Be Conscious Of The Spirit

“만일 우리가 성령으로 살면 또한 성령으로 행할지니”(갈 5:25)

자연적 세계보다 더 위대한 영적 세계가 있습니다. 자연적(물리적) 세계는 영적 세계의 한 영역이거나 일부입니다. 성경은 하나님은 영이시며 그분이 모든 것을 창조하셨다고 말합니다. 이 말은 하나님께서 만드신 모든 것은 영적 세계와 연관이 있다는 의미입니다. 하나님으로부터 분리될 수 있는 것은 아무것도 없습니다. 그러므로 인간이 영적 존재임에도 불구하고 하나님은 자연적인 인간을 위해 영의 영역 안에 한 영역을 창조하셨습니다.

하나님은 영적 세계 안에 있는 자연적 세계에서 살아가는 인간에게 육신을 주셨습니다. 그러므로 이 땅은 하나님의 영역과 분리되어 있지 않습니다. 기억하십시오. 창세기 1:2은 하나님의 영이 수면 위에 운행하셨다고 말합니다. 하나님의 영은 혼돈 위에서 품으셨고, 이는 이 땅이 하나님의 영과 닿아 있으며 영향력 아래서 성령에 의해 다스려졌다는 의미입니다. 많은 사람들이 이것을 알지 못하고 그 중요성을 깨닫지 못하기 때문에 그들의 삶을 이 땅의 자연적 영역으로 제한합니다. 그들은 영적 세계에 더 위대한 일들이 있다는 것을 깨닫지 못합니다.

성경은 거듭난 우리 모두에게 성령 안에서 행하라고 말합니다. 어떻게 하면 성령 안에서 행할 수 있습니까? 하나님의 말씀의 빛 가운데 행하는 것이며 왕국의 원리를 따라 행하는 것입니다. 당신은 이 세상보다 위대한 하늘의 영역에서 태어나 살아가고 있다는 것을 인식하십시오. 이러한 의식이 당신을 이 자연적인 세상의 폭풍과 실패와 좌절과 어둠과 부패들보다 위에 있게 할 것입니다.

삶은 영적인 것이며 우리는 이 두 세계에서 살아가고 있습니다. 그러나 많은 사람들이 매일 자연적 세계만을 의식하며 살아갑니다. 그래서 그들은 고통을 겪고 불치병의 피해자가 되기도 합니다. 그들은 영으로부터 삶을 통제할 수 없기 때문입니다. 성경은 당신이 이 세상에 있지만, 이 세상으로부터 나지 않았다고 말합니다. 당신은 하늘에서 온 그리스도를 따라 태어났기 때문에 하늘의 형상을 지니고 있습니다. 당신은 하나님의 사랑의 아들의 왕국에서 났습니다. 할렐루야! 그리고 그 왕국에서 우리는 신성한 원리로 살아갑니다. 우리가 싸우는 전략과 무기는 이 땅에서 나지 않았습니다(고후 10:4). 우리는 의를 통해 은혜로 다스리며 말씀으로 승리합니다. 할렐루야!

나의 이해의 눈은 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 신성한 능력을 인식하고 내가 속한 하늘의 영적 실재들을 이해하도록 밝아졌습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!

BE CONSCIOUS OF THE SPIRIT

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:25).

There’s a spirit world that’s greater than this physical world. The physical world is a region or part of the spirit world. The Bible says God is a Spirit, and He created all things; meaning that there’s a spirit connection to everything that God made. Nothing is detached from Him. In the realm of the spirit, He created a region for the physical man, even though man himself is a spirit being.

God gave man a physical body to live in, while in the physical region of His spiritual world. The earth isn’t a separate entity from God’s realm. Remember, in Genesis 1:2, the Bible says the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The Spirit of God incubated over the chaotic mass, which means the earth was within the coverage or reach of the Spirit, and governed by the Spirit. Many, because they don’t realise this, and because they haven’t understood the importance of it, limit their lives to the earthly region of this world. They don’t realise that there’s a greater play in the spirit world.

For every one of us that’s born again, the Bible tells us to walk in the Spirit. How do you walk in the Spirit? It’s walking in the light of God’s Word; walking according to Kingdom principles. Become conscious that you live in, and are from another realm, a heavenly realm that’s greater than this world. That consciousness will put you over the elements, failures, frustrations, darkness and corruption in this physical world.

Life is spiritual, and we live in two worlds. But most people, every day, are only conscious of the physical realm. This is why many go through pain and affliction; victims of incurable diseases, because they’re unable to control life from the spirit. The Bible says you’re in the world, but not of the world. You’re born after Christ, the man from heaven; you bear the image of the heavenly.

You’re from the Kingdom of God’s Love Son. Hallelujah! And in that Kingdom, we play by divine principles; the strategies and weapons of our warfare are not of this world (2 Corinthians 10:4). We reign by grace through righteousness, and we prevail with, and through the Word. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
The eyes of my understanding are enlightened to recognise my divine abilities in Christ, and to comprehend and apprehend the spiritual realities of the heavenly Kingdom to which I belong, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“모든 것 위에 믿음의 방패를 가지고 이로써 능히 악한 자의 모든 불화살을 소멸하고”(엡 6:16)

악한 자의 불화살 중 하나는 두려움입니다. 그러므로 하나님의 자녀로서 당신은 어떤 상황에서도 두려움에 굴복해서는 안됩니다. 두려움의 영이 당신에게 화살을 쏠 때 이렇게 반응하십시오. “안돼! 나는 하나님의 자녀이다! 나는 두려워하기를 거절한다!” 잠언 3:25은 말합니다. “너는 갑작스러운 두려움도 악인에게 닥치는 멸망도 두려워하지 말라” 마귀나 사람이나 상황이나 결핍이나 필요로 인해 두려워하는 것을 거절하십시오.

