그들을 포기하지 마십시오

Don’t Give Up On Them

“형제들아 사람이 만일 무슨 범죄한 일이 드러나거든 신령한 너희는 온유한 심령으로 그러한 자를 바로잡고 너 자신을 살펴보아 너도 시험을 받을까 두려워하라”(갈 6:1)

우리는 그리스도인이자 영혼구원자로써 누가 우리 공동체 안에서 길을 잃거나 떨어져 나갔는지 관심을 가져야 합니다. 우리는 그 누구도 포기하지 않습니다. 주님께서는 우리가 모든 영혼들에 대해 책임감을 갖기를 원하십니다.

요한복음 17:12에 있는 예수님의 말씀은 주님께서 교회에 더해주신 사람들에 대한 일을 할 때 항상 우리의 영감이 되어야 합니다. “내가 그들과 함께 있을 때에 내게 주신 아버지의 이름으로 그들을 보전하고 지키었나이다 그 중의 하나도 멸망하지 않고 다만 멸망의 자식뿐이오니 이는 성경을 응하게 함이니이다” 주 예수님은 하나님께서 그에게 주신 모든 영혼을 책임지셨습니다.

영혼구원에는 반드시 책임이 따릅니다. 주님께서 우리에게 주신 영혼들을 책임져야 합니다. 주 예수님께서는 누가복음 15장에서 양 100마리를 가진 목자가 99마리를 남겨두고 광야에서 잃어버린 양 한 마리를 찾으러 가는 우화를 말씀해 주셨습니다.

그 목자는 잃어버린 한 마리를 찾으면 기뻐하며 집으로 돌아와, 친구들과 이웃들을 초청하여 잔치를 엽니다. 그리고 나서 주님께서는 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너희에게 이르노니 이와 같이 죄인 한 사람이 회개하면 하늘에서는 회개할 것 없는 의인 아흔아홉으로 말미암아 기뻐하는 것보다 더하리라”(눅 15:7) 예수님께서는 그때 유대인들에게 사역하고 계셨지만, 주님께로 오지 않은 사람이 아닌 주님으로부터 떨어진 사람을 말씀하신 것입니다.

교회에 한 번도 가본 적이 없는 사람과 교회 안에 있다가 떠난 사람 사이에는 차이가 있습니다. 우리는 그들을 다시 되찾기 위해 그들에게 다가가야 합니다. 그들에게 그리스도의 사랑을 나누고, 그들을 위해 계속 중보 하십시오.

성경은 당신이 그들이 되찾을 때 천국에 큰 기쁨이 있을 것이라고 말합니다. 할렐루야!

기도

주님, 교회 안에 있었지만 어떤 이유로든지 떠나게 된 모든 사람들을 당신의 은혜와 자비로 찾도록 기도합니다. 당신을 향한 그들의 사랑이 다시 불붙고, 당신의 말씀과 성령의 일들에 대한 새로운 갈망이 생기도록 기도합니다. 또한 나는 그리스도께서 그들 안에 거하셔서 그들이 믿음과 당신의 사랑 가운에 깊이 뿌리를 내리게 되기를 기도합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Don’t Give Up On Them

“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness…”(Galatians 6:1).

As Christians and soul winners, we should be concerned enough to know if anyone in our congregation has strayed away or fallen by the wayside. We’re never to give up on anyone. The Lord expects us to account for every soul.

The words of Jesus in John 17:12 should be our inspiration always in dealing with those that the Lord adds to the Church. He said, “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled” (John 17:12). The Lord Jesus accounted for every soul that God gave Him.

Soul winning must have accountability; we have to be accountable for the souls the Lord has given to us. In Luke 15, the Lord Jesus told the parable of a shepherd with one hundred sheep who left the ninety-nine to go search for the one that got missing in the wilderness.

When he found it, he carried it home rejoicing, and invited his friends and neighbours to celebrate. Then, the Master said, “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance” (Luke 15:7). Here, Jesus was ministering to the Jews, but He wasn’t talking about one who had never come to the Lord, but one who had strayed away.

There’s a difference between the one who has never been in the Church and the one who’s been in Church but strayed away. We must go after them to win them back. So, today, call or visit that brother, sister or family that you know hasn’t been coming to Church. Share the love of Christ with them and keep interceding for them.

When you win them back, the Bible says there’ll be great joy in heaven. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Lord, I pray that your grace and mercy locate everyone who’s been in the Church, but for some reason has strayed away; may their love for you be rekindled, birthing a fresh appetite for your Word and the things of the Spirit. I pray that as Christ is formed in them, they’d be deeply rooted and grounded in faith and in your love, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Triumphant In Christ

“항상 우리를 그리스도 안에서 이기게 하시고 우리로 말미암아 각처에서 그리스도를 아는 냄새를 나타내시는 하나님께 감사하노라”(고후 2:14)

성경 시대에도 오늘날과 마찬가지로 많은 악이 존재했습니다. 그 당시 세상도 오늘날과 마찬가지로 악하고 어두웠습니다. 현재 세상은 몹시 고통스러운 시간을 겪고 있지만, 성경은 이러한 일들이 새롭지 않음을 분명히 보여줍니다. “이미 있던 것이 후에 다시 있겠고 이미 한 일을 후에 다시 할지라 해 아래에는 새 것이 없나니”(전 1:9)

그 당시에도 지금과 같은 경제적 어려움, 속임수, 공포, 테러가 있었습니다. 그것들은 그때나 지금이나 사람들을 억압하기 위해 대적이 사용하는 속임수입니다. 그러나 우리 하나님은 세세토록 신실하십니다. 그분은 우리를 영원한 승리로 인도하십니다. 이 세상에 어떤 어둠이 있든지 두려워하지 마십시오.

