense and sacrifices of the Old Testament.

Our theme verse says there’s an altar?a temple? in heaven, upon which the angel offers his incense, alongside the incense of our own prayers. How amazing that is! So, when you’re praying and worshipping the Lord, it’s important that you understand the spiritual significance of what you’re engaged in and do it with faith, hope and love. Praise God!

CONFESSION

I lift my hands today in worship to the great God of glory, who has lavished His love on me and beautified my life with splendour. Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and might, be unto our God forever and ever! Hallelujah!

주 예수님은 결코 평범한 지시를 내리지 않으셨습니다. 그분의 지시는 그것을 수행할 수 있는 능력과 함께 옵니다. 따라서 당신은 그분의 지시를 수행할 능력을 자신이 가지고 있는지에 대해 염려할 필요가 전혀 없습니다. 그분의 제자들을 떠올려 보십시오. 그들은 처음에 사마리아로 가는 것조차 허락되지 않았습니다. 그리고 나서 예수님이 그들에게 “가서 모든 민족을 가르치라”고 지시하셨습니다.

우리는 보냄 받은 자들입니다. 우리는 영혼들을 구원하고 보호하는 사명을 가지고 있습니다. “… 너희에게 평강이 있을지어다 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것 같이 나도 너희를 보내노라”(요 20:21). 얼마나 대단한 지시입니까! 아버지께서 예수님을 보내신 것처럼 우리도 보냄 받았습니다. 그분의 지시에 고무되어 당신의 세상을 바꾸십시오.

그분은 우리에게 전 세계를 맡기실 정도로 우리를 신뢰하십니다. 그분은 우리가 그들을 복음으로 축복하기 원하십니다. 사도행전 3:26은 말합니다. “하나님이 그 종을 세워 복 주시려고 너희에게 먼저 보내사 너희로 하여금 돌이켜 각각 그 악함을 버리게 하셨느니라.”

예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “이 천국 복음이 모든 민족에게 증언되기 위하여 온 세상에 전파되리니 그제야 끝이 오리라”(마 24:14). 예수님은 우리가 그분의 구원하는 능력에 대한 소식을 전 세계에 알리기를 기대하고 계십니다. 이를 진지하게 받아들이고 날마다 영혼들을 구원하십시오.

고백

나는 내 속사람으로부터 성령으로 말미암아 능력으로 강건해짐으로 아직 복음을 듣지 않은 자들에게 담대히 가서 왕국의 신비들을 나눕니다. 나는 오늘 성령의 능력으로 가서 복음을 전하고 사람들을 흑암에서 하나님의 아들들의 영광스러운 자유 안으로 인도합니다. 이 땅에 구원을 위한 크나큰 은혜가 부어지므로 위대한 영혼의 추수가 일어납니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

TICKET TO THE WHOLE WORLD

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19).

The Lord Jesus never gave ordinary instructions; His instructions came with the power to carry them out. So, you never need to worry about whether or not you have the ability to execute His instructions.

The ability comes in the instruction. Think about His disciples: they weren’t even initially allowed to go to Samaria, but then Jesus instructed them to “Go and teach all nations.” This ought to make a great impression on you.

Jesus didn’t limit His instructions to the twelve apostles; they were for us all who believe in Him.

He’s commissioned us to reach the whole world. That means we’re beyond borders. The extent of our reach and the impact of our success with the Gospel are limitless. We’re to take His Word to the ends of the earth, teaching all nations the way of righteousness.

“Teaching all nations” means to make pupils and students of the nations. He’s given us the ticket to the whole world. Then He gave us the power to achieve it:

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

The world is our parish. The whole earth is given to us to fill it with the knowledge of Christ.

We’ve been sent. We’re on a mission to save and preserve lives: “…Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” (John 20:21). What an instruction! We’ve been commissioned as Jesus was commissioned; as the Father commissioned Him. Be inspired by His instructions, and change your world.

Think about the fact that He trusts us enough to commit the nations of the world to us that we may bless them with the Gospel! Acts 3:26 says, “Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.” In Matthew 24:14, He said, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14). He’s counting on us to make it happen; to tell the whole world the news of His saving power. Let’s take this seriously and win souls every day.

CONFESSION

I’m strengthened with might by God’s Spirit in my inner man to courageously reach the unreached and make the mysteries of the Kingdom known to them.

I go in the power of the Spirit today, proclaiming the Gospel, bringing men and women out of darkness into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. There’s a mighty haul of souls, as great grace for salvation is poured out upon the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

구약에서 하나님은 이스라엘 백성들에게 다양한 이름으로 자신을 나타내셨습니다. 이스라엘 백성들은 대대로 하나님을 여러 이름으로 인식했습니다. 그 이름들이 그분의 성품을 묘사하거나 나타냈기 때문입니다. 예를 들어, 여호와 닛시(나의 깃발), 여호와 라아(나의 목자), 여호와 라파(치료자), 여호와 체바오트(만군의 하나님)와 같은 이름들입니다.