당신에게 두려움을 불러일으키는 일이나 상황이 발생한다면 말씀을 선포하십시오. 당신을 붙잡는 것이 결핍에 대한 두려움이라면 담대하게 선포하십시오. “주님이 나의 목자이시므로 나는 부족함을 거절한다! 나는 그분의 영원하고 변함없는 공급에 연결되어 있다.” 당신은 그리스도 안에서 당신의 담대함을 고백해야 합니다. 예를 들어 당신이 어두운 외딴 곳에 있을 때에 어떤 이상한 소리를 듣더라도 요동하지 마십시오. 오히려 “나는 사망의 음침한 골짜기를 지날지라도 해를 두려워하지 않는다. 내 안에 계신 분이 세상에 있는 자보다 크시기 때문이다!”라고 선포하십시오.

당신이 그렇게 할 때 사탄은 사실 당신을 두려워하기 때문에 겁을 먹고 도망칠 것입니다. 그러므로 사탄이 당신 쪽으로 화살을 던진다면 당신의 믿음 충만한 고백들로 그것을 무력화하십시오. 하나님의 말씀에 대해 담대해지십시오. 하나님이 당신에 대해 말씀하신 것을 담대하게 선언하십시오. 자주 이렇게 선포하십시오. “나는 언제나 성공 그 자체이다. 나는 영원히 신성한 건강 가운데 산다. 나는 두려워하기를 거절한다.” 이런 선포는 당신이 이 세상에서 나지 않았다는 것을 보여주는 구별된 선언입니다.

디모데후서 1:7은 말합니다. “하나님이 우리에게 주신 것은 두려워하는 마음이 아니요 오직 능력과 사랑과 절제하는 마음이니” 그러므로 대적이 당신을 위협하기 위해 어떤 무기를 사용하려고 하든지 중요하지 않습니다. 당신의 태도를 바꾸지 마십시오! 말씀 안에서 당신의 태도를 유지하십시오!

고백
나는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 은혜 안에서 강건하기 때문에 두려워하기를 거절합니다! 두려움은 나에 대한 권세를 잃어버렸습니다. 내 안에 계신 분이 세상에 있는 자보다 더 크시기 때문입니다! 하나님의 말씀이 내 영과 혼과 육을 통해 그리고 그 안에서 온전히 다스리고 표현됩니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

STAND YOUR GROUND IN THE WORD

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (Ephesians 6:16).

One of the fiery darts of the wicked is fear.
Therefore, as a child of God, under no circumstances are you supposed to yield to fear. When the spirit of fear throws a dart at you, respond and say, “No! I’m a child of God! I refuse to fear!” Proverbs 3:25 says, “Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.” Refuse to be intimidated by devils, men, circumstances, lack or want.

When things happen or circumstances arise that tend to stir fear against you, affirm the Word. If it’s the fear of lack that’s trying to get a hold of you, declare boldly, “The Lord is my Shepherd; I refuse to lack!
I’m plugged to His eternal and unfailing supply.” You have to confess your boldness in Christ. If, for instance, you’re in a dark or lonely place and you hear some strange sound, be unmoved; rather, declare, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil: for greater is He that’s in me, than he that’s in the world!”

When you make that declaration, the devil will chicken out, because the truth is, he’s afraid of you. So, when he throws his darts in your direction, neutralize them with your faith-filled confessions. Be bold about the Word of God. Be bold to affirm what God has said about you. Every so often, declare boldly, “I’ll always be a success. I’ll forever walk in divine health. I refuse to fear.” Such declarations are statements of distinction, showing that you’re not of this world.

2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” It makes no difference what the enemy tries to use to intimidate you; refuse to budge! Stand your ground in the Word!

CONFESSION
I refuse to be intimidated in this life, for I’m strong in the grace that’s in Christ Jesus. Fear has lost its power over me, for greater is He that’s in me, than he that’s in the world. The Word of God has taken full possession and expression in, and through my
spirit, my soul and my body. Blessed be God!

천국은 약속이 아닙니다
Heaven Is Not a Promise

“우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있으므로 우리가 그 곳으로부터 오실 구주이신 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리고 있으니”(빌 3:20, 한글킹제임스)

우리가 하나님의 말씀 안에 있는 모든 약속이 새로운 피조물인 우리 안에서 이미 성취되었다고 말할 때 이렇게 질문하는 사람들이 있습니다. “그렇다면 천국은요? 우리에게 약속된 것이 아닌가요?” 천국은 약속이 아닙니다. 왜냐하면 우리가 그곳에서 태어났기 때문입니다. “그러나 너희가 이른 곳은 시온 산과 살아 계신 하나님의 도성인 하늘의 예루살렘과 천만 천사와 하늘에 기록된 장자들의 모임과 교회와…”(히 12:22-23)

오늘의 본문 구절을 다시 읽어보십시오. “우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있으므로”라고 말합니다. “우리는 천국의 시민이 될 것이다”라고 말하고 있지 않습니다. 우리는 지금 실제로 천국의 시민입니다. 예수님의 말씀을 기억하십시오. 그분이 유대인에게 “나는 위로부터 왔다”고 말씀하셨을 때, 예수님은 자신의 근원이 하늘이라는 것을 의미하셨습니다. 그분은 이 세상에서 살아가는 우리에 대해서도 “너희는 이 세상에서 나지 않았다”고 말씀하셨습니다. 그리스도인은 다른 두 세상에서 동시에 살고 있기 때문입니다.

