당신 안에 있는 하나님의 임재
His Presence In You
“하나님이 바울의 손으로 놀라운 능력을 행하게 하시니 심지어 사람들이 바울의 몸에서 손수건이나 앞치마를 가져다가 병든 사람에게 얹으면 그 병이 떠나고 악귀도 나가더라”(행 19:11-12)
그리스도인이 아니고 분명히 성령을 받은 적도 없던 사람이 집회에서 방언을 했습니다. 이에 깜짝 놀란 사람이 “어떻게 그럴 수 있지요?”라고 물었습니다. 그럴 수도 있습니다. 그 사람에게 일어난 일은 일종의 기름부음의 전이인데, 병자를 치유하기 위해 바울의 몸에서 가져간 손수건과 앞치마에 일어난 일과 비슷한 것이었습니다.
예를 들어 내가 당신을 문지를 수 있는데, 그러면 내가 입은 옷에서 나온 기름부음의 입자가 당신을 덮을 것입니다. 또는 내가 당신을 포옹할 수 있는데, 그러면 당신에게서 나의 향취가 풍길 것입니다. 그 의미는 내가 당신 안에 있다는 뜻이 아닙니다. 마찬가지로 위에서 언급한 사람이 방언으로 말했다는 사실 자체가 성령님이 그 사람 안에 계셨다는 의미는 아닙니다. 민수기 22:28에서 우리는 나귀가 사람의 음성으로 말하여 선지자 발람이 미친 짓을 하지 못하게 막는 대목을 읽습니다. 그러면 하나님께서 나귀 안에 살고 계셨습니까? 아닙니다!
하나님의 능력이 나귀에게 임하자 나귀가 사람처럼 말했지만, 그렇다고 나귀가 성령으로 충만했다는 의미는 아닙니다. 하나님의 성령께서 일으키시는 일들이 있습니다. 예를 들어 믿는 자로서 우리가 교회에 모일 때 성령님이 그곳에 물리적으로 나타나셨기 때문이 아니라 우리 안에 계신 그분의 임재로 인해 모인 곳에 영적인 임재가 있습니다. 그 임재는 우리를 통해 그 환경으로 전달됩니다. 그런 의미와 측면에서 우리는 우리 안에 계신 하나님의 임재로 그곳을 거룩하게 만들었던 것입니다.
그러므로 궁극적인 것은 위에서 언급한 예와 같은 하나님의 임재를 문지르거나 바르거나 전이하는 것이 아닙니다. 그것은 오래 지속되지 못한 반면, 당신 안에 내주하시는 그분의 임재는 그렇지 않습니다! 성령을 받았을 때 능력의 원천이 당신 안으로 들어와 거한 것입니다. 예수님은 성령님이 당신에게 임하시면 당신이 능력을 받게 될 것이라 말씀하셨습니다(행 1:8).
당신은 능력을 찾으러 다른 곳에 갈 필요가 없습니다. 능력의 원천 자체가 당신 안에 사시기 때문입니다. 오늘 당신 안에 계신 그분의 영광스러운 임재를 활용하십시오. 이를 의식할 때, 당신은 문자 그대로 초자연적인 영역 안에서 걷고 그리스도 안에 있는 더 높은 삶을 살게 될 것입니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 내 안에 사시는 성령님으로 인해 감사드립니다. 나는 나의 삶을 아름답게 하고 나의 세상을 변화시키는 아버지의 신성한 임재가 내 안에 있음을 의식합니다. 내 안에 계신 그리스도는 나를 정복자보다 나은 자요, 현세에서 승리자와 이기는 자가 되게 합니다. 할렐루야!

HIS PRESENCE IN YOU
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed rom them, and the evil spirits went out of them (Acts 19:11-12).
A certain fellow, who wasn’t a Christian and obviously hadn’t received the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues in a meeting. Stunned at this, someone asked, “How could that be?” Well, it happened. What happened to that fellow was an impartation, similar to that on the handkerchiefs and aprons that were taken from Paul’s body to heal the sick. For example, I can rub myself on you and particles from my own clothes will come on you; I could hug you and my smell will be on you. That doesn’t mean I’m in you. In the same way, the fact that that fellow spoke in tongues doesn’t mean the Holy Spirit was in him. In Numbers 22:28, we read how a donkey spoke with a man’s voice and forbade the madness of the prophet. Was God living in the donkey? No! The power of God came on the donkey and it spoke like a man, but that didn’t mean the donkey was filled with the Holy Ghost. There’re things the Spirit of God causes to happen. For example, when we gather as believers in church, there’s a spiritual presence in the room, not because the Holy Ghost sat there physically, but because of His presence in us. That presence is transmitted to that environment through us. We have, in that sense, and in that way, sanctified the place with the presence of God that we carry in us. The ultimate thing, therefore, isn’t a rub-off or a smear or an impartation of His presence like the aforementioned examples, which wouldn’t last for long, but His indwelling presence in you. When you received the Holy Spirit, the very source of power came to reside in you. Jesus said you shall receive power when the Holy Ghost comes upon you (Acts 1:8). You don’t need to seek power from anywhere
else, because the very source of power Himself lives in you. Take advantage of His glorious presence in you today. When you’re conscious of this, you’ll certainly walk in the supernatural and live the higher life in Christ.
CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for your Spirit that lives in me; I’m conscious of your divine presence in me that beautifies my life, and transforms my world. Christ in me makes me more than a conqueror, a victor and an overcomer in this life. Hallelujah!