요한일서 4:4은 말합니다. “자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라” 하나님께서는 어둠 가운데서 당신의 승리, 승진, 번영을 예정하셨습니다. 그분은 당신 주변에서 어떤 일이 일어나든지 당신이 성공하도록 이미 계획하셨습니다.

고백

아버지, 내 삶에 있는 당신의 영광에 감사드립니다. 내게 줄로 재어준 구역이 아름다운 곳에 있고, 아름다운 기업을 주시니 감사합니다. 나는 부요와 건강 가운데 살며 행합니다. 내 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크십니다. 나는 하나님의 영광입니다!

Triumphant In Christ

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place”(2 Corinthians 2:14).

There was as much evil in Bible days, as there is today; the world was just as wicked and dark back then, as it is today. The world today might be experiencing terribly agonizing times, but the Bible clearly shows that these things are not new: “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9).

There were economic hardships, deceptions, fears, terrorism back then as there are today. These were, and are still tricks the adversary uses to oppress people. But our God is faithful throughout all generations. He leads us in perpetual triumph. It doesn’t matter the darkness in the world, refuse to fear.

1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” God has ordained your victory, promotion, and prosperity in the midst of darkness. He already planned that you’ll be a success in this life, irrespective of what’s going on in the world around you.

CONFESSION

I thank you, Father, for your glory in my life, for making the lines to fall unto me in pleasant places and giving me a goodly heritage. I live and walk in wealth, and health; greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world. I’m the glory of God!

예수 이름 안에 있는 치유와 건강

Healing And Health In His Name

“그 이름을 믿으므로 그 이름이 너희가 보고 아는 이 사람을 성하게 하였나니 예수로 말미암아 난 믿음이 너희 모든 사람 앞에서 이같이 완전히 낫게 하였느니라”(행 3:16)

우리가 예수 이름을 사용할 때 할 수 있고 가질 수 있는, 즉 우리가 경험할 수 있는 축복과 영광은 정말 대단합니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용을 생각해 보십시오! 예수 이름은 치유와 건강을 가져옵니다. 당신의 몸에 완전한 건강을 가져옵니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

복음서 전반에 걸쳐 사람들이 예수님의 옷자락을 만지고 즉각적인 치유를 받은 다양한 사례를 볼 수 있습니다. 예를 들어, 누가복음 8장에 나오는 혈루증을 앓는 여인이 그렇습니다. 성경은 그녀가 예수님 뒤로 와서 “그의 옷 가에 손을 대니 혈루증이 즉시 그쳤더라”(눅 8:44)고 말합니다.

이 구절에서 “가”라는 단어는 헬라어로 “크라스페돈(Kraspedon)”이며 “옷자락” 또는 “옷술”을 의미합니다. 또한 마태복음 14장을 보면 예수님께서 게네사렛 땅에 도착하시자 사람들이 그분께 치유 받기 위해 몰렸습니다. 성경은 그들이 “다만 예수의 옷자락에라도 손을 대게 하시기를 간구하니 손을 대는 자는 다 나음을 얻으니라”(마 14:36)고 말합니다.

주님께서는 아무 일도 하실 필요가 없었습니다. 사람들에게 필요한 것은 그분의 옷자락이나 옷술에 손을 대는 것뿐이었습니다. 그리고 그들은 치유를 받았습니다. 그러나 오늘날 우리는 더 영광스럽습니다! 당신은 그분의 옷자락을 만질 필요가 없습니다. 그분의 이름을 말할 때 모든 질병이 무릎 꿇습니다. 암은 사라집니다. 불구였거나 움직일 수 없었던 팔다리가 온전 해집니다. 이제 예수 이름이 해답입니다.

마가복음 6:56은 예수님께서 가시는 곳마다 어떤 일이 일어났는지 말합니다. “아무 데나 예수께서 들어가시는 지방이나 도시나 마을에서 병자를 시장에 두고 예수께 그의 옷 가에라도 손을 대게 하시기를 간구하니 손을 대는 자는 다 성함을 얻으니라” 그 동일한 능력이 현재도 예수 이름 안에서 역사합니다.

예수님께서 우리에게 병든 자를 고치고, 나병환자를 깨끗케 하며, 죽은 자를 살리라고 하신 것은 당연합니다(마 10:8). 마가복음 16:17-18은 말합니다. “믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니… 병든 사람에게 손을 얹은즉 나으리라 하시더라” 하나님을 송축합니다!

