어둠에 대한 통치권

Dominion Over Darkness

“… 아버지께 감사하게 하시기를 원하노라 그가 우리를 흑암의 권세에서 건져내사 그의 사랑의 아들의 나라로 옮기셨으니”(골 1:12-13)

거듭난 당신은 사탄보다 우월한 존재입니다. 당신은 예수님 안에서, 그분과 함께 사탄의 영역인 지옥에서 그를 이겼습니다. 골로새서 2:15은 말합니다. “통치자들과 권세들을 무력화하여 드러내어 구경거리로 삼으시고 십자가로 그들을 이기셨느니라.” 예수님이 이 일을 하실 때 당신도 그분 안에 있었습니다. 할렐루야!

그러므로 당신은 흑암의 권세, 통치권, 관할, 능력 아래 있지 않습니다. 그것들은 더 이상 당신의 삶에 영향을 끼칠 수 없습니다. 당신이 있는 곳은 그들이 도달하거나 접근할 수 없는 영역입니다. 바로 하나님의 사랑의 아들의 나라입니다. 당신은 귀신에게 휘둘려서는 안 됩니다. 하지만 문제는 교회 안에 있는 많은 사람들이 사탄과 흑암의 권세를 다스리는 그들의 통치권과 권세를 행사하지 않는다는 것입니다.

사탄을 대할 때는 논쟁이나 무의미한 다툼이 필요하지 않습니다. 예수님은 “너는 내 이름으로 마귀들을 ‘밀어’ 내거나 맞붙어 싸워야 한다.”고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다. 그분은 “귀신을 쫓아내며”(막 16:17)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 이는 추방하고, 내쫓고, 강하게 내던지는 것입니다. 당신은 귀신에게 명령합니다. 할렐루야! 당신은 하나님의 말씀이 역사하도록 해야 합니다.

예를 들어, 마귀가 당신의 손이나 머리, 몸통, 목소리, 다리가 떨리게 만든다면 “멈춰라, 마귀야! 나는 어둠의 영역이 아닌 그리스도의 왕국에 속했다. 그러므로 몸아, 나는 예수 이름으로 이 비정상적인 상태가 멈추기를 명한다!”고 말하십시오. 그러면 그 문제는 끝날 것입니다. 당신이 선포할 때 당신의 몸은 따르게 되어 있습니다. 하나님의 말씀이 법이기 때문입니다! 예수 이름의 권세에 저항할 수 있는 것은 아무것도 없습니다.

고백

주님께서 나에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권세를 주셨기 때문에 아무것도 나를 해칠 수 없습니다. 사탄은 내 삶이나 가정, 혹은 내가 사랑하는 사람들의 삶에 개입할 권리가 없습니다. 나는 사탄을 제압하고, 환경을 다스리며, 내 세상을 책임지도록 하늘과 땅의 모든 능력과 권세를 받았기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

DOMINION OVER DARKNESS

Giving thanks unto the Father…Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:12-13).

Being born again, you’re superior to Satan; you defeated Satan in and with Jesus?in Satan’s own domain?hell! Colossians 2:15 (NIV) says, “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.” When Jesus did this, you were in Him.

Hallelujah!

Therefore, you’re not under the authority, dominion, jurisdiction, or powers of darkness; they can’t affect your life anymore. Where you are is a realm they can’t attain to or approach; it’s the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. You’re not supposed to be at the mercy of demons. But the problem is that many in the Church haven’t exercised their authority and dominion over Satan and the powers of darkness.

In dealing with Satan, there’s no need for argument or pointless tussle. Jesus didn’t say, “You shall “push” away or tussle with devils in my Name”; He said, “…

cast out devils…” (Mark 16:17); that is, kick out, throw out, fling off with force. You give them commands.

Hallelujah! You’ve got to put the Word of God to work.

If, for example, the devil is causing you Essential Tremor?causing your hands, head, trunk, voice or legs to shake rhythmically?you say, “Hold on, devil!

I belong in the Kingdom of Christ, not in the domain of darkness. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, body, I command this anomaly to stop!” That’ll be the end of that trouble. When you insist, your body will comply, because God’s Word is law! Nothing can resist the power in the Name of Jesus.

The Lord has given you power (authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the ability of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Satan has no right to run things in your life or in your home or in the lives of your loved ones, because you’re one with Christ, vested with all power and authority in heaven and in the earth to subdue Satan, dominate circumstances, and take charge of your world. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

The Lord has given me power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the abilities of the enemy;

and nothing shall by any means hurt me. Satan has no right to run things in my life, or in my home or in the lives of my loved ones, because I’ve been vested with all power and authority in heaven and in earth to subdue, dominate and take charge of my world.

