인도를 위한 환상

Vision For Guidance

“그 후에 내가 내 영을 만민에게 부어 주리니 너희 자녀들이 장래 일을 말할 것이며 너희 늙은이는 꿈을 꾸며 너희 젊은이는 이상을 볼 것이며”(욜 2:28)

환상(Vision)에는 여러 다른 종류가 있습니다. 하나님의 영이 특정 상황에서 어떻게 해야 하는지 보여주고 무엇을 해야 할지 인도하기 위한 환상이 있으며, 성경에는 그에 대한 예시들이 있습니다. 사도행전 10:1-6에는 그러한 환상으로 인도받은 로마의 백부장 고넬료의 놀라운 이야기가 기록되어 있습니다.

성경은 고넬료가 하나님을 경외하며 가난한 사람들을 많이 구제했던 사람이라고 설명합니다. 그런 이유로 하나님은 그를 구원하려고 하셨습니다. 어느 날, 하나님은 그에게 천사를 보는 환상을 보여주셨습니다. 천사는 그에게 해야 할 일을 알려줄 베드로를 청하라고 말했습니다. 이는 고넬료를 구원하기 위함이었습니다.

그러나 그것이 전부가 아니었습니다. 베드로는 사도행전 11장에서 그에 해당하는 환상을 보았습니다. “이르되 내가 욥바 시에서 기도할 때에 황홀한 중에 환상을 보니… 마침 세 사람이 내가 유숙한 집 앞에 서 있으니 가이사랴에서 내게로 보낸 사람이라 성령이 내게 명하사 아무 의심 말고 함께 가라 하시매 이 여섯 형제도 나와 함께 가서 그 사람의 집에 들어가니 그가 우리에게 말하기를 천사가 내 집에 서서 말하되 네가 사람을 욥바에 보내어 베드로라 하는 시몬을 청하라 그가 너와 네 온 집이 구원 받을 말씀을 네게 이르리라 함을 보았다 하거늘”(행 11:5, 11-14).

이 성경구절들은 하나님이 어떻게 환상을 통해 그분의 백성들을 인도하시는지 분명하게 보여줍니다. 당신도 영 안에서 눈을 들어 본다면, 그렇게 할 때 그분께서 당신을 인도하실 것입니다. 그분은 당신에게 비전을 주시고 당신이 취해야 할 바른 행동을 보여주실 것입니다. 다가오는 새해를 맞이하여 하나님의 말씀에 자신을 내어드리고 기도 가운데 성령님의 인도하심에 순종해보십시오. 그러면 당신도 그분께서 당신이 하기 원하시는 일과 당신이 취해야 할 다음 행동에 대해 인도해주시는 비전을 보게 될 것입니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내 삶의 길을 안내하시는 성령님의 인도하심에 감사드립니다. 새해를 맞이하여 나는 말씀에 스스로를 내어드리고 기도 가운데 성령님의 인도하심에 순종할 때 내 길은 영원히 빛으로 가득 차게 됩니다. 나는 항상 당신의 완전한 뜻을 분별하고 그 안에서 행합니다. 나는 발전, 승리, 성공의 길을 걷기 때문에 내 삶에는 고군분투가 없습니다. 그 무엇도 나의 비전을 흐릿하게 만들 수 없습니다. 나는 생명의 빛을 가지고 있기 때문입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

VISION FOR GUIDANCE

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;

and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions (Joel 2:28).

There’re different kinds of visions; there’s the vision where the Spirit of God shows you what to do in a particular situation and guides you on how to do it?vision for guidance?and there’re examples of such in the Bible. Acts 10:1-6 narrates the remarkable account of the Roman centurion named Cornelius who was guided through such a vision.

The Bible describes Cornelius as a God-fearing man who gave much alms to the poor. For this reason, God sought to save him. So, one day, God showed him a vision where he saw an angel telling him to send for Peter who would tell him what to do for him to be saved.

But that wasn’t all. In Acts 11, Peter himself saw a corresponding vision. He said, “I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision… And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me. And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren

accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house: And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter; Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved” (Acts 11:5, 11-14).

These scriptures clearly illustrate for us how God guides His people through visions. And if you’d lift your eyes in the spirit as well, He’d guide you in your endeavours. He’d give you visions and show you the right steps to take. As you look to the coming year, give yourself to the Word of God and yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit in prayer; you’d see visions of the things He wants you to do and the steps you should take.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the guidance of your Spirit by which I navigate my way through life. As I go into the coming year, giving myself to the Word and yielding to the leading of the Spirit in prayer, my path is forever flooded with light. I discern and walk in your perfect will at all times. My life is void of struggles as I journey on the clear path of progress, victory and success. Nothing can obscure my vision, because I have the light of life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

왕국은 당신의 것입니다

The Kingdom Is Yours

“적은 무리여 무서워 말라 너희 아버지께서 그 나라를 너희에게 주시기를 기뻐하시느니라”(눅 12:32)

오늘의 본문 구절에서 예수님이 하신 말씀이 얼마나 심오한지요! 그러나 예수님이 그 말씀을 하셨을 때, 그분은 새로운 피조물에 대해 말씀하신 것이 아닙니다. 하나님은 거듭난 당신에게 왕국을 “주실 예정이지” 않습니다. 왕국은 당신의 것이기 때문입니다. 당신은 왕국에서 태어났습니다. 당신은 왕국의 상속자입니다. 이는 왕국이 당신에게 속했다는 뜻입니다. 왕국은 예수님께 속했고 당신은 예수님과 함께 하는 공동 상속자이기 때문입니다.