이런 식으로 보십시오. 어쩌면 당신은 영국에 사는 미국 시민권자일 수도 있습니다. 당신이 미국에 살고 있지 않다고 해서 당신의 미국 시민권이 무효화되거나 미래의 약속이 되지는 않습니다. 그러므로 당신이 이 땅에 있다고 해서 당신의 천국 시민권이 보장하는 축복과 권리와 특권을 누리지 못하는 것이 아닙니다.

성경에 따르면 천국은 우리의 집입니다. 천국은 지금 우리에게 속했습니다. 우리는 그곳에서 태어났고, 지금 그곳에서 살고 있습니다. 시편 87:4-5은 이에 대해 말하고 있습니다. “나는 라합과 바벨론이 나를 아는 자 중에 있다 말하리라 보라 블레셋과 두로와 구스여 이것들도 거기서 났다 하리로다 시온에 대하여 말하기를 이 사람, 저 사람이 거기서 났다고 말하리니 지존자가 친히 시온을 세우리라 하는도다” 이 구절을 공부해보면, 당신은 그분이 시온에서 태어난 새로운 피조물을 말씀하고 계시다는 것을 알 수 있습니다. 히브리서 12:22에 따르면 시온은 하늘의 예루살렘입니다.

새로운 탄생으로 우리는 하나님의 사랑의 아들의 왕국으로 옮겨졌습니다(골 1:13). 이것은 약속이 아니라 이미 성취된 일입니다. 그 왕국은 하늘의 왕국이며 하늘로부터 다스려지는 곳입니다. 할렐루야!

고백

HEAVEN IS NOT A PROMISE

We, however, are citizens of heaven, and we eagerly wait for our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, to come from heaven (Philippians 3:20 GNB).

When we say every promise in the Word of God has already been fulfilled in us the new creation, there’re those who ask, “What about heaven?
Isn’t that promised us?” Heaven isn’t a promise, because we were born there: “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven…” (Hebrews 12:22-23).

Also, read again our opening verse: it says, “We are citizens of heaven,” not “We shall be citizens of heaven.” You’re a bona fide citizen of heaven NOW. Recall the words of Jesus in John 8:23; He said to the Jews, “I’m from above”; referring to His heavenly origin. Then concerning us, He said, “You’re not of this world,” even though we live in this world. That’s because the Christian lives in two worlds contemporaneously.

Look at it this way: perhaps, you’re a citizen of the United States, living in the United Kingdom. The fact that you’re not living in the United States doesn’t nullify your American citizenship, neither does it make your American citizenship a promise. Therefore, that you’re in the earth doesn’t preclude you from enjoying all the blessings, rights and privileges of your heavenly citizenship.

According to the Bible, heaven is our home; it belongs to us now. We were born there, and live there NOW! Psalm 87:4-5 talks about it. It says, “I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there. And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.” When you study the context, you’d observe that he’s referring to the new creation who is born in Zion, which is the heavenly Jerusalem in Hebrews 12:22.

In the new birth, we were translated into the Kingdom of God’s Love Son (Colossians 1:13). This isn’t a promise; it’s already done. This is a heavenly kingdom, and operates from heaven. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
Like the Lord Jesus, I’m not of this world; I’m born from heaven and live the life of heaven now in the earth! I’m conscious of my heavenly blessings, rights and privileges and I enjoy them to the full. Hallelujah!

기도하도록 자신을 훈련하십시오
Discipline Yourself To Pray

“그가 내게 대답하여 이르되 여호와께서 스룹바벨에게 하신 말씀이 이러하니라 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하시되 이는 힘으로 되지 아니하며 능력으로 되지 아니하고 오직 나의 영으로 되느니라”(슥 4:6)

진정한 성공은 영적인 것이며 영적 원리에 기반합니다. 그러므로 당신이 하는 일에서 성공하려면 반드시 영적인 영역에서 주도하는 법을 배워야 합니다. 영적인 영역을 주도하는 가장 우선적인 방법은 기도를 통해 하는 것입니다. 무릎을 꿇고 기도하는 것을 배우고 기도하도록 자신을 훈련한다면 당신이 바꿀 수 없거나 성취하지 못할 것은 없습니다.

