Focus On The Lord And His Kingdom
“그 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며 또 다윗의 왕좌와 그의 나라에 군림하여 그 나라를 굳게 세우고 지금 이후로 영원히 정의와 공의로 그것을 보존하실 것이라 만군의 여호와의 열심이 이를 이루시리라”(사 9:7)
다윗은 세상의 모든 나라를 다스릴 왕에 대해 예언했습니다. 그는 시편 72:8에서 이렇게 말했습니다. “그가 바다에서부터 바다까지와 강에서부터 땅 끝까지 다스리리니.”
오늘의 본문 구절은 그 왕에 대해 이렇게 말합니다. “그 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며…” 주 예수님은 우리가 속해 있는 하나님의 왕국을 이끄십니다. 이는 실제로 존재하며 기능하는 영적인 왕국입니다. 이 왕국에 대한 우리의 인식은 중요합니다. 우리는 마치 이 땅에서 모든 것이 끝나는 것처럼 이 세상에 집중해서는 안 됩니다. 이 세상보다 더 위대한 세상이 있습니다.
골로새서 3:1-2은 말합니다. “… 위의 것을 찾으라 거기는 그리스도께서 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시느니라 위의 것을 생각하고 땅의 것을 생각하지 말라.” 어떻게 그럴 수 있습니까? “… 견실하며 흔들리지 말고 항상 주의 일에 더욱 힘쓰는 자들이 되라 이는 너희 수고가 주 안에서 헛되지 않은 줄 앎이라”(고전 15:58).
지금은 마지막 때입니다. 주님과 그분의 왕국에만 당신의 시선을 고정하십시오. 그분에게 집중하십시오. 항상 주님을 위해 불타는 상태를 유지하십시오. 때를 가리지 말고 그분의 진리를 선포하십시오.
고백
나는 흑암의 권세에서 “하나님의 사랑의 아들의 나라”로 옮겨졌습니다. 나는 이 세상에 있지만 하늘 왕국을 인식합니다. 그러므로 나는 영적인 영역에서 기능하며 이 세상의 무엇도 나에게 문제가 되지 않습니다. 멈추지 않는 복음전파를 통해 우리의 왕국이 열방을 다스립니다. 아멘!

FOCUS ON THE LORD AND HIS KINGDOM
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this (Isaiah 9:7).
David prophesied of a king who will rule over the nations of the world. He said in Psalm 72:8, “He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.”
Our opening scripture says concerning that King, “Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end….” The Lord Jesus heads the Kingdom of God, of which we’re a part. It’s a real Kingdom; a functional spiritual kingdom. Our consciousness of the Kingdom is important; we can’t focus our minds on this earth as though everything ends here; there’s a world that’s greater than this.
Colossians 3:1-2 says, “…seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” How? By being “…stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58).
These are the last days; fix your gaze on the Lord and His Kingdom. Make Him your focus. Be on fire for the Lord all the time; be instant in season, and out of season, proclaiming His truth.
CONFESSION
I’ve been transferred from the domain of darkness to the Kingdom of God’s Love-son. Though I’m in the world, I’m conscious of the heavenly Kingdom. I function from the realm of the spirit, and nothing in this physical world matters to me. And indeed, through the unstoppable spread of the Gospel, our Kingdom reigns over the nations. Amen.