요한복음 16:15에서 예수님이 말씀하신 내용을 기억하십시오. “무릇 아버지께 있는 것은 다 내 것이라…” 여기에는 하나님의 왕국도 포함됩니다. 예수님은 이 땅에 사시는 동안 왕국의 삶을 사셨고, 그로 인해 당대의 사람들에게 신비가 되었습니다. 그분은 다른 차원에서 사셨습니다. 그분의 말과 행동은 그들이 이해하는 것과 달랐습니다

그 나라는 당신이 사랑하는 나라이자 아브라함이 찾던 도성이었습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “믿음으로 그가 이방의 땅에 있는 것 같이 약속의 땅에 거류하여 동일한 약속을 유업으로 함께 받은 이삭 및 야곱과 더불어 장막에 거하였으니 이는 그가 하나님이 계획하시고 지으실 터가 있는 성을 바랐음이라”(히 11:9-10)

만일 왕국이 당신의 것이라면 당신이 무엇을 더 필요로 하겠습니까? 예수님은 누가복음 17:21에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “… 하나님의 나라는 너희 안에 있느니라.” 그분은 “네가 왕국을 운반하는 것을 보라. 네가 왕국 안에 있기만 한 것이 아니다. 왕국이 네 안에 있다!”고 말씀하셨습니다. 왕국이 당신 안에 있다면, 그 왕국의 모든 보화, 재물, 광채, 영광도 당신 안에 있다는 뜻입니다.

당신이 왜 부족이나 결핍, 필요의 사고방식을 가져서는 안 되는지 아시겠습니까? 그분이 “만물이 다 너희 것임이라”(고전 3:21)고 말씀하신 것은 당연합니다. 하나님이 원하시는 바는 당신이 왕국으로부터 사는 것입니다. 왕국의 삶을 살고 왕국의 영광과 확장을 추구하십시오.

기도

왕국은 내 안에 있으므로 그 왕국의 모든 보화, 재물, 광채, 영광도 내 안에 있습니다! 나는 왕국으로부터 살고, 왕국의 삶을 살며, 왕국의 영광과 확장을 추구합니다. 오늘 나는 성령의 능력으로 성공, 번영, 승리, 건강, 능력을 보고 선포합니다! 아멘.

THE KINGDOM IS YOURS

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32).

What a profound statement made by Jesus in the verse above! However, when He said it, He wasn’t addressing the new creation. God isn’t “going to give” the Kingdom to you that are born again; the Kingdom is yours. You were born into the Kingdom; you’re an heir of the Kingdom. The Kingdom belongs to you, because it belongs to Jesus and you’re a joint-heir with Him.

Recall what He said in John 16:15: “All things that the Father hath are mine…”; that includes the Kingdom. Jesus lived the life of the Kingdom while He was on earth, and that made Him a mystery to the people of His day. He lived on a different plane.

His words and actions were different from what they understood.

The Kingdom is your beloved country, the city Abraham was looking for. The Bible says, “By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and

maker is God” (Hebrews 11:9-10).

Now, if the Kingdom is yours, what could you possibly be in need of? Jesus said in Luke 17:21, “… behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” He said, “SEE that you carry the Kingdom; you’re not just in the Kingdom; the Kingdom is in you!” If the Kingdom is in you, then it means all the treasures, riches, splendour and glories of the Kingdom are also in you.

Can you see why you should never have a mentality of lack, want and need? No wonder He said, “…all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21). What God wants is that you live from the Kingdom; live the Kingdom life and seek its glory and expansion.

CONFESSION

The Kingdom is in me; therefore, all the treasures, riches, splendour and glories of the Kingdom are also in me! I live from the Kingdom and live the Kingdom-life, seeking its glory and expansion. Today, I see and declare success, prosperity, victory, health and strength, by the power of the Holy Ghost! Amen.

주님의 헤아릴 수 없는 사랑

His Unfathomable Love

“이는 여인이 말하기를 ‘만일 내가 그분의 옷만 만져도 낫게 되리라.’고 함이라. 그러자 즉시 피의 유출이 마르고 자기가 그 병고에서 나은 것을 몸으로 느끼더라.”(막 5:28-29, 한글킹제임스)

오늘의 본문 구절은 기적을 위해 예수님을 만지려고 군중을 헤치고 나아간 혈루증을 앓는 여인의 감동적인 이야기를 담고 있습니다.

