우리는 말로 다스립니다

We Reign With Words

“여호와께서 내 주에게 말씀하시기를 내가 네 원수들로 네 발판이 되게 하기까지 너는 내 오른쪽에 앉아 있으라 하셨도다 여호와께서 시온에서부터 주의 권능의 규를 내보내시리니 주는 원수들 중에서 다스리소서…”(시 110:1-4)

오늘의 본문 구절에서 “다스리다”로 번역된 히브리어 “라다(radah)”는 “통치하다”와 동의어입니다. 다스린다는 것은 통치권과 왕적 권위를 행사한다는 뜻입니다. 우리가 방금 읽은 내용은 천국에 계신 예수님, 우리의 대제사장에 관한 내용입니다.

이 부분은 예수님의 권세에 대한 놀라운 사실들을 설명해줍니다. 예를 들어, “주의 권능의 규”는 그분의 능력의 지팡이를 의미합니다. 이는 시편 45:3-6에서 읽을 수 있는 내용과 유사합니다. “… 하나님이여 주의 보좌는 영원하며 주의 나라의 규는 공평한 규이니이다”

히브리서 1:8도 예수님에 관한 동일한 진리를 밝힙니다. “아들에 관하여는 하나님이여 주의 보좌는 영영하며 주의 나라의 규는 공평한 규이니이다” 이 구절은 그분께서 보좌에 앉으신 때에 대해 밝혀줍니다. 이것이 그리스도 안에서 새로운 피조물인 우리에게는 어떻게 적용됩니까? 요한계시록 5:10은 말합니다. “그들로 우리 하나님 앞에서 나라와 제사장들을 삼으셨으니 그들이 땅에서 왕 노릇 하리로다 하더라”

말로 다스리십시오. 말로 당신의 신성한 권세를 행사하며 대적들 가운데 다스리십시오.

고백

나는 나의 다스리는 위치를 차지하고, 예수 이름 안에서 말로 상황들을 다스립니다. 내가 말하는 말은 성령님의 열매 맺는 능력으로 가득 차 있습니다. 나는 열방에 평안, 번영, 건강, 온전함을 말하며, 복음의 빛이 어두운 곳에 구원이 속히 전파될 것을 선포합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

WE REIGN WITH WORDS

“The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion. Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies…”(Psalm 110:1-4).

The Hebrew word translated “rule” in the opening scripture is “Radah,” which is essentially synonymous with “reign.” To rule means to exercise dominion and kingly authority. What we read in our opening verses is about Jesus in heaven at the time in which He is the High Priest.

That portion unveils some amazing descriptions of His authority. For example, the phrase “the rod of thy strength” essentially means the sceptre of His power. It’s akin to what we have in Psalm 45:3-6 (NIV): “Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.”

Hebrews 1:8 also allude to the same truth concerning Jesus. It says, “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever. A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.” This unfolds while He is seated on the throne. How does this apply to us, the new creation in Christ? Revelation 5:10 reveals it. It says, “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”

How do kings reign? Kings reign with words. The creation story in Genesis chapter one confirms this. God spoke creation into existence. He accomplished everything through the spoken Word. He simply spoke, and things came into existence.

When Jesus walked the earth, He spoke words. He transformed lives and performed miracles with words. When He spoke to corpses, they came back to life. His words transmitted and imparted life. And we’re just like Him. Our words do the same, because as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).

Reign with words. Rule in the midst of your enemies by exercising your divine authority through words.

CONFESSION

I take my place of dominion, and reign in the Name of Jesus over circumstances through words. The words that I speak are potent, laden with the Spirit’s power to produce fruits. I speak peace, prosperity, wellness and wholeness into the nations of the world, and declare that salvation spreads quickly into places where the light of the Gospel has been dim, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

하나님은 이미 당신에게 초월적인 삶, 즉 완전한 주권과 통치권의 삶을 주셨습니다. 하나님은 이미 당신을 승리자로 만드셨습니다. 하나님은 아브라함에게 “내가 너를 많은 민족의 조상으로 세웠다”(롬 4:17)고 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 그렇게 만들 것이다”라고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다. 하나님은 없는 것을 있는 것 같이 부르십니다. 그 동일한 하나님이 지금도 당신에게 “내가 너를 성공으로 만들었다. 내가 너를 건강하고 강건하게 만들었다. 내가 너를 번영하게 만들었다. 내가 너를 왕과 제사장으로 삼았다.”고 말씀하십니다.