기도

주님, 몸이 아픈 당신의 자녀들을 위해 기도합니다. 그들이 오늘날 그 한계와 속박의 자리에서 일어나 치유를 받도록 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 그들 안에 있는 당신의 생명이 그들을 온전하게 합니다. 그들 안에 계신 그리스도께서 몸과 마음에 완전한 건강을 주십니다. 할렐루야!

Healing And Health In His Name

“And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all”(Acts 3:16).

It’s amazing what we can do, what we can have—the blessings and glory we can experience—when we use the Name of Jesus. Think about what we just read in our opening verse! The Name of Jesus brings healing and health; perfect soundness to your body. Glory to God!

Throughout the gospels, you find various instances where people touched the hem of Jesus’ garments and received instant healing; for example, the woman with the issue of blood in Luke 8. The Bible says she came behind Jesus and “touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched” (Luke 8:44).

The word “border” in this verse is “Kraspedon” in Greek and it means “fringes” or “tassels.” Also, in Matthew 14, when Jesus came to the land of Gennesaret, the people of that region rushed to Him for healing, and the Bible says they “besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole” (Matthew 14:36).

The Master didn’t have to do anything; all they needed was to touch the border or fringes of His garment and they were healed. But it’s even more glorious today! You don’t have to touch His garment; at the mention of His Name, every sickness bows; cancers dematerialize; maimed or paralysed limbs are made whole. His Name is the answer today.

In Mark 6:56, the Bible says everywhere Jesus entered: “…villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.” That same power is still available today in His Name.

No wonder He charged us to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers and raise the dead (Matthew 10:8). He said in Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs shall follow them that believe…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Blessed Be God!

PRAYER

Lord, I pray for your children who may be sick in their bodies; that they rise from that place of limitation and bondage today, and be healed, in Jesus’ Name. Your life in them makes them whole; Christ in them brings them perfect soundness of mind and body. Hallelujah!

You’re God’s Hope For The World

“이에 내가 말하기를 하나님이여 보시옵소서 두루마리 책에 나를 가리켜 기록된 것과 같이 하나님의 뜻을 행하러 왔나이다 하셨느니라”(히 10:7)

때때로 우리는 자신이 실제로 세상을 향한 그분의 소망이라는 사실을 깨닫지 못한 채 세상과 고통받는 사람들의 어려움에 대해 하나님께서 무언가를 행하시도록 하려고 합니다. 그러나 우리는 세상을 향해 뻗은 그분의 축복의 손입니다. 그분은 우리를 축복하셨고 우리가 세상에 그분의 축복을 전달하는 자가 되게 하셨습니다.

하나님의 말씀은 그분이 만물을 아름답게 만들었다고 말합니다. 그분은 사람들이 평안, 기쁨, 안전, 번영, 풍성함 가운데 살도록 창조하셨습니다. 그리고 그분은 우리가 지속적으로 그렇게 살기 원하십니다. 우리는 이 땅에서 하나님의 뜻과 일치하지 않는 일들을 보며 변화를 일으켜야 합니다. 우리는 그분의 선하시고, 기뻐하시고, 온전한 뜻이 무엇인지 이 땅에서 입증할 사람들입니다(롬 12:2).

이는 마태복음 18:18의 예수님의 말씀을 생각나게 합니다. “진실로 너희에게 이르노니 무엇이든지 너희가 땅에서 매면 하늘에서도 매일 것이요 무엇이든지 땅에서 풀면 하늘에서도 풀리리라” 이 구절이 의미하는 바를 이해하십시오. 우리는 이 땅에서 하나님의 영광을 드러냅니다. 우리는 그분의 뜻을 나타냅니다. 우리는 하나님의 선한 일들이 이 땅에 나타나게 합니다.

우리는 세상의 모든 것을 점검하여 어떤 것이 하나님의 온전한 뜻에 합당한지 결정하고 그것을 이 땅에 나타내는 사람들입니다. 그것이 우리의 부르심 입니다. 성경이 다음과 같이 말한 것은 당연합니다. “피조물이 고대하는 바는 하나님의 아들들이 나타나는 것이니… 피조물도 썩어짐의 종 노릇 한 데서 해방되어 하나님의 자녀들의 영광의 자유에 이르는 것이니라…”(롬 8:19-22)

우리는 기쁨, 의, 평안, 번영을 가져올 이 세상의 소망입니다. 우리는 타락의 속박에서 세상을 구원하여 하나님의 아들의 영광스러운 자유로 인도할 사람들입니다. 할렐루야!

고백

나는 내 세상을 향해 뻗으신 하나님의 축복의 팔입니다. 나는 상처받은 세상의 소망의 등대입니다. 주님께서는 나를 통해 그분의 의를 전파하시고, 모든 피조물들에게 새로움, 탁월함, 완전함, 아름다움, 생명을 주시며, 그들을 하나님의 아들의 영광스러운 자유로 인도하십니다. 할렐루야!

You’re God’s Hope For The World

“Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God”(Hebrews 10:7).