모세의 율법 아래서는 그런 여성이 다른 사람과 접촉하는 것은 고사하고 사람들 앞에 나서는 것조차 불법이었습니다. 그녀는 혈루증을 앓고 있었으므로 부정한 사람이었기 때문입니다. 그러나 자애롭고 자비로운 예수님은 그 여인에게 다음과 같은 사랑이 담긴 말씀을 하셨습니다. “… 딸아 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였으니 평안히 가라 하시더라”(눅 8:48).

이 여인에게 보이신 주님의 자비로운 성품에 대해 생각해보십시오! 그분의 사랑은 인간의 이해를 뛰어넘습니다. 그 사랑은 진정한 사랑이며 신성한 사랑입니다. 또한 그분이 나병환자를 어떻게 고치셨는지 떠올려 보십시오. 누가복음 5장은 예수님이 나병환자를 어떻게 만지시고 치유하셨는지에 대한 아름다운 이야기를 기록하고 있습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “… 온몸에 나병 들린 사람이 있어 예수를 보고 엎드려 구하여 이르되 주여 원하시면 나를 깨끗하게 하실 수 있나이다 하니 예수께서 손을 내밀어 그에게 대시며 이르시되 내가 원하노니 깨끗함을 받으라 하신대 나병이 곧 떠나니라…”(눅 5:12-14)

주님은 감염된 사람과 접촉하셨음에도 불구하고 감염되지 않으셨습니다. 오히려 그분은 감염된 자를 치유하셨습니다! 그분이 바로 당신이 본받아야 할 사람입니다. 예수님께서 우리에게 치유할 능력을 주신 “바이러스”와 감염으로부터 숨으라고 조언하는 사람들이 아니라 예수님의 본을 따라야 합니다.

그분은 누가복음 10:19에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권능을 주었으니 너희를 해칠 자가 결코 없으리라”(눅 10:19). 저는 예수님께 영감을 받았습니다. 그리고 당신도 그래야 합니다. 그분의 사랑에 영감을 받으십시오. 그분이 이 땅에 계셨을 때 망가진 인류 가운데 가장 낮은 자들을 얼마나 사랑스러운 손길로 만지셨는지에 대해 영감을 받으십시오. 그분은 지금도 우리를 통해 동일하게 행하십니다. 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내 안에 풍성하게 나타나고 또 나를 통해 표현되는 당신의 사랑의 본성에 감사드립니다. 나는 사랑의 오아시스이므로 병들고, 지치고, 무거운 짐 진 자들에게 당신의 사랑과 신성한 임재를 나타냅니다. 나는 곤경에 처한 사람들에게 안도, 안식, 회복, 충전, 축복을 흘려 보내는 사람입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HIS UNFATHOMABLE LOVE

For she said, If I may touch but his clothes I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague (Mark 5:28-29).

Part of our theme scripture is the inspiring story of the woman with the issue of blood who pressed her way through an impossible crowd to touch Jesus for a miracle. Jesus wasn’t rattled that the “unclean” woman touched Him without His consent.

Remember, under the Law of Moses, it was unlawful for such a woman to be seen in public, let alone make contact with other people, because she was haemorrhaging; making her unclean. But Jesus, ever so loving and gracious, addressed the woman with such endearment. He said, “…Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace” (Luke 8:48).

Think about the Master’s gracious disposition to this woman! His love is beyond human comprehension;it’s unfeigned and divine. Also, consider how He healed lepers in His day. Luke 5 records a beautiful story of how He touched and healed a certain leper. The Bible says, “And it came to pass… a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him” (Luke 5:12-13).

The Master didn’t get infected from making contact with the infected man; rather, He cured the infection! That’s the kind of person you should emulate.

That’s the example to follow, not those who advise you to hide from “viruses” and infections that Jesus gave us the power to heal.

He said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” I’m inspired by Jesus, and you should be too. Be inspired by His love; be inspired by how he affectionately touched the untouchables of broken humanity in His day, as He still does today; howbeit, through us! Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your love-nature that’s fully expressed in and demonstrated through me. I manifest your love and divine presence to the sick, the weary and the overburdened today, because I’m an oasis of love; I’m an outflow of relief, ease, refreshment, recreation and blessings to those who are troubled, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

신중하고 분별력 있으십시오

Be Circumspect And Discerning

“육신의 생각은 사망이요 영의 생각은 생명과 평안이니라”(롬 8:6)

우리는 마태복음 16:21-23을 통해 예수님과 베드로 사이에 일어난 흥미로운 일화를 볼 수 있습니다. 주님은 제자들에게 그분께서 예루살렘에 올라가 종교 지도자의 손에서 고난의 시련을 받고, 죽임을 당하고, 사흘째 되는 날 다시 살아나야 한다고 분명히 말씀하셨습니다.

