진정한 경배
REAL WORSHIP

“아버지께 참되게 예배하는 자들은 영과 진리로 예배할 때가 오나니 곧 이 때라 아버지께서는 자기에게 이렇게 예배하는 자들을 찾으시느니라”(요 4:23)

거듭났을 때, 당신의 영은 재창조되었을 뿐만 아니라 그리스도 안으로 잠기게 되었습니다. 당신은 말 그대로 그분과 떨어질 수 없는 연합으로 결합되었습니다. 그것이 바로 우리가 그분을 경배할 수 있는 이유입니다. 진정한 경배는 서로의 영이 뒤섞여, 그분의 임재의 영광과 기쁨에 싸이는 신성한 황홀의 순간입니다.

어떤 것도 그분 안에서 자신을 잃고 세상과 주변의 다른 모든 것을 완전히 망각하는 진정한 경배 가운데 일어나는 그런 신성한 결합을 방해하지 못합니다. 진정한 경배는 아버지와의 교제입니다. 이는 찬양이나 기도할 때 하는 말의 범주를 넘어섭니다. 진정한 경배란 당신의 영이 그분과 교감할 때, 영의 영역에서 일어나는 교제입니다.

오늘의 본문구절 다음에 나오는 예수님의 말씀을 떠올려보십시오. “하나님은 영이시니 예배하는 자가 영과 진리로 예배할지니라” 영으로 하나님께 경배 드린다는 것은 그 경배가 당신의 영에서부터 나와야 한다는 말입니다. 우리는 영으로 하나님을 섬깁니다. 우리는 영으로 하나님의 일들을 이해합니다. 그것이 우리가 끊임없이 성령 충만해야 하는 이유입니다. 성령님만이 하나님을 생각하도록 우리 마음을 인도하고 성결하게 하시며, 우리 속사람 깊은 곳에서부터 그분을 향한 사랑을 표현하도록 도와주십니다.

진정한 경배를 드릴 때, 당신은 성령님의 영광스런 운송을 경험합니다. 때때로 경배를 드릴 때, 당신은 이 땅에서 사라져 놀랍고 기이한 하나님의 영 안으로 들어가는 듯한 황홀한 느낌을 받습니다. 이런 축복은 거듭난 모든 사람들을 위한 것입니다. 우리의 영이 그분의 영과 섞여있으므로 우리는 아버지께 경배하고 그분의 임재 안에서 영광스런 교제를 경험할 수 있는 유일한 존재입니다.

REAL WORSHIP

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him (John 4:23).

When you were born again, not only was your spirit recreated, you were also immersed into Christ; you’re literally joined together with Him in an inseparable union. It’s the reason we can worship Him. Real worship is a mingling of spirits; a moment of divine ecstasy, where you’re enraptured in the bliss and glory of His presence.Nothing beats that divine connection that takes place in real worship, where you’re lost in Him, completely oblivious of the world and everything else around you. Real worship is a communion with the Father. It’s beyond the singing or the words offered in prayer; it’s about the fellowship that takes place in the realm of the spirit as your spirit communes with Him. Recall the words of Jesus in our opening verse: God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Worshipping God in Spirit means it’s got to come from your spirit. We serve God from our spirits. We understand the things of God from our spirits. It’s one of the reasons we need to be constantly filled with the Spirit, because only the Spirit can help us guide and sanctify our minds to think towards God, and express our love for Him from the deep recesses of our inner being as we should. In real worship, you experience glorious transportations of the Spirit. Sometimes, as you worship, you feel enraptured; taken away from the earth realm into the amazing wonders of God’s Spirit. This blessing is for everyone who’s born again. We’re the only ones who can worship the Father and experience such a glorious fellowship in His presence, as our spirits are mingled with His.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I take advantage of your presence in my life, and the inextricable oneness with your Spirit; and as such, I enjoy and experience a glorious fellowship and transformation from glory to glory. I’m full of strength, courage, and divine vitality, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

HIS SACRIFICE WAS ENOUGH

“이 구원에 대하여는 너희에게 임할 은혜를 예언하던 선지자들이 연구하고 부지런히 살펴서 자기 속에 계신 그리스도의 영이 그 받으실 고난과 후에 받으실 영광을 미리 증언하여 누구를 또는 어떠한 때를 지시하시는지 상고하니라”(벧전 1:10-11)

그리스도의 수난 이후, 영광의 삶이 뒤따랐습니다. 아름다운 삶을 사는 것과 하나님께서 당신이 되길 원하는 모든 것을 위해 그리스도가 이미 행하신 것 외에 그리스도인은 어떤 추가 비용도 “지불”할 필요가 없습니다. 그분의 희생으로 충분했습니다.

그 희생 때문에, 우리는 하나님과 하나가 되었습니다. 우리는 지금 그분의 생명과 의에 참여한 자입니다. 하나님이 지금 당신에게 기대하는 것은 삶을 누리되, 하나님의 영광을 위해 최고로 살아가는 것입니다.

예수님은 죽으시기 전, 십자가에서 “다 이루었다”(요 19:30)고 말씀하셨습니다. 그분은 전 인류에 대한 고난이 끝났음을 알리셨습니다. 예수님을 믿고, 그분의 대속을 받아들이는 사람은 누구나 자동적으로 영광스러운 초월적인 삶으로 인도됩니다. 그렇습니다. 그리스도는 우리를 위해 고난을 겪으셨지만 그 고난은 우리에게 영원한 생명과 의를 가져다주었습니다.