Sometimes, we try to get God to do something about the world, about the plight of suffering humanity, not realizing we’re actually His hope for the world. We’re His outreached arm of blessing to the world. He blessed us, and made us the conveyor of His blessings to our world.

His Word says He made all things beautiful; He created humanity to live in peace, joy, safety, prosperity and abundance. And He wants us to keep things that way. We’re supposed to look at the things happening in the nations that aren’t consistent with the will of God and effect changes. We’re the ones to prove His good, acceptable and perfect will in the earth (Romans 12:2).

It brings to mind the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:18: “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Understand what this means: we give vent to the glory of God in the earth. We give vent to His will. We allow the good things of God to come into this world.

We’re the ones to securitize everything in the world and decide which is acceptable or is in the perfect will of God, and then bring that into this earth. It’s our calling. No wonder the Bible says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God… the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God…” (Romans 8:19-22).

We’re the hope of the world to bring joy, righteousness, peace and prosperity. We’re the ones to deliver the world from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, and we’re at it. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I’m God’s outreached arm of blessing to my world; a beacon of hope to a hurting world. Through me, the Lord spreads His righteousness and brings newness, excellence, perfection, beauty, and life to all creation, delivering them into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Hallelujah!

진리를 알리십시오

Make The Truth Known

“진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라”(요 8:32)

이 마지막 때에 사탄의 전략은 두려움과 속임수로 많은 사람을 파괴시키는 것입니다. 그러나 속임수에 대처하고 바르게 잡는 방법은 진리를 알리는 것입니다.

그래서 우리는 하나님께 말씀의 실재로 인해 감사드립니다. 말씀의 실재를 통해 우리는 날마다 진리가 전 세계 모든 나라에 모든 언어로 알리고 있습니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

말씀의 실재를 전 세계 모든 언어로 만국에 전하여 이 땅 곳곳에 진리를 전파하는 위대한 운동의 일원이 되십시오. 하나님께서는 그분의 백성들을 보호하기 원하십니다. 그분의 백성들을 인도하고 이끌기 원하십니다. 그리고 그분은 그 일을 말씀과 성령님을 통해 하십니다.

하나님의 진리를 알리십시오. 하나님의 말씀을 알지 못하면, 사람들은 속임을 당하고, 도적질 당하고, 멸망합니다. 하나님께서는 “내 백성이 지식이 없으므로 망한다”고 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님을 아는 지식 가운데 의식적으로 성장할 뿐 아니라, 다른 사람들이 말씀을 알 수 있도록 도우십시오.

예수님은 마태복음 28:19에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아 아버지와 아들과 성령의 이름으로 침례를 베풀고” 즉, 사람들에게 진리를 가르치십시오. 어떻게 살아야 하는지 보여주고 그들이 속지 않도록 하십시오. 하나님의 말씀을 모르는 사람들은 모두 어둠 속에 있습니다. 하나님의 말씀이 진리이자 빛이기 때문입니다.

성령님이 없는 사람도 이와 같습니다. 성령님은 진리의 영이시기 때문입니다. 성령님은 당신을 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하셔서 당신이 진리 안에서 행할 뿐 아니라 다른 사람들에게 그 진리를 알리게 하십니다.

그분의 진리(말씀)는 당신의 방패와 손 방패입니다(시 91:4). 그렇기 때문에 당신은 말씀에 주의를 기울여야 합니다. 말씀은 당신을 자유케 하고 어둠을 물리칩니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내가 진리 안에 머물고 행하게 하며 당신의 완전한 뜻 안에서 살게 하시는 당신의 말씀에 감사드립니다. 전세계에 있는 당신의 자녀들이 당신의 진리를 알릴 때, 당신의 의가 온 세상에 세워집니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Make The Truth Known

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”(John 8:32).

In these last days, the strategy of the enemy is to destroy many with fear and deception. But the way to tackle and cure the effects of deception is by making the truth known.

That’s why we’re so grateful to God for Rhapsody of Realities. Through it, we’re making the truth known every day, in every nation and in every known and living language of the world. Blessed be God!

Be a part of the great crusade of spreading the truth to the nooks and crannies of the earth through the distribution of Rhapsody Of Realities in all languages of the world to all nations. God wants to protect His people. He wants to guide and lead His people; and He does this through the Word and the Holy Spirit.

Let’s make His truth known. When people don’t know the Word of God, they get deceived, robbed and destroyed. God said, “My people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge.” Not only should you consciously increase in your knowledge of God, help others to know the Word.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations….” In other words, teach them the truth; show them how to live so they’re not deceived. Anyone who’s ignorant of the Word of God is in darkness; because the Word of God is truth and light.

It’s the same for anyone who’s destitute of the Holy Spirit, for the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. He’s the One who guides you into all truth so you can, not only walk in truth, but also make it known to others.