성경은 베드로가 주님을 따로 붙들고 날카롭게 말하며 항변했다고 말합니다. “주님, 안됩니다! 주님께 그런 일이 일어나서는 안됩니다!” 그러자 주님은 베드로를 돌아보시며 말씀하셨습니다. “사탄아 내 뒤로 물러 가라 너는 나를 넘어지게 하는 자로다 네가 하나님의 일을 생각하지 아니하고 도리어 사람의 일을 생각하는도다 하시고”(마 16:23).

그분은 즉시 베드로의 마음을 정보의 근원 즉 영적인 것으로 돌리셨습니다. 이는 예수님의 영성에 대해 많은 것을 말해줍니다. 그분은 베드로가 어떤 정보가 하나님으로부터 왔고 어떤 정보가 마귀로부터 온 것인지 알기 원하셨습니다.

어떤 정보가 당신에게 올 때 당신은 그 정보가 어디에서 왔는지 알아야 합니다. 그 정보는 하나님의 왕국으로부터 왔습니까 아니면 마귀나 세상으로부터 왔습니까? 사탄은 이 세상의 왕입니다. 그러므로 세상의 정보는 사탄에 의해 오염되었습니다. 게다가 여러분은 이 세상에 속하지 않습니다(요 15:19). 그러므로 당신은 이 세상으로부터 온 정보로 살아갈 수 없습니다.

이해와 분별 가운데 행하십시오. 영적으로 사십시오. 말씀과 성령의 사역을 통해 주님은 당신에게 분별할 수 있는 능력과 항상 그분의 완전한 뜻 가운데 행할 수 있는 능력을 은혜롭게 부여하십니다. 그분은 당신이 신중하고, 조심스럽고, 사려 깊고, 방심하지 않고, 말씀 안에 세워지기를 원하십니다. 말씀은 당신에게 방향성과 인도를 제공하는 참된 빛입니다.

만일 주님으로부터 오지 않은 어떤 정보가 당신을 바른 길에서 흔들려고 한다면, 당신이 복음의 진리를 따를 때 성령으로 말미암아 그분의 음성을 듣게 될 것입니다. 이는 교회를 향한 바울의 기도가 매우 중요한 이유 중 하나입니다.

그분은 골로새서 1:9에서 말씀하셨습니다. “이로써 우리도 듣던 날부터 너희를 위하여 기도하기를 그치지 아니하고 구하노니 너희로 하여금 모든 신령한 지혜와 총명에 하나님의 뜻을 아는 것으로 채우게 하시고.” 항상 이 사실을 스스로에게 고백하십시오. 그리고 당신은 신중하고 지혜롭다고 자주 선포하십시오. 당신은 모든 지혜와 분별력 안에서 하나님의 뜻을 아는 지식으로 충만합니다. 할렐루야!

고백

사랑하는 아버지, 나는 신중하고, 지혜롭고, 통찰력이 있고, 분별력이 있습니다. 나는 모든 일에 온 마음 다해 주님을 신뢰합니다. 나는 당신의 말씀을 의지합니다. 나는 오직 당신의 인도를 따라 행동합니다. 나는 말씀에 뿌리를 내리고 기반을 다집니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BE CIRCUMSPECT AND DISCERNING

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6).

In Matthew 16:21-23, we see an interesting scenario between Jesus and Peter. The Master had made it clear to His disciples that it was necessary for Him to go to Jerusalem, submit to an ordeal of suffering at the hands of the religious leaders, be killed, and be raised back to life on the third day.

Then the Bible says that Peter took the Lord aside to speak to Him privately and began to reprove and charge Him sharply, saying, “God forbid, Lord! This must never happen to you!” The Master then turned to Peter and said, “…Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men”(Matthew 16:23).

He immediately turned Peter’s mind to the source of his information; He turned Peter’s mind to the spiritual. This says a lot about the spirituality of Jesus.

He wanted Peter to know when an information is from God, or when it’s from the devil.

When information comes to you, you have to know where it’s coming from. Is it from the Kingdom of God, from the devil or from the world? Satan is the prince of this world, so information from the world is corrupted by Satan. Moreover, you’re not of this world (John 15:19); therefore, you can’t live by the information that comes from the world.

Walk in understanding and discernment. Be spiritual. Through the ministry of the Word and the Spirit, the Lord graciously grants you the ability to discern and walk in His perfect will always. He wants you to be circumspect, cautious, prudent, vigilant and established in His Word, which is the true light that gives you direction and guidance.

