당신의 죄의 본성에 대한 하나님의 의

His Righteousness For Your Sin-nature

“죄가 너희를 주장하지 못하리니…”(롬 6:14)

오늘의 본문 구절은 죄가 당신을 지배하지 못할 것이라고 말합니다. 이는 거듭난 사람은 남녀노소 모두 죄로부터 자유롭게 다시 태어났기 때문입니다. 앞 구절에서 사도 바울은 우리의 의와 구원과 하나님께 받은 은혜가 어떻게 우리에게 왔는지 설명하며, 생각을 일깨우는 질문을 합니다. “죄에 대하여 죽은 우리가 어찌 그 가운데 더 살리요?”

바울은 자신과 다른 사도들에 대해서만 말한 것이 아니라, 우리 모두에게 말한 것입니다. 우리는 죄에 대하여 죽었습니다. 이는 죄가 당신에게 아무런 힘도 쓸 수 없다는 뜻입니다. 죄의 본성이 의의 본성으로 완전히 바뀌었습니다.

고린도전서 15:56은 죄의 권능은 율법이며, 죄가 무엇인지 알리는 율법이 예수님에 의해 폐해졌음을 알려줍니다. 에베소서 2:14-15은 말합니다. “그는 우리의 화평이신지라 둘로 하나를 만드사 원수 된 것 곧 중간에 막힌 담을 자기 육체로 허시고 법조문으로 된 계명의 율법을 폐하셨으니…”

주 예수님은 우리에게 죄와 사망과 무덤을 이기는 승리를 주셨습니다! 우리가 의롭게 만들어졌을 뿐 아니라, 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 의가 되었습니다. 이 계시로 당신 자신을 바라보십시오. 이와 반대로 거듭나지 않은 사람은 본질상 죄인이며, 죄 아래에서 붙잡혀 있습니다. 그는 죄를 짓고 싶지 않아도 죄를 지을 수밖에 없습니다. 그가 죄의 본성을 가지고 있기 때문입니다.

하지만 당신은 그렇지 않습니다. 당신은 본질적으로 의롭습니다. 하나님께서 그렇게 만드셨습니다. 당신의 의는 하나님으로부터 온 선물이며(롬 5:17), 그 의는 당신으로 하여금 바른 일을 하고, 의롭게 살 수 있는 능력을 줍니다.

인간의 완벽함에 도달하고자 애쓰는 노력으로 당신 스스로를 의롭게 할 수 있는 방법은 없습니다. 또한 마찬가지로, 하나님 앞에서 당신을 덜 의롭게 만드는 방법은 없습니다. 당신은 예수님께서 의로우신 것만큼 의롭습니다. 하나님께서 당신의 죄의 본성을 그분의 의로 대체하셨기 때문입니다.

고백

HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR YOUR SIN-NATURE

“For sin shall not have dominion over you…” (Romans 6:14).

Our opening verse says sin shall not have dominion over you; this is because the man or woman who’s born again is born sin-free. In a previous verse, the Apostle Paul, talking about our righteousness, salvation and the grace that we’ve received from God and how they came about, asked a thought-provoking question, “How shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”

Paul wasn’t referring to himself and the other apostles alone, but to all of us; we’re dead to sin. That means sin has no power over you, because the nature of sin was supplanted with the nature of righteousness.

1 Corinthians 15:56 lets us know that the strength of sin is the Law, but the very thing that gave life to sin, which is the Law, has been abolished by Jesus. Ephesians 2:14-15 says, “For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances….”

The Lord Jesus has given us victory over sin, death and the grave! We’ve been made, not just righteous, but the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. See yourself in this light. The unregenerate man, the person who isn’t born again, on the other hand, is a sinner by nature, and enslaved to sin. He can’t but sin, even when he doesn’t want to, because he has the nature of sin.

But this isn’t the case with you; you’re righteous by nature. God made it so. Your righteousness is a gift from God (Romans 5:17), and that righteousness gives you the ability to do right and live right.

There’s nothing you could have done on your own, through your own human perfection to become righteous. Likewise, there’s also nothing you can do or not do that’ll make you less righteous before God. You’re as righteous as Jesus is righteous, because He substituted His righteousness for your sin-nature.

CONFESSION

Being justified by faith, I’ve been made righteous; I’m sin-free, because Christ has given me a new life. He substituted His righteousness for my sin-nature. Now, I’m alive to God, and live unto righteousness; I’m washed; I’m sanctified; I’m justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Amen!