어떤 그리스도인들은 삶을 가볍게 여깁니다. 그들은 3분 동안 기도하고는 할 일을 다 했다고 생각합니다. 그들은 기도하는 동안에도 다른 일들로 주의가 산만해 집니다. 그러고서 하루가 끝날 무렵이 되면 왜 자신들에게 그들을 삶에서 피해자로 만드는 특정한 일들이 일어났는지 의아해 합니다. 기도하도록 스스로를 훈련하십시오. 의식적으로 기도가 당신의 일상이 되게 하십시오. 기도가 얼마나 효력이 있는지를 알게 되는 순간 당신의 악몽도 끝이 날 것입니다. 당신이 먼저 영적 영역에서 주도하여 변화를 일으킨다면 자연적인 영역에서도 나타날 것입니다. 드보라와 바락이 시스라와 그의 군대에 맞서 싸운 것에 대해 성경은 이렇게 말합니다. “별들이 하늘에서부터 싸우되 그들이 다니는 길에서 시스라와 싸웠도다”(삿 5:20)

자연적인 영역에서 당신의 삶에 어떤 일이 일어날지를 조정하고 상황들을 설정하는 곳이 바로 영의 영역입니다. 그러므로 기쁨으로 그 과정을 통과하십시오. 당신은 다윗처럼 당신의 세상에서 신비와 경이로움이 됩니다! 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

기도
귀하신 아버지, 기도를 통해 성령의 사역을 받을 수 있는 기회를 주시니 감사합니다. 당신과의 교제에 집중할 때 나의 눈은 영적 실재들에 열리고 당신의 생각이 내 영에 밝혀져서, 내가 다스림과 승리와 계속 증가하는 영광 안에서 행하게 합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

DISCIPLINE YOURSELF TO PRAY

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts (Zechariah 4:6).

True success is spiritual, and based on spiritual principles. If you’re going to be successful in anything, you must learn to take charge from the realm of the spirit, and the primary way to do that is through prayer. When you learn to bow your knees and discipline yourself to pray, there’ll be nothing you can’t change or achieve.

Some Christians think life is a joke; they pray three minutes and they’re done. Even while they’re praying, they’re distracted by everything else; then at the end of the day, they wonder why certain things happened that has made them victims in life. Discipline yourself to pray; make it a conscious part of your routine.

Your nightmares will be over once you discover the efficacy of prayer. When you take charge and change things in the realm of the spirit, they’ll manifest in the earth-realm. When Deborah and Barak fought against Sisera and his armies, the Bible says, “They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera” (Judges 5:20).

The spirit realm is where you set the circumstances of your life to control whatever happens in the natural world, and laugh your way through. You become like David—a mystery and a wonder to your world! Glory to God!

PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank you for the opportunity to receive the ministration of your Spirit through prayer.
As I give attention to commune with you, my eyes are open to spiritual realities, and your thoughts are unveiled to my spirit, causing me to walk in dominion, victory and ever-increasing glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“또 내가 네게 이르노니 너는 베드로라 내가 이 반석 위에 내 교회를 세우리니 음부의 권세가 이기지 못하리라”(마 16:18)

이 말씀은 주님의 입으로부터 나왔습니다. 그분은 자신의 교회를 세우는 것에 대해 직접적인 책임을 지셨습니다. 주님은 어떻게 교회를 세우셨습니까? 주 예수님은 하늘에 계시지만, 성령님이 우리와 함께 또 우리 안에 계심으로 이 땅에서 주님의 사역을 이어 가고 계십니다. 그러므로 주님은 그분의 교회를 하나님의 말씀의 사역과 성령의 도움을 통해 세우십니다.

하나님의 말씀이 전부입니다. 하나님은 말씀으로 당신을 낳으셨으므로 말씀이 당신을 살아가게 합니다. 베드로전서 1:23은 말합니다. “너희가 거듭난 것은 썩어질 씨로 된 것이 아니요 썩지 아니할 씨로 된 것이니 살아 있고 항상 있는 하나님의 말씀으로 되었느니라” 야고보도 우리에게 같은 것을 말합니다. “그가 그 피조물 중에 우리로 한 첫 열매가 되게 하시려고 자기의 뜻을 따라 진리의 말씀으로 우리를 낳으셨느니라” 말씀이 당신의 생명입니다. 그러므로 당신은 세움과 공급을 받기 위해 말씀에 자신을 내어드려야 합니다.

말씀은 영과 혼과 몸 모두에서 우리의 삶을 변화시키고 세우는 유일한 재료입니다. 하나님의 말씀은 당신의 영에 들어가서 그 말씀이 말하는 바를 당신 안에 만들어 냅니다. 예를 들어 가장 첫 번째 단계인 구원의 말씀이 있습니다. 로마서 1:16은 말합니다. “내가 복음을 부끄러워하지 아니하노니 이 복음은 모든 믿는 자에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력이 됨이라…” 이 구절이 말하는 바는 사람을 구원하는 하나님의 능력이 그리스도의 복음, 즉 그분의 구원의 말씀에 있다는 것입니다.

바울은 사도행전 20:32에서 말합니다. “지금 내가 여러분을 주와 및 그 은혜의 말씀에 부탁하노니 그 말씀이 여러분을 능히 든든히 세우사 거룩하게 하심을 입은 모든 자 가운데 기업이 있게 하시리라” 말씀을 공부하는 자가 되어 당신의 삶을 지속적으로 발전시키기로 결정하십시오. 이는 당신이 성공과 지속적인 승리를 경험하는 효과적인 삶을 살게 할 것입니다!

HE BUILDS US THROUGH HIS WORD

And I say also unto thee…I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18).

These words above came from the very lips of the Master; He’s personally responsible for building His Church. But how’s He doing it? We know that the Lord Jesus is in heaven, but the Holy Spirit is with us, and in us, continuing His ministry here in the
earth. So, He builds His Church through the ministry or instrumentality of God’s Word.