그러나 오늘의 본문 구절은 그분이 말씀을 주의 모든 이름 위에 크게 하셨다고 말합니다. 당신이 그분을 엘샤다이, 아도나이, 여호와 라파, 혹은 여호와 이레 중 무엇으로 알았든지 상관없이 그분은 말씀을 모든 이름 위에 크게 하셨습니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 아버지의 말씀을 내 영에 계시해 주셔서 감사합니다. 아버지의 말씀은 내 마음과 삶에 영원히 있습니다. 나는 성공과 승리 안에 삽니다. 내 삶에 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 축복과 은혜가 끝없이 흐릅니다. 아멘.

ALL WRAPPED IN THE WORD

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name (Psalm 138:2).

In the Old Testament, God revealed Himself through various names to the children of Israel.

Generation after generation, they recognized Him with those names, for they depicted or described His character. Examples of such names are Jehovah Nissi (The Lord My Banner), Jehovah Raah (The Lord My Shepherd), Jehovah Rapha (The Lord That Heals), Jehovah Sabaoth (The Lord of Hosts), etc.

However, our theme verse says He’s magnified His Word above all the revelations of His names. Meaning that whether you knew Him as El shadai or as Adonai or as Jehovah Rapha or Jehovah Jireh?whatever you knew Him to be?He’s magnified His Word above all those revelations.

Those revelations were limited; they’re all wrapped up in the Word. If you know the Word of God, you’ll go beyond the man who knows God as Elshadai or Jehovah Rapha or any of the other revelations of Him in the Old Testament. John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the word was God.” This is the Word that’s been magnified above all the revelations of God’s names.

You don’t need all of the Hebrew names of God now; the last of the revealed names was Jehovah Shammah?the Lord is present; and after that, He brought forth “Emmanuel”?God with us?which was Jesus in the midst of His people. But His desire was to be in us: “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”(Colossians 1:27).

Too many have lived in religion and haven’t received reality; they don’t know how to relate with God. Christianity is a living thing; a real relationship with a living heavenly Father and His Son Jesus through the person and power of the Holy Spirit. Get to know the Word and put it to work, and your life will be an unending stream of blessings and grace.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of your Word to my spirit. Forever, your Word is settled in my heart and in my life. I walk in success, victory and triumph; my life is an unending stream of blessings and grace in Christ Jesus. Amen.

A “Heart And Mouth” Principle

“사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라”(롬 10:10)

사도 바울은 로마서 10:8-10에서 단순하지만 강력한 구원의 원리를 보여줍니다. 예수님이 당신을 위해 죽으셨다는 것과 하나님께서 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리셨다는 것을 마음으로 믿고 예수님을 당신 삶의 주인으로 고백할 때, 그 믿음의 선포 혹은 선언은 당신을 구원의 영역으로 쏘아 올립니다. “네가 만일 네 입으로 예수를 주로 시인하며 또 하나님께서 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 받으리라 사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라”(롬 10:9-10).

고백은 정말 중요합니다. 그러나 어떤 사람들은 그 부분을 놓칩니다. 그들은 마음속으로는 예수님이 주님이라는 것을 알지만, 한 번도 자신의 삶에 대한 그분의 주되심을 의식적으로 고백한 적이 없습니다. 고백이 없이는 구원도 없습니다. 그러므로 당신이 전도할 때 사역하는 대상에게 이 중요한 사실을 설명하십시오. “마음과 입”의 원리입니다. 둘 중 하나만 해서는 안 됩니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 구원의 기적과 복음을 통해 드러난 의에 감사드립니다. 예수님은 내 삶의 주인이십니다. 따라서 나는 그리스도의 구원의 능력을 받아들이는 모든 사람을 구원하고, 치유하고, 구출하고, 세우고, 번영케 하는 그분의 은혜를 누립니다. 오늘 구원의 메시지가 사람들의 심령에 들어갈 때, 그들 안에서 의의 선물을 받아들이도록 믿음에 불이 붙고 영생이 그들의 영에 전이됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

A “HEART AND MOUTH” PRINCIPLE

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).

The Apostle Paul, in Romans 10:8-10, shows us this simple, yet so powerful, principle of salvation. When you confess that Jesus is Lord of your life, believing in your heart that He died for you and God raised Him from the dead, that declaration or proclamation of your faith catapults you into the realms of salvation: “…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

The confession part is so important, and that’s where some have missed it. In their heart, they know Jesus is Lord, but they’ve never consciously confessed His Lordship over their lives, and without that, there’s no salvation. So, in your evangelical work, explain this important reality to those you minister to. It’s a “Heart and Mouth” principle; you can’t take one and leave the other.