그러므로 하나님의 진리에 당신을 일치시키고, 하나님이 당신을 부르신 대로 스스로를 부르십시오. 하나님과 일치하여 동일한 것을 말하십시오. 바로 이것이 역사하는 방식입니다. 아브라함이 그렇게 행했습니다. 그는 바랄 수 없는 중에 바라고 믿었습니다. 그는 불신앙으로 하나님의 약속을 의심하지 않고, 오히려 믿음에 견고해져서 하나님께 영광을 드렸습니다(롬 4:18-20을 읽어보십시오).

SPEAK BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak”(2 Corinthians 4:13).

It’s so important that you always make faith declarations about your life. Every day, declare that your life is excellent and full of glory; say it because you believe it. Declare that you live free of sickness, disease, infirmities, and you live prosperously in Christ Jesus. If you don’t say it, you can’t have it.

Sickness will come to you if you don’t continually affirm that you live in health. It’s like the farmer who doesn’t plant the right seeds in his field; the wrong ones will grow up. So always proclaim divine health. Refuse arthritis, stroke, chest pains, migraine headaches, diabetes, heart trouble, blood infection etc.; declare that these or any other infirmity has no place in your body. Glory to God!

God already gave you the transcendent life; the life of absolute mastery and dominion. He already made you victorious. He said to Abraham, “I have made you a father of many nations” (Romans 4:17). He didn’t say, “I shall make you…”; He calls things that be not as though they were. The same God is saying to you even now, “I have made you a success. I have made you healthy and strong. I have made you prosperous. I have made you a king-priest.”

Therefore, align yourself with His truth and call yourself what He’s called you; speak the same things in agreement with Him. That’s how it works. That was what Abraham did. The Bible says against hope, he believed in hope. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God (read Romans 4:18-20).

Recall that God had changed his name from Abram, “assumed father,” to Abraham, “father of many.” Abraham believed and called himself what God had called him. He introduced himself to others as the father of many. He believed, therefore he spoke, and his faith declaration catapulted him to possession—it created Isaac. Blessed be God!

CONFESSION

My life is excellent and full of glory; I walk in absolute mastery, victory, safety, wellness, wholeness, and divine health because I’m in Christ, and Christ is my life! His wisdom, righteousness, peace, glory and joy are expressed through me and my faith in the Word is the victory that overcomes the world.

주님을 위해 준비하십시오

Prepare Yourself For Him

“일월 성신에는 징조가 있겠고 땅에서는 민족들이 바다와 파도의 성난 소리로 인하여 혼란한 중에 곤고하리라 사람들이 세상에 임할 일을 생각하고 무서워하므로 기절하리니 이는 하늘의 권능들이 흔들리겠음이라”(눅 21:25-26)

우리가 지금 어디에 있는지, 열방의 심판이 시작되기까지 얼마나 더 남았는지 알려주는 징조들이 너무나 많습니다. 그러므로 오늘 당신이 어디에 있든지 예수님이 곧 오실 것이라는 것을 알기 바랍니다.

재림을 믿고 주님을 기다리는 사람들이 있습니다. 반면에 주님이 다시 오실 것이라고 생각하지 않고 그분을 기다리지 않는 사람들이 있습니다. 그러나 주님은 다시 오십니다. 따라서 주님을 위해 스스로를 준비시키십시오. 주님은 “주의 나타나심을 사모하는”(딤후 4:8) 자들을 위해 오시기 때문입니다.

성경은 주님의 재림을 기다리는 사람들이 복이 있다고 말합니다(눅 12:37). 그러므로 언제든지 재림이 일어날 수 있는 것처럼 사십시오. 고린도전서 15:51-52은 이렇게 말합니다. “… 마지막 나팔에 순식간에 홀연히 다 변화되리니 나팔 소리가 나매 죽은 자들이 썩지 아니할 것으로 다시 살아나고 우리도 변화되리라”

기억하십시오. 예수님이 이 세상에서 승천하신지 2천년이 흘렀습니다. 주님의 재림에 대한 선지자들의 말씀은 모두 우리 눈 앞에서 이루어지고 있습니다. 주님은 “내가 진실로 속히 오리라”(계 22:20)고 말씀하셨습니다.