The Word of God is everything; that’s what gave birth to you, and therefore it’s what will sustain you. 1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” James tells us the same thing: “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures” (James 1:18). The Word is your life, therefore you must yield yourself to the Word to build and nourish you. Study the Word voraciously. Meditate on the Scriptures. That way, you’re submitting yourself to the Lordship of the Word.

The Word is the only ingredient that can transform and build our lives on all three levels: spirit, soul and body. When the Word of God gets into your spirit, it produces in you what it talks about. For example, the Word of salvation, which is the very first step. Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth….” That means God’s power
to save anyone is in the Gospel of Christ—His Word of salvation.

In Acts 20:32, Paul writes, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Make the important decision to keep improving your life by being a student of the Word. It’ll cause you to have an effectual life of success and constant victories. Hallelujah!

Blessed Father, thank you for the power of your Word in my life; I’m built and nourished by your Word for a life of greatness and joy in the Holy Ghost. My mind is renewed and my life transformed even now, by the power and glory of your Word. Hallelujah!

Activating The Treasures In You

이 말씀은 너무나도 심오합니다! 당신 안에는 신성한 보물이 있습니다. 할렐루야! 이는 마태복음 12:35에서 예수님이 하신 말씀을 떠올리게 합니다. “선한 사람은 그 쌓은 선에서 선한 것을 내고 악한 사람은 그 쌓은 악에서 악한 것을 내느니라” 당신이 삶에서 필요로 하는 모든 좋은 것들은 이미 당신의 영에 있는 보물 안에 있습니다. 바로 당신 안에 있습니다. 그러나 많은 사람들이 필요한 것을 그들 안으로부터 밖으로 나타나게 하는 방법을 아직 배우지 못했습니다. 예수님은 당신의 배에서 생수의 강이 흐를 것이라고 하셨습니다(요 7:38). 그분은 하늘로부터 올 것이라고 하지 않으셨습니다.

ACTIVATING THE TREASURES IN YOU

…we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be f God, and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7).

This is so profound! There’re treasures in you; divine treasures. Hallelujah! It brings to mind the words of Jesus in Matthew 12:35: “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things….” Every good thing you require in life is already in the treasure domiciled in your spirit; it’s in you. What many haven’t learnt is how to bring forth that which they require from within. Jesus said out of your belly shall flow rivers of living waters (John 7:38); He didn’t say they shall flow from heaven. So, how do you activate the treasure in you?

Philemon 1:6 gives us an important insight; it says, “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” There’re three keywords in that verse. The first is “communication,” translated from the Greek word “koinonia,” and it means fellowship or participation. The second word is “effectual,” which derives from the Greek word “energĕs”; and it means to become active or operative. The Lord wants your participation or fellowship in the faith to become active, to produce results through the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. That’s the third key word, “acknowledging,” and it’s from the Greek word “epignosis.” “Epignosis” is full discernment and recognition of spiritual truths. This means that your participation or fellowship in the Gospel of Christ will become effective through your full and absolute knowledge of every good thing that you have in your spirit by virtue of your oneness with Christ. Beyond recognizing who you are in Christ, your inheritance and heritage in Him, you must affirm them to become your vital experience in life.

Study the Word to know more about the divine treasures in you. God has imparted amazing blessings to your spirit, but through knowledge and affirmation you activate these and other blessings to produce results in your personal life. Praise God!

그 어떤 사도도 바울과 같이 교회에 대한 계시를 줄 수 없었던 것처럼, 요한만큼 성육신하신 예수님에 관해 계시를 준 사람은 없었습니다. 사도 요한은 말씀에 대해 이야기해주었는데, 그 이야기는 태초부터 시작됩니다. 그는 요한복음 1:10-14에서 말했습니다. “그가 세상에 계셨으며 세상은 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으되 세상이 그를 알지 못하였고… 말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매 우리가 그의 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라” 할렐루야!

예수님은 세상에 계셨지만 세상은 그분을 알지 못했습니다. 예수님은 누구였습니까? 말씀입니다! 우리는 그것을14절에서 확인할 수 있습니다. “말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매” 요한은 예수님의 기원을 알려주고 있습니다. 다른 복음서(마태와 누가)는 그들의 이야기를 예수님의 이 땅에서의 계보를 기술하며 시작하지만, 요한은 그분의 신성함을 선언하며 우리에게 그분의 실제 기원 즉 그분이 진짜 누구인지를 알려 줍니다.

예수 그리스도는 말씀으로서 태초부터 존재했던 창조물이시고 그분으로 말미암아 만물이 창조되었습니다(요 1:1-3). 그분은 아담과 하와가 동산을 걸으며 듣던 “주 하나님의 음성”이셨습니다(창 3:8). 그분은 다윗과 솔로몬이 열정적으로 기록했던 지혜였습니다. 그분의 탄생은 천군 천사들에게 경이로운 일이었으며 그들이 지금까지 본 것 중에 가장 놀라운 기적이었습니다(눅 2:13-14).
순식간에 그들은 강보에 싸인 우주의 창조주이자 태초부터 계신 분을 보게 되었습니다. 하늘에 계셨던 말씀이 사람들을 방문하셨습니다! 예수님의 모든 걸음은 움직이는 하나님의 말씀이었습니다. 그분은 말씀이 인간의 모습으로 오신 분이었습니다. 그분의 이름에 영원히 영광을 드립니다!