The preceding verse 8 to Romans 10:9-10 that we read earlier says, “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.” If you don’t say it, salvation will never be activated, for salvation is activated by your confession; not the confession of sins, but your affirmation and declaration of the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Why do we need to confess the Lordship of Jesus? It’s because when you proclaim His Lordship over your life, you’re instantly translated into His spiritual kingdom and given eternal life, righteousness, protection, and all of the inheritance of the sons of God in Christ. He becomes the shepherd of your life, leading and guiding you through His Word and His Holy Spirit given to all who receive Him. Amen.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the miracle of salvation, and the righteousness that’s unveiled through the Gospel. Jesus is Lord of my life; therefore, I bask in His grace to save, heal, deliver, uplift and prosper me and all those who embrace His saving power. As the message of salvation gets into men’s hearts today, faith is ignited in them to receive the gift of righteousness, as eternal life is imparted to their spirits, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라”(요 3:16)

모든 그리스도인이 반드시 따라 살아야 하는 신앙의 기본 교리가 있습니다. 예를 들어, 당신은 하나님이 예수님을 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 믿어야 합니다. 이것을 믿지 않는다면 당신은 그리스도인이 아닙니다. 구원은 예수님의 부활로 인한 것이기 때문입니다. 예수님의 죽음은 세상의 죄에 대한 값이었지만, 그것이 그분의 죽음의 목적이나 결말은 아니었습니다.

당신이 많은 돈을 빚진 가난한 사람의 빚을 대신 갚아준다면 그것은 좋은 일이지만, 그것으로 충분하지는 않습니다. 빚을 대신 갚아주는 것은 그를 자유롭게 만들어줄 수는 있지만 그는 여전히 “가난한 자유인”입니다. 그가 가난에서 벗어나기 위해서는 몇 가지가 더 필요합니다. 마찬가지로 그리스도께서 그분의 피를 흘림으로써 세상의 죄에 대한 값을 지불하셨을 때, 우리는 죄의 결과에서 자유케 되었습니다. 정말 굉장한 일입니다! 그러나 그 일이 우리를 죄의 본성과 능력으로부터 자유케 한 것은 아니었습니다.

부활은 우리에게 영생을 주었습니다. 로마서 6:4은 말합니다. “그러므로 우리가 그의 죽으심과 합하여 세례를 받음으로 그와 함께 장사되었나니 이는 아버지의 영광으로 말미암아 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리심과 같이 우리로 또한 새 생명 가운데서 행하게 하려 함이라.” 그분의 부활은 우리를 새로운 의의 생명과 하나님의 아들들의 영광스러운 자유로 인도했습니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 예수님의 대속적인 죽음과 그분의 영광스러운 부활로 말미암아 그것을 믿고 선포하는 모든 자들이 구원받게 하시니 감사합니다. 이제 나는 그리스도 예수로 말미암아 하나님과의 교제 가운데 의와 새 생명으로 살아갑니다. 아멘.

HIS RESURRECTION GAVE US ETERNAL LIFE

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

There’re fundamental tenets of the Faith that every Christian must live by. For example, you must believe that God raised Jesus from the dead; otherwise, you’re not a Christian. That’s because salvation was made available by the resurrection of Jesus. The death of Jesus paid for the sins of the world, but that was neither the end nor the purpose of Jesus’ death.

If you found a poor man who owed a lot of money and you paid his debt, that’ll be great, but not enough. Paying his debt made him a free man, but a “poor free man.” He’ll require something more to live on so he’d be out of poverty. In the same way, when Christ paid for the sins of the world by the shedding of His blood, we were free from the consequences of sin. Awesome! But it didn’t make us free from the nature and power of sin.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ gave us a new life and power over sin. It gave us a new life of righteousness. Hallelujah! Believing in the resurrection means you believe in His death too, because there’ll be no resurrection without the death.

The resurrection is what gave us eternal life. The Bible says in Romans 6:4, “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” His resurrection ushered us into the new life of righteousness and the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the vicarious death of Jesus, and His glorious resurrection that has made salvation possible for everyone who believes and declares the same. Now, I walk in righteousness, in the newness of life, walking in fellowship with God, by Christ Jesus. Amen.

Give More Time To Prayer

“하나님은 우리의 피난처시요 힘이시니 환난 중에 만날 큰 도움이시라”(시 46:1)

에스더 3장과 4장은 우리에게 권력에 가까웠던 부자 하만에 대한 놀라운 이야기를 전해줍니다. 그는 어떤 이유 때문인지 유대인들을 미워했고 그들이 멸망하기를 원했습니다. 그는 왕에게 그런 취지로 제안을 했고, 왕의 허가를 받아 모든 유대인을 죽이기 위한 조서를 쓰고 칙령을 공포했습니다.