이야기는 그분의 죽음으로 끝나지 않았습니다. 왜냐하면 성경이 “…이같이 그리스도가 고난을 받고 제 삼일에 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 것…이 기록되었으니”(눅 24:46-47)라고 말씀하기 때문입니다. 그러므로 우리는 우리를 위한 그분의 죽음을 애통해 하는 것이 아니라 경축합니다. 그리고 우리에게 새 생명을 주시고, 하나님과 같은 부류로 우리를 만들어 주신 그분의 부활을 더 더욱 기념합니다.

하나님은 당신이 예수 그리스도의 죽음과 장사됨과 영광스러운 부활의 승리 안에서 날마다 살아가기 원하십니다. 즉, 당신이 병상에 누워있다면, 예수님의 수난이 아픔과 질병, 연약함의 종말을 가져왔기 때문에 이제는 자리를 털고 일어날 때라는 말입니다. 죽음과 무덤이 그분을 붙잡고 있을 수 없었던 것처럼 어떤 어둠도 당신에게 영향을 미치거나 통제할 수 없습니다. 당신을 구속하는 것을 허락하지 마십시오.

당신을 붙잡고 있는 가난을 허락하지 마십시오. 예수님이 십자가에서 당신을 대신해 가난하게 되시고, 당신에게 부요함을 주셨기 때문입니다(고후 8:9). 아이를 갖고 싶지만 자궁에 문제가 있어서 그럴 수 없었다면, 변화의 때가 왔습니다! 그리스도의 희생으로 이룬 승리 때문에 이제 당신은 아이를 가질 수 있습니다. 그분의 이름에 영원히 영광 돌립니다! 그분의 전능한 이름 안에서 모든 것이 가능합니다. 아멘.

HIS SACRIFICE WAS ENOUGH

Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently…what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow (1 Peter 1:10-11).

After the sufferings of Christ, a life of glory ensued. You don’t need to “pay” any additional price, aside what Christ already did for you to have a beautiful life, and be all that God wants you to be. His sacrifice was enough. Due to that sacrifice, you’ve become one with God; you’re now a partaker of His life and of His righteousness. What He expects of you now is that you enjoy your life and live your best to His glory. On the Cross, before His death, Jesus said, “…It is finished…” (John 19:30). He announced the end to suffering for all humanity. Anyone who believes in Him and accepts His vicarious sacrifice is automatically ushered into the transcendent life of glory. Yes, Christ suffered for us, but that suffering brought us life eternal, and righteousness. Moreover, the story didn’t end with His death; the Bible says, “…Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day…” (Luke 24:46-47). Therefore, rather than lament, we celebrate His death for us; much more, we celebrate His resurrection that gave us a new life and made us associates of the God-kind. God wants you to live every day in the victory of the death, burial and glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ. This means if you were lying on a sickbed, it’s time to get up, because His suffering brought an end to sickness, disease and infirmities. Just as death and the grave couldn’t hold Him down, nothing of darkness should be able to exert influence or control over you; refuse to allow anything keep you in bondage. Refuse to allow poverty take a hold of you, for Jesus took your place of poverty on the Cross and gave you prosperity (2 Corinthians 8:9). If you’ve desired to have children but couldn’t, because there’s something wrong with your womb, change has come! Now you can, because of the victory of Christ’s sacrifice. Glory to His Name forever! All things are possible in His mighty Name. Amen.

PRAYER
Blessed Father, I’m grateful for your life in me, which was made possible by the resurrection of Christ from the dead. I thank you that I’m the object of your love, and my prosperity and wellbeing are your delight. I live in the victory of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“빌립보 사람들아 너희도 알거니와 복음의 시초에 내가 마게도냐를 떠날 때에 주고받는 내 일에 참여한 교회가 너희 외에 아무도 없었느니라”(빌 4:15)

때때로 “주님께 드리는 데 있어서 씨앗의 “크기”는 전혀 중요하지 않습니다”라고 말하면, 크게 기뻐하는 사람들이 있습니다. 그러나 성경은 “…적게 심는 자는 적게 거두고 많이 심는 자는 많이 거둔다”(고후 9:6)라고 말씀합니다.

다시 말해, 당신이 주는 것에 인색하면 적게 거두지만, 후하게 준다면 후하게 거둘 것이라는 말입니다. 이는 말씀 곧 영적인 법칙입니다. 이는 단순히 말해 심고 거두는 것 또는 오늘의 본문구절에서 바울이 말한 것처럼 “주고받는 일”에 관한 것입니다. 당신은 하나님께서 이미 제정하신 법칙을 작동시키도록 그분께 “기도”할 필요가 없습니다. 어떤 종류의 법칙이든 올바르게 적용되었다면, 그것은 당연한 결과를 낼 것입니다. 마찬가지로 당신이 그 법칙을 잘못 적용한다면, 그것들은 당신에게 불리하게 작용할 것입니다.

일단 당신이 말씀이나 영적 원리대로 행했다면, 하나님께 그 일이 일어나게 해 달라고 청원할 필요가 없습니다. 이는 예수님이 하나님의 왕국이 어떻게 작동하는지에 대해 말씀하신 비유들에 분명히 나타나 있습니다. 예를 들어 마가복음 4:26-28에서 예수님은 “하나님의 나라(왕국)는 사람이 씨를 땅에 뿌림과 같으니 그가 밤낮 자고 깨고 하는 중에 씨가 나서 자라되 어떻게 그리 되는 지를 알지 못하느니라 땅이 스스로 열매를 맺되 처음에는 싹이요 다음에는 이삭이요 그 다음에는 이삭에 충실한 곡식이라”고 말씀하셨습니다.

