항상 기쁨으로 가득합니다
Always Full Of Joy
“지금까지는 너희가 내 이름으로 아무것도 구하지 아니하였으나 구하라 그리하면 받으리니 너희 기쁨이 충만하리라”(요 16:24)
오늘의 본문 구절은 아버지의 마음과 우리를 향한 그분의 소망을 알려줍니다. 하나님은 당신이 항상 기쁨으로 가득하길 원하십니다! 이는 하나님의 왕국에서 기뻐하는 것이 매우 중요하기 때문입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “기뻐하고 즐거운 마음은 몸과 영혼에 치유를 가져오나…”(잠 17:22, 더패션성경)
그러므로 당신 주변에서 어떤 일이 일어나건, 당신이 무엇을 직면하고 있건, 그와 상관없이 기쁨을 발산하십시오. 더없이 기뻐하십시오. 여기서 아름다운 부분은 우리의 기쁨이 성령으로부터 시작되기 때문에 상황과 무관하다는 것입니다. “하나님의 나라는 먹는 것과 마시는 것이 아니요 오직 성령 안에 있는 의와 평강과 희락이라.”(롬 14:17)
우리는 역경과 박해를 마주하고 있어도 기쁨으로 충만합니다. “내 형제들아 너희가 여러 가지 시험을 당하거든 온전히 기쁘게 여기라.”(약 1:2) 즉, 당신의 삶에서 좌절에게 내줄 틈이 없다는 뜻입니다. 당신은 분노, 슬픔, 비통함에 틈을 내어주지 않습니다. 당신을 통해서는 오직 주님의 기쁨만이 표현되고 나타납니다. 다른 사람들이 당신을 볼 때, 그들은 기쁨을 봅니다. 그들은 말로 표현할 수 없는 기쁨과 충만한 영광을 봅니다.
성경은 이스라엘 자손들이 예루살렘의 성벽을 재건하며 큰 제물을 바치고 기뻐할 때에 그들의 기쁨이 멀리 들렸다고 말합니다. “이날에 무리가 큰 제사를 드리고 심히 즐거워하였으니 이는 하나님이 크게 즐거워하게 하셨음이라 부녀와 어린아이도 즐거워하였으므로 예루살렘이 즐거워하는 소리가 멀리 들렸느니라.”(느 12:43)
그들의 기쁨이 멀리까지 들렸습니다! 이는 또한 우리에게 기쁨이 표현된다는 사실을 알려줍니다. 웃음은 기쁨의 표현입니다. 하나님을 경배하는 것, 곧 그분을 찬양하며 기뻐하고 활기찬 것 또한 기쁨의 표현입니다.
당신의 삶에서 우울함에 틈을 내어주지 마십시오. 오늘날 세상에서 일어나는 끔찍한 일들과 상관없이 날마다 기쁨으로 충만하십시오. 기쁨은 당신의 재창조된 인간의 영의 열매 중 하나입니다(갈 5:22). 그러므로 기쁨과 즐거움을 당신의 안으로부터 바깥으로 내보내십시오.
고백
주님을 기뻐하는 것이 나의 힘이므로 나는 찬양으로 활기차게 살아가며 말로 표현할 수 없는 기쁨과 충만한 영광을 표현합니다. 나의 기쁨은 상황과 상관없을 뿐 아니라 속사람으로부터 시작되어 물리적인 환경을 초월합니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

ALWAYS FULL OF JOY
“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full”(John 16:24).
Our opening scripture reveals the heart of the Father and His desire for us: He wants your joy to be full always! That’s because being joyful is very important in the Kingdom of God. The Bible says “A joyful, cheerful heart brings healing to both body and soul…” (Proverbs 17:22 TPT).
Therefore, it makes no difference what happens around you, the situations you face, exude joy; rejoice evermore. The beautiful part is that our joy is of the Holy Spirit, and therefore, independent of circumstances: “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (Romans 14:17).
We’re full of joy even in the face of adversities and persecution: “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations” (James 1:2). That means no room for frustration in your life; no room for anger, sadness, or bitterness. Only the joy of the Lord is expressed and manifested through you. When others see you, they see joy; joy unspeakable and full of glory.
The Bible tells us about the children of Israel that their joy was heard afar off as they offered great sacrifices and rejoiced after rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem: “Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.”
Their joy was heard afar off! That tells us joy has expressions. Laughter is an expression of joy. Praising God—being exultant and exuberant with praise to Him—is an expression of joy. Singing songs of praise in thanksgiving is an expression of joy.
Give no place to gloom in your life. In spite of the terrible things happening in the world today, be full of joy every day. Joy is one of the products of your recreated human spirit (Galatians 5:22). Therefore, generate and release joy and excitement from inside you—always.
CONFESSION
I’m exuberant with praise, expressing joy unspeakable and full of glory, because the joy of the Lord is my strength. My joy is independent of circumstances; it comes from my inner man and transcends physical circumstances. Glory to God!