그러나 성경은 말합니다. “모르드개가 이 모든 일을 알고 자기의 옷을 찢고 굵은 베 옷을 입고 재를 뒤집어쓰고 성중에 나가서 대성 통곡하며”(에 4:1). 모르드개는 칙령이 공포되었을 때에도 하나님께서 그들의 상황을 변화시키실 수 있다는 것을 알고 있었습니다.

따라서 그는 유대인들을 북돋아주며 그들에게 기도와 금식을 요청했습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “유다인이 크게 애통하여 금식하며 울며 부르짖고 굵은 베 옷을 입고 재에 누운 자가 무수하더라”(에 4:3). 그들이 할 수 있는 일은 오직 하나님께 간구하는 것뿐이었습니다. 그리고 그들은 기적적으로 원수에게서 구출되었습니다!

역대하 32장에도 비슷한 기록이 있습니다. 성경은 앗수르 왕 산헤립과 앗수르 사람들이 유다를 멸망시키고 예루살렘을 점령하기로 계획했던 일을 알려줍니다. 성경은 말합니다. “이러므로 히스기야 왕이 아모스의 아들 선지자 이사야와 더불어 하늘을 향하여 부르짖어 기도하였더니 여호와께서 한 천사를 보내어 앗수르 왕의 진영에서 모든 큰 용사와 대장과 지휘관들을 멸하신지라…”(대하 32:20-21) 할렐루야!

적이 얼마나 많은지 혹은 강한지는 중요하지 않습니다. 당신이 기도의 자리에서 성령의 능력으로 적의 영향력을 끊어 버릴 수 있습니다. 당신이 해야 할 일은 기도에 시간을 쏟는 것입니다. 당신은 기도의 자리에서 긍휼하심을 받고 때를 따라 돕는 은혜를 발견합니다(히 4:16).

당신은 기도함으로써 하나님께서 그 기도를 들으시게 할 권리가 있습니다. 그러므로 자주 기도하십시오. 하나님께서 우리에게 기도하도록 권면하셨다는 사실을 기억하십시오. 그분은 당신이 상상할 수 있는 것 이상으로 당신에게 응답하기 원하시고 그 일에 열정적이십니다. 성경은 말합니다. “주의 눈은 의인을 향하시고 그의 귀는 의인의 간구에 기울이시되…”(벧전 3:12) 할렐루야! 이 구절에 대해 생각해보십시오!

GIVE MORE TIME TO PRAYER

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Esther Chapters 3 and 4 give us an amazing account of Haman, a wealthy man who was close to the reins of power; he was the king’s friend.

For some reason, he hated the Jews and wanted them exterminated. He presented a proposal to the king to that effect and with the king’s express permission, he drafted and published a decree for the elimination of all Jews, both young and old.

But the Bible says, “When Mordecai (one of the Jews) perceived all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry” (Esther 4:1). Mordecai understood that even though the decree had been made, God could cause a change in their circumstance.

He thus galvanised the Jews, and called for prayer and fasting. The Bible says “…there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes”

(Esther 4:3). All they could do was call on God, and they were miraculously delivered from their enemy!

There’s a similar account in 2 Chronicles 32; the Bible tells us how the Assyrians under Sennacherib, King of Assyria, planned to destroy Judah and take over Jerusalem. The Bible says, “And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven. And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria…” (2 Chronicles 32:20-21). Hallelujah!

It makes no difference how many or how strong your adversaries are; in the place of prayer, you can cut off their influence by the power of the Holy Spirit.

What you need is to give time to prayer. In the place of prayer, you obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

You have a right to be heard when you pray; therefore, pray often. Remember, He invited us to pray;

He’s more willing and passionate to answer you than you could ever imagine. The Bible says, “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers…” (1 Peter 3:12). Hallelujah!

Think about that!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your love, your grace, your presence, your Word, and for your wisdom at work in me. Thank you for the ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life. As I take advantage of the opportunity and privilege of prayer, I’m victorious always and in all things. I’m making progress from glory to glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

영적 제사를 드립니다

Offering Spiritual Sacrifices

“그러므로 우리가 그분을 통해서 찬양의 제물을 하나님께 계속해서 드리자. 이것이 그의 이름에 감사하는 우리 입술의 열매니라.”(히 13:15, 한글킹제임스)

우리가 속한 하나님의 왕국은 영적 왕국입니다. 그곳에서 우리는 영적 사역을 하고 영적 제사를 드립니다. 우리가 하나님께 드리는 제사는 영적 제사이기 때문에 우리가 영적으로 생각하는 것은 매우 중요합니다. 하나님은 죄를 없애지 못하던 수소와 염소의 제사를 영적 제사로 바꾸셨습니다.

