무당에게 묻지 마십시오

“어떤 사람이 너희에게 말하기를 주절거리며 속살거리는 신접한 자와 마술사에게 물으라 하거든 백성이 자기 하나님께 구할 것이 아니냐 산 자를 위하여 죽은 자에게 구하겠느냐 하라”(사 8:19)
한 번은 어떤 사람이 그리스도인이 무당과 심령술사에게 질문하는 것이 괜찮은 지 물은 적이 있습니다. 말도 안 되는 일입니다. 당신에게는 성령님이 계십니다. 그러므로 당신은 그 무엇도 필요하지 않습니다. 게다가 심령술사, 점쟁이, 무당, 점성술사는 미래나 당신의 앞날에 대한 진리를 말해줄 수 없습니다. 그들은 진리를 모르기 때문입니다. 오직 성령님 만이 미래를 아십니다. 성령님 만이 당신과 당신의 미래에 대한 진리를 알고 계십니다.
로마서 8:14은 말합니다. “무릇 하나님의 영으로 인도함을 받는 사람은 곧 하나님의 아들이라.” 성령님은 당신을 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하시고 미래와 장래의 일을 알려주기 위해 하나님께서 보내주신 진리의 영이십니다. “그러나 진리의 성령이 오시면 그가 너희를 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하시리니 그가 스스로 말하지 않고 오직 들은 것을 말하며 장래 일을 너희에게 알리시리라”(요16:13).
그러므로 해답을 위해 성령님을 의지하십시오. 당신이 필요한 인도와 지시를 위해 성령님을 신뢰하십시오. 정확한 인도가 필요한 일은 모두 성령님께 여쭤보십시오. 어떤 사람들은 오늘의 본문 구절을 완전히 이해하지 못했기 때문에 아직도 점쟁이를 찾는 것이 괜찮은 지 헷갈려 합니다. 그런 행동은 옳지 않습니다.
하나님께서 마술사들에 대해 말씀하신 부분을 보면, 무당들이 말씀과 성령님의 인도하심에 완전히 반대된 방법으로 영의 세계를 들여다보는 일이나 무당들을 사용하려는 생각들을 어떻게 여기시는 지에 대해 종종 말씀하셨습니다. 그러니 지혜롭게 행동하십시오. 그러한 미래에 대한 예측들을 절대 귀담아듣지 마십시오. 언제나 오직 성령님께 여쭤보고 인도받으십시오.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 말씀 안에서, 당신의 말씀으로 가르침을 받을 수 있는 특권에 감사드립니다. 당신의 말씀은 내가 참고하여 선택과 결정을 내리는 빛이며 진리입니다. 나는 삶의 모든 일에서 성령님의 인도를 받습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

DON’T CONSULT MEDIUMS
“And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?”(Isaiah 8:19).
Someone once asked if it’s okay for Christians to consult mediums and psychics; that’s absurd. You have the Holy Spirit; therefore, you don’t need any of that. Moreover, psychics, soothsayers, diviners or astrologers can’t tell you the truth about the future, or your future, because they don’t know it. Only the Holy Spirit knows the future, and the truth about you and your future.
Romans 8:14 says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, sent by God to guide you into ALL truth, and show you the future—things to come: “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13).
Therefore, depend on the Holy Spirit for answers. Trust Him for the guidance and direction you need. Consult with Him about anything and everything for which you require accurate guidance. A total lack of understanding of our opening scripture is the reason some are still confused about whether or not it’s okay to seek mediums. It’s not okay.
When you look at all that God said about wizards, He often talked about their idea of trying to look into the spirit world and use mediums that are totally against the Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. So, be wise; never pay attention to such predictions. Consult with, and receive guidance from the Holy Spirit only, and always.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I’m grateful for the privilege to be taught and instructed in and by your Word. Your Word is my guiding light and the truth from which I draw inferences, make choices and decisions. I’m led and guided by the Holy Spirit in all life’s affairs, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