His truth (His Word) is your shield and buckler (Psalms 91:4). That’s why you need to have your attention on the Word; it liberates you and dispels the darkness.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your Word that causes me to walk and stay in truth and walk in your perfect will. As your children all around the world make your truth known, your righteousness is established around the world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

His Authority Is For Our Benefit

“또 만물을 그의 발 아래에 복종하게 하시고 그를 만물 위에 교회의 머리로 삼으셨느니라”(엡 1:22)

예수 그리스도의 교회는 강력하며 무적인 세력입니다. 어떤 기관, 정권, 정부 또는 단체도 교회에 대항할 수 없습니다. 존재하는 모든 통치자, 정권, 정부 및 권세를 다스리는 예수님의 통치권과 다스리는 위치는 교회의 유익을 위한 것입니다.

교회는 그리스도와 함께 보좌에 앉아 있습니다. 우리는 그리스도 안에 있는 우리의 권세에 대해 완전히 알아야 합니다. 성경은 예수님에 대해 “모든 통치와 권세와 능력과 주권과 이 세상뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 일컫는 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나게 하시고”(엡 1:21)라고 말합니다. 이어서 나오는 22절이 오늘의 본문 구절입니다.

“또 만물을 그의 발 아래에 복종하게 하시고 그를 만물 위에 교회의 머리로 삼으셨느니라”(엡 1:22) 하나님은 교회의 유익을 위해 그리스도에게 이 권세를 주셨습니다. 하나님은 그 일을 이미 하셨습니다! 예수님에게 주어진 모든 위치와 권세는 우리(교회)가 사용하지 않으면 아무 소용이 없습니다. 우리가 사용해야 합니다. 그분께서는 우리에게 예수 이름을 주셔서 우리가 사탄을 저지하고 상황을 다스리게 하셨습니다.

그분께서는 우리가 그분의 의와 영광과 은혜로 이 세상을 맡아서 다스리고 제압하게 하셨습니다. 그래서 당신은 날마다 “나는 사탄과 이 세상의 초등 학문을 다스리고 통치한다!”고 확언해야 합니다. 할렐루야!

삶의 그 무엇에도 압도당하지 마십시오. 예수님의 권세를 사용하십시오. 그분의 이름을 사용하십시오. 그분의 이름에 모든 권세가 속했습니다. 그분의 이름을 날마다 사용하십시오.

기도

예수님은 모든 능력과 권세를 가지고 계십니다. 그분은 모든 왕, 대통령, 정부보다 높으십니다. 그리고 이제 그 위대한 이름 안에서 나는 사람들에게 영향을 끼치고, 문제를 일으키고, 이 땅에서 하나님의 선하심을 경험하는 것을 막는 어둠의 세력들에 맞섭니다. 그들의 수고와 속임수는 헛되고 무익합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

His Authority Is For Our Benefit

“God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church”(Ephesians 1:22 NLT).

The Church of Jesus Christ is a mighty, indomitable force. No institution, power, government or entity can stand against it. This is because the dominion and rulership of Jesus over principalities and powers; over every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence, is for the benefit of the Church.

The Church is enthroned with Him. We should be fully aware of our authority in Christ. The Bible says about Jesus, “Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come” (Ephesians 1:21 NLT). The 22nd verse is what we read in our theme verse.

It says, “God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church” (Ephesians 1:22 NLT). God gave Christ this authority for the benefit of the Church. He’s already done it! All the title and power given to Jesus will be of no use if we (the Church) don’t use it. It’s ours to use. He gave us His Name so that we could use it to keep Satan in check, and prevail over circumstances.

He has put us in charge of this world, to tame it and overwhelm it with His righteousness, glory and grace. This is why you should affirm every day, “I reign and rule over Satan and the elements of this world!” Hallelujah!

Refuse to be overwhelmed by anything in life; use the authority of Jesus. Use His Name. All authority is vested in His Name; use it every day.

PRAYER

Jesus has all power and authority, and He’s far above all kings, presidents, and governments. And now, in that mighty Name, I stand against the forces of darkness that influence nations against their own people, causing hardship and preventing men from experiencing the goodness of God in the earth. Their efforts are futile, and manipulations, ineffective, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

영혼구원과 전 세계 복음전파에 동참하고 있는 모든 그리스도인은 하나님의 축복의 대상입니다. 하지만 사탄도 그러한 성도들을 자신의 표적으로 삼습니다. 예를 들어, 만약 당신이 하나님의 집에서 아낌없이 주는 자라면, 당신에게 축복을 주기 위해 천국과 천사들이 당신을 예의주시하는 것처럼 사탄도 당신을 공격하기 위해 바라보고 있습니다.

사탄이 무엇을 공격할 수 있겠습니까? 그는 과연 무엇을 위해 공격합니까? 사탄은 당신의 직업을 노리고 있지 않습니다. 그는 당신이 그저 좋은 직업을 가졌기 때문에 복음을 후원하는 것이 아니라는 것을 압니다. 그는 당신의 돈을 노리지도 않습니다. 당신의 재정을 공격하면 당신은 항상 더 많은 것을 얻게 됨을 알기 때문입니다. 그가 노리는 것은 당신의 삶에 있는 하나님의 말씀입니다. 그는 말씀이 당신의 비결임을 알고 있습니다. 사탄은 말씀이 당신의 영감이자 힘임을 알고 있습니다.