우리가 “영적”이라고 말할 때 이는 영적인 실체, 실감에 대해 말하는 것입니다. 예를 들어 우리의 기도와 제사에 대한 하나님의 해석은 영적입니다. 심지어 선지자들도 그런 식으로 생각했습니다. 호세아 14:2은 말합니다. “너는 말씀을 가지고 여호와께로 돌아와서 아뢰기를 모든 불의를 제거하시고 선한 바를 받으소서 우리가 수송아지를 대신하여 입술의 열매를 주께 드리리이다.”

우리가 하나님께 하는 말은 구약에서 그분께 바쳐진 송아지처럼 하나님께 드려집니다. 경배 중에 우리가 하는 말은 하늘에서 그분께 바쳐진 수송아지와 똑같은 능력과 효력을 가집니다. 수소와 송아지는 사람들이 죽이고 먹어 버리지만 우리의 말은 하나님께 바로 드려지므로 더욱 중요합니다.

우리의 기도는 영적 제사입니다. 시편 141:2에서 다윗은 이렇게 말했습니다. “나의 기도가 주의 앞에 분향함과 같이 되며 나의 손 드는 것이 저녁 제사 같이 되게 하소서.” “그의 이름에 감사하는 우리 입술의 열매”가 영적 제사입니다. 이것은 당신이 하나님의 위대하심을 고백하고 있다는 의미입니다. 그분은 당신에게 은혜롭고 선하신 분이라고 고백하는 것입니다.

당신이 교회나 가정에서 무릎을 꿇거나 손을 들고 서서 주님을 경배할 때, 하늘에서는 실제로 어떤 일이 일어나고 있습니다. 그러나 그것이 다가 아닙니다! 오늘의 본문 구절의 다음 구절인 히브리서 13:16은 말합니다. “오직 선을 행함과 서로 나누어 주기를 잊지 말라 하나님은 이같은 제사를 기뻐하시느니라.” 가난한 자에게 자비를 베풀고 다른 사람에게 친절을 행할 기회를 찾는 것은 하나님께서 받으시는 제사입니다. 하늘에서 그 행동들은 영적입니다.

영적으로 생각하고 이것들이 실제임을 이해하는 것이 중요합니다. 그러므로 이 일을 더욱 진실하고 신중하게 잘 행하십시오.

OFFERING SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES

By him (Christ) therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name (Hebrews 13:15).

The Kingdom of God to which we belong is a spiritual Kingdom. Therein, we carry out spiritual ministry and offer spiritual sacrifices. This is why it’s so important that we’re spiritually minded, because the sacrifices we offer to God must be spiritual sacrifices. God moved from the sacrifices of bulls and goats that couldn’t take away sin, to spiritual sacrifices.

When we say “spiritual,” we’re dealing with spiritual substance, spiritual tangibility. God’s interpretation of our prayers and sacrifices, for example, is spiritual.

Even the prophets could see it that way; in Hosea 14:2, the Bible says, “Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.”

The words we speak to God come up to Him in the quality of those calves that were sacrificed unto Him in the Old Testament. Our words in worship have the same power and effect in heaven as when they brought the sacrifice of bulls to offer to God.

Our words are even more important because they go directly to God, but the bulls and calves were killed and eaten by the people. Our prayers are spiritual sacrifices. In Psalm 141:2, David said, “Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.” “The fruits of our lips, giving thanks to His Name” is a spiritual sacrifice; that means you’re confessing the greatness of God; you’re confessing that He’s gracious to you, and that He’s been good to you.

When you’re worshipping the Lord in Church, or in your home, or on your knees or standing with your hands lifted, something is actually happening in heaven. But that’s not all! Hebrews 13:16, which is the very next verse to our theme verse says, “But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” Showing mercy to the poor and looking for opportunities to express acts of kindness to others are sacrifices that are acceptable to God. It means that in heaven, they’re spiritual.

The importance of this is for us to be spiritually minded and understand that these things are real. Do them better, more carefully, and more truthfully.

PRAYER

Dear Lord, you’re gracious and kind; from generation to generation, you’re God! Thank you for your love; hank you for your protection and preservation. Thank you for bringing me into a life of liberty and dominion, to reign and express your will, character and goodness in the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

예수 이름 안에 있는 승리

Victory In His Name

“… 이기는 그에게는 내가 하나님의 낙원에 있는 생명나무의 열매를 주어 먹게 하리라”(계 2:7)

우리는 오늘의 본문 구절에서 다른 성경 말씀들과 마찬가지로 주님께서 우리에게 승리해야 한다고 지속적으로 말씀하시는 것을 발견합니다. 그분은 요한계시록 2:11에서 동일한 어구를 되풀이하며 말씀하셨습니다. “… 이기는 자는 둘째 사망의 해를 받지 아니하리라.” 그분은 또한 요한계시록 3:12에서도 반복하여 말씀하셨습니다. “이기는 자는 내 하나님 성전에 기둥이 되게 하리니…”

예수님은 이미 세상을 이기셨고, 그분이 승리하실 때 우리는 그분 안에 있었습니다. 그분의 승리는 우리를 위한 것이었습니다. 그분은 요한복음 16:33에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “… 담대하라 내가 세상을 이기었노라.” 우리는 그분 안에서 사탄과 지옥의 모든 귀신들을 이겼습니다. 그러나 우리는 우리의 승리를 유지해야 합니다. 그것이 우리의 역할이자 우리의 믿음의 싸움입니다.