오늘의 본문 구절의 시제를 한번 생각해 보십시오! 우리가 무엇을 가지고 있는지 보십시오! 이것은 당신이 약함, 실패, 패배, 가난, 질병을 결코 생각해서는 안 되는 이유 중 하나입니다. 당신의 삶은 하나님께서 그분의 은혜를 찬미하도록 미리 정하시고 세심하게 계획하셨습니다. 하나님은 그분의 은혜의 영광의 찬송을 위하여 우리를 그리스도 안에 세우시기로 미리 계획하셨습니다. 사람들이 우리를 보면 “와, 하나님은 위대하시다!”라고 말할 정도로 우리에게는 은혜가 넘칩니다.

이는 당신의 삶에 좌절감, 슬픔, 우울함이 있을 자리가 없다는 뜻입니다. 다른 사람을 질투하거나 부러워할 필요가 없습니다. 당신은 훌륭한 삶을 살도록 지어졌습니다. 하나님은 당신의 삶에 관해 모든 것을 고심하며 갖추셨습니다. 우리 중 누구도 실수가 아닙니다.

당신의 삶에는 하나님께서 모르고 계셨던 것이나 깜짝 놀랄만한 일이 하나도 없습니다. 그리고 이 모든 것은 그분의 탁월한 지혜에 기반을 두고 있습니다. 오늘의 본문 구절을 이어서 8절까지 읽어 보십시오. 성경은 말합니다. “이로써 그가 모든 지혜와 총명을 우리에게 넘치게 하사.”

기도

YOUR LIFE IS CAREFULLY PLANNED BY GOD

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved” (Ephesians 1:4-6).

Consider the tenses in what we just read! Look what we’ve got! It’s part of the reasons you should never think weakness, failure, defeat, poverty or sickness. Your life was preordained and carefully planned by God for the praise of His grace. He planned ahead of time to bring us up in Christ for the praise of the glory of His grace so that when people see us, they say, “Wow, God is great!”

It parallels something similar that the Bible says in Ephesians 2:10 AMPC: “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].” He preordained you for an excellent life. Glory to God.

That means there’s no room for frustration, sadness and gloom in your life. No need to be jealous or envious of anyone. You were fashioned for an excellent life. He had everything about your life well thought out; none of us is a mistake.

There’s nothing about your life that God didn’t know was coming; no surprises. And all these are based on His excellent wisdom. Read our theme scripture further to the 8th verse; it says, “Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence.”

In other words, there’s nothing about your life that’s outside the framework of God’s conception. He’s already done everything He needed to do for your life to be a continual stream of testimonies. Therefore, live joyfully every day, praising Him. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I live joyfully every day, praising you, knowing that I have your nature in me, and I also have your brand on me. I’m fashioned for good works, and to live the good life which you have prearranged for me. There’s no room for frustration, sadness and gloom in my life, because I’m a superior being, created without any defect. I function perfectly and excellently for your glory. Amen.

끊임없이 증가하는 번영

Ever-increasing Prosperity

“온갖 좋은 은사와 온전한 선물이 다 위로부터 빛들의 아버지께로부터 내려오나니 그는 변함도 없으시고 회전하는 그림자도 없으시니라”(약 1:17)

한때 재정적으로 아주 잘 지내던 사람이 갑자기 상상할 수 없을 만큼 장기간의 재정적 어려움을 겪기 시작하면 무엇인가 잘못된 것입니다. 이것이 하나님의 자녀를 향한 하나님의 계획이 아님을 그 사람이 분별하지 못한다면, 그는 자신의 곤경에 대해 상황이나, 정부, 또는 다른 사람들을 탓할 것입니다.

그 사람은 심지어 자신이 해서는 안 되는 행동을 취했다며 자기 자신을 탓할 수도 있습니다. 하지만 정말 중요한 질문은 이것입니다. 그는 진리를 알고 있습니까? 당신이 누구인지, 하나님이 누구이신지, 그분 안에 당신이 가진 것이 무엇인지, 그분이 당신에게 누구이신지 아는 것이 매우 중요합니다. 하나님이 당신의 근원이십니다.

성경은 여호와께 복을 받는 사람이 어떤 모습인지 선포합니다. “그는 물가에 심어진 나무가 그 뿌리를 강변에 뻗치고 더위가 올지라도 두려워하지 아니하며 그 잎이 청청하며 가무는 해에도 걱정이 없고 결실이 그치지 아니함 같으리라.”(렘 17:8) 이 성경 구절은 하나님의 계획을 따르는 그분의 백성에게 지속적인 번영이 얼마나 확실하게 약속되어 있는지 알려줍니다.

