기도가 당신을 위해 하는 일
What Prayer Does For You
“… 의인의 간구는 역사하는 힘이 큼이니라…”(약 5:16)
기도는 하나님께 당신을 위해 어떤 행동을 하시도록 만드는 것이 아니라는 점을 아십시오. 하나님께서는 그리스도 예수 안에서 당신을 위해서 그리고 당신에 관해 해야 할 모든 일을 완수하셨습니다. 그렇다면 기도가 당신을 위해 하는 일은 무엇입니까?
기도는 당신의 영이 이 세상의 수준 위에서 기능하게 합니다. 당신의 영이 이 세상보다 높은 영역에서 소통하는 것을 돕는 신성한 영감을 얻을 수 있게 합니다. 기도는 당신이 신성과의 연합 가운데, 즉 당신의 영이 하나님께서 역사하시는 영역으로 올라가고 상황에 대한 주도권을 쥐는 가운데 기능하도록 돕습니다.
당신이 원하는 것을 주님께 기도하며 구하고 있다고 가정해 봅시다. 당신이 기도하고 하나님을 신뢰할 때, 성령님은 당신의 영을 소생시키셔서 하나님의 말씀으로 상황을 생각하게 하십니다. 갑자기 당신은 그것을 볼 수 있게 됩니다. 마치 “산 꼭대기에 서서” 세상의 여러 곳들을 내려다 보는 것과 같습니다.
이에 대한 또 다른 방식의 설명은 벽을 뛰어넘어 하나님의 영광을 보는 것입니다. 당신이 벽을 뛰어 넘어 당신의 영이 비전을 붙잡게 되면, 갑자기 당신의 영으로부터 말들이 나올 것이고 “나는 그것을 예수 이름으로 소유하고 있다!”고 선포하게 될 것입니다.
이 시점에는 당신이 그것을 이미 기도 중에 봤기 때문에 세상 그 무엇도 당신의 마음을 바꿀 수 없게 됩니다. 그것이 바로 믿음입니다. 당신이 바라던 것을 당신의 영으로 보고 붙잡았기 때문에 이제 당신의 소유가 되었다고 선포하는 것입니다.
그렇게 영으로 보고 붙잡은 후에, 당신이 본 것이 실제로 일어나는 것을 기도한 날에 볼 수도 있고 그 주에 볼 수도 있습니다. 어떤 경우에는 몇 달이 걸리거나 수 년이 걸리기도 합니다. 그래서 예수님께서는 누가복음 18:1에서 항상 기도하고 낙심하지 말아야 한다고 말씀하셨습니다. 당신의 영이 이미 소유했으므로 이미 당신이 그것을 소유했다고 지속적으로 고백하십시오. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 하늘 아버지, 기도를 더 깊이 이해하게 하시고 기도가 나에게 끼치는 영향을 알게 하시니 감사합니다. 내가 기도할 때 내 심령은 아버지의 말씀에 대한 계시로 충만해지고 의심이나 불신앙에 자리를 내어주지 않습니다. 내 믿음은 모든 대적하는 환경들을 이깁니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

WHAT PRAYER DOES FOR YOU
“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much…” (James 5:16-18).
Understand that prayer isn’t about getting God to do something for you. He’s done everything He would ever need to do for and about you in Christ Jesus. So, what does prayer do for you?
Prayer enables your spirit to operate at a level that’s beyond this world. It enables your spirit to get a hold of divine inspiration that helps you communicate at a realm that’s above this world. It helps you to function in union with Deity such that your spirit rises to God’s realm of operation, and then takes control of the situation.
Let’s say you’re praying and asking the Lord for something that you desire. As you pray and trust God for it, the Holy Spirit quickens your spirit to incubate upon that situation with God’s Word. Suddenly, you’re enabled to see. It’s like “stepping on the mountaintop” from where you’re able to look at the rest of the world.
Another way to explain it is like you pulling yourself over a wall to look, and then you see the glory of God! When you pull yourself over that wall and your spirit takes a hold of the vision, suddenly, words will come from your spirit, and you’ll begin to declare, “I have it in the Name of Jesus!”
At this point, nothing in this world can change your mind from it because you’ve already seen it as you prayed. That’s what faith is about; it’s declaring that what you’ve hoped for has presently become yours because you’ve seen and taken a hold of it with your spirit.
After seeing and taking a hold of it in the spirit like that, what you saw could happen on your first day of prayer or in the first week. In some cases, it could even be months or years. But that’s why Jesus said in Luke 18:1 that men ought always to pray, and not to give up. Keep declaring that you have it, for your spirit has already taken possession of it. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for giving me a deeper understanding of prayer and what it does for me. As I remain reverent in prayer, my heart is full of the revelation of your Word, giving no room for doubt or unbelief, and my faith prevails against all opposing circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