오늘의 본문 구절은 말합니다. “정신을 차리라. 깨어 있으라.”(벧전 5:8, 한글킹제임스) 당신의 심령에 있는 말씀을 지키십시오. 말씀을 묵상함으로 항상 영 깊은 곳에 말씀을 두십시오. 말씀이 당신을 가르치는 교제 가운데 늘 거하십시오. 주 안에서 항상 기뻐하십시오.

하나님의 일과 하나님의 집에 더욱 헌신할수록 당신은 더욱 영 안에서 깨어 사랑과 겸손으로 행할 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀의 지식 안에서 계속 성장하십시오. 자주 방언으로 기도하십시오. 성령 충만하게 지내십시오. 그러면 당신은 항상 영적으로 깨어 있고 민감하게 지낼 것입니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내가 가야 할 길을 인도하고 지시하는 아버지의 말씀에 감사드립니다. 복음전파에 헌신할 수 있는 특권과 축복에 감사드립니다. 나는 그 무엇도 복음을 향한 나의 최선과 열정을 빼앗아 가게 두지 않습니다. 나는 성령으로 충만하고, 언제나 영적으로 민감한 상태를 유지합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Be Mindful Of Satan’s Antics

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”(1 Peter 5:8).

Every Christian who is effective in soul winning and the spread of the Gospel around the world is marked by God for blessings. Satan also targets such saints. If you’re a good giver in the house of God, for example, just as Heaven and the angels mark you for blessings, Satan also marks you for attacks.

What does Satan attack? What does he go for? It’s not just your job; he knows you’re not sponsoring the Gospel just because you have a good job. It’s not your money either, for he knows if he attacks your finances, you can always get more. What he goes for is the Word of God in your life. He knows that that’s your secret; he knows the Word is your inspiration and strength.

You weren’t committed to the things of God and to giving financially in the house of God until you heard the Word that changed your life and made you commit your life and resources to the spread of Gospel of Jesus Christ. So, it’s about the Word! The devil will try to take the Word away from you or discourage you. He’ll try to keep you away from the church or cause trouble between you and whoever teaches you the Word.

As the opening verse says, “be sober, be vigilant…” (1 Peter 5:8). Guard the Word in your heart. Always drive it deep into your spirit through meditation. Continue evermore in the fellowship where the Word is being taught you, rejoicing in the Lord always.

The more committed you are to the things of God and in the house of God, the more vigilant you ought to be in the spirit, walking in love and humility. Keep increasing in the knowledge of God’s Word, and speak in tongues often. Be filled with the Spirit, and your spiritual alertness and sensitivity will always be at its peak.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your Word which guides and directs me in the way that I should go. Thank you for the privilege and blessing of being committed to the spread of the Gospel. I refuse to allow anything to dissipate my zeal or prevent me from putting my best in the Gospel. I’m filled with the Spirit, spiritually sensitive and alert at all times, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You’re Highly Favoured

“너희는 하나님으로부터 나서 그리스도 예수 안에 있고 예수는 하나님으로부터 나와서 우리에게 지혜와 의로움과 거룩함과 구원함이 되셨으니”(고전 1:30)

그리스도인인 당신의 삶에 임한 하나님의 호의는 당신을 꼬리가 아닌 머리가 되도록 구별하고 자격을 부여했습니다. 당신은 최고가 되고, 또 최고를 받도록 만들어졌습니다. 시편 5:12은 말합니다. “여호와여 주는 의인에게 복을 주시고 방패와 같은 은혜로 그를 호위하시리이다.”

당신은 살면서 언제나 자신이 하나님의 신성한 호의를 받았다는 사실을 끊임없이 의식해야 합니다. 에베소서 1:6은 하나님이 우리를 하나님의 사랑하시는 아들 안에서 받아들여지도록 만드셨다고 말합니다. 여기서 받아들여졌다는 단어는 헬라어 “카리토(charitoo)”로 상당한 호의를 받았다는 뜻입니다.

오늘의 본문 구절에서 바울이 고린도의 그리스도인들이 거룩하게 되었다고 말한 것은 이와 동일한 뜻을 가지고 있습니다. “거룩함”이라는 단어는 헬라어 “하기아스모스(hagiasmos)”로부터 비롯되었는데, 이는 하나님을 위해 구별된, 그리스도 안에서 독특하게 부름 받았다는 뜻입니다. 당신은 하나님과 친구가 되었습니다.

누가복음 2:52은 주님에 관해 이렇게 말합니다. “예수는 지혜와 키가 자라가며 하나님과 사람에게 더욱 사랑스러워 가시더라.” 당신도 이와 같은 사람이라는 사실을 알고 계셨습니까? 당신은 하나님과 사람에게 호의를 받았습니다. 그러므로 날마다 호의를 받아들이십시오. 당신의 삶은 하나님의 신성한 호의로 아름다워졌습니다. 매일 자신에 대해 이렇게 선포하십시오. 할렐루야!

고백

You’re Highly Favoured

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption”(1 Corinthians 1:30).