새로운 피조물로서 받은 당신의 유산 중 하나는 당신이 끝없는 공급에 연결되어 있다는 것입니다. 당신의 공급은 결코 고갈되지 않습니다. 당신의 공급은 정부나, 사회, 당신의 직업, 사업, 가족 또는 그 밖의 다른 누구도 아닙니다. 당신의 공급은 주님이십니다. 당신의 재정적 풍요를 위해 하나님의 원리에 따라 움직이며, 주님을 바라보고 주님을 신뢰하십시오.

고백

주님은 나의 목자이십니다. 주님은 나를 먹이시고, 인도하시고, 보호하십니다. 나는 아무것도 부족하지 않습니다! 그분은 나를 신선하고 부드러운 푸른 초장에 누이시며, 나를 잔잔한 물가로 인도하십니다! 그러므로 나는 점점 증가하는 번영 가운데서 걸으며, 어떤 도움이나 지원이 필요하지 않을 만큼 충분히 소유하고, 모든 선한 일과 구제 활동을 위해 풍성하게 준비되어 있습니다! 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

EVER-INCREASING PROSPERITY

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17).

Something is wrong when someone who was once doing very well financially, suddenly starts experiencing unimaginable, protracted financial trouble. Until and unless that individual discerns that that isn’t God’s plan for any of His children, he may blame circumstances, the government or other people around him for his predicament.

He might even blame himself for taking certain actions that he shouldn’t have. But the question is: Does he really know the truth? It’s important that you know who you are, who God is, what you have in Him, and who He is to you. God is your source.

The Bible says we’re heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. In Christ, your prosperity is stable and ever-increasing. It’s from glory to glory. We don’t go up to come down. It makes no difference the level of inflation, and how unstable the world’s economy gets, when you recognize that your true source is the Lord, you’ll be independent of circumstances, unruffled by the state of the world’s economy.

The Bible declares what the one who’s blessed of the Lord shall be like. It says, “For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit” (Jeremiah 17:8). This tells you something about the consistency of the prosperity of God’s people, following God’s plans.

Part of your new creation heritage is that you’re plugged to an unending supply. Your source never runs dry. Your source isn’t the government, society, your job, business, family or anyone else for that matter; it’s the Lord. Look to Him and trust Him for your finances as you act on His principles for financial abundance.

CONFESSION

The Lord is my Shepherd—to feed, guide, and shield me; I lack nothing! He makes me lie down in fresh, tender green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters! Therefore, I walk in ever-increasing prosperity, possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation! Glory to God!

좋은 삶을 위해 태어났습니다

Born For The Good Life

“우리는 하나님께서 [직접] 손수 만드신 작품(그분의 솜씨)이며, [하나님께서 미리 준비해 놓으신 길을 따라] 그분께서 우리를 위해 예정하신(사전에 계획하신) 선한 일을 하고, 그 안에서 [그분께서 우리가 미리 계획하시고 준비하신 좋은 삶을 살며] 행하도록 그리스도 예수 안에서 [거듭난] 자입니다.”(엡 2:10, 확대번역본)

요한복음 10:10(확대번역본)에서 예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “…내가 온 것은 양들로 생명을 얻고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려 함이라(최대한으로, 넘쳐흐를 때까지).” 당신은 그저 살기 위해 태어난 것이 아니라, 하나님께서 당신을 위해 미리 예비하신 좋은 삶, 곧 탁월한 삶을 살도록 태어났습니다.

이것이 바로 당신이 항상 기쁨과 힘으로 가득 차서 위대한 일을 하며 매일 당신의 세상을 축복해야 하는 이유입니다. 하나님께서 당신에게 위대한 인생을 주셨습니다. 목적과 능력, 풍성함이 있는 삶을 주셨습니다. 당신이 무슨 도전을 마주하고 있든 상관없습니다. 당신은 그리스도 예수 안에서 승리하였습니다.

예수님은 당신에게 이 땅 너머의 생명, 즉 무너져가는 이 세상의 타락과 부패보다 우월한 생명을 주셨습니다. 신성한 생명을 주셨습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다! 어쩌면 당신은 의사가 당신에 대해 내린 진단 때문에 두려움 속에 살아왔을 수 있습니다. 당신 안에 있는 생명이 질병보다 우월합니다.

로마서 8:10은 말합니다. “또 그리스도께서 너희 안에 계시면 몸은 죄로 말미암아 죽은 것이나 영은 의로 말미암아 살아 있는 것이니라.” 당신은 질병과 아픔이 당신을 사로잡지 못하는 위치에 도착했습니다. 그러므로 두려움을 버리십시오.

당신 안에 계신 그분은 당신을 속박하려는 어떤 질병보다도 더 크십니다. “자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라.”(요일 4:4)

당신은 당뇨병, 심장병, 가슴 통증, 암, 자궁근종, 다른 어떤 건강 문제라도 이미 극복했습니다! 온전한 건강, 번영, 평강과 말할 수 없는 기쁨, 그리고 영광이 가득한 삶을 살고 즐기십시오. 할렐루야!