주님은 대적이 이 세상의 시스템을 가지고 우리와 싸우려고 할 것을 아십니다. 주님은 우리에게 믿음을 굳건히 하며 사탄을 대적하라고 명하셨습니다. 바로 이것이 믿음의 싸움이며, 그분은 우리를 전쟁 무기 없이 내버려두지 않으셨습니다. 다윗은 골리앗에 맞설 때 “너는 칼과 창과 단창으로 내게 나아 오거니와 나는 만군의 여호와의 이름 곧 네가 모욕하는 이스라엘 군대의 하나님의 이름으로 네게 나아가노라”(삼상 17:45)라고 말했습니다. 만군의 여호와 이름이 그의 무기였습니다! 다윗은 그 이름으로 블레셋 사람을 이겼습니다. 할렐루야!

오늘날 우리의 무기는 주님의 이름입니다. 예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며…”(막 16:17) 즉, 당신이 그분의 이름으로 귀신을 다스리고, 통제하고, 쫓아낼 것이라는 의미입니다. 그러고 나서 그분은 우리가 모든 상황에서 그분의 이름을 사용해야 한다고 말씀하셨습니다. “또 무엇을 하든지 말에나 일에나 다 주 예수의 이름으로 하고…”(골 3:17) 이것이 승리입니다!

오늘 당신이 사무실, 학교, 직장, 사업장에 갈 때, 예수 이름으로 가십시오. 이는 그곳에서 어떤 일이 당신을 기다리고 있든지 당신은 이미 승리를 얻었다는 의미입니다. 당신은 예수 이름으로 승리할 것입니다! 다른 사람들은 사업 이익이 감소하는 것에 대해 불평할 수 있지만, 당신의 간증은 다를 것입니다. 왜 그렇습니까? 당신은 예수 이름으로 당신의 사업체를 운영하고 있기 때문입니다.

성경은 말합니다. “무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라…”(요일 5:4) 당신은 그분의 이름 안에서 세상의 증오, 죽음, 속임수, 거짓과 허위, 경기와 경제를 이겼습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

고백

나는 하나님께로부터 난 자입니다. 그러므로 나는 세상과 그에 속한 증오, 불신앙, 악함, 기만, 경기와 경제, 죽음, 거짓과 허위를 이겼습니다. 나는 예수 이름 안에서 영원히 승리자입니다! 할렐루야!

VICTORY IN HIS NAME

…To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God (Revelation 2:7).

In the verse above, like several other portions of the Scriptures, we find the Lord constantly prompting us to overcome. In a reiterative pattern, He announced in Revelation 2:11, “…He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.” This is Jesus talking, and in Revelation 3:12, He repeated, “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God….”

Jesus already overcame the world and when He did, we were in Him. His victory was for us. In John 16:33, He said, “…be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” In Him, we defeated Satan and all the demons of hell, but we’re required to maintain our victory; that’s our role. That’s the fight of faith.

The Lord knows that the adversary would try to fight us with the systems of this world. But He charged us to resist him, steadfast in the faith. This is what the fight of faith is about and He didn’t leave us without the weapon for the fight. When David confronted Goliath, he said, “…Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts…” (1 Samuel 17:45). That was his weapon: The Name of the LORD of hosts! With that Name, he overcame the Philistines. Hallelujah!

That’s our weapon today. Jesus said, “…In my name shall they cast out devils…” (Mark 16:17).

That means, in His Name, you’ll rule over, control, and dispel demons. Then He said we should use His Name in all circumstances: “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus…”(Colossians 3:17). That’s the victory!

As you go to your office, school, place of work or business today, go in the Name of Jesus. That means no matter what’s waiting for you there, you already have the victory; you’ll overpower it in the Name of Jesus!

Others may be complaining about their dwindling business fortunes, but your testimony is different. Why?

You’re running your businesses in the Name of Jesus.

The Bible says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world…” (1 John 5:4). You’ve overcome the world with its hatred, death, deception, falsehood and falsities, economies and economics?in His Name. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

I’m born of God; therefore, I’ve overcome the world and its hatred, unbelief, wickedness, deceptions, economies and economics, death, falsehood and falsities. I’m victorious forever in the Name of Jesus! Hallelujah!