The Christ-life In You

“우리 생명이신 그리스도께서 나타나실 그 때에 너희도 그와 함께 영광 중에 나타나리라”(골 3:4)

예수님은 요한복음 5:26에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “아버지께서 자기 속에 생명이 있음 같이 아들에게도 생명을 주어 그 속에 있게 하셨고.” 이 구절은 예수님이 이 땅에 사셨을 때 하나님과 같은 생명을 가지고 계셨음을 의미합니다. 예수님 자신도 하나님이시기 때문입니다. 요한복음 10:38에서는 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “아버지께서 내 안에 계시며 또 내가 그분 안에 있는 것을 너희가 알게 되고 또 믿게 되리라.”(한글킹제임스)

우리가 방금 읽은 내용은 특별합니다. 하나님은 사람에게 이 일이 일어나기를 바라셨고 이를 위해 사람을 창조하셨습니다. 하나님이 우리 안에 계시고 우리가 그분 안에 있어서 그분과 하나가 되는 것입니다. 우리는 그분을 반영하는 초월적인 존재이며, 그분과 같은 종류의 연합체이자 이 땅에서 그분을 상징하는 자들입니다. 당신이 거듭났을 때 바로 이런 일이 일어났습니다. 성경은 “그러나 주와 합하는 자는 한 영이니라”(고전 6:17)고 말합니다.

당신이 사람에게서 태어났더라도 그리스도와의 하나됨이 당신을 초자연적인 존재로 만듭니다. 당신 안에 있는 생명은 하나님의 생명이자 본성이기 때문입니다. 이제 그리스도가 당신의 생명입니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용이 바로 이것입니다. 요한일서 5:11-12은 말합니다. “또 증거는 이것이니 하나님이 우리에게 영생을 주신 것과 이 생명이 그의 아들 안에 있는 그것이니라 아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라.” 하나님을 송축합니다!

당신에게 예수 그리스도가 있다면, 이제 당신 안에는 신성한 생명이 있습니다. 로마서 6:23은 하나님의 선물은 예수 그리스도로 말미암은 영원한 생명이라고 말합니다. 이것이 복음의 근본 진리입니다. 복음에 대한 당신의 이해가 높아질수록 당신은 예수님이 멀리 계시지 않을 뿐 아니라 당신에게 영생을 주신다는 것을 알게 됩니다. 그분 자신이 영원한 생명이십니다! 당신에게 영생을 주심으로 그분은 실제로 자기 자신을 주셨습니다. 이보다 더 영광스러운 일이 무엇이겠습니까?

고백

나의 생명은 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감추어져 있습니다. 그리스도가 내 생명이십니다! 죄, 실패, 패배, 수치의 삶은 십자가에 못 박혔고 나는 그리스도와 함께 의, 존귀, 평안, 영광의 삶으로 당당히 일으켜졌습니다. 내 인간의 생명은 그분의 신성으로 대체되었습니다. 그분의 이름을 영원히 송축합니다!

THE CHRIST-LIFE IN YOU

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory (Colossians 3:4).

In John 5:26, Jesus said, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” This means that Jesus had the same life as God when He walked the earth. He had to, because He is Himself God. He said in John 10:38, “I want you to know and believe that the Father is in me and I in Him.”

What we just read is simply extraordinary; it’s the very thing that God wanted with man, for which He created man: to be in us, and us in Him, so we would be one with Him?super beings of His reflection? associates of the God-kind, and His icons in the earth.

Hallelujah! This happened when you were born again.

The Bible says, “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Even though you were born of a human being, this oneness with Christ makes you supernatural, because the life in you is the life and nature of God; now, Christ is your life. That’s what we read in our theme verse. 1 John 5:11-12 NKJV says, “And this is the testimony:

that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” Blessed be God!

If you have Jesus Christ, you have divine life in you now. Romans 6:23 says the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. But that’s a fundamental truth of the Gospel. As you get higher in the understanding of the Gospel, you’d discover that Jesus really doesn’t stand away and give you eternal life; He’s Himself eternal life! In giving you eternal life, He actually gave you Himself. What could be more glorious!

CONFESSION

My life is hid with Christ in God; Christ is my life!

The life of sin, failure, defeat and shame was nailed to the Cross, and I arose triumphantly with Christ to a life of righteousness, honour, peace and glory.

My humanity has been supplanted by His divinity.

Trust And Act On His Word

“그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 이를 앎으로 말미암음이라”(벧후 1:3)

고린도전서 3:21에서 사도 바울은 본문 구절의 밑줄 친 부분을 확증합니다. “… 만물이 다 너희 것임이라.” 이는 만물이 그리스도 안에 있고, 그리스도는 당신 안에 계시기 때문입니다! 그러므로 현재의 것이나 장래의 것이나 모든 것이 당신의 것입니다! 당신의 능력이나 인간의 지혜가 아닌 그분의 신성한 능력이 당신에게 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 주셨습니다. 이것은 당신이 결코 부족하거나 궁핍하지 않아야 함을 의미합니다.