As a Christian, the favour of God upon your life has distinguished and qualified you to be the head and not the tail; to be the best and receive the best. Psalm 5:12 says, “For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”

In your life, be forever conscious that you’re divinely favoured. Ephesians 1:6 says He has made us accepted in the beloved. The word accepted there is the Greek, “charitoō” which refers to being highly favoured.

It’s the same word that the angel brought to Mary in Luke 1:28: “And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.” If the angel were to come to you today, he’ll use the same expressions, because it’s already written concerning you that you’re blessed and highly favoured!

This is what Paul was telling the Christians in Corinth in our theme verse when he called them sanctified. The word “sanctification” is from the Greek “hagiasmos” and it means to be separated unto God, to be distinguished in Christ. You’ve become friends with God.

Luke 2:52 says concerning the Master, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Did you know that the same is true about you? You have favour with God and with man. Therefore, in your life, welcome favours every day. Your life has been beautified with divine favours from God. Affirm this every day about yourself. Hallelujah.

CONFESSION

The favour of God upon my life has qualified me to be the best and receive the best. Today and always, in every place and in all that I do, God’s supernatural favour is manifested in my behalf. It opens doors and opportunities to me that can’t be humanly explained. I’m conscious of the favour-factor. Hallelujah!

Authority Over All The Powers Of The Enemy

“내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력(power)을 제어할 권능(power)을 주었으니 너희를 해칠 자가 결코 없으리라”(눅 10:19)

“능력”이라는 단어는 오늘의 본문 구절에서 두 번 언급되었지만, 이 둘은 같은 의미가 아닙니다. “권능을 주었으니…”에서 사용된 단어는 권세를 의미하는 헬라어 “엑소시아(exousia)”에서 번역되었습니다. “원수의 모든 능력”에서 사용한 단어는 헬라어 “두나미스(dunamis)”로 능력, 실력 또는 일을 뜻합니다. 예수님께서는 우리에게 원수의 능력, 실력, 일을 다스리는 절대적인 권세를 주셨습니다.

권세와 능력에는 차이가 있습니다. 한 나라의 대통령을 예로 들어보겠습니다. 그의 개인적인 실력으로는 한 나라의 군대를 움직일 수 없지만 그에게는 국가의 권세가 있습니다! 그가 군대를 향해 최고 지휘권과 통제권을 행사한다면 그들은 반드시 따라야 합니다!

모든 전쟁 무기로 구비된 군대는 대통령의 명령에 따릅니다. 대통령이 지시를 내리면 그들은 복종할 의무가 있습니다. 군대가 힘과 능력, 무기를 가지고 있지만, 대통령은 권세를 가지고 있습니다. 권세가 모든 것을 바꿉니다.

적군이 얼마나 많은 힘이나 무기를 가지고 있는지는 중요하지 않습니다. 당신은 예수 이름으로 그분의 권세를 받았습니다. 성경은 그분의 이름이 “모든 통치와 권세와 능력과 주권과 이 세상뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 일컫는 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나”(엡 1:21)다고 말합니다. 할렐루야!

이 똑같은 예수님께서 당신에게 “아무것도 너희를 해하지 못하리라”고 말씀하셨다면 당신은 그것을 믿고 행해야 합니다. 예수님께서 요한일서 4:4에서 말씀하신 내용을 읽어보십시오. “자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라.” 영광스러운 소식입니다!

시편 기자가 이렇게 고백한 것도 당연합니다. “여호와는 나의 빛이요 나의 구원이시니 내가 누구를 두려워하리요 여호와는 내 생명의 능력이시니 내가 누구를 무서워하리요”(시 27:1) 당신은 이 땅에서 두려워할 것이 없습니다. 날마다 예수 이름으로 통치하고 다스리십시오. 할렐루야!

고백

그리스도 안에 있는 나의 권세는 완전하고 절대적입니다. 어떤 악한 세력, 귀신, 어둠도 나를 대적할 수 없습니다! 나는 그리스도와 함께 앉아, 정사와 권세와 사탄과 관련된 모든 것 위에서 환경을 다스리고 통치합니다. 할렐루야!

Authority Over All The Powers Of The Enemy

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you”(Luke 10:19).

The word “power” is referenced twice in the verse above. But they don’t exactly mean the same thing. In the first reference where it says, “Behold I give unto you power”; it’s translated from the Greek ‘exousia’ which means authority. The second one is from “dunamis” (Greek), which means power, ability or working. Jesus gave us absolute authority over the power, ability or workings of the adversary.

There’s a difference between authority and ability. Let’s take the president of your country as an example. In his personal capacity, he can’t stand the army of his country. But he’s got the authority of the state behind him! When he exercises supreme command and control over his armed force or the military, they have to comply!

With all their weapons of war, the entire armed forces are at the president’s bidding; when he gives an instruction, they’re obligated to obey. They have power, weight or substance; but the president has authority. Authority changes everything.

It doesn’t matter how much power or force the enemy wields or can gather; you’ve been given authority over him in Jesus’ Name. The Bible says His Name is “high above all other government and authority and power and dominion, and every title of sovereignty used either in this Age or in the Age to come (Ephesians 1:21 WNT). Hallelujah!

