Our Blessings Unveiled

“기록된 바 하나님이 자기를 사랑하는 자들을 위하여 예비하신 모든 것은 눈으로 보지 못하고 귀로 듣지 못하고 사람의 마음으로 생각하지도 못하였다 함과 같으니라”(고전 2:9)

오늘의 본문 구절을 읽고 하나님이 우리에게 계시하지 않으신 것들이 있다고 결론짓는 사람들이 있습니다. 그들은 틀렸습니다. “기록된 바 하나님이 자기를 사랑하는 자들을 위하여 예비하신 모든 것은 눈으로 보지 못하고 귀로 듣지 못하고 사람의 마음으로 생각하지도 못하였다 함과 같으니라”고 할 때, 그분은 구약을 인용하신 것입니다.

그 다음 구절은 말씀이 성취되었음을 보여줍니다. “오직 하나님이 성령으로 이것을 우리에게 보이셨으니 성령은 모든 것 곧 하나님의 깊은 것까지도 통달하시느니라.” 12절에서는 이것을 “하나님께서 우리에게 은혜로 주신 것들”이라고 말합니다. 성령님은 당신에게 은혜로 주어진 것들을 보여주기 위해서 오셨습니다. 그것이 무엇입니까?

고린도전서 3:21은 말합니다. “그런즉 누구든지 사람을 자랑하지 말라 만물이 다 너희 것임이라.” 다른 말로 하면, 육신을 자랑하지 말라는 것입니다. “제 부모님 혹은 삼촌이 이런저런 기업의 사장 혹은 이사입니다. 그분들은 제가 재정적으로 튼튼하게 설 수 있도록 도와주실 것입니다.”라고 말하지 마십시오. 만물이 당신 것이므로 사람에게 기대하지 마십시오!

다음 구절은 이렇게 말합니다. “바울이나 아볼로나 게바나 세계나 생명이나 사망이나 지금 것이나 장래 것이나 다 너희의 것이요”(고전 3:22). 지금 것과 심지어 장래 것이 모두 예수 그리스도 안에서 당신에게 주어졌습니다. 성령님은 당신이 이것을 알고 말씀을 사용해서 삶에 적용하도록 돕기 위해 보냄 받으셨습니다.

이 진리를 앎으로 결핍이나 필요 의식을 가지지 마십시오. 하나님이 당신에게 주시지 않은 것 중에 당신이 더 필요로 하는 것은 없습니다. “그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 이를 앎으로 말미암음이라”(벧후 1:3). 그분은 당신에게 만물을 주셨고 당신을 수치와 고통이 아닌 영광과 덕으로 부르셨습니다.

당신이 필요한 모든 것 즉 돈, 아이디어, 인적 자원, 물질적 자원, 그 무엇이든지 그리스도 예수 안에서 당신에게 주어졌습니다. 당신은 의와 영광의 특별한 삶을 살기 위해 필요한 모든 것을 가지고 있습니다. 하나님의 생명 안에서 살고 탁월하기 위해 필요한 모든 것을 소유하고 있습니다. 그리스도가 당신 안에 계시며, 그분이 모든 것 되십니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

고백

OUR BLESSINGS UNVEILED

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (1 Corinthians 2:9).

There’re those who read the verse above and conclude that there’re things God hasn’t revealed to us. But they are wrong. When it says,

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him,” he’s quoting the Old Testament.

The next verse shows us the fulfillment: “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God” (1 Corinthians 2:10). The twelfth verse refers to them as “the things that are freely given to us of God.” The Holy Spirit came to show you the things that are freely given to you. What are these things?

1 Corinthians 3:21 tells us: “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours.” In other words, don’t glory in the flesh; don’t say, “My parents or my uncle is the owner or director of such and such organization; they’re going to help me stand strong financially.” Let your expectations not be in men, for all things are yours!

The next verse says, “Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours” (1

Corinthians 3:22). Things present and even things in the future: They’re all granted you in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit was sent into your life so that you’d know these things, and then you’d use words to appropriate them in your life.

Knowing this therefore, have no consciousness of lack or need. There’s nothing you require that God hasn’t already granted you: “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3).

He granted you all things and called you to glory and virtue; not to shame and suffering.

All that you require?whether money, ideas, human and material resources?have been granted you in Christ Jesus. You have everything required for an extraordinary life of righteousness and glory; everything that’s necessary for you to live and excel in the God-life.

Christ is in you, and Christ is everything. Glory to God!

Seeing Visions In Prayer

“… 내가 내 영을 모든 육체에 부어 주리니 너희의 자녀들은 예언할 것이요 너희의 젊은이들은 환상을 보고 너희의 늙은이들은 꿈을 꾸리라”(행 2:16-17)

하나님은 우리가 기도할 때 우리에게 비전을 보여주기를 좋아하십니다. 만일 당신이 삶에서 놀라운 결과를 보기 원한다면 하나님의 영이 당신에게 주시는 비전을 붙잡는 법을 배워야 합니다. 저는 기도할 때 봅니다. 신성한 비전을 봅니다. 저는 이 세상 위로 들어올려져서 하나님으로부터 아이디어를 얻고 삶에 대한 방향성을 얻습니다.

어떤 사람들은 기도할 때 비전을 보지 못합니다. 비전이 없다는 것은 정체되어 있는 것입니다. 그러나 하나님으로부터 받은 건전한 아이디어 하나가 당신의 삶을 영원히 바꿀 수 있습니다. 이런 일은 당신이 세상을 차단시키고 성령님과 교제할 때 일어납니다. 그러면 그분은 당신에게 미래를 보여주시며, 당신이 다음에 행해야 할 중요한 일과 그 일을 하는 방법을 알도록 도우십니다.

당신이 하나님의 말씀에 자신을 내어드리고 기도 가운데 성령님의 인도하심에 순종한다면, 그분은 당신에게 장래 일을 보이시고 당신이 어둠 가운데 살지 않게 하실 것입니다. 예수님은 요한복음 16:13에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “그러나 진리의 성령이 오시면 그가 너희를 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하시리니 그가 스스로 말하지 않고 오직 들은 것을 말하며 장래 일을 너희에게 알리시리라.”