예수님이 땅에 씨를 뿌린 후 그것을 자라게 하기 위해 금식하고 기도하라고 말씀하지 않으셨다는 것에 주목하십시오. 오히려 씨를 뿌린 사람은 잠을 잤고 씨앗은 스스로 자라 열매를 맺었습니다. 씨 뿌리는 법칙을 적용하면, 그것은 작동합니다. 성경은 “땅이 있을 동안에는 심음과 거둠과 추위와 더위와 여름과 겨울과 낮과 밤이 쉬지 아니하리라”(창 8:22)고 말씀합니다. 씨 뿌리는 시기가 있는 동안에는 추수가 반드시 보장되며 또한 언제든지 추수할 수 있습니다. 추수는 자동적으로 일어납니다.

하나님이 반드시 추수가 일어나게 하는 분은 아니십니다. 그분이 하시는 일은 당신이 풍요해지게 그분의 은혜와 호의를 전달하시는 것뿐입니다. 고린도후서 9:8(AMP)은 이렇게 말씀합니다. “하나님께서는 모든 은혜(모든 호의와 이 땅의 축복)를 여러분에게 넘치게 하실 수 있으셔서 여러분이 항상 그리고 모든 환경 아래서 필요한 것은 무엇이든지 [어떤 도움이나 지원도 필요치 않게 충분히 소유하고 모든 좋은 일과 자선을 위한 기부활동에 풍성하게 구비될 정도로] 자족하게 하실 것입니다.” 항상 아낌없이 주십시오. 하나님의 약속은 받는 자가 아닌 주는 자를 위한 것이기 때문입니다(눅 6:38).

기도
하늘 아버지, 복음에 심을 수 있는 특권을 주셔서 감사합니다. 저는 주는 자이기에 제가 하는 모든 일에서 축복받아서 번영합니다. 저는 온 땅에서 그리스도의 복음을 전파하기 위해 항상 씨앗을 심을 것이며, 심을 때 추수할 것을 확신합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

GIVING AND RECEIVING

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only (Philippians 4:15).

Sometimes, there’re those who get very excited when we say, “In giving to the Lord, it doesn’t really matter the ‘size’ of the seed.” But the Bible says, “…this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully” (2 Corinthians 9:6). In other words, if you’re miserly in your giving, you’ll reap a paltry or meagre harvest, but if you give generously, you’ll also reap generously. That’s the Word; it’s a spiritual law. It’s simply about sowing and reaping, or as Paul puts it in our opening verse, “giving and receiving.” You don’t need to “pray” to God to make a law work which He already instituted. Laws, any kind of law, when applied rightly, would produce the requisite results. Likewise, if you misapply them, they’ll work against you. There’re things you don’t need to petition God to make happen, once you’ve acted on the Word or on a spiritual principle. This is clear in some of the parables of Jesus on how the Kingdom of God functions. For example, when you read Mark 4:26-28, He didn’t say after sowing into the ground, the man fasted and prayed for the seeds to grow; no! Rather, he went to sleep; and of their own accord, the seeds grew and produced fruits. When you apply the law of sowing, it works. The Bible says, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22). As long as there’s seed time, it means harvest is assured and it can be anytime; the harvest happens automatically. God isn’t necessarily the one to make the harvest happen. All He does is to channel His grace and favour towards you for superabundance. 2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMPC) says, “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].” Always give bountifully, for the promise is to the giver not the receiver (Luke 6:38)

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the privilege of giving into the Gospel. I’m blessed in all I do, and prosper in all things, because I’m a giver. I’ll always give bountifully for the propagation of the Gospel of Christ in all the earth; likewise, my harvest is sure, in Jesus’ Name Amen

“여호와께서 아브람에게 이르시되 너는 너의 고향과 친척과 아버지의 집을 떠나 내가 네게 보여 줄 땅으로 가라 내가 너로 큰 민족을 이루고 네게 복을 주어 네 이름을 창대케 하리니 너는 복이 될지라”(창 12:1-2)

하나님은 아브라함을 그저 축복해 주시기만 한 것이 아니었습니다. 아브라함이 복이 되게 하셨습니다. 예를 들어 그의 조카 롯은 아브라함을 따라 갔기 때문에 하나님의 축복을 받았습니다. “아브람의 일행 롯도 양과 소와 장막이 있으므로 그 땅이 그들이 동거하기에 넉넉하지 못하였으니 이는 그들의 소유가 많아서 동거할 수 없었음이니라”(창 13:5-6) 생각해 보십시오! 롯은 아브라함과 연결되어 있었기 때문에 큰 부자가 되었습니다.

거듭났다면, 당신도 그렇습니다. 당신이 아브라함의 자손이기 때문입니다. “너희가 그리스도의 것이면 곧 아브라함의 자손이요 약속대로 유업을 이을 자니라”(갈 3:29) 하나님이 아브라함에게 주신 모든 축복은 그리스도 예수 안에서 이제 당신 것입니다. 당신은 신성한 축복의 꾸러미입니다! 이런 의식을 갖고 산다면 삶에서 오는 어떤 필요의식이나 부족의식도 제거될 것입니다.