오늘의 본문 구절을 다시 읽어보십시오. “그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니…” 하나님께서 무언가를 하셨다고 말씀하신다면 당신은 그것을 믿고 합당하게 행해야 합니다. 예를 들어, 당신은 은행 계좌에 돈을 가지고 있을 것입니다. 당신이 일정 금액을 예금했을 때 은행에서는 당신에게 그 금액이 당신 계좌에 입금되었다는 확인 메시지를 보낼 것입니다. 그리고 당신은 그 사실을 믿을 것입니다. 그 돈을 써야 할 때 당신은 그 돈을 요구하기 위해 “노력”하지 않습니다. 당신은 그 돈이 당신 것이며 사용할 수 있다는 것을 압니다.

하나님의 말씀은 그분께서 당신이 가지고 있다고 말씀하신 것을 당신이 실제로 가지고 있고, 그분께서 말씀하신 당신이 실제 당신이라는 것을 확인하는 메시지라는 것을 알고 있습니까? 하나님의 말씀을 신뢰하고 그에 따라 행동하십시오. 그러면 당신은 더 양질의 삶을 살게 되는 것에 놀라게 될 것입니다. 그분의 말씀은 절대적으로 신뢰할 수 있습니다! 말씀에 대한 당신의 믿음이 삶에서의 확신 곧 당신이 영원히 승리자이자 성공이라는 것에 대한 보장이 되게 하십시오.

기도

TRUST AND ACT ON HIS WORD

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).

In 1 Corinthians 3:21, the Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, corroborates our underlined portion of the verse above; it says, “…all things are yours.”

That’s because all things are in Christ, and Christ is in you. Therefore, things present and things to come are all yours! His divine power?not your own ability or human wisdom?has given unto you ALL things that pertain to life and godliness. This means you’re not supposed to ever be in lack or want.

Read our theme verse again: “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness….” When God says He’s done something, you believe and act accordingly.

For instance, you probably have some money in the bank; when you made the deposit, they probably sent you a confirmatory message that XYZ amount of money had been credited to your account, and you believed it. When you needed to spend it, you didn’t “try” to claim it; you just knew the money was yours and accessible to you.

Did you know that God’s Word to you is the confirmatory message that you have what He says you have, and are who He says you are, and can do what He says you can do? Trust and act on His Word;

you’d be amazed at the quality of life you’d live. His Word is absolutely dependable! Let your confidence in life?your guarantee that you’ll forever be a victor and a success?be on the basis of your faith in the Word.

If, today, you seem to be struggling through life, living as a victim, it’s most likely because you haven’t believed the Word enough. Rather than blame circumstances, the government or other people for your situation, consciously and consistently walk in the light of God’s Word. There’s nothing you could ever need or desire for a godly life that’s not already yours in Christ. The question is, do you know this? If you do, then you have before you a life of endless possibilities:

nothing shall be impossible unto you (Mark 9:23). Put the Word to work in your life, and you’ll always be victorious.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for giving me everything I require to live victoriously and be a success in life.

You’ve called me to glory and virtue, and given me a life of praise, glory and thanksgiving. Thank you for being so gracious and kind, and for your Word that prevails in and through me always, in Jesus’ Name.

The Joy Of The Lord

“느헤미야가 또 그들에게 이르기를 너희는 가서 살진 것을 먹고 단 것을 마시되 준비하지 못한 자에게는 나누어 주라 이 날은 우리 주의 성일이니 근심하지 말라 여호와로 인하여 기뻐하는 것이 너희의 힘이니라 하고”(느 8:10)

우리 하나님은 자애롭고 친절하십니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에 대해 생각해보십시오! 이스라엘 백성들이 하나님께 순종하지 않았기 때문에 근심하며 울었습니다. 그러나 그들이 울며 회개할 때에 주님께서는 그들에게 “가서 기뻐하라. 오늘은 너희가 내 말씀을 듣기 위해 모인 거룩한 날이다. 그러니 슬퍼하지 말라. 주를 기뻐함이 너희의 힘이니라.” 할렐루야!

11절과 12절은 이렇게 말합니다. “레위 사람들도 정숙하게 하여 이르기를 오늘은 성일이니 마땅히 조용하고 근심하지 말라 하니 모든 백성이 곧 가서 먹고 마시며 나누어 주고…”(느 8:11-12). 이것은 먹고 마시는 것에 대한 이야기가 아닙니다. 성경은 말합니다. “하나님의 나라는 먹는 것과 마시는 것이 아니요 오직 성령 안에 있는 의와 평강과 희락이라”(롬 14:17). 중요한 것은 우리로 속죄를 얻게 하신 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 하나님 안에서 갖게 된 기쁨입니다(롬 5:11).

느헤미야 12:43은 그들이 예루살렘 성벽을 짓고 그것을 축하할 때에 관해 말합니다. “이 날에 무리가 큰 제사를 드리고 심히 즐거워하였으니 이는 하나님이 크게 즐거워하게 하셨음이라 부녀와 어린 아이도 즐거워하였으므로 예루살렘이 즐거워하는 소리가 멀리 들렸느니라.” 대단합니다! 베드로전서 1:8은 우리의 기쁨을 “말할 수 없이 영광으로 가득 찬 기쁨”이라고 부릅니다. 그들의 기뻐하는 소리가 멀리까지 들렸습니다! 그들의 기쁨과 즐거움이 넘쳤습니다.