“피조물이 고대하는 바는 하나님의 아들들이 나타나는 것이니”(롬 8:19)

인간 세상에서는 모든 것이 굴복한 상태이지만(롬 8:20), 하나님의 세상에서는 다릅니다. 예를 들어, 예수님은 빵 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가지고 그것들에게 말씀하셨고, 그 빵과 물고기는 배가되어 5천 명의 남성들을 (여성들과 아이들은 제외된 숫자입니다) 먹이고도 여러 광주리가 남았습니다(마 14:17-20).

마가복음 3:1-5에서 예수님은 손이 마른 자를 보시고 “네 손을 펴라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 그가 손을 펴자 그의 손이 온전하게 회복되었습니다. 그분은 절름발이에게도 말씀하셨고 그 다리는 회복되었습니다. 그분이 다리가 없는 자에게 말씀하시자 다리가 자라났습니다.

예수님은 나사로가 묻힌 무덤 어귀에 이르렀을 때 아버지께 감사를 드리는 간단한 기도를 하셨습니다. 그러고 나서 큰 목소리로 “나사로야, 나오너라.”라고 외치셨습니다. 죽어서 나흘간 장사 되어 있던 나사로는 살아나 무덤에서 나왔습니다(요 11:41-44).

또한 그분은 야이로의 딸도 살리셨습니다. 그분은 죽은 소녀의 손을 잡고 “일어나라.”고 말씀하셨습니다. 그러자 그 소녀는 살아났습니다(눅 8:54). 나인이란 성읍에 사는 과부의 아들은 어땠습니까? 운구하는 사람들이 그를 메고 나오고 있었습니다.

예수님은 괴로워하는 과부를 보고 가까이 가셔서 그 관에 손을 대고 말씀하셨습니다. “청년아, 내가 네게 말하노니 일어나라.” 그러자 그 죽은 아들이 일어났고 예수님이 그를 어머니에게 돌려주셨습니다(눅 7:11-15). 그리스도 안에는 자유가 있고, 예수님은 그분이 우리에게 가져오신 그 영의 자유를 보여주셨습니다. 그리스도 안에서 “살아있지 않은 것(non-living)”이란 없습니다. 그 안에는 쓸모 없고, 헛되며, 죽은 것이 없습니다.

모든 피조물은 고통 속에 신음하며 하나님의 아들들의 영광스러운 자유 안에서 해방되기를 고대하고 있습니다. 이제 당신이 등장했으므로 모든 피조물을 자유케 하고 해방시키십시오. 주변의 모든 “죽은” 것에게 축복을 말하고 당신의 세상에 있는 모든 피조물에게 구원을 가져가십시오. 그리스도 안에서 그들을 썩어짐의 종노릇으로부터 해방시켜 하나님의 아들들의 영광스러운 자유에 이르게 하십시오.

고백

IN CHRIST?EVERYTHING IS ALIVE

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19).

Everything in man’s world is in captivity (Romans 8:20), but in God’s world, things are different.

For example, Jesus took five loaves of bread and two fishes, talked to them and they multiplied, such that about five thousand men (women and the children not counted) were fed with many baskets of leftovers (Matthew 14:17?20).

In Mark 3:1-5, Jesus looked at the man who had a withered arm and said to him, “Hold out your hand.”

When the man held it out, his hand was completely restored. He talked to lame legs and they were revived.

He talked to a man who had no legs the legs grew out.

When He got to the entrance of the sepulcher where Lazarus was buried, He uttered a simple prayer of thanks to the Father, and then cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth.” Lazarus, having been dead and buried for four days, came out of the grave alive (John 11:41-44).

He also raised the daughter of Jairus back to life.

He took the dead girl by the hand and said, “Get up!”

And she came back to life (Luke 8:54). How about the son of a widow who lived in the city of Nain? He was being borne by the undertakers to the place of internment. Seeing the widow in distress, Jesus walked over, touched the casket and said, “Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.” The hitherto dead young man sat up and Jesus presented him to his mother (Luke 7:11-15).

There is a liberty in Christ, and He demonstrated that liberty of the Spirit that He brought to us. In Christ, there’s no such thing as “non-living”; there’re no such things as waste, vanity and death.

The entire creation is groaning in pain, waiting to be liberated into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.

Now that you’ve arrived on the scene, set the creation free; liberate them. Speak blessings to everything around you that’s “dead” and bring deliverance to every creature in your world. In Christ, take them out of bondage and corruption, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.

CONFESSION

I release words of prosperity, health, blessings and life to every creature in my world, taking them out of bondage and corruption, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Everything in and around me is always new, excellent, perfect and full of beauty, because life is working in and through me. The supernatural is an everyday occurrence, because I manifest eternal life. Hallelujah!