THE STORY OF THE WORD

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made (John 1:1-3).

Just as no other apostle gave us the revelation of the Church like Paul, no one gave the Church the revelation of the Person of Jesus, the incarnate Word, like John. He tells us the story of the Word, and starts from the beginning. In John 1:10-14 He says, “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not…. And the Word was made (became) flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we
beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Hallelujah!

He was in the world, but the world knew Him not; who was that? The Word! We read in verse 14, “And the Word was made (became) flesh, and dwelt among us…”; John is letting you know the origin of Jesus.

While the other Gospel writings (Matthew and Luke) began their account by tracing the earthly genealogy of Jesus, John’s Gospel declares His divinity, giving us the actual origin of the man Jesus—who He really is. Jesus Christ is the Word that pre-existed creation and by whom all things were created (John 1:1-3).

He was “…the Voice of the Lord God that Adam and Eve heard walking in the garden” (Genesis 3:8). He is the Wisdom that David and Solomon wrote so passionately about. His birth was such a marvel to the hosts of heaven; it was a miracle beyond what they had ever seen (Luke 2:13-14).

Suddenly, they were looking at the Creator of the universe, the Ancient of days, wrapped in swaddling clothes; the Word in heaven had visited men in the flesh! Every step Jesus took was the Word of God in motion. He was the Word personified. Glory to His Name forever!

CONFESSION
Blessed Lord Jesus, you are God, the eternal Rock of ages; the Word that pre-existed all creation and by whom all things were created. How great thou art, O Lord! You’re the embodiment of grace and truth, you’re the Word of life, and the light of life; the living bread from heaven that gives life to every man in the world. Blessed be your Name forever!

He Perfects Your Life

“주께서 나와 관련된 것들을 완전하게 하시리이다…”(시 138:8, 한글킹제임스)

오늘의 본문 구절을 읽고 당신의 삶에 대해 완전한 확신을 얻어야 합니다. 이 구절은 당신의 미래가 안전하다는 것을 보여주기 때문입니다. 주님은 당신과 관련된 모든 것을 완전하게 하시는 분이라는 사실에 대해 생각해 보십시오! 이것은 당신이 그 무엇에 대해서도 걱정할 필요가 없다는 뜻입니다. 수년 전, 젊은 청년시절에 저는 이 사실을 발견하고 너무나도 기뻤습니다. 제 미래가 안전하다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 내일의 주인이신 그분이 내 삶과 나와 관련된 모든 것을 완전하게 하십니다. 할렐루야! 이것을 매일 고백하십시오.

사도행전 14:17은 주님이 당신에게 하늘에서 비를 내려 주시고 풍요한 계절을 주신다고 선언합니다. 그분은 당신의 심령을 윤택하게 하고 기쁨으로 채워 주십니다. 주님의 이름을 영원히 송축합니다! 당신의 삶에 대해 주님을 신뢰하십시오. “글쎄요, 내일은 어떻게 될지 모르잖아요. 삶은 오르락내리락 하니까요.”라고 말하지 마십시오. 그런 식으로 말하지 마십시오! 당신의 내일은 정해져 있습니다.

주님은 예레미야 29:11에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “이는 내가 너희를 향하여 생각하는 그 생각들을 내가 앎이니, 곧 화평의 생각이요 재앙이 아니라. 기대하던 끝을 너희에게 주리라. 주가 말하노라.”(한글킹제임스) 기대하던 끝이 있습니다. 그것은 성경에 이미 쓰여 있습니다. 당신은 영원히 승리자일 것입니다! 당신은 이미 이겼습니다. 삶의 모든 것들이 당신의 선을 위해 합력하도록 계획되었기 때문입니다(롬 8:28).

이사야 54:16-17을 읽으며 주님께서 당신이 얼마나 천하무적이며 그 무엇도 두려워할 필요가 없는지에 대해 자랑하고 계신 것을 보십시오. “… 너를 치려고 제조된 모든 연장이 쓸모가 없을 것이라 일어나서 너를 대적하여 송사하는 모든 혀는 네게 정죄를 당하리니…”

당신의 삶은 하나님의 영광을 위한 것입니다. 이 세상에 있는 그 무엇도 당신을 패배하게 만들 수 없습니다. 당신은 이미 그리스도 안에서 승리했기 때문에 당신이 고군분투하거나 극복해야 하는 것은 없습니다. 하나님의 말씀과 다르게 생각하지 마십시오. 환경이 당신의 기쁨과 성취와 평안을 빼앗아가도록 허용하지 마십시오.

평안은 신뢰의 결과이며 지식의 산물입니다. 이것이 말씀을 공부하고 묵상함으로 당신이 개인적으로 주님을 알아야 하는 이유입니다. 할렐루야!

The scripture above should give you absolute confidence in life, because it shows that your future is secure. Think about the fact that the Lord Himself is the One who perfects all that concerns you! That means you have nothing to worry about. I was so delighted to make this discovery as a young lad many years ago. It made me know that my future was secure. He that owns tomorrow perfects my life and all that concerns me. Hallelujah! Make that your daily confession.