오늘날 세상에서 일어나는 끔찍한 일들과 상관없이 당신은 매일 기쁨으로 가득 찰 수 있습니다. 기쁨을 아낌없이 표현하십시오. 매일 주님의 위대하심, 선하심, 사랑, 은혜, 자비를 이전에 기뻐해본 적 없이 기뻐하십시오. 당신의 삶에 우울할 틈을 주지 마십시오. 기쁨은 재창조된 인간의 영의 열매입니다. 그러므로 항상 기쁨을 당신 안에 풀어놓으십시오. 예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 이것을 너희에게 이름은 내 기쁨이 너희 안에 있어 너희 기쁨을 충만하게 하려 함이라”(요 15:11). 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

고백

주님을 기뻐함이 나의 힘이기 때문에 나는 항상 기뻐하고 찬양이 넘칩니다. 내 기쁨은 환경과 상관없이 내 속사람으로부터 나오며 물리적인 환경을 초월합니다. 나의 기쁨은 영원하며, 이는 나를 강건하고 활기 넘치게 합니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

THE JOY OF THE LORD

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Our God is so gracious and kind; think about what we just read! The children of Israel were in sadness, weeping because they hadn’t quite obeyed God. But while they were weeping and repenting, the Lord said to them, “Go and celebrate, for this day which you’ve assembled to hear my Word is holy; don’t be sorry, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Hallelujah!

The eleventh and twelfth verses say, “So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved. And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions….” Now, it’s not about the eating and the drinking, for the Bible says, “…the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (Romans 14:17). It’s about the joy you have in Him through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we’ve now received the atonement (Romans 5:11).

In Nehemiah 12:43, when they had built the walls of Jerusalem and it was time for them to celebrate, the Bible says, “Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced:

so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.”

Wow! 1 Peter 1:8 calls our joy “indescribable and full of glory.” Their joy was heard afar off! They were exuberant with joy and rejoicing.

In spite of the terrible things happening in the world today, you can be full of joy every day and express it lavishly. Celebrate the Lord?His greatness, goodness, love, grace and mercies?every day, like you’ve never done before. Give no place to gloom in your life. Joy is a fruit of your recreated human spirit;

so, always release it from within you. Jesus said, “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full” (John 15:11). Glory to God!

CONFESSION

I’m ever joyful and exuberant with praise, because the joy of the Lord is my strength. My joy is independent of circumstances; it comes from my inner man and transcends physical circumstances.

My joy is permanent, and it keeps me strong and alive. Glory to God!

The Secret Place Of The Most High

“주여 주는 대대에 우리의 거처가 되셨나이다”(시 90:1)

너무나 많은 문제와 위기가 가득하고 전 세계에 악이 만연한 것처럼 보이는 이 시대에 많은 사람들은 “우리에게 희망이 있는가?”라고 생각하고 있습니다. 그러나 성경을 공부해보면 당신은 폭풍우가 몰아치는 세상에 사는 그분의 백성들을 향한 하나님의 신성한 계획을 이해하게 될 것입니다. 예를 들어, 시편 91:1은 위로가 되며 매우 고무적입니다. “지극히 높으신 분의 은밀한 곳에 거하는 자는 전능하신 분의 그늘 아래 살리로다.”(한글킹제임스)

THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH

Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations (Psalm 90:1).

In this day and age, when there’s so much trouble and crises, with a seemingly overwhelming spread of evil around the world, many are thinking, “Is there hope?” But when you study the Scriptures, you’ll understand God’s divine plan for His children in a tempestuous world. For example, Psalm 91; the first verse is as inspiring as it is comforting. It says, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

Your location in the Spirit is the “secret place of the most high”; that was the best way the psalmist could put it. The second verse (Psalm 91:2) sheds more light on it; it says, “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” That means the Lord Himself is that secret place, because He is your refuge and your fortress. Therefore, that you dwell in the secret place of the most high means you dwell in Him. In the New Testament, that place is called Christ: “…if any man be in Christ…” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Notice the underlined expression, “in Christ,” showing that Christ is a place in God. How could anyone be disadvantaged in Christ? It’s impossible!

In Christ is glory only?always and forever! In Christ is life forevermore; you’re shielded from harm, evil and destruction. No wonder it says in Psalm 91:7 NIV “A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.”

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your glory in my life, for your presence in and around me. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper, because I dwell in the secret place of the most high, and I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The greater One lives in me, and in Him and through Him, I reign and triumph gloriously over Satan and the elements of this world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Travailing In Prayer

하나님의 말씀의 진리를 불순종하고, 완강하고, 성령의 인도를 거슬러 행하는 주님 안에서의 형제자매나 가족이 있다면, 그것은 어리석음의 영이 그들의 마음을 사로잡았기 때문입니다. 그러므로 사도 바울이 했던 것처럼 지금은 그들 안에 그리스도의 형상을 이룰 때까지 다시 해산하는 수고를 해야 할 때입니다.