If any information comes that’s not of the Lord, geared to sway you from the right path, by His Spirit, you’d hear His voice as you follow the truth of the Gospel. It’s one of the reasons the Pauline prayers for the Church are so important. In Colossians 1:9, he said, “For this cause we … do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” Affirm this for yourself always. Every so often, declare that you’re circumspect and wise; you’re filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and discernment. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I’m circumspect, wise, perceptive and discerning, trusting you wholeheartedly in all things, leaning on your Word, and acting only on your instructions. I’m rooted and grounded in the Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

십자가 그 이상입니다

Beyond The Cross

“그러므로 우리가 죽음 안으로 침례를 받아 그와 함께 장사되었으니 이는 아버지의 영광으로 인하여 그리스도께서 죽은 자들로부터 일으켜지심과 같이 우리도 또한 생명의 새로움 가운데서 행하게 하려 함이니라”(롬 6:4 한글킹제임스)

거듭난 당신은 부활의 생명을 가지고 있으며 그것은 십자가 그 이상의 생명입니다. 저는 당신이 이 사실을 꼭 붙잡기를 바랍니다. 새로운 피조물은 적의 손에서 “구출”된 것이 아닙니다. 새로운 피조물은 사탄보다 우월하므로 구출을 필요로 하지 않습니다.

구원은 십자가에서 성취되었습니다. 구원은 온 세상을 위한 것이었습니다. 십자가 이상의 부활 생명이 있습니다. 그것은 새로운 피조물의 생명입니다. 그리고 그 생명 안에서 당신은 “구출된”, “자유케 된” 혹은 “구원받은” 자가 아닙니다. 당신은 재창조된 자입니다! 그리스도 안에서 재창조된 인간은 이 세상에 속하지 않으므로 이 세상의 세력은 그에게 권한이 없습니다. 그리스도 안에서 재창조된 인간은 세상과 그에 속한 모든 요소를 이겼습니다.

말씀은 우리를 “정복자 그 이상”이라고 부릅니다(롬 8:37). 우리는 파괴될 수 없으며 무적입니다. 우리에 대한 가장 아름다운 사실은 하나님이 우리를 성도로 부르신다는 것입니다(고전 6:2, 고전 14:33, 고후 1:1, 엡 1:1 등). 죄인은 그리스도와 함께 죽었습니다. 죄인은 그리스도와 함께 장사되었습니다. 새로운 피조물 곧 성도는 그리스도와 함께 일으켜졌습니다. 이것이 당신의 새로운 본성입니다.

반면 새로운 피조물은 십자가의 결과가 아닙니다. 십자가는 속량과 구원의 값은 지불했지만, 새로운 생명을 만들지는 않았습니다. 예수님이 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살아나지 않으셨다면, 우리는 속량 받았지만 여전히 죄 아래 있었을 것입니다. 그분이 흘리신 피는 우리에게 영원한 속량과 구원을 주었습니다. 그러나 우리는 새로운 피조물은 아니었을 것입니다. 새로운 피조물은 예수 그리스도의 부활의 결과입니다! 부활은 우리에게 영원한 생명을 주었습니다. 부활은 우리에게 하나님의 의를 주었고 우리를 그리스도와 함께 한 공동상속자가 되게 했습니다.

고백

나는 생명과 불멸을 가진 그리스도 예수 안에서의 새로운 피조물입니다. 나는 전염병에 걸리지 않으며, 사탄과 이 세상의 쇠약하게 하는 요소 및 기반보다 우월합니다. 나는 영광, 승리, 성공, 번영, 소망, 축복이 보장된 삶으로 부름 받았습니다. 할렐루야!

BEYOND THE CROSS

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).

Being born again, you have the resurrection life; life beyond the Cross. I would to God you’d catch this. The new creation wasn’t “delivered” from the hand of the enemy, neither does he need deliverance, for he’s superior to Satan.

Deliverance was accomplished at the Cross. It was for the whole world. But there’s a resurrection life beyond the Cross. That’s the life of the new creation, and in that life, you’re not the “delivered,” neither are you the “set free” or “redeemed”; rather, you’re the recreated! The recreated man in Christ isn’t of this world; so the forces of this world have no power over him. In Christ, he has overcome the world and all its elements.

The Bible calls us “…more than conquerors…”

(Romans 8:37). We’re indestructible and invincible.

Then, most beautifully, He calls us saints (1 Corinthians 6:2, 14:33, 2 Corinthians 1:1, Ephesians 1:1 etc.). The sinner died with Christ; the sinner was buried with Christ; but a new creature, a saint, arose with Christ.

This is your new nature. The Christian is the man who believes that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead and confesses His Lordship; he identifies with the resurrected Christ. He’s a new type of man: “…If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I’m showing you who you really are. The biggest thing to grasp about the Christian is the fact that he is absolutely a new creature. The unrecreated man, the natural human being, needed deliverance from the devil and God gave it to him. He needed remission of sin and God gave it to him. Jesus died to pay the price for his redemption.

The new creation, on the other hand, is not a product of the Cross. The Cross was enough to pay the price for redemption and salvation, but it didn’t produce a new life. If Jesus had never risen from the dead, we would still have been redeemed, but continually subject to sin. The blood He shed brought us eternal redemption and salvation. But we wouldn’t have been new creatures. The new creation is a product of the resurrection of Jesus Christ! The resurrection gave us eternal life. It gave us the righteousness of God, and made us joint-heirs with Christ.