거듭나서 성령 충만을 받았다면 자신의 장래 일을 알 수 있습니다. 당신은 다음에 무슨 일을 해야 할지 모르는 상황에 있어서는 안 됩니다. 주님은 요한복음 8:12에서 “나는 세상의 빛이니 나를 따르는 자는 어둠에 다니지 아니하고 생명의 빛을 얻으리라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 이 진리를 안다면 당신은 내일에 대해 걱정할 필요가 없습니다. 당신은 그분의 빛을 가지고 당신의 미래를 설정할 수 있습니다. 그러면 당신의 길은 당신을 향한 그분의 완전한 뜻을 알고 그 안에 살도록 밝혀질 것입니다. 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 기도의 특권과 내가 그리스도 안에서 누구인지에 대한 바른 비전을 볼 수 있는 능력을 주심에 감사드립니다. 내 길을 무한한 가능성으로 밝혀져 있습니다. 나는 그리스도 안에서 의롭고, 거룩하고, 완전하며 그분의 사랑을 받는 나 자신을 봅니다. 내가 당신의 영광의 광채이자 운반자이며 당신의 은혜, 자비, 선하심, 구원을 나의 세상에 전하는 자임을 알게 된 것이 얼마나 큰 축복인지요! 할렐루야!

SEEING VISIONS IN PRAYER

…I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions… (Acts 2:17).

God loves to show us visions when we pray.

If you’re going to have extraordinary results in life, it’s important that you learn to catch the visions that the Spirit of God brings to you. When I pray, I see;

I relate with divine visions; I’m lifted above this world;

I receive ideas from God and get directions for life.

Some people don’t see visions when they pray.

To be visionless is to be stagnated. But one sound idea from God can transform your life forever. This happens as you shut out the world and fellowship with the Holy Spirit in prayer. Then He shows you the future and helps you know the next vital step to take, and how to take it.

As you give yourself to the Word of God and yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit in prayer, He’d show you things to come, such that you don’t walk in darkness. Jesus said in John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

Being born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, you can know something of your future. You should never find yourself in a situation where you don’t know what to do next in your life. In John 8:12, the Master said, “…I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Knowing this, you don’t have to worry about tomorrow; you can take His light and set it into your future, and your path will be illuminated to know and walk in His perfect will for you. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of prayer, and the ability to see the right vision of who I am in Christ.

My path is illuminated with endless possibilities. I see that I’m righteous, holy and perfected in Christ, and beloved of Him. What a blessing it is to see that I’m the carrier, as well as the effulgence of your glory, and the dispenser of your grace, mercies, goodness and salvation to my world. Hallelujah!

A Lesson In Forgiveness

“비판하지 말라 그리하면 너희가 비판을 받지 않을 것이요 정죄하지 말라 그리하면 너희가 정죄를 받지 않을 것이요 용서하라 그리하면 너희가 용서를 받을 것이요”(눅 6:37)

요한복음 7-8장은 서기관들과 바리새인들이 한 여성을 예수님 앞으로 데리고 온 장면을 보여줍니다. 성경은 그 여성이 간음하던 중에 잡혀왔다고 말합니다. 성령님은 요한을 통해 우리에게 서기관들과 바리새인들이 예수님을 함정에 빠뜨려서 그분을 고소할 구실을 얻으려 했다고 구체적으로 알려주십니다(요 8:6).

그러나 그들에 대한 주님의 대답은 “너희 중에 죄 없는 자가 먼저 돌로 치라”(요 8:7)였습니다. 그들은 그 말을 듣고 언짢아하며 모두 돌아갔습니다. 그곳에는 예수님과 그 여성만 남았습니다. 그 여성을 고소하던 자들이 떠난 후에도 예수님은 그녀를 비난하거나 정죄하지 않으셨습니다. 오히려 그분은 그녀에게 “가서 다시는 죄를 범하지 말라”(요 8:11)고 하셨습니다. 얼마나 감동적이고 위로가 되는 말씀입니까! 그분의 행동은 매우 자애롭습니다. 또한 그분이 체포되신 후 베드로가 그분을 부인했던 것을 생각해보십시오. 베드로는 사도라 불릴 만한 사람이 아니었으므로 다른 사람들의 기억에서 지워져야 했습니다. 그러나 예수님은 그러지 않으셨습니다!

예수님이 부활하신 후 제자들에게 세 번째로 나타나셨을 때, 그분은 베드로를 회복시키셨습니다. 그분은 베드로에게 “네가 나를 사랑하느냐?”고 세 번 물으셨습니다. 베드로의 긍정의 답변에 그분은 “내 양을 먹이라”(요 21:15-18)고 말씀하셨습니다. 15절과 16절에서 “먹이다”로 번역된 그리스어 단어들은 같은 단어가 아닙니다. 15절에 사용된 단어는 그리스어 “보스코(bosko)”에서 유래한 것으로 양을 먹이고 돌보는 것을 의미합니다.

그러나 예수님이 같은 단어를 16절에서 반복하여 말씀하셨을 때 그분은 다른 그리스어 단어인 “포이마이노(poimaino)”를 사용하셨고, 이는 보살피고 통치하는 것을 의미합니다. 예수님은 “베드로야, 정말 실망스럽구나. 나와 함께 그 모든 기적을 보고, 끝까지 나를 따르겠다며 호언장담 해놓고 나를 부인했더구나. 앞으로 내가 너를 어떻게 믿겠느냐?”고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다. 그분은 베드로의 잘못을 생각하지 않으셨습니다.

오, 주님의 사랑이 주는 감동은 대단합니다! 주님이 보여주신 위대한 본에 감동받은 베드로가 베드로전서 2:21-25에서 다음과 같은 아름다운 글을 쓴 것은 놀랍지 않습니다. “이를 위하여 너희가 부르심을 받았으니 그리스도도 너희를 위하여 고난을 받으사 너희에게 본을 끼쳐 그 자취를 따라오게 하려 하셨느니라 그는 죄를 범하지 아니하시고 그 입에 거짓도 없으시며 욕을 당하시되 맞대어 욕하지 아니하시고 고난을 당하시되 위협하지 아니하시고 오직 공의로 심판하시는 이에게 부탁하시며 친히 나무에 달려 그 몸으로 우리 죄를 담당하셨으니 이는 우리로 죄에 대하여 죽고 의에 대하여 살게 하려 하심이라 그가 채찍에 맞음으로 너희는 나음을 얻었나니 너희가 전에는 양과 같이 길을 잃었더니 이제는 너희 영혼의 목자와 감독 되신 이에게 돌아왔느니라.”