통계에 따르면 오늘날 세상은 인류가 지금까지 보아온 것 이상으로 고의적인 잔인함, 폭력, 테러, 악함, 비인륜적인 행위로 점철되어 있습니다. 오늘날 삶의 고통은 그 어느 때보다 더 큽니다.

부지불식간에 붙잡혀 올라가지 마십시오. 그리스도와 의 안에 거하고 주님을 위해 사십시오. 복음으로 당신의 삶을 밝히십시오. 빌립보서 2:14-16은 말합니다. “… 이는 너희가 흠이 없고 순전하여 어그러지고 거스르는 세대 가운데서 하나님의 흠 없는 자녀로 세상에서 그들 가운데 빛들로 나타내며 생명의 말씀을 밝혀…” 이 일을 진지하게 받아들이십시오.

복음이 땅 끝까지 전해질 때까지 복음전파에 당신의 시간, 자원, 에너지를 쓰십시오! 자신과 다른 사람들을 곧 있을 주님의 재림을 위해 준비시키십시오.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내 삶에 있는 성령님의 사역과 축복에 감사드립니다. 성령님은 하나님의 영광을 위해 나를 거룩하게 하시고, 내가 의의 길에 있게 하십니다. 복음을 전하고 선포하며, 많은 사람들을 의로 돌이키게 하고, 주님의 재림을 위해 사람들을 준비시키는 특권에 감사드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

PREPARE YOURSELF FOR HIM

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken”(Luke 21:25-26).

There’re so many signs that indicate where we are now and how much longer the world has before the judgements of the nations begin. Therefore, no matter where you are today, I want you to know Jesus is coming soon.

There’re those who believe it and are waiting for Him. There’re others who don’t think He’s coming and so, they’re not expecting Him. But He’s coming, so prepare yourself for Him. He’s coming for those “that love His appearing” (2 Timothy 4:8); those who are prepared for Him.

The Bible says blessed are those who are waiting for His return (Luke 12:37). So live your life as though it could be any minute. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 says, “…In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

Remember, it’s almost Two Thousand years since Jesus levitated and ascended from this world. The words of the prophets about His coming are all being fulfilled before our eyes. He said by Himself, “…Surely I come quickly…” (Revelation 22:20).

Statistics show that today’s world is marked by such deliberate cruelty, violence, terrorism, viciousness and inhumanity beyond what humanity has ever seen. The pressures of life are greater today than ever before.

Don’t be caught unawares. Stay in Christ, in righteousness, and keep living for Him. Light up your world with the Gospel. The Bible says in Philippians 2:14-16 “…That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life….” Take this seriously.

Give your time, resources and energy to the preaching of the Gospel until it reaches the ends of the earth! Prepare yourself and prepare others for the soon coming of the Lord.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the blessing and ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life, who has sanctified me for your glory and keeps me in the path of righteousness. Thank you for the privilege of preaching and proclaiming the Gospel, turning many to righteousness, preparing them for your soon return, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

영적으로 생각하고 깨어 있으십시오

Be Spiritually Minded And Alert

“육신의 생각은 사망이요 영의 생각은 생명과 평안이니라”(롬 8:6)

그리스도인으로서 우리는 영적으로 생각하고 항상 깨어 있어야 합니다. 우리는 하나님의 군대의 군인으로서 영적 싸움을 하고 있기 때문입니다. 에베소서 6:12-13은 말합니다. “우리의 씨름은 혈과 육을 상대하는 것이 아니요 통치자들과 권세들과 이 어둠의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들을 상대함이라…”

그리고 나서 고린도후서 10:4은 이 계속되는 전쟁에서 우리가 사용하는 무기에 대해 말합니다. “우리의 싸우는 무기는 육신에 속한 것이 아니요 오직 어떤 견고한 진도 무너뜨리는 하나님의 능력이라 모든 이론을 무너뜨리며” 전쟁은 항상 진행 중이지만 각 전투가 언제 일어날지 정확히는 알 수 없습니다. 그러나 하나님은 우리가 항상 준비되어 있기를 원하십니다. 그분은 우리에게 “악한 날”(엡 6:13)에 대해 말씀해 주십니다.