CONFESSION

I’m a new creature in Christ Jesus?infused with life and immortality; impregnable to infections, superior to Satan and the debilitating elements and rudiments of this world. I’m called to a life of glory, victory, success, prosperity, hope and blessed assurance. Hallelujah!

주 예수님은 모든 것, 즉 그분의 관점, 말, 행동, 소망, 믿음, 사랑에서 영성을 내보이셨습니다. 사도들도 마찬가지였습니다. 그들은 영적으로 생각했습니다. 그들은 영적인 관점으로 세상을 보았고 말씀에 입각하여 상황과 환경에 반응했습니다.

SEE SPIRITUALLY

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:5-6).

The Lord Jesus manifested spirituality in all things: His views, words, actions, hope, faith and love. The apostles were the same. They were spiritually minded. They looked at the world from the spiritual perspective and responded to situations and circumstances from the standpoint of the Word.

Consider how Jesus dealt with certain situations!

Until He came, no one knew that an evil spirit could be responsible for the conditions in which some people found themselves; and even when they knew, no one could change that situation. But Jesus cast out evil spirits with His words: ”When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick” (Matthew 8:16).

Mark 9:25 says, “When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.”

Mark 1:23-26 says, “And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit…And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.” How about the demoniac at Gadara who was bound with chains and fetters? He broke the chains and inflicted wounds on his own body. Until Jesus came through that same road, he wallowed in that pitiable state. The Master commanded the evil spirit to come out of the man and he was restored (Read Mark 5:1?13).

Jesus put a premium on words. He spoke words as “Get up! Pick up your bed and walk!” and someone who had been paralyzed from birth could be healed.

Read the account of the man who was sick for thirtyeight years, and lay by the Pool of Bethesda. Jesus said to him, “…Rise, take up thy bed, and walk” (John 5:8).

He taught that words were spirit (John 6:63).

Jesus saw life from the realm of the spirit. As far as He was concerned, everything was controlled from the realm of the spirit. And as a child of God, that’s the realm you’re expected to see and live from. Interpret life from the spirit realm, and you’ll always win.

CONFESSION

I operate in this world by kingdom principles. I see by the Word; I see spiritually and live above the elements, failures, frustrations, darkness and corruption in this physical world. I walk in victory and dominion always. Amen.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF PRIESTS

Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way (1 Samuel 12:23).

The Bible says in Revelation 1:6 that the Lord Jesus has “…made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” So, in Christ, you’re a priest before God. Each one of us is occupying that office today, and there’re responsibilities attached to that office.

The first responsibility of priests is ministering to the Lord. When Aaron was going to be made a priest, God said to Moses, “…take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office…” (Exodus 28:1). But how do we minister to God as priests?

1 Peter 2:5 says, “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” We don’t offer bulls and goats as they did in the Old Testament but spiritual sacrifices: the calves of our lips (Hosea 14:2). Hallelujah!

Secondly, priests make the Word of God known.

When Jesus gave the great commission in Matthew 28:19-20, it was to us?the priests of God. He said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

You’re to make pupils of those in your world; teach them about God and the Kingdom-life; let them in on the fundamentals of the glorious Kingdom we’ve been brought into. The Bible says, “It’s the job of priests to teach the truth. People are supposed to look to them for guidance…” (Malachi 2:7 MSG).

This is your ministry as a priest; it’s your calling, and responsibility, to make His Word known to the world; people should seek, inquire for and require knowledge from you about the life of righteousness.

The third responsibility of priests is intercession.

We’re like Jesus our High Priest, about whom the Bible says, “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25).

Our theme verse shows us Samuel as a teaching priest who wouldn’t cease to pray for the people. Be likeminded. Pray often for all men and for your country.

God has given us the dominion and the authority to alter the course of events in the earth, using the Name of Jesus. Therefore, in prayer, let’s bring His will to pass in the earth, in the lives of those around us, in our cities, and nations. Take your place of priesthood in ministering to the Lord, teaching and intercession.

Dear Father, thank you for the privilege to take hold together with you, to side with you in bringing your will to pass on behalf of others. Thank you for the dominion and the authority to alter the course of events in the earth, using the Name of Jesus. Amen!

Make Things Right With The Prophetic Word

“네가 이미 [예언된 것을] 들었으니 이 성취된 것을 보아라. 너희가 그것을 증언하지 아니하겠느냐? 내가 이제부터 새 일 곧 네가 알지 못하던 [남겨두었던] 은밀한 일을 네게 보이노니”(사 48:6 AMPC)

MAKE THINGS RIGHT WITH THE PROPHETIC WORD

You have heard [these things foretold], now you see this fulfillment. And will you not bear witness to it? I show you specified new things from this time forth, even hidden things [kept in reserve] which you have not known (Isaiah 48:6 AMPC).

When you read our opening scripture further into the 7 th verse, you’d observe that the “specified new things” Isaiah spoke of were created by the prophetic word: “They are created now [called into being by the prophetic word]…” (Isaiah 48:7 AMPC).