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 나는 성경에 기록된 당신의 사랑의 용서의 행위에 감동을 받습니다. 나는 사랑 가운데 다른 사람들과 관계하면서 내 안에 있는 당신의 본성이 강물처럼 흐르게 합니다. 나는 항상 사랑하는 마음을 유지하고, 다른 사람들과 지속적으로 기쁨을 누립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

A LESSON IN FORGIVENESS

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven (Luke 6:37).

In John 7-8, the Bible tells us of how the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman before Jesus. She was said to have been caught in the very act of adultery. The Spirit, through John, specifically tells us they were trying to trap Him into saying something incriminating so they could bring charges against him (John 8:6).

However, the Master’s response to them was, “… He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her” (John 8:7). When they heard it, they all went away, disgruntled, leaving Him alone with the woman. When the woman’s accusers left, Jesus neither lashed out on her nor condemned her. Rather, He said to her, “…go, and sin no more” (John 8:11).

How inspiring and comforting! His actions were ever so gracious. Also, consider when Peter denied Him after His arrest. To others, Peter should have been written off, not worthy to be called an apostle; but not with Jesus!

The third time He appeared to the disciples after His resurrection, He reinstated Peter. He asked Peter three times, “Do you love me?” to Peter’s affirmative responses, Jesus said, “Feed my sheep” (John 21:15-18). The Greek word translated “feed” in verses 15 and 16 aren’t the same. The first “feed” in verse 15 is “bosk?” and it means to feed and keep the lambs.

But when Jesus repeated it in verse 16, He used a different Greek word “poimain?” which means to tend or to govern the sheep. Jesus didn’t say, “Peter, you’re such a disappointment; after all the miracles you saw with me and all your bragging that you’d follow me till the end, you still denied me. How can I even trust you, going forward?” No; He didn’t take Peter’s error to account.

O, the inspiration of the Master’s love! No wonder the same Peter, inspired by the Master’s great example, penned those beautiful words in 1 Peter 2:21-25: “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.”

PRAYER

Dear Father, I’m inspired by your loving acts of forgiveness as shown in the Scriptures. I let your essence within me flow out like a stream, as I relate with others in love. I maintain a loving heart all the time and continually enjoy the pleasantness in other people, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

예수님이 보여주신 본으로 고무되십시오

Be Inspired By His Example

“그러므로 사랑을 받는 자녀 같이 너희는 하나님을 본받는 자가 되고”(엡 5:1)

예수님의 삶과 가르침을 샅샅이 탐구하여 그분이 하신 일, 그분이 하신 말씀, 그분이 행하신 기적, 그분이 변화시킨 사람들을 공부해본다면 당신은 그분이 보여주신 본으로 인해 고무될 것입니다. 그 누구도 예수님처럼 말한 적이 없습니다. 그분이 하신 말씀은 그분의 믿음과 소망과 사랑을 나타냈을 뿐 아니라, 듣는 이들에게도 그것들이 똑같이 전달되었습니다.

예수님은 요한복음 10:30에서 “나와 아버지는 하나이니라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 또 그분은 “나는 위에서 났으며… 나는 이 세상에 속하지 아니하였느니라”(요 8:23)고 말씀하셨습니다. 예수님이 이 땅에 사실 때, 대제사장들과 바리새인들은 그분의 영향력이 커지는 것을 걱정하여 그분을 체포하기 위해 경비병들을 보내기로 결정했습니다(요 7:32). 그러나 경비병들은 예수님을 체포하지 않은 채 돌아갔습니다. 그러자 그들은 경비병들에게 왜 예수님을 데리고 오지 않았는지 물었고, 경비병들은 다음과 같은 흥미로운 대답을 했습니다. “지금까지 이 사람처럼 말하는 사람은 없었습니다.”(요 7:46, 현대인)

그분이 어떻게 말씀하셨고, 어떻게 기적을 일으키셨는지 생각해보십시오. 예수님은 밤새도록 수고했지만 고기를 잡지 못한 베드로와 그의 동료들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “… 깊은 데로 가서 그물을 내려 고기를 잡으라”(눅 5:4). 그들이 그물을 던지자 고기가 너무 많이 잡혀서 그것들을 다시 육지로 가져오는데 어려움을 겪을 정도였습니다. 그분의 말씀으로 인한 기적이 얼마나 놀랍습니까!

성경은 그분이 어떻게 말씀으로 어린 소년의 점심 도시락을 가지고 수많은 군중을 먹이셨는지 기록하고 있습니다. 그분은 빵 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리에 배가의 능력을 적용하셨고, 그 음식은 5천 명을 먹이기에 충분한 양이 되었습니다(눅 9:12-17). 그 5천 명에는 여성들과 어린이들이 포함되지 않았습니다.

누가복음 7:11-17에서는 어떻게 그분이 이미 죽어서 관에 안치되어 옮겨지고 있던 죽은 사람(과부의 외아들)을 말씀으로 살리셨는지 나옵니다. 죽고 장사된 지 이미 나흘이 되어 썩어가던 나사로는 어떻습니까? 예수님은 나사로의 무덤 바로 앞에서 말씀하셨고, 나사로는 다시 살아났습니다. 정말 놀랍습니다! (요한복음 11장에 나오는 이야기 전체를 읽어보십시오.)

바로 이분이 우리가 섬기는 예수님입니다. 그분은 그 누구와도 다르게 말씀하셨고, 절망적인 상황을 바꾸셨습니다. 예수님처럼 말하십시오. 그분은 “나는 아버지의 말씀을 말한다”고 하셨습니다. 그러므로 당신도 그분과 같이 아버지로부터 온 말씀을 말하십시오. 그리스도의 말씀을 말하십시오. 할렐루야!

고백

나는 생명, 치유, 힘, 승리의 말을 합니다. 나의 말은 회복하고, 치유하고, 세우고, 축복합니다. 내 안에서 그리고 나를 통해 내 세상에 하나님의 사랑, 친절, 은혜, 지혜, 영광이 나타납니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BE INSPIRED BY HIS EXAMPLE

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children (Ephesians 5:1).

When you explore every aspect of Jesus’ life and teachings and study what He did, the words He spoke, the miracles He performed and the lives He changed, you’d be inspired by His example.

