교제로의 부르심
THE CALL TO FELLOWSHIP
“우리가 보고 들은 바를 너희에게도 전함은 너희로 우리와 사귐이 있게 하려 함이니 우리의 사귐은 아버지와 그의 아들 예수 그리스도와 더불어 누림이라”(요일 1:3)
교제 없이는 당신이 이 땅에서 하는 무슨 일이든 하늘에서는 존경받지 못합니다. 그래서 구원의 계획에서 가장 높고 중요한 그리스도의 목적은 교제로의 부르심 입니다. 우리를 하나님과의 교제 안으로 인도하는 것입니다. 거듭난 것만으로는 충분하지 않습니다. 하나님께서 진정 원하시는 것은 당신과의 교제입니다. 이것이 새로운 탄생의 목적입니다.
두 살배기 아기를 아주 많이 사랑할 수는 있어도, 아기와 진정한 교제를 나눌 수는 없습니다. 진정한 교제는 소통, 즉 서로를 이해하고 생각을 교환하며 더 높은 차원에서 이야기를 나누는 것입니다. 하나님께서는 우리를 그러한 교제로 부르셨습니다.
요한이 “…너희로 우리와 사귐이 있게 하려 함이니” 라고 말했을 때, 그는 다른 종교에서 기독교로 개종하는 일에 대해 말한 것이 아닙니다. 그것은 진리에 대한 선포였습니다! 우리는 하나님과의 동역과 연합으로 부름 받았습니다. 하나님과 같은 종류의 영의 교제, 하나된 영의 교제입니다. 할렐루야!
성경은 말합니다. “너희를 불러 그의 아들 예수 그리스도 우리 주와 더불어 교제하게 하시는 하나님은 미쁘시도다”(고전1:9). 우리는 예수 그리스도와 연합했습니다. 로마서 8:16-17은 더 자세히 설명합니다. “성령이 친히 우리의 영과 더불어 우리가 하나님의 자녀인 것을 증언하시나니 자녀이면 또한 상속자 곧 하나님의 상속자요 그리스도와 공동 상속자니라…”(한글킹제임스)
밑줄 친 부분은 우리가 그분과 어떤 연합을 갖고 있는지를 보여줍니다. 예수님은 우리를 그분과 같은 수준으로 끌어 올려 주셨습니다. 정말 대단한 일입니다! 그러나 성령님을 통하지 않고는 그 높은 수준의 하나됨과 교제 가운데 기능할 수 없습니다. 매일 성령님과 더 많은 교제 가운데 있는 것이 당신의 갈망이 되게 하십시오.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 당신과 교제하고 한 영이 되는 특권을 주셔서 감사합니다. 이 교제로 말미암아 내 삶에서 모든 한계와 장애물은 사라집니다. 나는 삶에서 전진만을 경험합니다. 당신의 영광과 지혜가 내 안에서, 나를 통해 넘치도록 나타납니다. 나는 성령님과의 교제를 통해 전례 없는 능력의 나타남을 경험합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE CALL TO FELLOWSHIP
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ (1 John 1:3).
Without fellowship, nothing you do on earth is esteemed in Heaven. That’s why the highest and most important purpose of Christ in the plan of salvation is the call to fellowship; bringing us into fellowship with God. It’s not enough that you’re born again; what God really wants is fellowship with you. That’s the purpose of the New Birth.
You can love your two-year year old child very much, but you can’t have real fellowship with him or her. Real fellowship entails communication—sharing, talking at higher levels where you understand each other and exchange thoughts. This is the kind of fellowship God has called us into.
When John said, “…that ye also may have fellowship with us,” he wasn’t talking about conversion from a certain religion to Christianity; it’s a declaration of truth! We’ve been called into partnership and togetherness with Deity. It’s the fellowship of the God-kind, a oneness of spirit. Hallelujah!
The Bible says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:9). We’re in union with Jesus Christ. Romans 8:16-17 explains it further. It says, “The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ….”
The underlined portion shows the kind of union we have with Him: He brought us to the same level with Himself. This is mind-blowing! But you see, you can’t function at that high level of oneness and fellowship except through the Holy Spirit. Your desire should be to fellowship more with the Holy Spirit every day.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of being in fellowship, in oneness of spirit with you. As a result of this relationship, every limit and barrier is taken off my way; I experience nothing but progress in my life. Your glory and wisdom function in me and through me in an overflowing measure; and I experience unprecedented manifestations of your power through fellowship of the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