“악한 날”은 전투의 날들을 의미합니다. 전투는 전쟁에서의 실제 싸움입니다. 따라서 우리는 반드시 영적인 사고방식을 가지고, 성령님께 민감한 상태를 유지하여 그분의 신호에 맞춰 전투에 준비되어 있어야 합니다. 우리에게는 대적, 곧 사탄이 있고, 그는 잠들지 않습니다.

베드로전서 5:8-9은 말합니다. “근신하라 깨어라 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자 같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니 너희는 믿음을 굳건하게 하여 그를 대적하라…” 또한 에베소서 6:10-11은 말합니다. “… 주 안에서와 그 힘의 능력으로 강건하여지고 마귀의 간계를 능히 대적하기 위하여 하나님의 전신 갑주를 입으라”

당신은 정사와 권세와 이 세상의 어둠의 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들에 대한 통치권과 권세를 가지고 있습니다. 에베소서 6:14-18에 나와있는 영적 무기들을 사용하여 사탄의 계략과 간계를 파하고, 모든 악한 일들을 무너뜨리십시오. 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내 마음과 애정은 주님과 그리스도에 관한 일들, 그리스도의 복음과 영원한 왕국에 고정되어 있습니다. 나는 말씀 안에 살고 내가 속한 영적인 왕국에 대한 충만한 의식 가운데 삽니다. 나는 말씀으로 인도되며, 사탄과 흑암의 권세에 대한 나의 통치권을 유지합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED AND ALERT

“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace”(Romans 8:6).

As Christians, we must be spiritually minded and alert at all times because we’re soldiers in God’s army, engaged in spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:12-13 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places….”

Then 2 Corinthians 10:4 tells us about our weapons in this ongoing warfare: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” Although the war is always on, we’re not told exactly when each battle will occur, but God wants us prepared all the time. He tells us about the “evil day” (Ephesians 6:13).

The “evil day” signifies battle days. A battle is the actual fight of a war. Hence, we must be battle-ready by being spiritually minded, being acutely sensitive to the Spirit and attuned to His signals. We have an adversary that we’re up against—Satan. He doesn’t just go to sleep.

1 Peter 5:8-9 says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist stedfast in the faith….” Ephesians 6:10-11 says, “…be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

You have dominion and authority over principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Use the spiritual weapons listed in Ephesians 6:14-18 to frustrate their stratagems and wiles, and foil all their evil works. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, my mind and affections are set on the Lord and things pertaining to Christ, His Gospel, and eternal Kingdom. I live in the Word and walk in the full consciousness of the spiritual Kingdom to which I belong. I’m guided by the Word, and I maintain my dominion over Satan and the principalities of the darkness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Righteousness Of Jesus Christ

“한 사람의 범죄로 말미암아 사망이 그 한 사람을 통하여 왕 노릇 하였은즉 더욱 은혜와 의의 선물을 넘치게 받는 자들은 한 분 예수 그리스도를 통하여 생명 안에서 왕 노릇 하리로다”(롬 5:17)

저는 바울이 빌립보서 3:8-9에서 예수 그리스도를 믿는 믿음으로 말미암은 의의 주권과 숭고함을 언급한 것을 좋아합니다. “… 그리스도를 얻고 그 안에서 발견되려 함이니 내가 가진 의는 율법에서 난 것이 아니요 오직 그리스도를 믿음으로 말미암은 것이니 곧 믿음으로 하나님께로부터 난 의라”

당신이 자신의 삶에 대한 예수님의 주되심을 고백할 때, 그분의 의가 당신에게 주어졌습니다. 그리스도의 의는 완전한 의입니다. 당신이 완전한 상태에서 더 발전할 수 없듯이, 그분의 의 역시 더 발전할 수 없습니다. 당신이 오늘날 하는 어떤 일도 당신을 하나님 앞에서 더 혹은 덜 의롭게 만들 수 없습니다. 하나님이 당신을 보실 때, 그분이 보시는 것은 그리스도의 의입니다.

예수님은 하나님 앞에 의로우셨고, 우리를 대신할 자격이 있는 유일한 분, 죄 없는 유일한 분이셨으며, 당신에게 의의 자격을 주셨습니다. 하나님께서 당신을 대신한 예수님의 자격을 받아 주셨습니다. 따라서 당신은 더 이상 자신의 의로 살지 않습니다. 당신은 예수 그리스도의 의로 살고 있습니다.