고백

나는 창세 전부터 나를 위하여 예정된 좋은 인생을 살고 있습니다. 나는 날마다 그리스도의 승리와 영광과 주권과 의 가운데 살고 있습니다. 나는 성공입니다. 나는 건강하게 살아갑니다. 하나님의 생명이 내 안에 있기 때문입니다. 내 몸은 성령님의 성전입니다! 하나님을 송축합니다!

BORN FOR THE GOOD LIFE

“For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]” (Ephesians 2:10 AMPC).

In John 10:10 AMPC, Jesus said, “…I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” You weren’t born to merely live, but to live the good life which God prepared for you ahead of time—an excellent life.

It’s the reason you should always be full of joy and strength, doing great things, blessing your world every day. He’s given you a great life; a life of purpose, power and abundance. It doesn’t matter the challenges you face; you’re victorious in Christ Jesus.

Jesus gave you a life that’s beyond this world, a life that’s superior to the decadence and corruption of this failing world; a life that’s divine. Glory to God! Maybe you’ve been living in fear because of some diagnosis from the doctors about your health; the life in you is superior to sickness.

The Bible says in Romans 8:10 ESV, “If Christ be in you, although the body may be dead, because of sin, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness.” You’ve arrived in the place where sickness and disease have lost their grip on you. Therefore, let go of the fears.

Greater is He that’s in you than any sickness that may attempt to fasten itself on you: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

You’ve overcome diabetes, heart trouble, chest pain, cancer, fibroid, or whatever health challenge it may be! Live and enjoy your life in sound health, prosperity, peace and joy unspeakable, and full of glory. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I’m living the good life prearranged for me before the foundation of the world. I live in the victory, glory, dominion, righteousness of Christ every day. I’m a success; I live in health, because the life of God is in me; my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit! Blessed be God!

Live For Christ

“그리스도의 사랑이 우리를 강권하시는도다 우리가 생각하건대 한 사람이 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽었은즉 모든 사람이 죽은 것이라”(고후 5:14)

인생의 목적을 이해하지 못하는 사람들이 많습니다. 그래서 그들은 많은 부나 소유물을 축적하는 것이 위대한 삶이라고 생각합니다. 그렇지 않습니다. 예수님은 누가복음 12:15에서 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “…삼가 모든 탐심을 물리치라 사람의 생명이 그 소유의 넉넉한 데 있지 아니하니라 하시고.”

예수님은 또한 농작물의 수확량이 너무 많아서 기존 창고를 헐고 새 창고를 지어야 했던 한 부자에 대해 가르쳐 주셨습니다. 그 부자는 자신을 위해 아주 많은 것들을 누릴 생각에 들떠 있었습니다.

하지만 그가 자신이 쌓아 올린 것들에 대해 생각하고 있을 때, 하나님이 그의 방에 오셔서 말씀하셨습니다. “어리석은 자여 오늘 밤에 네 영혼을 도로 찾으리니 그러면 네 준비한 것이 누구의 것이 되겠느냐 하셨으니.”(눅 12:20)

이 세상에서 당신의 삶의 목적은 무엇입니까? 당신은 왜 이 땅에 있습니까? 예수 그리스도의 복음을 땅끝까지 전파하기 위함입니다. 우리 주 예수님께서는 말씀하셨습니다. “또 이르시되 너희는 온 천하에 다니며 만민에게 복음을 전파하라.”(막 16:15) 마태복음 28:19절에서는 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아…”

LIVE FOR CHRIST

“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead” (2 Corinthians 5:14).

There’re many who don’t understand the purpose for life. So they think a great life is when you’ve amassed a lot of wealth or earthly possessions; no. Jesus said in Luke 12:15, “…Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”

He also taught about a rich man who had such a bountiful harvest that he needed to tear down his storehouses and build new ones to store his crops. He was excited to have laid up so much supplies for himself.

But while he was relishing the thought of all that he had amassed, God came into his room and said, “You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?” (Luke 12:20 NIV)

What’s the purpose for your life in this world? Why are you here? It’s to make sure the Gospel of Jesus Christ goes to the ends of the earth. Our Lord Jesus said, “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). In Matthew 28:19, He said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations….”

Personalize your role in the Gospel and say like the Apostle Paul, “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust (1 Timothy 1:11). Recall what the Lord said to him in Acts 26:16, “…I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness…” (Acts 26:16).

We are His witnesses; it should be what excites you. You may not be a Pastor, evangelist, teacher, prophet or Apostle, but you’re a minister of reconciliation, called to be a soul-winner. So, live your life for Christ unreservedly! Come what may, stand for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom! Preach the Gospel no matter what.