Nobody ever talked like Jesus. Not only did His words demonstrate His faith, hope and love, they also imparted same to His hearers.

In John 10:30, He said, “I and my Father are one.”

On another occasion, He said, “…I am from above…I am not of this world” (John 8:23). No wonder, when He walked the earth, the High Priests and Pharisees were so concerned about His rising influence that they decided to send officers to arrest Him (John 7:32), but they returned without Him. And when they were queried, their response was such an intriguing one. They said, “…Have you heard the way he talks?

We’ve never heard anyone speak like this man” (John 7:46 MSG).

Think about how He spoke words and great miracles ensued. He told Peter and His colleagues who had toiled all night and caught no fish, “…Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught”

(Luke 5:4). When they cast their net, they had a great haul of fish, such that they experienced great difficulty bringing it to the shore. What a miracle wrought by His words!

The Bible records how He fed the multitude with a little boy’s lunch by speaking words; He invoked the power of multiplication on five loaves of bread and two pieces of fish and they became more than enough to feed five thousand men, women and children not counted (Luke 9:12-17).

We read in Luke 7:11-17 how He spoke words and brought a dead man (a widow’s only son) back to life who was already being carried to the place of interment. How about Lazarus who was dead, buried for four days and decomposing? Jesus, right in front of Lazarus’ tomb, spoke words and Lazarus came back to life. Amazing! (Read the entire account in John 11).

This is the Jesus that we serve; He used words like no one else and changed hopeless situations. Talk like Jesus. He said, “I speak the words of my Father.”

So, like Him, speak words from the Father; speak the words of Christ. Hallelujah!

Focused And Consistent

“두 마음을 품어 모든 일에 정함이 없는 자로다”(약 1:8)

만일 당신이 부름 받은 영원히 성공적이고 지속적으로 승리하는 삶을 살고 싶다면, 반드시 집중하고 일관성을 유지해야 합니다. 예를 들어 당신이 믿음의 고백을 할 때 연약함, 두려움, 실패, 가난, 질병을 말하면서 동시에 힘, 용기, 승리, 번영, 건강, 완전함을 말할 수 없습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “샘이 한 구멍으로 어찌 단 물과 쓴 물을 내겠느냐”(약 3:11). 그런 고백은 역사하지 않습니다.

확대번역본에서는 오늘의 본문 구절을 이렇게 말합니다. “… 두 마음을 지닌(주저하는, 의심하는, 결단력이 없는) 사람은 모든 것에 [그가 생각하고, 느끼고, 결정하는 것에] 불안정하고, 신뢰할 수 없고, 불확실하다.”(AMPC)

많은 사람들이 삶은 “오르락내리락” 하는 것이라고 믿습니다. 이는 일관성이 없고, 신뢰할 수 없으며, 불확실한 삶을 뜻합니다. 그런 삶은 그리스도인을 위한 삶이 아닙니다. 우리는 위로, 앞으로만 갑니다. 우리는 집중을 방해하는 것들을 허용하지 않습니다. 당신이 나아갈 방향을 정하십시오. 무언가가 당신을 이쪽 혹은 저쪽으로 당기려고 하든지 상관없습니다. 당신의 초점을 하나님의 말씀에 두십시오. “… 우로나 좌로나 치우치지 말라 그리하면 어디로 가든지 형통하리니”(수 1:7). 하나님을 찬양합니다!

성경은 말씀합니다. “믿음의 주요 또 온전하게 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자…”(히 12:2) 당신의 초점을 맞추고 목표를 향해 나아가십시오. 그분의 기쁘신 뜻을 행하기 위해 당신 안에서 역사하고 계신 위대한 영광의 하나님께서 반드시 당신이 성공하고 당신의 삶을 향한 그분의 운명을 성취하도록 하실 것입니다. 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내 영에 믿음을 불러일으키고 나의 신성한 부르심을 성취하는 일 가운데 내가 당신의 말씀에 초점을 맞추고, 집중하고, 일관성을 유지하도록 돕는 당신의 말씀에 감사드립니다. 날마다 승리하도록 인도받기 위해 당신에 대한 나의 확신은 꾸준하고, 확고하고, 단호하고, 위축되지 않습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

FOCUSED AND CONSISTENT

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8).

If you want to be perpetually successful, living the ever-victorious life you’ve been called to live, you have to be focused and consistent. In your confessions of faith, for example, you can’t talk strength, courage, victory, prosperity, health and wholeness, and at the same time speak weakness, fear, failure, poverty and sickness. The Bible says, “Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?” (James 3:11). That’s not going to work.

Our theme verse in the Amplified Version says, “…a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].” That means in his way of prosperity, he’ll be unstable; on his road of greatness, he’ll be unstable as well.

There’re lots of people who believe in a life that’s “up and down”; by that I mean an inconsistent, unreliable and uncertain life. That’s not for the Christian; we go upward and forward only. We allow no distractions. Set your sail. It doesn’t matter what tries to pull you this way or that way; make the Word of God your focus: “…Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go” (Joshua 1:7 AMPC). Praise God!

The Bible says, “Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith…” (Hebrews 12:2 AMPC). Set your focus and go for the goal; and the great God of glory, who’s at work in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure, will see to it that you’re a success and you fulfill His destiny for your life. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your Word that inspires faith in my spirit and helps me maintain focus, attention and consistency on your Word in fulfilling my divine call. I remain steady, firm, resolved and unflinching in my confidence in you to guide me victoriously through life, every day, in Jesus’ Name.

Jesus Is The Real Power

“자녀들은 혈과 육에 속하였으매 그도 또한 같은 모양으로 혈과 육을 함께 지니심은 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 잡은 자 곧 마귀를 멸하시며”(히 2:14)

오늘의 본문 구절에 나오는 “멸하다”라는 단어는 그리스어 “카탈게오(katargeo)”에서 유래한 것으로 ‘쓸모없게 하다’라는 뜻입니다. 사탄은 아무것도 아닌 존재가 되었습니다. 그와 지옥의 무리들은 무력하게 되었습니다. 골로새서 2:15은 말합니다. “[그분께 대적했던] 통치자들과 권세들을 무력화하여…” 예수님은 통치자들과 권세들을 무력화하셨습니다. 할렐루야!