로마서 5:1은 말합니다. “그러므로 우리가 믿음으로 의롭다 하심을 받았으니 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님과 화평을 누리자” 이 구절에 나오는 “의롭다 하심을 받았으니”는 당신이 예수 그리스도를 믿는 믿음으로 당신이 얻었다는 의미입니다. 당신은 죄를 전혀 짓지 않은 것처럼 의롭다고 선포되었습니다. 이제 당신은 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통해 하나님과 화평을 누리게 되었습니다.

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF JESUS CHRIST

“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ)”(Romans 5:17).

I love what Paul said in Philippians 3:8-9, referring to the supremacy and sublimity of the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ. He said, “…that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”

When you confessed the Lordship of Jesus over your life, His righteousness was imparted to you. The righteousness of Christ is perfect righteousness; it can’t be improved upon as you can’t improve on perfect. Nothing you do today will make you more righteous or less righteous before God. When God looks at you, He sees the righteousness of Christ.

Jesus was righteous before God, and He was the only one who qualified to be our substitute, being the only sinless one, and He gave you His qualification of righteousness. God accepted the qualification of Jesus in your behalf. Thus, you’re no longer living by your own righteousness; you’re living by the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:1 says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” To be “justified” means you’re acquitted by your faith in Christ Jesus; you’re declared righteous as though you never sinned. Now you have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sadly, there’re Christians who are still struggling to be righteous. But we couldn’t get or attain righteousness by ourselves that’s why He gave us His own righteousness. You’re as righteous as Jesus is righteous, because He substituted His righteousness for your sin-nature when you confessed His Lordship over your life. What an amazing reality! Praise God.

CONFESSION

I’ve received abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness to reign in life by one, Jesus Christ! The ability to be right, to do right, and to produce fruits and works of righteousness is inherent in my spirit. I’m living by the righteousness of Jesus Christ. I can stand before God now and always, confidently serving Him in righteousness and true holiness. Hallelujah!

There’s Lifting For You

요즘에는 다음과 같은 말을 듣는 것이 드문 일이 아닙니다. “무슨 일이 일어나고 있는지 모르겠습니다. 모든 곳에서 상황이 나빠지고 있습니다. 사람들은 일반적으로 낙담합니다.” 그런 말을 하는 데 편승하지 마십시오. 당신은 하나님의 자녀입니다. 당신의 삶은 다릅니다. 당신은 다른 규칙에 따라 행동합니다. 항상 기억하십시오.

성경은 말합니다. “사람들이 내던져지면 너는 ‘일으킴이 있으리라’고 말할지니라…” 고통과 슬픔과 실망했을 때 당신이 어떻게 반응해야 할 지 하나님께서 말해주고 계시는 것을 알아채셨습니까? 그분은 당신에게 무엇을 말해야 할지 알려주십니다. “들어올려지고 있습니다!” 당신 안에는 들어올리는 능력이 있습니다. 인생의 위기를 딛고 일어설 수 있는 힘입니다. 그러므로 불평하는 사람들에게 가담하는 대신에 “나는 일으켜 세워지고 있습니다!”라고 선포해야 합니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다.

“일으켜 세워지고 있습니다”라고 말할 때 실제로는 무엇을 의미합니까? 낮은 곳에서 높은 지위로 오르다, 승격시키다, 계급이나 조건을 높이다라는 뜻입니다. 또한 침략군을 철수시키거나 퇴각시켜 봉쇄나 포위를 끝내는 것을 뜻합니다. 그것은 철회하거나 무효화하는 것, 금수조치를 해제하는 것, 빚을 갚는 것 등을 의미합니다. 하나님의 기적의 능력으로 당신을 들어올려 줍니다.