CONFESSION

I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and I live for Him. He’s made me a passionate, committed and fearless soul winner, and today, through me, many receive the Gospel gladly and are converted to the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

A Witness To Your Generation

하나님은 당신의 친구와 직장 동료, 동업자, 동창, 가족, 이웃 주민, 그리고 당신과 연결된 아직 거듭나지 않은 모든 사람이 당신을 통해 복음을 듣게 되기를 기대하신다는 것을 알고 계셨습니까? 그들은 모두 하나님께서 당신에게 맡기신 신뢰에 달려있습니다. 하나님은 그들의 증인으로서 당신에게 책임을 물으십니다.

A WITNESS TO YOUR GENERATION

“And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him” (Acts 5:32).

Did you know that God expects your friends and colleagues, co-workers, business associates, schoolmates, family members, co-tenants, and all those He ever connects you with who aren’t yet born again will get to hear the Gospel through you, for their salvation? They’re all hanging on to the trust committed to you by God. He holds you responsible as their witness.

You’re the witness to your generation. Therefore, be committed to bringing salvation to those in your world. That’s where your fulfilment in life lies. You become a fruit-producing branch, fulfilling what Jesus said in John 15:5, “I am the vine; you’re the branches.”

You’re a fruit-bearing branch, bearing fruits of righteousness and manifesting works of righteousness. You carry the seeds of the Kingdom of God inside of you. That’s your number one ministry in life. Remember the words of Jesus: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).

Make the expansion of His Kingdom in the earth your priority, and His glory will be manifested in and through you. You have to come to the realization that the Gospel, the same message that saved your life has been committed to your trust.

Paul knew it. Hence he declared in 1 Timothy 1:11, he affirmed, “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.” Take personal responsibility for the Gospel and you’ll live an absolutely fulfilling and impactful life.

PRAYER

Dear Lord, thank you for the blessing of being counted faithful to be a minister of reconciliation. Thank you for your glorious Gospel which has been committed to my trust. I’ll keep preaching it boldly everywhere and to everyone, until the whole earth is filled with the knowledge of your glory, and your salvation and righteousness rain upon the nations, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Ambassadors Of Divine Verities

“또 나를 위하여는 내게 말하는 것을 허락하사 내가 담대히 입을 열어 복음의 신비를 알리도록 구하라. 이 일을 위하여 내가 결박당한 대사가 된 것은 결박 중에서도 마땅히 할 말을 내가 담대히 하게 하려 함이요”(엡 6:19-20, 한글 흠정역)

오늘의 본문 구절에서 바울은 자신을 복음의 대사라고 불렀습니다. 우리 모두도 이와 마찬가지임을 알고 계셨습니까? 우리는 신성한 진리의 대사들입니다. 우리는 의를 가르치는 자들입니다. 우리 구주 하나님의 명령을 따라 복음이 당신에게 맡겨졌습니다(딛 1:2-3, 한글 흠정역).

우리는 복음을 전파해야 합니다. 우리는 듣지 못한 자들에게 말해야 합니다. 그렇지 않으면 그들은 결코 복음을 믿고 구원받을 기회를 얻지 못할 것입니다. 로마서 10:13-14은 말합니다. “누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 받으리라 그런즉 그들이 믿지 아니하는 이를 어찌 부르리요… 전파하는 자가 없이 어찌 들으리요.”

하나님은 창세 전에 영생을 약속하셨습니다. 이제 그분은 약속을 이루셨고, 복음 전파를 통해 영생을 가능하게 만드셨습니다. 우리는 신성한 명령의 관리인이자 전달자가 되는 축복을 받았습니다. 사람들은 우리가 전파하기 전까지는 다른 어떤 경로로도 복음에 닿을 수 없습니다.

복음 전파를 당신의 삶의 우선 순위에 두십시오. 그것이 진정으로 중요한 전부이기 때문입니다. 당신의 세상과 그 너머의 지역에서 복음을 듣도록 예정된 모든 사람에게 복음이 전해지도록 하십시오.

AMBASSADORS OF DIVINE VERITIES

“And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak” (Ephesians 6:19-20).

In our opening verse Paul referred to himself as an ambassador of the Gospel. Did you know that the same is true of every one of us? We’re ambassadors of divine verities; we’re preachers of righteousness. The preaching of the Gospel has been committed to you according to the commandment of God our Saviour (Titus 1:2-3).

We’ve got to preach the Gospel; we’ve got to tell the untold, or they’ll never have the chance to believe it and be saved. Romans 10:13-14 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they…hear without a preacher?”