필립스 신약성경은 다음과 같이 말합니다. “그러고 나서 우리를 대적하는 모든 세력의 가시를 뽑고, 그분의 마지막 영광스러운 개선 행진에서 그들을 드러내고, 산산조각 내고, 무의미하게 하고, 패배시키셨습니다!” 그분은 그들을 드러내셨습니다. 그들의 옷을 벗기고 모든 갑옷 즉 가치 있는 모든 것을 제거하셨습니다! 하나님을 송축합니다!

사탄은 변하지 않았으며 오늘날도 같은 상태입니다. 그는 무장해제 되었고, 진압되었고, 산산조각 났고, 드러났고, 패배했습니다! 오늘 우리가 다루고 있는 마귀는 짓밟히고 폐위되었습니다. 고린도전서 2:6은 “이 세상에서 멸망해버릴 통치자들”(쉬운성경)에 대해 말합니다. 그들은 이 세상을 다스리는 것처럼 보이지만 영적 영역에서는 폐위되었습니다. 오늘날 이 세상의 진정한 권세는 예수의 이름입니다!

이제 당신은 왜 사도들이 두려움 없이 담대하게 예수 이름을 사용했는지 이해할 수 있을 것입니다. 그들이 어떤 박해를 받는지는 중요하지 않았습니다. 그들은 실제로 어떤 권세가 역사하고 있는지 알았기 때문에 담대했습니다. 그들은 진정한 권세이신 예수 그리스도가 그들을 보호하심을 알고 있었습니다!

우리 시대에도 마찬가지입니다. 우리는 그분을 통해 담대하고 확신에 차 있습니다. 우리는 그분의 이름 안에서 세상을 다스리고 사탄과 그의 귀신들을 우리에게 복종시킵니다. 예수님은 요한복음 16:33에서 “기운을 내라! 내가 세상을 이겼다.”고 말씀하셨습니다. 그분이 승리하셨을 때 우리는 그분 안에 있었습니다. 우리는 사탄과 세상과 그 시스템을 이겼습니다.

예수 이름에 모든 권세가 있습니다. 하나님은 하늘에 있는 것이나 땅에 있는 것이나 땅 아래에 있는 것이나 모든 무릎을 예수 이름에 꿇게 하셨습니다. 그리고 모든 혀가 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨습니다(빌 2:10-11). 그 무엇도, 그 누구도 예수 이름에 대적할 수 없습니다. 따라서, 크리스마스를 축하하며 우리는 열방에 그분의 승리, 영광, 권세, 다스림을 선포합니다. 온 세상이 그분께 속했습니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

고백

예수님은 열방의 주님이십니다. 온 세상이 생명과 불멸을 가져오시고 사탄과 음부와 흑암의 권세들을 부수고, 산산조각 내고, 패배시키신 예수님께 속했습니다. 예수님의 이름이 열방에 알려지고 그분의 의가 이 땅과 사람들의 심령을 다스립니다. 아멘.

JESUS IS THE REAL POWER

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil (Hebrews 2:14).

The word “destroy” in the verse above is from the Greek “katarge?”, and it means “to bring to nought.” That means Satan has been brought to nothing; he was made powerless?he and his cohorts of hell. Colossians 2:15 (Conybeare) says, “He DISARMED the Principalities and the Powers [which fought against Him….” The principalities and powers have been disarmed by Jesus. Hallelujah!

The Phillips New Testament puts it thus: “And then having drawn the sting of all the powers ranged against us, He exposed them, shattered, empty and defeated, in His final glorious triumphant act!” He exposed them; He got them stripped and took away from them all of their armour?everything of value!

Blessed be God!

That hasn’t changed; they’re in that condition till today: Disarmed! Crushed! Shattered! Exposed and defeated! The devil we’re dealing with today is crushed and dethroned. 1 Corinthians 2:6 talks about “…the dethroned Powers who rule this world” (Moffatt translation). In the spirit, they’re dethroned even though they seem to rule this world; the real power in the world today is the Name of Jesus!

Now you can understand why the apostles, in their day, were fearless and used the Name of Jesus fearlessly. It didn’t matter the persecution they faced;

they were dauntless because they knew what power was really in office. They knew they were backed by the real power?Jesus Christ!

It’s the same in our day. We’re bold and confident in, and through Him. In His Name, we tame this world and keep Satan and his demons in subjection to us.

In John 16:33 WEB, Jesus said, “…Cheer up! I’ve overcome the world”; when He did it, we were in Him. We overcame Satan, the world and its systems.

His Name has all authority. God has decreed that at His Name, every knee should bow?things and beings in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. And that every tongue should confess His Lordship, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11). Nothing and no one can stand against that Name. Thus, in celebrating Christmas, we’re proclaiming His victory, glory, power and dominion over the nations. The whole world belongs to Him. Blessed be God!

CONFESSION

Jesus is Lord over the nations; the whole world belongs to Him who brought life and immortality to light, having crushed, shattered and defeated Satan and the principalities of hell and darkness. The Name of Jesus is named upon the nations, and His righteousness reigns in the earth and in the hearts of men. Amen!

Jesus Of Nazareth – The Only True God

“우리가 주는 하나님의 거룩하신 자이신 줄 믿고 알았사옵나이다”(요 6:69)

예수님이 갈릴리, 가버나움, 예루살렘의 거리를 다니실 때 사람들은 그분이 어떤 분이신지에 대해 별 관심을 기울이지 않았습니다. 오늘은 예수님의 탄생을 기념하는 크리스마스입니다. 어떤 사람들은 그분이 동정녀에게서 태어났다고만 알고 있고, 또 어떤 이들은 그분을 이스라엘을 빛낸 가장 위대한 기적을 행한 사람 중 하나로 생각합니다. 그러나 그분의 삶은 기적 그 이상이었습니다.