당신을 짓누르는 무언가가 있습니까? 아니면 직장에서 당신이 바라고 있는 연봉인상이나 승진이 있습니까? 성경은 말합니다. “무릇 높이는 일이 동쪽에서나 서쪽에서 말미암지 아니하며 남쪽에서도 말미암지 아니하고”(시 75:6) 높임은 하나님으로부터 옵니다. “높임”이 있을 것이라는 사실을 알고 계십시오. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

당신이 어떤 실수를 했기 때문에 오늘날의 위치에 놓였고, 그래서 그때 다른 선택을 했기를 바라고 있을 수도 있습니다. 주님은 당신의 구원이십니다. 주님께 당신의 시선을 고정하십시오. 앞에 놓인 문제를 보지 마십시오. 당신의 시선을 높여서 주님을 바라보십시오. 주님은 당신을 그 문제에서 건져내실 것입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “가난한 자를 진토에서 일으키시며 빈궁한 자를 거름더미에서 올리사 귀족들과 함께 앉게 하시며 영광의 자리를 차지하게 하시는도다 땅의 기둥들은 여호와의 것이라 여호와께서 세계를 그것들 위에 세우셨도다”(삼상 2:8) 하나님을 송축합니다!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 높여주시는 능력에 감사드립니다. 내 주변의 어려움으로 인해 낙심하기를 거절합니다. 나는 삶의 모든 분야에서 전진하고, 번영하고, 위대해지고 있음을 선포합니다. 위대하신 분이 내 삶에 거하시고, 그분은 나를 인플레이션, 불안, 아픔, 질병, 마귀보다 더 크고, 위대하고, 우월하게 만드셨습니다. 나는 그리스도 예수 안에서 승리자입니다. 할렐루야!

THERE’S LIFTING FOR YOU

“When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person”(Job 22:29).

These days, it’s not uncommon to hear things like: “I don’t know what’s going on; things are going bad everywhere. People are generally discouraged.” Don’t join the bandwagon to talk like that. You’re a child of God; your life is different. You play by a different set of rules. Always remember that.

The Bible says “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up….” Did you notice God tells you how you should respond when there’s distress and gloom and men are cast down? He tells you what to say: “There’s lifting up!” There’s lifting power in you; power to rise over and above the crises of life. So, instead of joining the complainers, you ought to declare: “There’s lifting up for me!” Glory to God.

When you say “There’s lifting up”, what does it actually mean? It means to raise from a lower to a higher position, to elevate, to raise in rank or condition. It also means to put an end to a blockage or siege by withdrawing or causing the withdrawal of invading forces. It means to revoke, rescind, lift an embargo, to pay off an obligation.

There’s a lifting for you by the miracle power of God.

Is there something that’s been weighing you down? Or is it a raise or promotion you’re expecting at work? The Bible says “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south” (Psalms 75:6). That means it comes from God. Just know that there’s going to be a “lift.” Glory to God!

Maybe you made a mistake that landed you in the position you’re in today, and you’re wishing you did things differently. Well, the Lord is your riddance. Set your gaze on Him; don’t look at the problems that may be before you. Set your gaze on high, on the Master. He’ll lift you out of that trouble. The Bible says, “He raises the poor from the dust, and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, To set them among princes, and make them inherit the throne of glory” (1 Samuel 2:8 NKJV). Blessed be God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the assurance of your lifting power in my life. I refuse to be discouraged by the challenges around me. Instead, I declare that I’m making progress, prospering and waxing great in every area of my life! The greater One lives in me, and He’s made me bigger, greater, and superior to inflation, insecurity, sickness, disease, and the devil. I’m a victor in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

The Voice Of Wisdom

“주께서 하신 말씀이 반드시 이루어지리라고 믿은 그 여자에게 복이 있도다”(눅 1:45)

잠언 4:8은 지혜에 대해 말합니다. “그를 높이라 그리하면 그가 너를 높이 들리라 만일 그를 품으면 그가 너를 영화롭게 하리라” 하나님의 말씀은 하나님의 지혜입니다. 하나님의 말씀이 성경을 통해 당신에게 전해질 때, 그 순간 지혜가 당신에게 말하고 있는 것입니다.

성경에 기록된 바와 같이 지혜가 길거리에서 부르지만 많은 사람들은 그분의 목소리를 듣지 않습니다(잠 1:20-22). 그래서 오늘날 많은 사람들이 가난한 것입니다. 지혜는 “부귀가 내게 있고 장구한 재물과 공의도 그러하니라 내 열매는 금이나 정금보다 나으며 내 소득은 순은보다 나으니라 나는 정의로운 길로 행하며 공의로운 길 가운데로 다니나니 이는 나를 사랑하는 자가 재물을 얻어서 그 곳간에 채우게 하려 함이니라”(잠 8:18-21)고 말하기 때문입니다.