This is why you must passionately preach the Gospel every day and everywhere. The Apostle Paul took it personal. He said, “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust” (1 Timothy 1:11). As far as he was concerned it behoved him to preach the Gospel to the whole world even if he had to do it alone.

Now you can understand why he said, “…necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” (1 Corinthians 9:16). There’s no salvation without the Gospel. Titus 1:2-3 tells us something beautiful; it says, “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour.”

God promised eternal life before the world began, and now, He has fulfilled His promise and made eternal life available through the preaching of the Gospel. We’re blessed to be the custodians and bearers of the divine order. They’re not going to get the Gospel any other way, until we preach it to them.

Make this your priority, as it’s all that truly matters. Ensure the Gospel gets to as many as have been ordained to receive it in your world and in the regions beyond.

CONFESSION

I’m vibrant and aglow in the spirit, serving the Lord as an ambassador of Christ in the Gospel. Through me, the Gospel is reaching many who have been ordained for salvation; they’re transferred from darkness into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Hallelujah!

Live The Truth And Live In Truth

“진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라”(요 8:32)

우리는 하나님의 말씀으로 창조되었으며, 그분의 말씀은 진리입니다. 이는 우리가 진리로 창조되었다는 뜻입니다. 이것이 바로 진리가 당신의 영에 영원한 영향력을 미치는 이유입니다. 진리는 당신의 삶에 성공, 승리, 번영, 건강이라는 영원한 효과를 가져옵니다. 진리가 당신의 생명의 원천이기 때문입니다. 그렇기 때문에 허위 사실, 기만, 속임수, 거짓, 그리고 거짓말은 인간의 영을 파괴합니다.

오늘의 본문 구절은 “진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유케 하리라”라고 말합니다. 인간은 하나님에 의해 자유하도록 창조되었고, 또한 자유롭게 그분을 섬기도록 창조되었으므로 그는 속박될 수 없습니다. 진리가 그의 진짜 본성이기 때문입니다.

거듭나기 전 당신은 죄의 지배 아래 있었기 때문에 진리를 행할 능력도 없고 진리 가운데 살 능력도 없었습니다. 하지만 이제 성경은 말합니다. “죄가 너희를 주장하지 못하리니…”(롬 6:14)

당신에게는 거짓말하는 습관을 없앨 수 있는 능력이 있습니다. 이것을 위해 울부짖거나 하나님께 간구할 필요도 없습니다. 단지 거짓말을 버리겠다고 결단하십시오. 성경은 말합니다. “생명을 사랑하고 좋은 날 보려고 하는 사람은 혀를 다스려 악한 말을 하지 못하게 하며, 입술을 닫아서 거짓말을 하지 못하게 하여라.”(벧전 3:10, 새번역)

잠언 6:16-19에는 주께서 미워하시는 여섯 가지를 나타내고 있는데, 그중 하나가 “거짓말을 하는 거짓 증인”입니다. 진리는 당신의 영 안에 있으며, 당신이 진리 안에서 행할 때마다 당신은 승리하며 당신의 영은 빛이 납니다. 당신이 어떤 상황에 부닥쳐 있든 상관없이 진리가 당신을 압도할 것입니다. 진리는 영원하기 때문입니다. “진실한 입술은 영원히 보존되거니와 거짓 혀는 잠시 동안만 있을 뿐이니라.”(잠12:19) 하나님을 송축합니다!

고백

하나님의 말씀은 나의 생각, 습관, 성품을 인도하시며 궁극적으로 나의 삶을 세워갑니다. 나는 모든 종류의 죄를 다스립니다. 나는 진리 안에 거합니다. 진리가 나의 본성이기 때문입니다. 그러므로 나는 모든 상황에서 언제나 승리하며, 항상 영 안에서 빛나고 있습니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

LIVE THE TRUTH AND LIVE IN TRUTH

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).

We were created by God’s Word, and His Word is truth; that means we were created by truth. This is why truth has an eternal effect on your spirit; it has an eternal effect of success, victory, prosperity, health in your life, because truth is your source. That’s why falsehood, deceit, deception, lies and lying destroy the human spirit.

Our theme verse says, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,” because man was created by God to be free, to be at liberty to serve Him; he can’t be bound, because truth is his true nature.

Before you were born again, you didn’t have the ability to live the truth and live in truth, because you were under the dominion of sin. But now, the Bible says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you…” (Romans 6:14).

You have the ability to do away with the habit of telling lies. You don’t need to cry or even ask God to take it away from you. Simply make up your mind to put away lying. The Bible says, “If you want a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, and guard your lips from telling lies” (1 Peter 3:10 TLB).