Acts 14:17 AMPC declares that the Lord gives you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons; He satisfies your heart with nourishment and happiness. Blessed be His Name forever! Trust the Lord with your life. Don’t say, “Well, I don’t know what tomorrow holds; life is full of ups and downs.” Don’t talk like that! Your tomorrow is settled.

In Jeremiah 29:11, He said, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” There’s an expected end; the script has been written: you’ll forever be a victor! You already
won, because everything in life has been programmed for your advantage (Romans 8:28).

Read Isaiah 54:17 and notice how the Lord brags about your invincibility and the fact that you have nothing to fear. He said, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn….” Your life is for the glory of God. Nothing in this world can defeat you or put you under. There’s nothing to struggle with or try to overcome, because you have triumphed already in Christ; refuse to think otherwise.  Don’t allow the circumstances rob you of your joy, fulfilment and peace.

Peace is a consequence of trust, and trust is a product of knowledge. This is why you must get to know the Lord for yourself in such a personal way, through study and meditation on the Word. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, my spirit is refreshed in your presence, and your joy fills my soul, knowing that you perfect all that concerns me. My path is that of the righteous that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.
You have made my life pleasant, and my future is bright. Thank you for guiding me in success, victory and filling me with your glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“우리의 씨름은 혈과 육을 상대하는 것이 아니요 통치자들과 권세들과 이 어둠의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들을 상대함이라”(엡 6:12)

사람들이 겪는 어려움은 대부분은 귀신 곧 성경에서 이 어둠의 세상 주관자들이라고 묘사된 자들로 인해 일어납니다. 사람들이 삶에서 분노와 좌절과 우울함을 경험하는 것도 대부분은 이들 때문입니다. 많은 사람들이 잘 깨닫지 못하지만, 분노 특히 통제되지 않는 분노는 종종 안타까운 일들로 이어집니다. 그리고 많은 경우 통제되지 않는 분노의 배후에는 귀신이 있습니다.

오늘의 본문 구절은 분명하게 말합니다. 혈과 육, 즉 당신 주변의 사람들이 문제가 아닙니다. 어떤 사람으로 인해 당신이 겪은 끔찍한 경험이나 행동은 대부분 그 사람이나 상황에 영향을 준 악한 영이나 악한 세력의 결과입니다. 진짜 범인은 마귀입니다. 그러므로 당신이 해야 할 일은 마귀를 쫓아내는 것이며, 그 일은 사람과 대면하지 않고도 할 수 있습니다. 영적 권세를 행사하는데 있어 거리는 문제가 되지 않으므로 멀리서도 귀신들은 당신의 말을 듣고 순종할 것입니다.

그리스도인으로서 악한 일들에 익숙해지거나 무지하지 마십시오. 하나님의 말씀 안에 거하고 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 통치권을 신속하게 행사하십시오. 만일 당신이 부모라면, 자녀가 어떤 학교나 병원에 가는지를 결정하는 것입니다. 그런 장소에 대한 권세를 행사하고 영적으로 깨어 있으십시오.

예수님이 우리에게 그분의 이름으로 행하라고 말씀하시며 중요성을 알려주신 것에 주목하십시오. 사탄은 자기의 신분을 숨긴 채 행하므로 당신과 관련하여 어떤 것이든 사탄의 일들을 알아차리게 되면 그를 쫓아내십시오. 사람들을 대적하여 기도하지 말고 그 문제의 배후에 있는 영을 다루십시오. 그러면 당신은 놀랄 만한 변화를 보게 될 것입니다.

DO WHAT JESUS SAID TO DO—CAST OUT DEVILS

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).

Many of the challenges that some people are faced with in life are caused by demons, especially the ones the Bible describes as the rulers of the darkness of this world. They’re largely responsible for the anger, frustration and depression that people experience in their lives. Most don’t know it, but anger, especially uncontrolled anger, often leads to regrettable extremities. In many cases, a demon is behind uncontrollable anger.

It’s clear from our opening verse: flesh and blood, that is, fellow humans aren’t your problem. Any horrible experience or action against you by someone is often the result of whatever evil spirit or force influencing that person or the situation. So, the real culprit is the devil. What you’re supposed to do is to cast the devil out, and you can do that even without confronting the person. Demons will hear and obey you even from afar as distance isn’t a factor in the exercise of spiritual authority.

As a Christian, don’t be casual with, or ignorant of demonic activities. Stay in God’s Word and be quick to exercise your dominion in Christ. If you’re a parent for example, it matters where your children go to school or even the hospitals they visit. Take authority over such places and be spiritually perceptive.

Sometimes, you even find pastors and ministers of the Gospel who are having challenges with demonic forces in their ministry. They gather people, and suddenly, demons stir up some trouble, and the church is left in disarray; then they start all over again. Things like these happen to people, causing them frustration because they haven’t understood, and therefore, aren’t doing what Jesus told us to do, which is to cast out devils.

Notice that it’s the first thing Jesus said we would do in His Name, letting us know the importance. So, once you notice Satan’s activities in anything concerning you, knowing that oftentimes he acts incognito, cast him out. Don’t pray against people; deal with the spirit behind it and you’ll see remarkable changes.