당신은 말씀, 곧 하나님의 지혜에 더욱 주의를 기울여야 합니다. 하나님의 말씀이 모든 지혜 가운데 당신 안에 풍성히 거하게 하십시오(골 3:16). 부와 존귀, 지속적인 풍성함과 의는 하나님의 말씀(하나님의 지혜) 안에 있습니다. 따라서 항상 말씀을 따라 행하십시오.

당신이 지혜를 의식하게 되면 하나님은 당신의 자원을 늘리기 위해 밟아야 할 다음 단계에 대한 비전을 보여주실 것입니다. 지혜는 당신을 창의적이고 혁신적이게 만들 것입니다. 바로 그것이 성경이 말한 바입니다. “나 지혜는 명철로 주소를 삼으며 지식과 근신을 찾아 얻나니”(잠 8:12) 하나님을 송축합니다!

또한, 지혜를 말하는 법을 배우십시오. 성경은 말합니다. “그러나 우리가 온전한 자들 중에서는 지혜를 말하노니 이는 이 세상의 지혜가 아니요 또 이 세상에서 없어질 통치자들의 지혜도 아니요”(고전 2:6) 지혜를 말하는 것은 말씀을 말하는 것으로 하나님과 일치되게 말하는 것입니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 언제나 신뢰할 수 있고 확실한 하나님의 말씀에 감사드립니다. 지금도 하나님의 말씀이 내 안에 흥왕하여 그 말씀의 열매를 맺습니다. 오늘 그리고 날마다 하나님의 지혜로 승리하며 항상 하나님의 영광 가운데 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE VOICE OF WISDOM

“Blessed is she that believed, for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord” (Luke 1:45).

Talking about wisdom in Proverbs 4:8, the Bible tells us, “Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.” God’s Word is God’s wisdom. When the Word of God is shared with you from the Scriptures, it’s Wisdom that’s speaking to you and addressing you at that moment.

Wisdom, as the Scriptures tell us, cries out in the streets, yet many ignore His voice (Proverbs 1:20-21). That’s why there’re many in the world today who are poor; for Wisdom says, “Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance, and I will fill their treasures.” (Proverbs 8:18-21).

This should make you give more attention to the Word—the wisdom of God. Let the Word of God dwell in you richly in all wisdom (Colossians 3:16). Riches and honour—durable riches and righteousness—are in the Word of God (the Wisdom of God). So always act on the Word.

Become wisdom-conscious and He’ll show you visions of the steps you should take to multiply your resources. Wisdom will make you creative and innovative. That’s what the Bible says: “…I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions… (Proverbs 8:12). Blessed be God!

Also, learn to speak wisdom. The Bible says, “Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect…” (1 Corinthians 2:6). Speaking wisdom is speaking the Word, speaking in agreement with God.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your Word which is ever dependable and ever sure. Even now, your Word prevails in me, producing fruits of the message therein. I win today, and every day, by your wisdom, and I live in your glory always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

미지근하기를 거절합니다

Refuse To Be Lukewarm

“네가 이같이 미지근하여 뜨겁지도 아니하고 차지도 아니하니 내 입에서 너를 토하여 버리리라”(계 3:16)

많은 사람들이 죄인에게 설교할 때 오늘의 본문 구절을 인용합니다. 그러나 이 구절은 전혀 죄인에 대해 말하고 있지 않습니다. 주 예수님은 미지근하거나 열의가 없는 그리스도인들에게 말씀하셨습니다. 그들은 라오디게아 교회에 있던 사람들로, 요한계시록 3:14-21에 나오는 사람들입니다.

미지근한 그리스도인은 무익한 종입니다. 예수님은 마태복음 25장에서 주인이 맡긴 한 달란트를 가지고 아무 일도 하지 않아 무익한 종이 된 사람에 대한 비유를 말씀하셨습니다.

예수님은 이 비유를 시작하시면서 “하늘의 왕국은 마치 먼 나라로 여행하면서 자기 종들을 불러 그들에게 자기 재산을 맡기는 어떤 사람과 같으니라.”(마 25:14, 한글 흠정역)고 말씀하십니다. 29절까지 이어지는 비유를 다 읽어보십시오. 그러면 당신은 무익한 종이 천국의 일원임을 알 수 있습니다. 주님이 그를 무익한 종이라고 부르신 이유는 그가 받은 달란트로 어떤 결과도 내지 않았기 때문입니다.