When this same Jesus tells you, “nothing shall by any means hurt you,” you better believe and act on it. Read what He tells us in 1 John 4:4: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Glorious news!

No wonder the Psalmist affirmed, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1). You have nothing to fear in this life. Reign and rule in the Name of Jesus every day. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

My authority in Christ is perfect and absolute. No evil, demon or darkness can resist it! I’m seated with Christ, far above principalities and powers and everything that’s connected to Satan. I reign and rule over circumstances. Hallelujah!

진리에 시선을 고정하십시오

Fix Your Gaze On Truth

“진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라”(요 8:32)

진리는 당신을 자유케 하고, 소망을 주고, 축복하고, 변화하게 하고, 영감을 주고, 활력을 줍니다. 그렇다면 진리란 무엇입니까? 바로 하나님의 말씀입니다. 요한복음 17:17은 말합니다. “아버지의 말씀은 진리니이다.” 당신을 모든 진리 안으로 인도하는 일은 성령님의 사역입니다. 이는 하나님께서 당신의 삶을 향해 원하시는 사역입니다. 성령님은 진리의 영이십니다. 진리는 실재입니다.

어느 날 환상 가운데 주님은 저에게 진리를 알고 행하는 것이 얼마나 놀라운 것인지 보여 주셨습니다. 제가 다른 포럼에서 이 내용을 얘기하긴 했지만 반복해서 전달할 만한 가치가 있습니다. 암 진단을 받은 한 남자에 관한 이야기입니다. 그는 앞으로 살 날이 얼마 남지 않았다는 얘기를 들었습니다.

그러나 주님께서 환상 가운데 그 남자를 보여주시며 저에게 말씀하셨습니다. “그를 보라. 그는 암 진단을 받았다. 따라서 그는 자신이 암에 걸렸다고 생각하지만, 실제로 암은 존재하지 않는다.” 그러고 나서 그 남자를 보았더니, 그의 몸에 암이 존재하지 않았습니다.

당신이 사실만을 보았을 때는 암이 있었지만, 사실(fact)을 진리(truth)로 덮으면, 사실들이 바뀌며 진리와 일치하게 된다는 것입니다. 많은 사람들은 이를 깨닫지 못합니다. 하지만 이것이 하나님과 동행하는 방법입니다. 삶에 나타나는 사실과 상황을 진리 곧 하나님의 말씀으로 덮어버리는 것입니다.

이는 고린도후서 4:18의 말씀을 생각나게 합니다. “…보이는 것은 잠깐이요…” 보이는 것은 변할 수 있습니다. 종양이 있을 수는 있지만 진리이자 실재인 하나님의 말씀은 당신이 그리스도 안에서 완전하다고 말합니다.

사실을 바라보지 마십시오. 당신의 시선을 진리에 고정시키십시오. 당신의 승리, 신성한 건강, 번영, 다스림, 그리스도 안에서 영광스러운 삶을 확증하고 보장하는 하나님의 말씀에 시선을 고정하십시오. 하나님께 영광을 드립니다!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 나는 진리인 당신의 말씀에 나의 시선을 고정합니다. 당신의 말씀은 그리스도 안에서 나의 번영, 신성한 건강, 승리, 다스림, 그리고 영광스러운 삶을 확증합니다. 나는 말씀 안에서 살아가며 영광에서 영광으로 나아갑니다. 말씀은 나를 위해 그리고 내 안에서 말씀이 말하는 실재를 만들어냅니다. 아멘.

Fix Your Gaze On Truth

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”(John 8:32).

Truth liberates, uplifts, blesses and transforms. Truth inspires and energizes you. And what is truth? Truth is the Word of God. John 17:17: “…thy Word is truth.” Being guided into all truth is the ministry of the Holy Spirit; it’s something that God wants for your life. He Himself is the spirit of truth. Truth is reality.

In a vision one day, the Lord showed me something really remarkable about knowing and walking in truth. I’ve mentioned it on different fora, but it bears repeating. It’s about a man that was diagnosed with cancer, and he was told he had only a short time to live.

But when the Lord showed me the same man in a vision, He said, “Look at him; he’s been diagnosed with cancer; therefore, he believes he has cancer. But in reality, there’s no cancer.” Then I looked at the man, and there was no cancer in his body.

That means factually, there was cancer, but when you superimpose the truth on facts, the facts will change and line up with truth. This is what many don’t realise. But that’s how to walk with God; that’s how to live with God. You superimpose His Word—the truth on the facts and circumstances of life.

It brings to mind what 2 Corinthians 4:18 says: “…for the things which are seen are temporal…”; that means they’re subject to change. The growth or tumour may be there, but the Word of God—which is the TRUTH and the reality—says you’re perfected in Christ.

Take your eyes away from facts; fix your gaze on truth, on the reality of God’s Word, which confirms and guarantees your victory, divine health, prosperity, dominion and glorious life in Christ. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, your Word is truth, on which I fix my gaze. Your Word confirms my prosperity, divine health, victory, dominion and glorious life in Christ. I make progress from glory to glory by living in and by the Word, which produces for me and in me the reality that it conveys, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