예수님이 이 땅에 사셨을 때 그분은 육신을 입은 하나님이셨습니다. 모든 신성이 그분 안에 있었습니다. 그분은 전능하신 하나님의 살아있는 몸이었습니다. 그분은 인간의 몸 안에서 걷고 말하는 살아계신 하나님이셨습니다. 골로새서 1:19은 그분에 대해 이렇게 말합니다. “이는 모든 신성의 충만함(신성의 완전함, 능력, 속성의 총합)이 그의 안에 거하는 것이 아버지를 기쁘게 하였음이며”(AMPC)

예수님은 우리에게 나타난 하나님의 사랑이십니다. 그분은 자기를 참소하는 자들을 포함한 모든 사람들을 조건 없이 사랑하심으로써 우리에게 좋은 본을 보이셨습니다. 그분은 우리를 사랑하셔서 자신의 생명을 우리의 죄를 위한 희생제물로 바치셨습니다. “그러므로 사랑을 받는 자녀 같이 너희는 하나님을 본받는 자가 되고 그리스도께서 너희를 사랑하신 것 같이 너희도 사랑 가운데서 행하라 그는 우리를 위하여 자신을 버리사 향기로운 제물과 희생제물로 하나님께 드리셨느니라”(엡 5:1-2).

로마서 5:8은 말합니다. “우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로 하나님께서 우리에 대한 자기의 사랑을 확증하셨느니라.” 이는 어느 종교 지도자의 성품이나 사역이 아닙니다. 역사상 그 누구도 예수님처럼 사랑하거나 사랑할 수 없었습니다. 모든 사람이 그분을 통해 믿을 수 있게 하기 위해 그분은 하나님의 빛이셨고, 침례 요한은 그 빛을 보았습니다. 요한복음 1:9은 예수님에 대해 이렇게 말합니다. “참 빛 곧 세상에 와서 각 사람에게 비추는 빛이 있었나니.” 정말 놀라운 실재입니다!

그분이 하늘과 땅에서 찬미와 존경과 흠모를 받으시는 것은 당연합니다. 그분은 심지어 음부에서도 가장 큰 영광을 받으셨습니다. 그분은 인간을 구원하실 수 있는 유일한 분이시며, 구원을 받은 모든 사람이 신성한 생명을 가지게 하는 유일한 분이십니다. 나사렛 예수는 참되고 유일한 하나님이십니다!

고백

복되신 예수님, 당신은 위대하고 영광스러운 분이십니다. 당신은 세상의 구원자이시며, 하늘의 기쁨이시고, 모든 인류의 소망이십니다! 나에게 영원한 생명을 주시니 감사합니다. 나를 살아있는 하나님의 집으로 삼으시고, 당신의 영광과 의를 내 안에서 그리고 나를 통해 모든 곳에서 나타내시니 감사합니다. 당신은 지혜롭고 참된 유일한 하나님이십니다. 당신의 이름은 영원히 찬양과 경배를 받습니다. 아멘.

JESUS OF NAZARETH? THE ONLY TRUE GOD

And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God (John 6:69).

When Jesus walked the streets of Galilee, Capernaum, Jerusalem, many didn’t quite give attention to who He really was. Today is Christmas?the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Yet, the most that some know about Him is that He was born of a virgin, while others see Him as one of the greatest miracle workers to ever grace Israel. But His life was more than miraculous.

When Jesus walked the earth, He was God in the flesh; all of divinity was tabernacled in Him. He was the living body of the Almighty God. He was God alive, walking and talking in a man’s body. Read what Colossians 1:19 AMPC says about Him: “For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him permanently.”

This should help you understand John’s statement in John 1:14: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Jesus was the glory of God manifested to us

Hebrews 1:3 AMPC says, “He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power….”

Jesus is the love of God manifested to us. He showed us a good example by loving everyone unconditionally, including His accusers. He loved and offered His life for us as a sacrifice for our sins: “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour” (Ephesians 5:1-2).

Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” These aren’t the attributes or works of a religious leader. No one in history loves, or could ever love like Jesus. He was God’s light, of whom John the Baptist bore witness, so that all men through Him might believe. John 1:9 says of Jesus: “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” Amazing reality!

No wonder He’s celebrated, honoured and adored in heaven and in the earth. He has the greatest honour even in hell. He’s the greatest of all. The only one who could save man to the uttermost, and make the divine life available and possible for all men to receive: Jesus of Nazareth?the only true God!

CONFESSION

Blessed Jesus, how great and glorious you are!

Saviour of the world, joy of heaven and hope of all mankind! Thank you for giving me eternal life; thank you for making me the living house of the living God, manifesting your glory and righteousness in, and through me everywhere. You’re the only wise and true God; your Name be praised and adored now and forever. Amen.

Ambassadors Of Good News

“우리가 하나님과 함께 일하는 자로서 너희를 권하노니 하나님의 은혜를 헛되이 받지 말라 이르시되 내가 은혜 베풀 때에 너에게 듣고 구원의 날에 너를 도왔다 하셨으니 보라 지금은 은혜 받을 만한 때요 보라 지금은 구원의 날이로다”(고후 6:1-2)

우리는 구원의 날에 살고 있습니다. 구원의 날은 하나님의 진노하심이 아닌 하나님의 은혜의 날입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “모든 사람에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 은혜가 나타나 우리를 양육하시되 경건하지 않은 것과 이 세상 정욕을 다 버리고 신중함과 의로움과 경건함으로 이 세상에 살고 복스러운 소망과 우리의 크신 하나님 구주 예수 그리스도의 영광이 나타나게 하셨으니”(딛 2:11-13).

이 세상의 끝이 가까워지므로 우리는 신중하게 살고, 모든 사람에게 경고하고, 모든 사람을 지혜로 가르쳐서 그들이 그리스도 안에서 완전한 사람으로 세워지도록 해야 합니다(골 1:28). 그분은 모든 사람이 구원을 받으며 진리를 아는 데에 이르기를 원하십니다(딤전 2:4).

그래서 그분은 구원의 좋은 소식 즉 복음을 전하도록 우리를 보내셨습니다. 오늘은 복음의 날입니다. 그리고 “복음”은 좋은 소식이라는 뜻입니다! 우리는 좋은 소식의 대사들입니다. “곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며 그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고 화목하게 하는 말씀을 우리에게 부탁하셨느니라 그러므로 우리가 그리스도를 대신하여 사신이 되어 하나님이 우리를 통하여 너희를 권면하시는 것 같이 그리스도를 대신하여 간청하노니 너희는 하나님과 화목하라”(고후 5:19-20).

마태복음 9:37-38에서 예수님은 제자들에게 “추수할 것은 많되 일꾼이 적으니 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여 추수할 일꾼들을 보내 주소서 하라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 우리는 그분의 추수의 일꾼이자, 그분의 구원하는 능력에 대한 메시지를 가지고 보냄 받은 그분의 증인입니다. 우리는 그분의 은혜의 복음을 전하는 자입니다.