하나님은 당신이 궁핍에 처하길 원치 않으십니다. 그분은 이미 모든 것이 당신 것이 되게 하셨습니다(고전 3:21). 로마서 8:17은 당신이 하나님의 상속자이며, 예수 그리스도와 함께한 공동 상속자라고 말씀합니다. 당신이 가질 수 없거나 할 수 없는 일은 없습니다. 당신은 어떤 궁핍도 의식해서는 안 됩니다! 그분은 넓은 곳인 신성한 부요함이 있는 곳으로 당신을 데려 오셨습니다. 그러므로 하나님이 당신에게 정하신 축복이 되십시오.

하나님이 당신의 세상을 축복하시는 접촉점이 바로 당신입니다. 하나님은 누군가를 축복해 주시려고 당신을 찾으십니다. 당신은 당신의 세상을 위한 그분의 동역자이자 축복의 통로입니다. 누구든지 당신과 연결되는 것만으로도 주님이 주시는 축복과 기적을 받을 수 있습니다.

예를 들어, 질병을 앓고 있는 사람은 그 병에 상관없이 당신을 만짐으로써 치유될 수 있습니다. 당신이 하나님의 집인 그분의 살아있는 성전이기 때문입니다(고전 3:16). 당신은 하나님의 충만한 축복의 화신입니다. 할렐루야!

기도
복되신 주님, 그리스도 예수 안에서 하늘에 있는 모든 영적인 복으로 저를 축복해 주셔서 감사합니다. 저는 축복받았으며, 제게 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것이 있음을 의식합니다. 그러므로 저는 저의 세상에 주님의 축복을 나누어주는 영광스러운 삶을 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

MORE THAN A BLESSED MAN

Now the LORD had said unto Abram… And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:1-2).

God didn’t only bless Abraham, He also made him a blessing. For example, Lot was blessed of God, because he followed Abraham: “And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together” (Genesis 13:5-6). Think about that! Lot became very wealthy because of his association with Abraham. If you’re born again, the same is true about you, because you’re the seed of Abraham: “…if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). All the blessings God endowed Abraham with are now your possessions in Christ Jesus. You’re a package of divine blessings! Living with this consciousness will eradicate every sense of need or lack from your life. God doesn’t want you in need; He already made all things yours (1 Corinthians 3:21). Romans 8:17 says you’re an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ. There’s nothing you don’t have, and can’t do. You should never be need-conscious. He’s brought you into a large place, a place of wealth divine. Therefore, be the blessing He destined you to be. You’re God’s contact-point of blessings to your world. When He seeks to bless someone, He locates you; you’re His partner and channel of blessing to your world. Anybody could receive a blessing or miracle from the Lord just by their association with you. For example, no matter the sickness someone may be suffering from, he or she could get healed just by touching you. That’s because you’re God’s house, His living tabernacle (1 Corinthians 3:16); you’re the embodiment of the fullness of the blessings of God. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Precious Lord, I thank you for blessing me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I’m conscious that I’m blessed and I have all things that pertain to life and godliness. Therefore, I live a glorious life, dispensing your blessings to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE SPIRIT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

“왕이 그들에게 모든 일을 묻는 중에 그 지혜와 총명이 온 나라 박수와 술객보다 십 배나 나은 줄을 아니라”(단 1:20)

느부갓네살 왕이 다스리던 시절, 그는 훈련이 잘 된 특정한 젊은이들을 원해서 여러 나라 출신의 청년들을 데려왔습니다. 그들 중에는 다니엘과 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고라는 네 명의 히브리 소년들도 있었습니다. 왕에게 검사 받기 위해 온 날, 그들은 다른 소년들보다 10배나 더 훌륭한 것으로 밝혀졌습니다. 왜냐하면 하나님께서 초자연적인 지능으로 그들을 축복하셔서, 그들에게 탁월한 영이 있었기 때문입니다.

이와 비슷한 예로 다윗을 들 수 있습니다. 사무엘 선지자가 그에게 기름을 부어 이스라엘의 왕이 되게 했을 때 하나님의 능력이 그에게 임했고, 그는 경이로운 삶을 살았습니다. 어린 다윗은 골리앗을 죽이고 목을 베었습니다. 그 당시 이스라엘의 왕이었던 사울은 전쟁의 영웅이었지만, 골리앗을 대면했을 때엔 두려움에 떨었습니다. 하나님의 영이 사울을 떠나 다윗에게 임한 것으로 인해 둘 사이에 차이가 났던 것입니다. 사울은 이제 평범한 사람이 된 반면 다윗에게는 성령님이 계셨습니다.

“여인들이 뛰놀며 노래하여 이르되 사울이 죽인 자는 천천이요 다윗은 만만이로다 한지라”(삼상 18:7) 여인들은 성령 안에서 무엇을 보고 있었었습니까? “다윗이 사울보다 10배나 뛰어나다는 것입니다!” 그들은 “열 둘”이나 “여섯”이라고 할 수도 있었지만 “사울은 천천이요 다윗은 만만이로다”라고 말했습니다. 성령님은 당신이 상상할 수 없는 특별한 일을 하게 하십니다.

당신이 거듭났기에 오늘날 성령님은 당신 위에만 머무시는 것이 아니라 당신 안에도 계십니다. 사도행전 1:8은 “오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고…”라고 말씀합니다. 성령님은 당신의 삶에 하나님의 영광을 가져오고, 당신을 인도하고 지도하십니다. 당신은 어둠과 장벽을 뚫고 “벽”을 통과할 수 있습니다. 그분은 인간적으로는 설명할 수 없는 일을 할 수 있게 초자연적인 능력으로 당신을 채우십니다.