The prophetic word is the “rhema” of God that’s put in your mouth, words that you speak for God.

These are utterances the Lord gives you by His Spirit;

they come from the inner recesses of your spirit.

Remember, your spirit was created by the Word of God, and the Word lives in you (1 Peter 1:23).

Also, the Word, the “logos” of God that dwells inside you sees, understands and knows all things:

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” (Hebrews 4:12-13). How then do you bring these things that the Word sees, understands and knows, to pass? It’s by the prophetic words you utter by the Holy Spirit that’s in you.

The Bible says, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy…” (Acts 2:17). This doesn’t only apply to your personal life; you can direct the very course of this world by the prophetic word. For example, when the governments of nations, leaders of industries, and others gang up against the Church, take up words from the Spirit and utter them in faith. We’re not hamstrung;

we know what to do to alter events and cause things to align with God’s perfect will! He sent us as His witnesses and as His ministers.

God has put His Word in our hearts and in our mouths and sent us as saviours to our world, just like Obadiah, the prophet, said, “And saviours shall come up on mount Zion…” (Obadiah 1:21). 생명을 주는 영으로부터 태어났습니다

Born Of The Life-giving Spirit

“우리가 흙에 속한 자의 형상을 입은 것 같이 또한 하늘에 속한 이의 형상을 입으리라”(고전 15:49)

이 땅에 태어난 모든 인간은 자연적인 인간의 생명을 가지고 왔습니다. 그 생명은 썩어버리는 생명으로 죽을 수밖에 없고, 아픔과 질병과 죽음 아래 있습니다. 이는 첫째 아담과 그 이후에 태어나 거듭나지 않은 모든 인류의 생명과 본성입니다.

고린도전서 15:47-48은 말합니다. “첫 사람은 땅에서 났으니 흙에 속한 자이거니와 둘째 사람은 하늘에서 나셨느니라 무릇 흙에 속한 자들은 저 흙에 속한 자와 같고 무릇 하늘에 속한 자들은 저 하늘에 속한 이와 같으니.” 시제를 주목하여 보십시오. “…무릇 흙에 속한 자들은 저 흙에 속한 자와 같고.” 이것은 정확합니다. 그래서 예수님이 니고데모와의 대화에서 그에게 “너는 거듭나야 한다”(요 3:7)고 말씀하신 것입니다.

거듭날 때, 당신은 하늘로부터 주님을 따라 태어납니다. 그러므로 그리스도인으로서 우리는 “지금” 신성한 생명과 하나님의 본성을 가지고 있습니다. 하나님의 생명을 아직 받지 못한 사람은 “흙에 속하였고” 이 세상의 타락과 부정적인 것들에 취약합니다. 이러한 사람은 이 땅의 요소와 시스템에 지배를 받으며 그 부패한 영향력 아래 묻혀있습니다.

그러나 하나님께 감사드립니다! 첫째 아담과 당신의 결속이 완전히 그리고 영원히 끊어졌습니다. 그리스도가 당신의 뿌리이자 유산입니다. 당신은 하나님으로부터 났습니다. “자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고…”(요일 4:4). 죽음이 거듭나지 않은 사람 가운데서 역사하나, 당신은 생명을 주는 영에 속했습니다. “따라서 이와 같이 기록되었으니 ‘첫 사람 아담은 살아 있는 혼이 되었느니라.’ 함과 같이 마지막 아담은 살려 주는 영이 되었느니라”(고전 15:45 한글킹제임스). 생명이 당신 안에서 역사합니다. 하나님께 영광 돌립니다!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 제가 둘째 아담이자 마지막 아담이신 예수 그리스도로부터 태어남으로 말미암아 멸망에서 끊어졌음에 감사합니다. 나는 이 땅에 속한 자가 아닙니다. 나는 하늘에 속했으며, 성도들과 같은 하늘의 시민이자 하나님의 가족이며, 많은 이들을 왕국으로 이끌어오는 자입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BORN OF THE LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT

And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven (1 Corinthians 15:49 AMPC).

Every human person born into this world comes with the natural human life. That life, however, is corruptible; it’s mortal, subject to sickness, disease and death. This was the life and nature of the first Adam and all those born after him?unregenerate men.

1 Corinthians 15:47?48 says, “The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.” Notice the tenses; it says “… as is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy,” and that’s absolutely right. That’s why Jesus, in His communication with Nicodemus, said to him, “You must be born again” (John 3:7).

When you’re born again, you’re born after the Lord from heaven. So, as Christians, we have the divine life, we have the God-nature NOW. The one who’s yet to receive this God-life is “earthy” and susceptible to the depravities and negativities of this world. He or she is subject to the elements and systems of this world and snowed-under by their corrupting influences.

But thanks be unto God! Your ties with the first Adam have been severed completely and forever.

