진리가 우리 안에 거합니다
The Truth Dwells In Us
“우리 안에 거하여 영원히 우리와 함께 할 진리로 말미암음이로다”(요이 1:2)
요한은 대부분의 사람들과 다른 방식으로 예수님을 발견했습니다. 그는 하나님의 말씀에 관한 특별한 점을 발견했습니다. 그는 복음서를 통해 그 점을 우리에게 공유했습니다. “말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매 우리가 그의 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라”(요 1:14)
요한은 예수님께서 “내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라”(요 14:6)고 말씀하시며 사람들을 가르치실 때 그곳에 있었기 때문에 이 점에 대해 이해할 수 있었습니다. 요한은 예수님께서 “내가 진리다”라고 말씀하시는 것을 들었습니다. 그래서 예수님께서 아버지께 “아버지의 말씀은 진리니이다”고 기도할 때, 이 모든 내용을 하나로 정리할 수 있었습니다. 말씀은 진리이고, 그 진리가 육신이 되셨습니다.
예수님은 인간, 선지자, 선생님 그 이상이셨습니다. 예수님은 하나님의 진리이자 육신 안에 계신 하나님이셨습니다. 진리란 무엇입니까? 진리는 실재입니다. 절대적인 실재입니다. 모든 것은 사라지지만 하나님의 진리는 우리 안에 있고 영원히 우리와 함께 있습니다(요이 1:2).
일단 이 실재가 당신의 심령에 자리잡으면 당신이 소유하지 못할 것이 없고, 하지 못할 일이 없다는 것을 깨닫게 됩니다. 진리, 즉 진리의 말씀이 당신을 포함한 모든 것을 창조했고, 그 진리가 당신 안에 거하기 때문입니다. “그가 그 피조물 중에 우리로 한 첫 열매가 되게 하시려고 자기의 뜻을 따라 진리의 말씀으로 우리를 낳으셨느니라”(약 1:18) 하나님께 영광 드립니다!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 아버지의 말씀에 감사드립니다. 아버지의 말씀은 진리입니다. 나는 진리 안에서 행합니다. 나는 진리와 하나이기 때문입니다. 아버지의 말씀은 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 번영, 신성한 건강, 승리, 다스림, 영광스러운 삶을 보장해주십니다. 내가 아버지의 진리 안에서 행하며 의 안에서 세워질 때, 나는 영광에서 영광으로 발전합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE TRUTH DWELLS IN US
“For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever” (2 John 1:2)
John discovered Jesus in a way that most others never did. He saw something about the Word of God that was unique. He alone shares with us in his gospel writing, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).
John understood it because he was there when Jesus was taught, and said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). He heard Jesus say, “I am the truth.” And so, when Jesus, in His prayer to the Father, said, “…thy word is truth” (John 17:17), John was able to put it together: The Word is Truth, and the Truth became flesh.
Jesus was more than a man, more than a prophet, and more than a Rabbi; He was God’s Truth—God in the flesh. What is truth? Truth is reality—absolute reality. Everything else fades away, but the Truth of God dwells in us, and shall be with us forever (2 John 1:2).
Once this reality settles in your heart, you’ll realize there’s nothing you can’t have and nothing you can’t do, because the Truth dwells in you, and this Truth—the Word of Truth—created everything, including you: “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures” (James 1:18). Glory to God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your Word. Your Word is truth, and I walk in truth, because I’m one with the truth. Your Word confirms my prosperity, divine health, victory, dominion and glorious life in Christ. I make progress from glory to glory as I walk in your truth, established in righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