TRAVAILING IN PRAYER

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you (Galatians 4:19).

In the 3 rd chapter of Paul’s epistle to the Galatian Christians, he calls out their outright repudiation of the message of faith. They had left the simple message of grace in Christ to keeping the Law of Moses in order to be justified. Having learnt that they had accepted the teachings of false teachers, Paul chided them, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth…” (Galatians 3:1).

There’re some like that in the church today; they started well but went on listening to wrong doctrines and were misled. They became argumentative, confrontational, disorderly, rude and unruly in the house of God, and some even stopped fellowship with the church altogether.

When you have a brother or sister in the Lord or a whole family disobeying the truth of God’s Word, obstinate, and walking contrary to the instructions of the Spirit, it’s because the spirit of foolishness has taken over their minds; thus, it’s time to travail in birth again until Christ is formed in them, as Paul the Apostle did.

Why did Paul have to travail in birth again for the Galatians? He travailed in birth previously, by which they came to Christ. He determined to do so again now that they were falling away from the truth. This travail in birth is intercessory prayers that leads to salvation and deliverance of one who’s lost or fallen out of the way.

That’s what you do for such people; you pray again and again, in intercession and fasting?that the Christ-life gains the ascendancy in them, and they be fully yielded to, and established in God’s truth and righteousness.

The words “…travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you” show that the life of Christ wasn’t being manifested in them; they had become worldly, living on the wrong information that was destroying their faith. So, learn to pray fervently in the spirit for new converts and new members in the churches of Christ around the world. Pray that they’ll increase in the knowledge and revelation of Christ, and be established in the faith through the ministry of the Word and the Holy Spirit, fulfilling their purpose and leading others to Christ.

Also, pray for those who may be facing difficult times and persecutions, or wavering in their faith, that they be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man, rooted and grounded in love, pleasing Him in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the blessing and privilege of prayer, and the opportunity to travail in birth until Christ is formed in the hearts of new converts and those who might have strayed from the Faith. Even now, I pray for your children, that your wisdom will guide their hearts and rule their minds to produce works of righteousness for the Kingdom, and that they’re rooted and grounded in love, pleasing you in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Man And His Name

“이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래에 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고”(빌 2:9-10)

사도행전 3장에서 베드로는 날 때부터 불구였던 한 사람을 치유했습니다. 그는 기쁨이 충만하여 베드로와 요한을 껴안고 열광적으로 하나님을 찬양했습니다. 모든 사람들이 그를 알아보았고 그 모습을 보기 위해 솔로몬 행각으로 달려갔습니다. 베드로는 회중들이 그에게 몰려든 것을 보고 그것을 기회 삼아 그리스도를 전했습니다.

사도행전 4장에서 베드로가 한 말은 놀랍도록 심오합니다. 그는 말했습니다. “다른 이로써는 구원을 받을 수 없나니 천하 사람 중에 구원을 받을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이라 하였더라”(행 4:12). 여기에서 베드로가 언급한 이름은 바로 예수입니다! 어떤 사람들은 “예수 이름이 뭐가 그렇게 특별합니까?”라고 물을 수 있습니다. 오늘날 예수라는 이름을 자신의 성이나 이름으로 쓰는 사람들도 있습니다.

중요한 것은 이름의 철자나 발음이 아닙니다. 당신 나라의 대통령과 같은 이름을 가진 사람들이 무수히 많을 수 있지만, 그 중 오직 한 사람만이 그 시기에 당신 나라에 대한 권세와 권위를 가집니다. 남미와 같은 일부 지역에서는 “예수”라는 이름을 가진 사람들이 있습니다. 따라서 그 이름의 철자와 발음은 중요한 것이 아닙니다. 그 이름을 가진 사람의 권세가 중요한 것입니다.

어떤 사람을 그의 이름과 분리시킬 수는 없습니다. 이름이 그 사람을 식별하게 하며 그 사람이 가진 권세가 그의 이름에 부여됩니다. 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 경우, 하늘과 땅과 땅 아래 있는 모든 권세가 그분께 주어졌습니다. 그러므로 당신이 “나는 예수 이름으로 나왔습니다.”라고 말하거나 무엇이든 그분의 이름 안에서 고백한다면 당신은 그분의 권세를 행사하는 것입니다.

성경은 말합니다. “또 무엇을 하든지 말에나 일에나 다 주 예수의 이름으로 하고 그를 힘입어 하나님 아버지께 감사하라”(골 3:17). 예수 이름 안에서 살고 그 이름을 사용하는 법을 배우십시오. 그 이름은 실패, 가난, 질병, 결핍, 어둠을 한 번에 완전히 끝냅니다. 할렐루야!

기도

THE MAN AND HIS NAME

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth (Philippians 2:9-10).

In the 3 rd chapter of the book of Acts, we read that Peter healed a certain man who was crippled from birth. The man, obviously filled with joy, threw his arms around Peter and John, ecstatic with praise to God. All the people who recognized him ran up to where they were at Solomon’s Porch to see for themselves. When Peter saw that he had a congregation, he took the opportunity and preached Christ to them.