이 크리스마스 시즌에 어디든 복음을 가지고 가십시오. 담대하게 복음을 전하십시오. 그러면 그분께서 당신의 말을 표적과 기사와 기적들로 확증하실 것입니다. 기억하십시오. 예수님은 “이 천국 복음이 모든 민족에게 증언되기 위하여 온 세상에 전파되리니 그제야 끝이 오리라”(마 24:14)고 말씀하셨습니다.

복음은 믿는 모든 사람을 구원에 이르게 하는 하나님의 능력입니다. 죄인을 의롭게 하고 인간을 하나님과 교제할 수 있게 하는 하나님의 능력입니다. 그리스도의 구원의 복음을 전하는 자가 되어 사람들이 예수님을 알게 하고, 그들을 어둠에서 빛으로 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌이키게 하는 일은 영광스러운 일입니다.

고백

사랑하는 아버지, 인류를 위한 그리스도의 영광스러운 구원의 복음을 전하는 자가 되어 영광입니다! 이 마지막 때에 당신의 진리가 온 땅에 전파되고 당신의 왕국이 사람들의 심령에 굳게 세워집니다. 많은 사람들이 멸망과 저주에서 하나님의 아들의 영광스러운 자유 안으로 옮겨집니다. 당신의 이름을 영원히 송축합니다. 아멘.

AMBASSADORS OF GOOD NEWS

We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee:

behold, now is the accepted time;

behold, now is the day of salvation) (2 Corinthians 6:1-2).

We’re living in the day of salvation; the day of God’s grace, not His wrath. The Bible says, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:11-13).

As we approach the end of this present world, we’re to live circumspectly, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present them perfect in Christ Jesus (Colossians 1:28).

He wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).

That’s why He sent us to preach the Good News of salvation; to preach the Gospel. This is the day of the Gospel, and “Gospel” means good news! We’re ambassadors of Good News: “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:19-20).

In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus said to His disciples, “…

The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” We’re His labourers for the harvest, His witnesses, sent with the message of His saving power. We’re the bearers of the Gospel of His grace.

Take the message everywhere this Yuletide.

Preach it boldly, and He’ll confirm your words with signs, wonders and miracles. Remember, Jesus said,

“…this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14).

This Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes. It’s the power of God to make sinners righteous, to bring men into fellowship with God. What an honour it is to be the bearer of the Good News of Christ’s salvation, helping people discover Jesus, and turning them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God.

CONFESSION

Dear Father, it’s such an honour to be the bearer of the Good News of Christ’s glorious salvation to mankind! Your truth is proclaimed in all the earth in these last days, and your Kingdom is established in the hearts of men. Many are snatched from destruction and damnation, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Blessed be your Name forever.

His Life In You

“내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 사는 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 자신을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라”(갈 2:20)

당신은 자신 안에 있는 그리스도의 생명으로 인해 얼마나 고무됩니까? 자신 안에 있는 그리스도의 생명이 얼마나 숭고한 것인지 깨닫는 사람은 많지 않습니다. 그러나 이것은 하나님의 꿈이었고 그리스도의 대속사역의 목적이었습니다. 그분은 우리를 하나님의 자녀로 삼고, 우리가 하나님 안에 살고, 그분의 생명을 우리의 영에 주시려고 오셨습니다. 따라서 지금도 그분은 말씀과 성령으로 말미암아 당신 안에 사십니다.

골로새서 3:16은 “그리스도의 말씀이 너희 속에 풍성히 거하여 모든 지혜로…”라고 말합니다. 당신이 받은 말씀은 당신 안에 거합니다. 그렇다면 그분은 당신 안에서 어떤 일을 하십니까? 사도행전 20:32이 이에 대한 아이디어를 줍니다. “지금 내가 여러분을 주와 및 그 은혜의 말씀에 부탁하노니 그 말씀이 여러분을 능히 든든히 세우사…” 당신 안에 있는 그분의 은혜의 말씀은 그 자체만으로 당신을 세우기에 효과적입니다. 곧 당신이 실패하거나, 파괴되거나, 패배할 수 없음을 의미합니다.

말씀으로 말미암아 당신 안에 있는 그분의 생명은 특별하며 당신이 하나님 안에서 모든 일과 분야에 대해 성장하게 합니다. 에베소서 4:14-15은 말합니다. “이는 우리가 이제부터 어린 아이가 되지 아니하여 사람의 속임수와 간사한 유혹에 빠져 온갖 교훈의 풍조에 밀려 요동하지 않게 하려 함이라 오직 사랑 안에서 참된 것을 하여 범사에 그에게까지 자랄지라 그는 머리니 곧 그리스도라.”

요한복음 14:23은 이렇게 말합니다. “… 사람이 나를 사랑하면 내 말을 지키리니 내 아버지께서 그를 사랑하실 것이요 우리가 그에게 가서 거처를 그와 함께 하리라.” 따라서 아버지와 예수님은 성령으로 말미암아 당신 안에 사십니다. 그분은 성령의 능력으로 당신 안에 살아 계십니다. 그러므로 당신은 혼자가 아닙니다!

당신이 이 세상 어디에 있든지 상관없습니다. 아버지와 예수님이 당신 안에서 그리고 당신을 통해 특별하고, 상상할 수 없고, 예상할 수 없는 일들을 성취하기 위해 당신 안에서 역사하신다는 것을 인식하고 의식하십시오. 에베소서 3:20-21은 말합니다. “우리 가운데서 역사하시는 능력대로 우리가 구하거나 생각하는 모든 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실 이에게 교회 안에서와 그리스도 예수 안에서 영광이 대대로 영원무궁하기를 원하노라 아멘.”

골로새서 1:27은 “하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 얼마나 풍성한지를 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”고 말합니다. 당신은 평범한 사람이 아닙니다. 당신이 내딛는 모든 발걸음은 “당신 안에 계신 그리스도”가 걷는 것입니다. “너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”는 구절은 당신이 어디를 가든지 당신 안에는 영광이 있다는 의미입니다. 당신의 삶은 영광으로 가득 차 있습니다. 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 성령님이 내 안에 거하신다는 것이 얼마나 큰 영광이며 축복인지요. 나는 그분의 내주하심과 임재로 인해 당신의 뜻을 행하고 상황을 뛰어넘어 승리하는 삶을 사는 신성한 힘과 초자연적인 지혜를 받았습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HIS LIFE IN YOU

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:

and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20).