Christ is your root and heritage; you hail from God:

“Ye are of God little children…” (1 John 4:4). Whereas death works in the unregenerate man, you’re of the life-giving Spirit: “And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit” (1 Corinthians 15:45). Life works in you. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you, for I’ve been severed from perishing because I’m born of God, in the likeness of the second and last Adam?Jesus Christ. I’m not of this world; I’m heavenly, a fellow citizen with the saints, and of the household of God, bringing many into the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

He’s Got You Covered

“내가 너를 모태에 짓기 전에 너를 알았고 네가 배에서 나오기 전에 너를 성별하였고 너를 여러 나라의 선지자로 세웠노라 하시기로”(렘 1:5)

종종 자신의 삶을 하나님께 내어드리는 것을 망설이는 사람들이 있습니다. 그들은 하나님께서 그들의 “높은” 꿈과 야망을 바꾸실 것이라고 생각합니다. 그들은 자신이 원하는 대로 인생의 그림과 가기 원하는 방향을 그려놓고는, 만약 그들이 하나님께 자신의 삶을 인도하시도록 허락한다면 하나님께서 그들의 운명을 바꾸어 그들이 원하지 않는 것이 되게 하실 것이라고 생각합니다. 이것은 끔찍한 실수입니다.

주님은 당신을 잘 알고 계시며, 당신보다 당신을 더 사랑하십니다. 그러므로 당신의 인생을 걸고 그분을 신뢰하십시오. 주님은 당신의 성공에 대해 당신이 품을 수 있는 것보다 더 큰 야망을 갖고 계십니다. 그분이 원하시는 것은 당신에게 최고인 것뿐입니다. 주님이 저보다 더 저의 성공에 대해 야망을 갖고 계시고, 제가 상상할 수 있는 것 이상으로 저를 사랑하고 아끼신다는 것을 알았을 때, 제 영혼에 차고 넘쳤던 기쁨이 얼마나 강렬했는지요! 주님은 이 모든 세상을 창조하셨고, 저와 제 미래에 대한 모든 것을 알고 계십니다. 그렇기에 주님을 신뢰하고 그분이 준비하신 길을 따라가는 것은 아주 쉬운 일이었습니다.

종종 저는 이렇게 말합니다. “주님, 당신은 저와 같은 사람을 어떻게 해야 할지 아주 잘 알고 계십니다. 당신은 모든 종류의 사람을 상대한 경험이 있으시니, 제 인생을 가지고도 무엇을 해야 할지 정확히 알고 계십니다.” 당신이 이 사실을 인식할 때, 당신은 담대해지고, 예리해지며, 주의가 흐트러지지 않고, 두려워하지 않게 됩니다. 당신은 자신의 미래가 그분 안에서 안전하다는 것을 알고 있습니다.

당신의 인생을 향한 하나님의 계획을 알고 따라가는 것만큼 성취감을 주며 만족스러운 것은 아무것도 없습니다. 당신의 인생을 향한 하나님의 목적과 일치하지 않는 꿈이나 아이디어, 혹은 영감을 따라가는 것을 멈추십시오. 하나님이 당신을 책임지십니다. 그러므로 그분이 당신을 인도하도록 하십시오.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 나는 오직 당신을 위해 살며, 내 모든 발걸음과 행동은 내 삶을 향한 당신의 목적을 이루는데 맞춰져 있습니다. 나는 주님께 영광과 존귀를 드리기 위해 태어났습니다. 내가 따라가야 할 길로 인도해주시니 감사합니다. 나는 신성한 운명 가운데, 당신의 뜻 가운데 살아갑니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE’S GOT YOU COVERED

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations (Jeremiah 1:5).

There’re those who are hesitant to let God have His way in their lives. They think He’ll change their “lofty” dreams and ambitions. They’ve painted the picture of what they want in life and the direction they want to go, and they think if they let God have His way, He may change their destiny and lead them to become something they don’t want to be. That’s a terrible mistake.

The Lord knows better and loves you more than you love yourself. Therefore, trust Him with your life.

He’s more ambitious for your success than you could ever be. All He’s ever wanted is the best for you. What joy thrilled my soul when I discovered that the Lord was more ambitious for my success than I could ever be, and that He loved and cared for me more than I could ever imagine! He created the whole world and He knows everything about me and about my future.

Therefore, it was easy to trust Him and follow the path that He’s prepared for me. Every so often, I’d say, “Lord, you know exactly what to do with someone like me. You’re experienced in dealing with all kinds of people, so you know exactly what to do with my life.” When you’re conscious of this, you’d become bold, sharp, focused and unafraid;

you’d know that your future is secure in Him.

Nothing could be more fulfilling and gratifying than knowing and following God’s plan for your life.

Stop holding on to some dream, idea or aspirations that aren’t in line with God’s purpose for your life. He’s got you covered; so, let Him guide you.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I live for you alone, every step that I take and move that I make are towards fulfilling your purpose for my life. I was born to bring you glory and honour. Thank you for setting me on the path that I must follow; I live in divine destiny, in the centre of your will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