In the 4 th chapter, Peter made a statement, the profundity of which is of staggering proportions. He said, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Here, Peter was referring to the Name, Jesus! Some have asked, “What’s so special about the Name, Jesus? There are people who have it as their first or last name today.”

It’s not how a name is spelt or pronounced that matters. There may be a thousand and one other people bearing the same name as the president of your country, but only one of them has the power and the authority over your country at the moment. In some parts of the world, as in South America, there’re some people called “Jesus.” So, the point isn’t how it is spelt or the sound of the name; it’s about the authority of the one bearing the name.

You can’t separate a man from his name. The name identifies the man, and whatever authority that’s given to the man is vested in the name. In the case of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, all authority in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth is given unto Him. So, when you say, “I come in the Name of Jesus” or affirm anything in His Name, you’re invoking His authority.

That’s the only Name in whom all of God’s power is vested. That Name has power and it’ll unlock every door, destroy every sickness, and cause you to walk in unending glory and victories. The one who’s crippled may not be able to walk in his own name, or in the name of the president of his country, but in the Name of Jesus, even maimed limbs are restored. Even now, receive strength into you in the Name of Jesus. If you’ve been sick or afflicted, be made whole; be healed in Jesus’ Name. Right away, rejoice and thank Him for healing you and act accordingly.

The Bible says, “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him” (Colossians 3:17). Learn to live in, and use His Name. That Name ends failure, poverty, sickness, lack and darkness once and for all. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I’m confident to use the Name of Jesus, and live every day in, and by the power of His Name.

I speak in the Name of Jesus, knowing that my words carry the same power and authority as though Jesus Himself were the One speaking. I make demands right now, and declare that all things are brought into subjection unto me. I’m victorious, triumphant, and successful, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Praying For The Sick

“그러면 열여덟 해 동안 사탄에게 매인 바 된 이 아브라함의 딸을 안식일에 이 매임에서 푸는 것이 합당하지 아니하냐”(눅 13:16)

아픈 사람들이 낫기를 기도할 때 유념해야 하는 몇 가지 진리가 있습니다. 그러지 않는다면 당신은 해가 뜰 때부터 질 때까지 아주 미비하거나 아무런 영향력이 없이 기도할 수도 있습니다. 첫 번째로 하나님은 그들이 낫기를 원하신다는 것을 인식하십시오. 하나님은 그 질병에 대한 책임이 없으십니다.

절대 귀신이나 악한 영들을 두려워하지 마십시오. 예수님의 이름은 그 무엇보다도 위대합니다. 우리는 예수님이 하셨듯이 우리의 말로 악한 영들을 쫓아냅니다. 마태복음 10:8, 누가복음 9:2, 누가복음 10:9에서 예수님은 제자들에게 병을 고치라고 명하셨습니다. 예수님은 그들에게 자신이나 아버지께 아픈 자들의 치유를 위해 기도하라고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다. 분명히 우리는 아픈 자들을 고치고 죽어가는 세상에 건강과 기쁨을 주는 예수님의 권세를 가지고 있습니다. 이 일에 대해 담대하십시오. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

고백

PRAYING FOR THE SICK

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? (Luke 13:16).

In praying for the sick to get well, there’re certain truths to be mindful of; otherwise, you may pray from sunup to sundown with little or no impact. First, recognize that God wants them well; He isn’t the one responsible for the sickness. Some believe God uses sickness to carry out His plan or to correct His children;

that’s a lie from the pit of hell. No sickness or disease is from God.

Secondly, does that sick person want to be well?

This would be an important question to answer. Jesus asked certain folks in the Bible who apparently were in distressing health situation the simple question, “What do you want?” So, it’s important the person is willing and ready to get well and that there’s mutual faith.

Thirdly, be in tune with the Spirit. The Holy Spirit can guide you to know whether or not a demon is responsible for that sickness or disease. That way, you’re able to deal with the situation. For example, the woman that was bowed-over in Luke 13, Jesus showed us Satan was responsible for her infirmity. The moment Jesus cast the devil out, the woman was healed.

Never be afraid of demons or evil spirits. The Name of Jesus is greater than all. We cast out evil spirits with words, as Jesus did. In Matthew 10:8, Luke 9:2, Luke 10:9, Jesus charged the disciples to heal the sick, and He didn’t ask them to pray to Him or to the Father to heal the sick. Evidently, we have authority from Jesus to heal the sick and bring health and joy to a dying world. Be bold about it. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

I’ve been given the authority in the Name of Jesus to heal the sick and cast out devils. I’m yielded completely to the Holy Spirit, and I’m filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding in dealing with every situation.