How inspired are you about the life of Christ in you? Not many realize how sublime this is.

Christ in you is everything; that was God’s dream and the purpose of Christ’s redemptive work. He came to make us sons of God, to make it possible for us to be indwelt by God and have His life imparted to our spirits. So, today, He lives in you by His Word and His Spirit.

Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom….” The Word you’ve received dwells in you; and what does He do in you? Acts 20:32 gives us an idea; it says, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up….” The Word of His grace in you is effective in itself and by itself to build you up! And if His Word builds you up, it means you can’t fail, be destroyed, or be defeated.

His life in you by the Word is extraordinary; it causes you to grow up in God, in all things and in all areas. Ephesians 4:14-15 says, “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.”

Then, John 14:23 tells us, “…If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” So, the Father and Jesus live in you by the Holy Ghost; He’s alive in you by the power of the Holy Ghost; so, you aren’t alone!

It makes no difference where you are in this world;

be conscious and aware that the Father and Jesus are at work in you?to achieve in and through you the extraordinary, the unthinkable, and the unexpected.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 3:20-21, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”

Colossians 1:27 tells us, “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” You’re not an ordinary person;

every step you take is a “Christ-in-you” person walking.

“Christ in you, the hope of glory” means there’s glory in you everywhere you go; your life is full of glory.

PRAYER

Dear Father, what an honour and blessing it is to have the Holy Spirit live in me. By virtue of His ever-indwelling and abiding presence, I’m infused with divine energy and supernatural wisdom to do your will and live triumphantly over and above circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Excited About His Return

“이러므로 너희는 장차 올 이 모든 일을 능히 피하고 인자 앞에 서도록 항상 기도하며 깨어 있으라 하시니라”(눅 21:36)

예수 그리스도는 다시 오십니다. 데살로니가전서 4:16-17은 우리에게 그분의 놀라운 재림에 대한 상세한 계시를 줍니다. “주께서 호령과 천사장의 소리와 하나님의 나팔 소리로 친히 하늘로부터 강림하시리니 그리스도 안에서 죽은 자들이 먼저 일어나고 그 후에 우리 살아 남은 자들도 그들과 함께 구름 속으로 끌어 올려 공중에서 주를 영접하게 하시리니 그리하여 우리가 항상 주와 함께 있으리라.”

저는 언젠가 주님께서 호령하시며 나타나실 모습을 생각하는 것만으로도 영감을 받습니다. 주님을 위해 외치는 일은 다른 사람이 아니라 주님께서 직접 하실 것입니다! 어떤 사람들은 우리가 그분의 재림에 대해 너무 많이 말한다고 하지만, 이는 그들이 예수님이 어떤 분이신지 모르기 때문입니다. 그분은 우주를 다스리는 분이십니다. 모든 나라와 은하계를 포함한 온 땅이 그분께 속했습니다. 그분은 세상을 다스리십니다.

그분은 이 땅에 계실 때 제자들과 함께 다니셨습니다. 그분이 예루살렘에 입성하실 때는 어떠셨습니까? 성경은 “… 온 성이 소동하여 이르되 이는 누구냐 하거늘”(마 21:10)이라고 말합니다. 사방에서 사람들이 나오고 거리에 줄지어 있었습니다. 이 모든 일은 그분이 희생당한 어린 양이었을 때 일어났습니다. 그렇다면 그분이 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로 오실 때는 무슨 일이 일어나겠습니까?

새 하늘과 새 땅에서 영감을 받으십시오. 요한계시록 22:5은 말합니다. “다시 밤이 없겠고 등불과 햇빛이 쓸 데 없으니 이는 주 하나님이 그들에게 비치심이라 그들이 세세토록 왕 노릇 하리로다.” 얼마나 영광스러운 일입니까! 우리는 교묘하게 꾸며낸 이야기를 따르지 않습니다(벧후 1:16). 우리는 진리를 받았습니다. 우리는 그분의 진리를 믿고 그분의 진리 안에 삽니다.

우리가 주님을 위해 하는 일, 즉 복음을 전하고 전 세계 영혼들을 구원하는 일은 결코 헛된 일이 아닙니다. 우리는 그분의 재림을 준비하고 있습니다. 그분은 다시 오실 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다. 따라서 우리는 모두에게 말하고 있는 것입니다. 지금은 마지막 날의 마지막 순간입니다. 시간이 얼마 남지 않았습니다. 그러므로 우리는 그분의 비전을 성취하고 그분의 재림을 위해 세상을 준비시킬 것입니다. 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 주님, 나는 곧 있을 당신의 재림에 영감을 받습니다. 그러므로 나는 긴박함과 열정을 가지고 속도를 내어 내 세상에 있는 사람들에게 복음을 전합니다. 나는 지금 당신을 알지 못하는 사람들을 위해 기도합니다. 그들의 마음이 복음에 열리고 그들 안에 구원을 위한 믿음이 역사하기를 기도합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

EXCITED ABOUT HIS RETURN

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man (Luke 21:36).

Jesus Christ is coming again. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 gives us a graphic revelation of His amazing return. It says, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

He rules the world.

While on earth, He often went with a multitude of disciples. How about when He entered Jerusalem?

The Bible says, “…all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?” (Matthew 21:10). People came out from

everywhere and lined the streets. All these happened when He was the lamb to be sacrificed. What do you think will happen now that He’s coming as the King of kings and Lord of lords!

Be inspired by the new heaven and the new earth; Revelation 22:5 says, “And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.” How glorious! We haven’t followed cunningly devised fables (2 Peter 1:16); we’ve received truth; we’ve trusted in His truth and lived in His truth.

What we’re doing for the Lord, reaching out with the Gospel and winning souls around the world, aren’t for nothing; we’re preparing for His return. He told us He’ll be back; so, we’re telling everybody. These are the final moments of the last days; the time left is so short. Therefore, we’ll fulfill His vision and prepare the world for His return. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Lord, I’m inspired by your soon return;

therefore, with speed, fervency and urgency, I preach the Gospel to those in my world. I pray now for those who haven’t known you, for their hearts to be open to the Gospel, with faith stirred in them for their salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