당신의 삶에서 성령님의 인격과 능력과 사역을 활용하십시오! 그분이야말로 당신의 이점이십니다. 그분은 당신으로 하여금 보통 사람은 할 수 없는 일을 보고 생각하고 말하며 행동하게 하십니다.

THE SPIRIT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm (Daniel 1:20).

In the days of King Nebuchadnezzar, he wanted certain young men trained, and he got them from different nations. Among them were four Hebrew boys: Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. On the day they were brought to be examined by the king, they were found to be ten times better than their peers. Why? God had blessed them with supernatural intelligence; they had an excellent spirit! A similar example is David. The power of God came on him when Samuel the Prophet anointed him to become king of Israel, and he turned out to be a marvel in his day. He killed and decapitated Goliath as a stripling. Saul was the King of Israel at the time, and he was a great man of war, but when he faced Goliath, he was terrified. The difference was that the Spirit of God had departed from Saul, and the Spirit had come upon David. Saul had become an ordinary man, whilst David had the Spirit. 1 Samuel 18:7 says, “And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.” What were they seeing in the spirit? “Ten times more!” They could have said “twelve” or “six”; but they said, “…Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.” There’s something about the Spirit that causes you to do the extraordinary and unimaginable!Now that you’re born again, that Spirit is in you, not just on you. Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you….” The Holy Spirit has brought the glory of God into your life, giving you guidance and direction. You can walk through “walls,” blaze through barriers, and through the darkness. He’s filled you with supernatural ability to do things that can’t be humanly explained.Take advantage of the person, power, and ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life! He’s your advantage; He causes you to see, think, say and do things ordinary men can’t do.

CONFESSION
By the power of the Holy Ghost, there’s a profuse demonstration of the supernatural in my ministry, job, business, finances, health, family, and everything that concerns me. My path is that of the just which shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.Glor to God!

“우리가 이처럼 큰 구원을 소홀히 여기고서야 어떻게 피할 수 있으리요? 이 구원은 맨 먼저 주께서 말씀하기 시작하신 것이요 그분께 들은 자들에 의해서 우리도 확증되었으니 하나님께서도 자신의 뜻에 따라 표적들과 이적들, 다양한 기적들과 성령의 은사들로써 그들에게 증거하셨느니라”(히 2:3-4, 한글킹제임스)

한글킹제임스로 읽은 오늘의 본문구절에서 밑줄 친 부분은 성령의 은사들을 언급하는 것처럼 보이지만, 실제로는 그런 의미가 아닙니다. 오늘의 본문구절에서 “은사”로 번역된 헬라어 단어는 고린도전서 12장에 나오는 “카리스마(charisma)”가 아니라 “메리스모스(merismos)”인데 그 의미는 “나누어준 것들(distributions)”입니다. 두에랭스 성경(the Douray-Rheims Bible)은 실제로 더 명확하게 번역했습니다. “하나님께서도 자신의 뜻에 따라 표적과 이적들과 다양한 기적들과 성령이 나누어주신 것들을 통해 그들에게 증언하셨느니라(God also bearing them witness by signs, and wonders, and divers miracles, and distributions of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will).” 성경이 말하는 “성령이 나누어주신 것”이란 무슨 뜻입니까?

우선, 이 부분을 적절한 관점에서 살펴봅시다. 표적과 이적과 특별한 기적들을 일으키는 사람들이 누구였습니까? 바로 부활하신 그리스도를 증언한 초기의 증인들인 사도들이었습니다! 하나님은 그들을 통해 표적과 이적과 기적 및 “성령이 나누어주신 것”을 행하셨습니다! 사도행전 5:12는 “사도들의 손을 통하여 민간에 표적과 기사가 많이 일어나매…”라고 말씀합니다.

오늘날 우리는 누구입니까? 고린도전서 4:1은 우리가 사역자 혹은 새 언약의 종 된 그리스도의 비밀을 맡은 “일꾼”이라고 말씀합니다. 우리는 새 언약을 “섬기고” 있습니다. 어떤 식당에 들어갔는데 종업원이 섬기고 있는 장면을 상상해 보십시오. 우리는 식당에서 손님들을 섬기는 종업원과 같습니다. 다만 다른 점은 우리는 생명을 섬긴다는 것입니다! 우리는 성령과 의와 신약의 축복들을 섬깁니다. 할렐루야!

하나님의 사람들을 위해 기도할 때, 저는 “예수 이름으로 여러분을 축복합니다. 말씀과 하나님의 임재와 성령으로 여러분을 축복합니다.”라고 말합니다. 저는 그리스도의 축복을 나누어주고 있는 것입니다! 이 땅에서 이런 일을 하라고 하나님께서는 그분의 사역자이자 대사로 우리를 부르신 것입니다. 우리는 신성한 축복을 나누어주는 자들입니다. 하나님이 우리에게 기름 부으셨으므로, 우리는 성령님을 힘입어서 이 은혜를 나누어주고 모든 곳에서 삶을 변화시켜야 합니다.

DISPENSERS OF DIVINE BLESSINGS

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? (Hebrews 2:3-4).