입술의 열매는 우리의 말입니다

“너는 말씀을 가지고 여호와께로 돌아와서 아뢰기를 모든 불의를 제거하시고 선한 바를 받으소서 우리가 수송아지를 대신하여 입술의 열매를 주께 드리리이다”(호 14:2)

베드로전서 2:5은 우리가 산 돌 같이 영적인 집으로 지어지고 예수 그리스도로 인하여 하나님께서 기뻐하실 영적인 제물들을 드리는 거룩한 제사장이 된다고 말합니다. 이러한 제물들은 더 이상 놋 제단 위에 드려지는 수소와 송아지가 아닙니다. 그것은 바로 우리의 입술의 열매입니다. 히브리서 13:15은 말합니다. “그러므로 우리는 예수로 말미암아 항상 찬송의 제사를 하나님께 드리자 이는 그 이름을 증언하는 입술의 열매니라.”

우리 입술의 열매는 오늘의 본문 구절에서 보았듯이 “말씀(말)”입니다. “감사하다”의 그리스어는 “호몰로게오(homologeo)”로, ‘고백하다’라는 뜻입니다. 따라서 우리는 고백해야 합니다. 즉, 그분의 이름에 감사하는 말을 하십시오. 예를 들어 이렇게 고백하십시오. “아버지, 당신은 만유보다 크십니다. 당신은 절대주권적인 하나님이십니다. 당신은 자애롭고 친절하십니다. 당신은 영원히 사랑하시고 언제나 신실하며 참되십니다. 당신은 절대적으로 선하십니다! 당신은 왕 중의 왕, 주 중의 주이십니다. 당신의 사랑과 위대함과 친절에 감사드립니다.”

이렇게 하는 것은 당신의 입술의 열매를 드리는 것입니다. 그분의 위대하심, 능력, 사랑, 친절하심, 선하심을 고백하고, 당신의 삶에서 행하시는 그분의 일과 사역을 고백하는 것입니다. 우리가 올려드리는 말인 이 “입술의 열매”는 구약의 제사장들이 그랬던 것처럼 지속적으로 드려져야 합니다.

성경은 우리에게 제사장들이 해야 했던 일들이 무엇이었는지 알려줍니다. “아침과 저녁마다 서서 여호와께 감사하고 찬송하며 또 안식일과 초하루와 절기에 모든 번제를 여호와께 드리되 그가 명령하신 규례의 정한 수효대로 항상 여호와 앞에 드리며”(대상 23:30-31).

신약 시대에 사는 우리는 자신의 말로 계속해서 영적 제사를 드려야 합니다. 당신은 이 일을 지금도 할 수 있습니다! 감사와 찬양이 가득한 심령으로 하나님이 얼마나 위대하시며 그분의 이름이 얼마나 비길 수 없는지에 대해 고백하십시오. 그분의 위엄에 찬양의 제사를 드리십시오! 그분의 위대하심을 찬송하고 그의 거룩한 이름을 경배하십시오. 그분과 같은 분은 없으며 그분의 왕국과 통치가 영원함을 기억하십시오.

THE FRUIT OF OUR LIPS ARE WORDS

Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips (Hosea 14:2).

1 Peter 2:5 tells us that we’re living stones, built up as a spiritual house-a holy priesthood-to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. These sacrifices are no longer those of bulls and calves offered over the brazen altar; they’re the fruits of our lips. Hebrews 13:15 says, “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”

The fruit of our lips are “words,” as shown in our opening verse. The Greek construction of “giving thanks” is “homologeo?” and it means to make confessions; so, we’re to make confessions; that is, speak words that give thanks to His Name. For example, you say, “Father, you’re greater than all;

you’re the sovereign God; gracious and kind; forever loving, ever faithful and true; absolutely good! The King of kings and the Lord of lords; I thank you for your love, your greatness, and your kindness.”

That’s offering the fruit of your lips; that’s making confessions of His greatness, power, love, kindness, goodness, and of His work and ministry in your life.

These “fruit of our lips” which are words that we offer must be done continually, just like the priests of the Old Testament did.

The Bible tells us what the priests were to do: “… stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even; And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD” (1 Chronicles 23:30-31).

In the New Testament, with our words, we’re required to offer spiritual sacrifices continually. You can practise this even now! With a heart full of thanksgiving and praise, make confessions of how great He is, and how matchless His Name is. Render sacrifices of praise to His majesty! Extol His greatness and worship His holy Name. Remember, there’s none like Him, for His kingdom and reign is everlasting!

PRAYER

Thank you, blessed Father, for your greatness and kindness. You’re the only true and wise God, who reigns and rules in the affairs of men; the One who is the blessed and only Sovereign. To you, Lord, be all glory, honour, majesty, dominion and praise, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Giving Thanks

“범사에 감사하라 이것이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라”(살전 5:18)

그리스도 예수 안에서 당신을 향한 하나님의 뜻은 당신이 범사에 감사하는 것입니다. 감사한다는 것은 무슨 뜻입니까? “감사하는 것”은 축복을 말하는 것입니다. 당신이 복음을 공부해보면, 주 예수님께서 축복들을 말하며 감사하신 여러 예시들을 볼 수 있습니다. 마태복음 26:26은 유다가 배반하기 바로 전 상황입니다. “그들이 먹을 때에 예수께서 떡을 가지사 축복하시고 떼어 제자들에게 주시며 이르시되 받아서 먹으라 이것은 내 몸이니라 하시고.”