성령의 교제

Our Fellowship With The Spirit

“주 예수 그리스도의 은혜와 하나님의 사랑과 성령의 교제가 너희 모두와 함께 있을지어다. 아멘.”(고후 13:14, 한글킹제임스)

오늘의 본문 구절에 나오는 “성령의 교제”는 성령님과의 파트너십, 커뮤니케이션, 사귐을 의미합니다. 성령님과 대화하는 것, 그분의 주되심과 인도에 내어지는 것, 당신의 생각을 그분과 나누는 것, 그분의 생각을 말씀을 통해 당신의 영 안에 받는 것을 포함합니다. 이 성령의 교제가 당신의 삶에서 놀라운 성공이 나타나게 합니다.

어떤 사람들은 성령님과 교제하는 것의 명백한 유익과 축복을 이해하지 못합니다. 성령님과의 교제가 일상의 대부분을 차지해야 합니다. 그분은 당신 삶의 모든 부분에 관여하기 원하십니다.

성령님과의 교제를 중요하게 여기는 그리스도인들은 종종 우연히 발생하는 불행한 일로부터 보호됩니다. 그분은 시편 32:8에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 네 갈 길을 가르쳐 보이고 너를 주목하여 훈계하리로다.” 이것에 대해 생각해보십시오! 이어지는 9절에서 그분은 중요한 훈계를 하셨습니다. “너희는 무지한 말이나 노새 같이 되지 말지어다. 그것들은 재갈과 굴레로 단속하지 아니하면 너희에게 가까이 가지 아니하리로다.”

당신은 “대형 화재로 인해 스물다섯 명이 죽었고, 그중 한 여성은 그리스도인이었다.” 혹은 “어떤 형제가 부모님을 뵙기 위해 가다가 사고를 당해 죽었다.”와 같은 말을 들은 적이 있을 것입니다. 그런 일이 일어나서는 안 됩니다! 모든 지혜와 영적 지각 안에서 그분의 뜻을 아는 지식으로 충만하고 성령님과 동행하는 하나님의 자녀에게 사고나 변고는 없습니다.

말씀은 당신이 성령님과 말씀에 내어져 있을 때 “평안히 살며 재앙의 두려움이 없이 안전하리라”(잠 1:33)고 말합니다. 할렐루야! 성령님과의 친밀한 관계를 발전시키십시오. 자기 자신을 위해 성령님에 대해 아십시오. 기도와 말씀 묵상을 통해 끊임없이 그분과 교통하십시오. 성령님은 아버지께서 우리에게 보내실 것이라고 말씀하신 돕는 분, 상담자, 교사, 변호자, 위로자, 힘 주시는 분, 비상 대기자임을 기억하십시오.

고백

사랑하는 아버지, 성령님이라는 귀한 선물로 인해 감사드립니다. 그분은 내가 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 운명을 성취하도록 이끌고 인도하기 위해 보냄 받으셨습니다. 나는 성령님과의 교제를 통해 흑암의 세력과 세상 및 그 시스템을 지배하고 다스립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

OUR FELLOWSHIP WITH THE SPIRIT

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13:14).

“The communion of the Holy Ghost” in the verse above refers to the partnership, communication, or fellowship with the Holy Spirit. It involves talking with Him; yielding to His Lordship and guidance; sharing your thoughts with Him, and receiving His thoughts in your spirit and through the Word. This is what marks you out for extraordinary success in life.

Some haven’t understood the incontrovertible benefits and blessings of fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Fellowship with the Spirit should take or form the most part of your daily routine. He wants to be involved with every part of your life.

Christians who take their fellowship with the Holy Spirit seriously are often shielded and protected from chance and unfortunate occurrences. He said in Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

Think about that! But then, in the ensuing verse 9, He gave an important admonition: “Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle…”(Psalm 32:9).

Sometimes you hear, “Twenty-five people were killed in an inferno, and a Christian sister was among them.” Or you hear, “Brother so and so was travelling to see his parents, there was an accident, and he died.”

It’s not supposed to be so! There’re no accidents or mishaps to the child of God who’s in tune with the Spirit, filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

When you’re yielded to the Spirit and the Word, the Bible says you “…shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil” (Proverbs 1:33). Hallelujah!

Develop an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Know Him for yourself. Commune with Him constantly in prayer and through meditation on the Word.

Remember He’s the Helper, Counsellor, Teacher, Advocate, Comforter, Strengthener and Standby that Jesus said the Father would send to us.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the precious gift of the Holy Spirit, whom you sent to lead and guide me through life, in fulfilling my destiny in Christ. Through my fellowship with the Holy Spirit, I rule and reign over the forces of darkness, the world and its systems, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