Our opening scripture in the King James Version seems to portray the underlined portion as referring to the gifts of the Spirit, but that’s not what it means. The word translated “gifts” above isn’t the Greek word “charisma,” like you have in 1 Corinthians 12; rather, it’s from the Greek word “merismos,” which means “distributions.” The DouayꠓRheims translation actually puts it in a better light. It reads, “God also bearing them witness by signs, and wonders, and divers miracles, and distributions of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will.” What does the Scripture mean by “the distributions of the Holy Ghost?” First, let’s put this in proper perspective: Who were those that performed the signs and wonders, and special miracles? It was the Apostles?the early witnesses that bore testimony to the resurrected Christ! God performed signs, wonders, miracles, and “distributions of the Holy Ghost” through them! Acts 5:12 says, “And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people….”Who are we today? The Bible says we’re ministers or “servants” of the New Testament; stewards of the mysteries of Christ (1 Corinthians 4:1). We “serve” the New Testament. Imagine coming into a restaurant and being served by a waiter. We’re like that waiter who serves in a restaurant; but the difference is, we serve life! We serve the Spirit, righteousness and the blessings of the New Testament. Hallelujah! When I pray for God’s people, and say to them, “I bless you in the Name of Jesus; I bless you with the Word; with His presence; and with the Holy Ghost,” I’m distributing the blessings of Christ! This is what He’s called us to do as His ministers and ambassadors in the earth; we’re dispensers of divine blessings. He’s anointed us, and we’re to distribute this grace by the Spirit and change lives everywhere.

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the privilege of being a minister of the New Testament, hence a conveyor of eternal verities. I’ll extend your blessings to others through the Spirit, and spread your grace to the ends of the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“요한이 감옥에 갇힌 후, 예수께서 갈릴리로 오셔서 하나님의 나라[왕국]의 복음을 전파하시며”(막 1:14, 한글킹제임스)

예수님은 오셔서 하나님의 왕국의 복음을 전하셨습니다. 그분은 때가 찼으며, 하나님의 왕국이 가까이 왔다고 말씀하셨습니다(막 1:15). 하나님의 왕국은 무엇일까요?

무엇보다 먼저, 하나님의 왕국은 장소가 아니라 하나님이 주와 지배자가 되셔서 다스리시고 책임을 지시며 그분 자신 곧 그분의 영광과 선하심을 나타내시는 그분의 통치입니다.

그렇기 때문에 사람들이 “하나님의 왕국은 저기에 있다” 또는 “하나님의 왕국은 여기에 있다”고 말할 때 예수님은 “이를 믿지 말라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님의 왕국은 볼 수 있게 임하지 않고 당신 안에 있기 때문입니다(눅 17:20-21). 하나님의 계획은 사람들의 심령에 하나님의 왕국을 세우는 것인데, 그 왕국은 영적인 왕국입니다.

요한복음 18:36-37에서 예수님이 빌라도 앞으로 끌려 나오신 대목을 떠올려보십시오. 빌라도가 예수님께 몇 가지 질문을 하자, 예수님은 다음과 같이 대답하셨습니다. “…내 나라[왕국]는 이 세상에 속한 것이 아니니라…”(요 18:36) 하나님의 왕국이 물리적인 구조는 아닌데도 예수님은 “하나님의 왕국이 왔다”고 말씀하셨습니다. 사실, 하나님의 왕국은 왔습니다. 즉 당신의 심령에 있습니다. 예수님이 전하신 왕국의 복음은 이것입니다. “모든 사람이여, 하나님의 왕국은 이제 그대들의 심령에 세워질 수 있다. 하나님의 왕국은 도래했다! 믿는 자는 누구나 지금 하나님의 본부와 작전센터가 될 수 있다.” 이 일은 아브라함과 모세와 엘리야와 다윗과 솔로몬과 구약의 족장 시대에는 불가능했지만, 오늘 우리의 시대에는 가능합니다.

예수님은 이 땅에 오셨을 때 그분 안에 있는 하나님의 왕국을 가져오셨습니다. 그분을 영접한 우리의 심령에는 하나님의 왕국이 있습니다. 하나님의 평화와 아름다움과 영광과 은혜와 생명이 당신의 심령에 세워졌습니다! 하나님은 지금 당신 안에 거하고 계십니다. 하나님이 우리에게 가져오셨고 또 우리를 데려가신 생명은 어떤 생명입니까! 놀라운 복음입니다!

기도
사랑하는 아버지, 제 심령에 하나님의 왕국을 세워주심으로 말미암아 제 안에 영광의 생명을 가져오시니 감사드립니다. 제 생명은 아버지의 영광을 위한 것임을 선언합니다. 그러므로 저는 아버지의 덕과 탁월함과 완전하심과 아름다움을 나타냅니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HIS KINGDOM IN OUR HEARTS

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God (Mark 1:14).

Jesus came preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. He said the time was fulfilled; and that the Kingdom of God was near (Mark 1:15). What is the Kingdom of God? First, the Kingdom of God isn’t a place; it’s the reign of God, where He becomes Lord; where He becomes the Boss, and rules; where He’s in charge, and expresses Himself—His glory and His goodness. That’s why Jesus said when they tell you “the Kingdom of God is over there,” or “it’s over here,” don’t believe it, because the Kingdom doesn’t come by observation; it’s within you (Luke 17:20-21). God’s plan is to set up His Kingdom in the hearts of men; but it’s a spiritual kingdom. Recall when Jesus was brought before Pilate, in John 18:36-37; Pilate asked Him some questions to which He responded, “…My Kingdom is not of this world…” (John 18:36). God’s Kingdom isn’t a physical structure, yet Jesus said, “It has come.” Indeed, it has; it’s in your heart. The Gospel of the Kingdom that Jesus preached is, “Hello everybody, God’s Kingdom can be set up now in your hearts; it has arrived! Anyone who believes can now become God’s headquarters and operating centre.” This wasn’t possible in the days of Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, David, Solomon and the patriarchs of old; but it is in our day. When Jesus came, He brought the Kingdom in Him. Now that we’ve received Him, we have the Kingdom in our hearts: the peace, the beauty, the glory, grace, and the life of God have been set up in your heart! God is at home in you now. What a life He’s brought to us, and brought us into! What a Gospel!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the Kingdom of God has been set up in my heart, thus bringing into me, the life of righteousness. I declare that my life is for your glory, and I show forth your virtues, excellence, perfections, and beauty, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