Proverbs 6:16-19 lists six things that the Lord detests and one of them is “a false witness that speaketh lies.” Truth is in your spirit, and whenever you live in truth, you’re triumphant, your spirit glows. It doesn’t matter in what situation you may find yourself, truth will put you over, because truth is eternal: “The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment” (Proverbs 12:19). Praise God!

CONFESSION

God’s Word guides my thoughts, habits, character, and ultimately builds my life. I have the dominion over every kind of sin. I live in truth, because truth is my true nature. Therefore, I’m triumphant over every situation, ever glowing in the spirit. Praise God!

예수님은 성령으로 우리에게 오셨습니다

He Came To Us In The Holy Spirit

“가서 너희를 위하여 거처를 예비하면 내가 다시 와서 너희를 내게로 영접하여 나 있는 곳에 너희도 있게 하리라”(요 14:3)

많은 사람이 오늘의 본문 구절에서 주 예수님께서 “내가 다시 와서 너희를 내게로 영접하리라”고 말씀하신 것이 무엇을 의미하는지 여전히 고심하고 있습니다. 어떤 사람들은 그분이 재림이나 휴거를 언급하신 것이라고 생각하지만, 그것은 예수님께서 이 구절에서 말씀하시고자 한 것이 아닙니다.

예수님의 뜻을 이해하려면 문맥을 살피고, 감각이 아닌 영으로 그분의 메시지를 이해해야 합니다. 당신이 같은 장 전체를 공부해 보면 예수님께서는 비슷한 주제의 흥미로운 대화를 지속하고 계심을 발견할 것입니다. 그분은 16절에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와 함께 있게 하시리라.”

“또 다른 보혜사”라는 용어는 그리스어로 “알로스 파라클레토스(Allos parakletos)”인데, 이는 같은 종류의 다른 것이라는 뜻입니다. 이때, 예수님은 성령님을 소개하시고 “…그러나 너희는 그를 아나니 그는 너희와 함께 거하심이요 또 너희 속에 계시겠음이라.”(요14:17)고 설명하셨습니다. 그 당시 성령님은 어떻게 그들과 함께 하셨습니까? 성령님은 오순절 날에 오시기로 되어 있지 않았습니까?

이 사실은 우리에게 무언가를 알려줍니다. 예수님께서는 성령님에 대해서만 말씀하고 계셨던 것이 아니라 그분 자신에 대해서도 말씀하신 것입니다. 다시 오늘의 주제로 돌아가서, 예수님께서는 오늘 본문 구절에서 이 부분을 말씀하고 계셨던 것입니다. “내가 다시 와서 너희를 내게로 영접하리라.” 그리고 18절에서 예수님은 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너희를 고아와 같이 버려두지 아니하고 너희에게로 오리라.” 그분은 언제 어떻게 그들에게 오신다고 하신 것입니까?

20절에서 예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “그 날에는 내가 아버지 안에, 너희가 내 안에, 내가 너희 안에 있는 것을 너희가 알리라.” 예수님이 말씀하신 날은 언제입니까? 그분은 분명하게 성령이 오시는 날에 대해 말씀하고 계셨던 것입니다! 그러므로 예수님이 “내가 너희에게 갈 것이다”라고 말씀하신 것은 “내가 성령으로 너희에게 갈 것이다!”라는 뜻이었습니다.

하나님께 감사드립니다! 오순절 날, 그분은 소중한 약속을 성취하셨습니다. “그들이 다 성령의 충만함을 받고 성령이 말하게 하심을 따라 다른 언어들로 말하기를 시작하니라.”(행 2:4) 예수님은 오늘 당신 안에 그분의 충만으로 계십니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!

기도

복되신 하늘에 계신 아버지, 내 안에 성령의 충만함을 주시고, 성령님의 내주하심으로 인해 나의 삶에 영광과 탁월함이 있게 하심에 감사드립니다. 성령님으로 말미암아 나의 믿음은 강건해집니다. 하나님의 뜻을 행하고 나를 향한 하나님의 목적을 이루도록 나의 믿음은 휘저어집니다. 나는 당신의 인도하심에 나를 내어드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE CAME TO US IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:3).

Many still grapple with what the Lord Jesus meant in the verse above when He said, “I will come again, and receive you unto myself.” Some think He was referring to the Second Coming or the Rapture, but that’s not what He was talking about in that verse.

To understand what Jesus meant, you’ll have to stay in the context, and understand His message with your spirit, not with your senses. When you study the full chapter you’d observe that He continued the same interesting discourse till He got to the 16th verse where He said, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.”

The term, “another Comforter” is the Greek phrase, “Allos paraklētos,” meaning another of the same kind. Jesus introduced the Holy Spirit at that point. Then He said, “…ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you” (John 14:17). How did the Holy Spirit dwell with them at the time? Wasn’t He supposed to come on the Day of Pentecost?