CONFESSION
I’ve been given the authority and ability to cast out devils in the Name of Jesus and I exercise that dominion even now, and frustrate the influence and manipulations of Satan in my environment. Satan has no place in my body, home, work, finances and my loved ones, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“하늘과 땅은 없어져도 내 말은 결코 없어지지 아니하리라”(마 24:35, 한글킹제임스)

하나님의 말씀은 언제나 확실합니다. 시편 18:30(한글킹제임스)은 이렇게 말합니다. “하나님으로 말하면, 그의 길은 완전하며 주의 말씀은 단련되었으니, 그는 자기를 신뢰하는 모든 자들에게 방패가 되시는도다.” 당신이 의식적으로 훈련해야 하는 일은 하나님의 말씀을 통해 그분을 받아들이는 것입니다. 그러므로 당신이 어떤 상황이나 환경에 처해있든지 그분의 말씀을 행하십시오. 그분의 말씀은 완전합니다.

하나님은 이사야 55:11에서도 말씀하셨습니다. “내 입에서 나가는 말도 이와 같이 헛되이 내게로 되돌아오지 아니하고 나의 기뻐하는 뜻을 이루며 내가 보낸 일에 형통함이니라” 어쩌면 당신은 건강에 대한 문제를 겪고 있을 수도 있습니다. 그러나 말씀은 당신의 신성한 건강을 보장합니다. 하나님께 치유를 위해 울부짖거나 구걸할 필요가 없습니다. 그분은 이미 치유보다 더 좋은 그분의 생명을 당신 안에 주셨습니다. 당신 안에 있는 하나님의 생명이 아픔과 질병과 허약함을 다스리는 삶에 대한 당신의 권리이자 보장입니다.

하나님의 말씀에 대한 믿음을 가지십시오. 하나님의 말씀이 말하는 것은 무엇이든지 진리라는 것을 받아들이고 말씀에 따라 행하십시오. 성경 전체에는 그리스도의 속량 사역과 관련된 모든 것, 즉 그분이 당신을 대신해 성취하신 일들의 결과와 그분의 죽음 안에서 완성된 모든 약속들이 연대순으로 기록되어 있습니다. 이 모든 말씀은 정확하고 신뢰할 수 있으며, 그에 따라 살도록 우리에게 주어졌습니다.

그러므로 당신이 무엇을 느끼든지, 듣든지, 보든지, 경험하는지는 중요하지 않습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “또 우리에게는 더 확실한 예언이 있어 어두운 데를 비추는 등불과 같으니 날이 새어 샛별이 너희 마음에 떠오르기까지 너희가 이것을 주의하는 것이 옳으니라”(벧후 1:19) 당신의 경험이나 당신이 겪고 있는 고통보다 더 신뢰할 수 있는 것이 있습니다. 그것은 바로 하나님의 은혜의 말씀입니다. 하나님의 말씀을 붙잡으십시오. 상황이 바뀌지 않는 것처럼 보일지라도 믿음이 당신 안에서 거인처럼 일어날 때까지 그 상황에 대해 말씀을 지속적으로 말하십시오. 믿음은 말씀을 받아들여 자연적인 상황보다 위에 있게 합니다. 그래서 당신이 꾸준히 말씀을 묵상하고 당신의 믿음을 강하게 세워야 하는 것입니다. 당신의 믿음이 강해진다면, 당신이 무엇을 보든지 듣든지 느끼든지 중요하지 않습니다. 자연적인 영역에서 얼마나 상황이 나빠지거나 불가능하게 보이든지 상관없습니다. 당신이 항상 승리할 것이기 때문입니다.

기도
사랑하는 아버지, 언제나 확실한 당신의 말씀에 감사드립니다. 지금도 당신의 말씀이 내 안에서 충만하여 말씀이 말하는 열매를 맺고 있습니다. 나는 당신의 말씀의 능력으로 오늘 그리고 날마다 승리합니다. 나는 항상 당신의 영광 안에 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE WORD IS EVER SURE

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35).

God’s Word is ever sure; surer than your experiences. Psalm 18:30 says, “As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.” One of the things that you have to consciously practise is taking God at His Word; acting on His Word, no matter the circumstances or situation you find yourself in. His Word has integrity.

He said in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”Maybe it’s a health crisis you’re confronted with; the Word guarantees your divine health. There’s no need to cry and beg God for healing; He already gave you something better than healing—His life in you. That’s your right and assurance for a life of dominion over sickness, disease and infirmities.

Have faith in God’s Word. Accept that whatever He says is true, and then act accordingly. The entire Scriptures chronicle everything that’s involved in Christ’s redemptive work, the implication of all that He accomplished in your behalf, and the testament sealed in His death. Not only are these accounts authentic and trustworthy, they were delivered to us to live by.

Therefore, it makes no difference what you feel, hear, see or what your experience has been; the Bible says, “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19). There’s something more trustworthy than your experience; than the pain you may be going through; it’s the Word of His grace. Hold on to God’s Word.

Things may not seem to be changing on the outside, but keep affirming the Word concerning that situation, until faith rises in you like a giant. Faith accepts and exalts the Word above the natural circumstances of life. This is why it’s vital for you to regularly meditate on the Word and build your faith strong. When your faith is strong, it doesn’t matter what you see, hear or feel-it doesn’t matter how negative or impossible things may look in the natural-you’ll always win.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that’s ever sure. Even now, your Word prevails in me, producing fruits of the message therein. I win today, and every day, by the power of your Word. I live in your glory always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