오늘의 본문구절에 나오는 “속죄(속량)”라는 말은 헬라어 “뤼트로시스(lutrosis)”를 번역한 것인데, 그 의미는 ‘몸값을 지불하다, 구출하다, 구원하다, 곤경에서 빼내다’ 입니다. 주 예수님은 십자가에서 인간을 죄에서 속량하셨는데, 그분의 피가 온 세상의 죄로 인해 드려진 희생이었습니다. 그런 다음 그분이 장사되셨는데, 하나님이 삼 일만에 죽은 자들로부터 그분을 부활 생명인 새 생명으로 일으키셨습니다. 예수님을 믿는 사람은 누구나 이와 똑같은 부활 생명을 받은 자입니다.

이제 당신은 하나님의 것입니다. 당신은 예수님이 십자가에서 죽으셨을 때 마귀로부터 “구출된” 자가 아닙니다. 당신은 “구출된” 자가 아니라, 사탄과 세상과 결함이 있는 세상의 시스템과 요소보다 우월하게 태어난 새로운 피조물입니다. 당신은 하나님과 같은 부류의 존재입니다. “이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희가 정욕 때문에 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신성한 성품에 참여하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨느니라”(벧후 1:4)

기도
자애로우신 아버지, 저를 모든 불의에서 깨끗케 하신 예수님의 보혈로 인해 감사드립니다. 저는 새로운 피조물이요 하나님과 같은 부류의 존재입니다. 제가 그리스도 안에서 가지고 있는 의의 생명에 대해 감사드립니다. 저는 제 삶에 역사하는 아버지의 능력과 영광을 기뻐합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

PURCHASED BY BLOOD

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us (Hebrews 9:12).

The word “redemption” as used in our opening scripture is from the Greek, “lutrosis,” which means to ransom, deliver, save, or bring out of trouble. The Lord Jesus redeemed man from sin at the cross, and His blood became the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. Then He was buried, and on the third day, God raised Him from the dead with a new life, the resurrection life. This same resurrection life is what everyone who believes in Him has received. Thus, being born again, you’re not the “redeemed”; you’re the fruit of Christ’s redemptive work; you have the resurrection life. Some people get confused when they study portions of the Scriptures where the new creation is described as “redeemed.” For instance, in Revelation 5:9, the Bible says, “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.” The word “redeemed” here is wrongly translated; it’s from the Greek, “agorazo,” which means to make a purchase; to buy something as a gift to give to someone. It’s not a buyback, as is the case with “lutrosis”; it’s a fresh purchase. Christ purchased us with His blood, and gave us as gifts to God. Several translations actually give a proper rendering of that verse. The New International Version says, “… with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.” The Living Bible says, “…for you were slain, and your blood has bought people from every nation as gifts for God.” You’re a gift, purchased for God by Jesus; He bought you with a price—His blood! Now, you belong to God. You’re not the person that was “delivered” from the devil when Jesus died on the cross; you’re a new creation, born superior to Satan, the world and its failing systems, and elements. You’re an associate of the God-kind: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:4).

PRAYER
Gracious Father, I thank you for the precious blood of Jesus by which I’ve been cleansed from all unrighteousness. I’m a new creation; an associate of the God-kind, grateful for the life of righteousness which I have in Christ. I rejoice over your power and glory working in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“네 입의 말로 네가 얽혔으며 네 입의 말로 인하여 잡히게 되었느니라”(잠 6:2)

그리스도인에게는 영적인 언어가 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 하나님의 자녀인 당신은 입술에 말씀을 두어야 합니다. 초자연적인 삶은 당신의 혀에 기초하기 때문입니다. 당신의 혀가 당신의 삶을 주관합니다. 마태복음 12:36-37에서 예수님이 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너희에게 이르노니 사람이 무슨 무익한 말을 하든지 심판 날에 이에 대하여 심문을 받으리니 네 말로 의롭다 함을 받고 네 말로 정죄함을 받으리라”

이 구절이 말하는 의미는 문자 그대로 사람이 자기가 한 말 때문에 하늘 아니면 지옥으로 갈 것이라는 뜻입니다. 로마서 10:8-10에 나오는 구원에 대한 사도 바울의 진술을 읽어보십시오. “…네가 만일 네 입으로 예수를 주로 시인하며 또 하나님께서 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 받으리라 사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라”

사도 야고보는 혀를 선장이 원하는 방향으로 조종하기 위해 사용하는 선박의 방향타에 비유했습니다(약 3:4-5). 마찬가지로 당신의 삶은 당신이 한 말을 특징적으로 드러냅니다. 당신이 한 말이 건전하면 당신의 삶 역시 온전하고 탁월하며 영광으로 가득할 것입니다. 잠언 15:4(한글킹제임스)은 말씀합니다. “온순한 혀는 곧 생명나무이지만 패역한 혀는 마음을 상하게 하느니라.” 예수님은 말하는 것을 갖게 된다고 가르치셨습니다(막 11:24).