That tells us something. He wasn’t talking about the Holy Spirit alone, He was also referring to Himself! To drive that point home, He went back to what He said in our theme verse, “I will come again, and receive you unto myself.” Then in verse 18, He said, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” How and when would He come to them?

In the 20th verse, He said, “At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” What day was He talking about? Evidently, He was talking about the day when the Holy Spirit comes! So, when He said, “I will come to you,” He meant “I’ll come to you in the Holy Spirit!”

And thanks be unto God! On the Day of Pentecost, He fulfilled that precious promise: “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:4). He’s in you today in all His fullness. Praise God!

PRAYER

Thank you blessed heavenly Father for the fullness of the Spirit in me and the glory and excellence of my life as a result of your indwelling presence. By the Holy Spirit, my faith is strengthened and stirred to do the will of God and fulfil God’s purpose for my life, as I yield to your guidance and leading, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Keep Your Faith Active

“믿음이 없이는 하나님을 기쁘시게 하지 못하나니 하나님께 나아가는 자는 반드시 그가 계신 것과 또한 그가 자기를 찾는 자들에게 상 주시는 이심을 믿어야 할지니라”(히 11:6)

하나님의 왕국의 모든 것은 믿음의 원리로 움직입니다. 그러므로 당신의 믿음을 성장시키는 것은 매우 중요합니다. 휴거 때에도 당신의 믿음이 필요합니다. 모든 사람이 나팔 소리를 듣는 것이 아니기 때문입니다.

고린도전서 15:52은 말합니다. “나팔 소리가 나매 죽은 자들이 썩지 아니할 것으로 다시 살아나고 우리도 변화되리라.” 나팔 소리는 그리스도 안에서 죽은 그리스도인들과 그때 살아 있는 그리스도인들에게만 들리게 될 것입니다.

다른 사람들은 나팔 소리를 듣지 못할 것입니다. 그 나팔 소리는 오직 믿음으로만 들을 수 있습니다. 하지만 당신은 그것을 듣기 위해 어떤 노력을 할 필요가 없습니다. 그리스도인으로서 당신은 이미 믿음으로 살고 있기 때문입니다. 당신의 삶에 있는 모든 것과 하나님과 당신의 관계는 모두 믿음에 의한 것입니다. 그러므로 당신은 나팔 소리를 들을 것입니다.

성경은 말합니다. “믿음으로 에녹은 죽음을 보지 않고 옮겨졌으니 하나님이 그를 옮기심으로 다시 보이지 아니하였느니라…”(히 11:5) 에녹은 믿음으로 휴거되었습니다. 그러므로 당신이 예수 그리스도를 믿는 믿음이 있으면 걱정할 것이 없습니다. 당신도 나팔 소리를 들을 수 있음을 믿으십시오.

모든 그리스도인은 휴거에 도달하게 됩니다. 휴거에 이르지 못한 사람은 믿음의 삶을 살지 않았으며 주님을 위해 살지 않았다는 뜻입니다. 당신의 믿음을 유지하십시오. 날마다 주님을 위해 살아가십시오. 사랑과 의 가운데 걸으십시오. 다른 사람들이 휴거와 하나님의 왕국에 들어갈 준비를 할 수 있도록 돕는 것에 집중하십시오.

KEEP YOUR FAITH ACTIVE

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).

Everything in the Kingdom of God operates by the principle of faith. So nurturing your faith is so important. Even for the Rapture, your faith would be required because not everyone will hear the sound of the trumpet.

The Bible says, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (1 Corinthians 15:52). The sound of the trumpet will be audible only to the Christians who died in Christ already and those alive at the time.

Everybody else won’t hear it, because the sound of the trumpet would only be heard by faith. But it’s not something you’re going to make an effort to hear, because as a Christian, you already live by faith. Everything about your life and your relationship with God is by faith; therefore, you’re going to hear it.

The Bible says, “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found…” (Hebrews 11:5). He was raptured by faith. So, with your faith in Jesus Christ, you have nothing to worry about; trust that when the trumpet sounds, you’re going to hear it.

Every Christian ought to go at the Rapture. It therefore means that anyone who doesn’t hasn’t been living the life of faith and living for the Lord. Keep your faith alive, and live for the Master every day. Walk in love and in righteousness. Focus on getting others ready for the Rapture and into the Kingdom of God.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for my faith in Jesus Christ that’s unwavering and unshakable. I walk in the light of your Word and of my salvation, passionate about the expansion of your Kingdom in the earth, and the reign of your righteousness in the hearts of men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