또 다른 예시로는 예수님이 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리로 큰 무리를 먹이시기 전에 다음과 같이 하셨습니다. “… 하늘을 우러러 축사하시고 떡을 떼어 제자들에게 주어 사람들에게 나누어 주게 하시고 또 물고기 두 마리도 모든 사람에게 나누시매”(막 6:41). 그분이 떡과 물고기를 가지고 하신 일에 주목하십시오.

마가는 그의 글에서 예수님이 “감사하신” 일에 대해 더 많은 통찰력을 줍니다. “또 잔을 가지사 감사 기도 하시고 그들에게 주시니 다 이를 마시매”(막 14:23). 마가복음 8:6은 이렇게 말합니다. “예수께서 무리를 명하여 땅에 앉게 하시고 떡 일곱 개를 가지사 축사하시고 떼어 제자들에게 주어 나누어 주게 하시니 제자들이 무리에게 나누어 주더라.”

따라서 성경에서 예수님이 떡을 가지고 축복하셨다고 했을 때 실제로 그분이 하신 일은 감사하는 것이었습니다. 그분이 하신 말씀은 감사의 말이었습니다. 축복하는 법을 배우십시오. 그분은 당신을 통해 말씀하신다는 사실을 기억하십시오. 그분은 “축복”하기 위해 즉 상황을 바꾸기 위해, 그리고 다른 사람들을 구출하고 구원하기 위해 당신의 입을 사용하십니다. 그래서 당신의 삶이나 당신 주변에서 무슨 일이 일어나고 있더라도 그분은 그것을 고칠 수 있습니다

히브리서 11:3은 말합니다. “믿음으로 모든 세계가 하나님의 말씀으로 지어진 줄을 우리가 아나니…” 다른 말로 하면, 하나님의 “레마”를 통해, 그분이 당신의 입을 통해 말씀하시고 저주가 있던 곳에 축복을 가져오실 것입니다. 그분은 가난, 실패, 패배 혹은 파괴가 있던 곳에 번영, 성공, 평안 그리고 승리를 주실 것입니다 할렐루야!

다음과 같이 자주 선포하십시오. “아버지, 예수님의 이름으로 감사드립니다. 나는 이 상황에 대해 감사를 드립니다. 이 일이 바로잡아졌기 때문입니다. 이 일은 나의 선을 이루고 있으며 당신의 완전한 뜻이 세워질 것입니다.” 할렐루야! 주님을 “송축”하는 일에도 마찬가지입니다. 당신은 감사를 드리며 주님을 송축합니다. 그 안에 감사가 없다면 그것은 헛된 것입니다.

기도

하늘에 계신 사랑하는 아버지, 나는 모든 일에 축복을 말합니다. 나는 가족에게 축복을 말하고 직업, 재정, 건강, 사역, 그리고 나와 관련된 모든 것에 당신의 번영을 말합니다. 그러므로 내 삶의 모든 분야에 나타나는 당신의 은혜와 능력과 사랑에 감사드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

GIVING THANKS

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

The will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you is that you give thanks in everything. What does it mean to give thanks? To give thanks is to speak blessings. When you study the Gospel, there’re several instances that show us how the Lord Jesus gave thanks by speaking blessings. In Matthew 26:26, just before His betrayal, the Bible says, “…as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.”

On another occasion, before He fed a multitude with five loaves of bread and two pieces of fish, “… he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all”

(Mark 6:41). Notice what He did in both instances with the bread and the fish: He “blessed them.”

Mark, in His writing, gave further insight to what Jesus did: He “gave thanks”: “And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it” (Mark 14:23). Mark 8:6 says: “And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.”

So, when the Bible says that Jesus took bread and blessed it, what He actually did was to give thanks; the words that He spoke were words of thanks. Learn to bless. Remember, God speaks through you; He uses your mouth to “bless”, to change circumstances, to bring deliverance and salvation to others. He uses your mouth to bring correction to issues, such that no matter what’s going on in your life, or around you, He can mend it.

Hebrews 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God….” In other words, through the “rhema” of God, God would bring a blessing where a curse had been intended;

He’ll bring about prosperity, success, peace and victory where poverty, failure, defeat or destruction had been intended. Hallelujah!

Every so often, declare, “Father, I thank you in the Name of Jesus; I offer thanks for, and in this situation, because it is corrected; it is working out for my good, and your perfect will is established.” Hallelujah! Even in “blessing” the Lord, it’s the same thing; you bless Him by giving thanks. Without the “thanks” in it, it would be empty.

PRAYER

Dear heavenly Father, I speak blessings in everything;

I speak blessings over my family, and invoke your prosperity over my job, finances, health, ministry and all that concerns me. I thank you for your grace, power and love that’s manifested in all areas of my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