말하는 것을 조심하십시오. 당신의 고백이 당신의 삶을 주관하기 때문입니다. 당신 자신이 말로 건강과 안전과 형통과 승리를 지킬 수 있습니다. 믿음으로 충만한 고백을 통해 당신을 향한 하나님의 운명의 방향으로 삶을 나아가도록 격려하십시오. 항상 성공과 증가만을 말하십시오.

YOUR WORDS AND YOUR LIFE

Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth (Proverbs 6:2).

There’s a spiritual language for the Christian. That’s why, as a child of God, you ought to put the Word on your lips, because the supernatural life is based on your tongue. Your tongue rules your life. In Matthew 12:36-37, Jesus said, “But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Literally, this means a man will go to heaven or hell because of his words. Read the Apostle Paul’s submission about salvation in Romans 10:8-10: “… if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” The Apostle James likened the tongue to the rudder of a great ship, which the captain uses to direct the ship wherever he wants (James 3:4-5). Likewise, your life is the character of your words. If your words are wholesome, your life will be perfect, excellent, and full of glory. Proverbs 15:4 says, “A wholesome tongue is a tree of life….” Jesus taught that what you say, is what you get (Mark 11:23). Watch what you say, for your confessions control your life. You can keep yourself in health, safety, prosperity, and victory with your words. Stir your life in the direction of God’s destiny for you with your faith-filled confessions. Always talk success and increase only. 1 Peter 3:10 says, “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.” Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Create and sustain your glorious life with your words. You can be anything you want to be, have anything you want to have, and achieve anything you want to achieve—with your words.

CONFESSION
My life is excellent and full of glory; I walk in the dominion of the Spirit. My journey in life is upward and forward only. I’m on the path of success, victory and everlasting prosperity; I’m walking in, and fulfilling God’s destiny for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

POWER OF THE SPIRIT

“오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라”(행 1:8)

그리스도인인 우리는 보통 사람이 아닙니다. 우리는 결코 삶의 희생자가 되어서는 안 됩니다. 곤경이나 절체절명의 상황에 처해 있더라도 안심하십시오. 당신은 적대적 상황과는 상관없이 승리하는 데 필요한 것을 가지고 있습니다. 당신 안에는 무언가 있는데, 그것은 바로 생명과 아울러서 변화를 일으키는 성령의 역동적인 능력입니다.

그러므로 고군분투하는 삶을 살고 있거나 엄청나게 수고를 하지만 이에 걸맞는 성공을 거두지 못하고 있다면, 당신이 당신 안에 계시는 성령님의 능력을 의식하지 않을뿐더러 제대로 활용하지 못하고 있을 가능성이 있습니다. 바울이 말했습니다. “내게 능력 주시는 자 안에서 내가 모든 것을 할 수 있느니라”(빌 4:13) 그리고 선지자 미가도 이를 확증했습니다. “오직 나는 여호와의 영으로 말미암아 능력과 정의와 용기로 충만해져서…”(미 3:8)

당신 안에 계시는 성령님의 능력을 의식하고 활용하십시오. 그 능력을 통해 당신은 생각지 못하고 상상할 수도 없는 불가능한 일을 할 수 있습니다. “우리 가운데서 역사하시는 능력대로 우리가 구하거나 생각하는 모든 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실 이에게”(엡 3:20) 이것이 바로 기독교이며 다스리는 생명입니다. 당신은 도움과 능력을 구하러 이곳저곳으로 다닐 필요가 없습니다. 당신에게 필요한 모든 능력이 성령님을 통해 당신 안에 있습니다. 그것을 작동시키십시오.

POWER OF THE SPIRIT

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you… (Acts 1:8).

As Christians, we’re not ordinary people; we’re never to be victims in life. If you’ve found yourself in a predicament, a precarious or desperate situation, be comforted; you have what it takes to win, irrespective of the adversity. There’s something in you: the life and dynamic power of the Spirit to effect changes. That word “power” in our opening verse is actually “dunamis” (Greek), and it means dynamic power or ability to cause or effect a change. It refers to miracleworking ability; power and ability that’s beyond yourself! It’s a “doing-power,” and it’s sometimes translated, “might.” It also means the power of excellence; the extraordinary ability to be efficient and effective in all that you do. This is the life we have in Christ—a life of super-productivity and ever-increasing glory by the Holy Ghost! No wonder He says in 2 Corinthians 3:5, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.” Your ability to do anything; the reason you can be successful at anything; your power for excellence and innovativeness is the Holy Ghost in you. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says, “…we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” Therefore, if you’re struggling in your life; if it seems you’re putting in so much effort and recording incommensurate success, the chances are that you’re neither conscious nor taking advantage of the power of the Spirit within you. Paul said, “I can do all things through the ability of Christ in me”; the prophet Micah affirmed, “…truly I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord…” (Micah 3:8). Become conscious, and take advantage of the power of the Spirit within you. Through that power, you can do the unthinkable, the unimaginable, and the impossible: “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20). This is Christianity; it’s a life of dominion. You don’t need to go from place to place looking for help and seeking power; all the power you need is in you through the Holy Ghost. Put it to work.

CONFESSION
The Lord perfects all that concerns me; His power is at work in me, causing me to will and do that which pleases Him at all times. I’m fulfilling my destiny in Christ, and the Lord is glorified in me today, and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