30절은 무익한 종의 운명을 보여줍니다. 주님은 “이 무익한 종을 바깥 어두운 데로 쫓으라 거기서 슬퍼 울며 이를 갈리라”(마 25:30)고 말씀하셨습니다. 미지근한 그리스도인의 유일한 소망은 회개하는 것입니다. “무릇 내가 사랑하는 자를 책망하여 징계하노니 그러므로 네가 열심을 내라 회개하라”(계 3:19)

당신이 지금껏 미지근했다면 속히 회개해야 합니다. 성령님은 이미 당신의 삶에 오셔서 당신을 하나님을 위해 활동적이도록 만드셨기 때문입니다. 성령님은 당신에게 사역하며 영향을 미치기 위해 오셨습니다. 그분은 당신이 열매 맺고, 유익하고, 효율적이고, 효과적이도록 만들기 위해 오셨습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

기도

REFUSE TO BE LUKEWARM

“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:16).

A lot of people use our opening verse to preach to sinners, but it’s not talking about sinners at all. The Lord Jesus was talking to Christians who had become tepid or unenthusiastic; unprofitable and ineffective. These were in the church at Laodicea, for they were the ones the Lord was addressing in Revelation 3:14-21).

A Christian who is lukewarm is an unprofitable servant. In Matthew 25, Jesus told a parable about a servant who did nothing with the talent of money his master entrusted to him and was described as unprofitable.

Jesus began the parable by saying, “For the kingdom of heaven is as a man…” (Matthew 25:14). Read the entire parable up to the 29th verse and you’d observe that the unprofitable servant He was referring to was a member of the kingdom of Heaven. He’s termed the unprofitable servant because he didn’t produce results with the talent given to him.

The 30th verse shows us the fate of the unprofitable servant. The Master said, “…cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” The only hope a lukewarm Christian has is to repent: “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent” (Revelation 3:19).

If you’ve been lukewarm, you need to repent urgently because the Holy Spirit came into your life to make you active for God; He came to impact you for service. He came to make you fruitful, profitable, efficient and effective. Glory to God!

Prayer

I yield myself fully to the leading of the Holy Spirit, to be a burning and a shining light; effective, efficient and profitable in the Kingdom. I’m forever aglow, radiant, fervent and active in serving the Lord, winning souls and spreading the Gospel. Thank you, Lord, for your Spirit that propels and guides me to be ever fruitful and productive, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

예수님은 모든 것 위에 계십니다

He’s Above All

“예수께서 나아와 말씀하여 이르시되 하늘과 땅의 모든 권세를 내게 주셨으니”(마 28:18)

오늘의 본문 구절에서 “권세”로 등장하는 단어는 그리스어 “엑수시아(exousia)”로 권한을 뜻합니다. 주님은 이 중요한 구절을 통해 하늘과 땅 모두에서의 그분의 통치권을 확증하셨습니다.

예수님이 이 땅의 모든 권세를 행사하신다는 것은 자동적으로 이 땅에 있는 열방이 그분의 권세 아래 있다는 의미입니다. 성경에서 예수님이 하늘의 영역에 앉아 계시다고 말하는 것은 당연합니다. “… 모든 통치와 권세와 능력과 주권과 이 세상뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 일컫는 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나게 하시고”(엡 1:18-21)

모든 것에 대한 예수님의 권세는 우리의 유익을 위한 것입니다. “또 그때에 그분을 모든 정사와 권능과 강력과 통치와 이 세상뿐만 아니라 오는 세상에서 불리는 모든 이름보다 훨씬 위에 두시고 또 모든 것을 그분의 발아래 두시며 그분을 모든 것 위에 머리가 되게 하사 교회를 위해 주셨느니라.”(엡 1:21-22, 한글 흠정역) 정말 숭고한 진리입니다.

예수님은 마태복음 28:18에서 하늘과 땅의 모든 권세가 그분께 주어졌다고 선포하신 직후에 우리에게 “그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아”(마 28:19) 라고 명하셨습니다. 예수님은 그분이 가진 권세로 우리를 열방, 모든 사람들의 세상에 그분의 메시지를 전하라고 보내셨습니다.

여러 정부, 왕국, 폭군, 독재자들이 수 세기에 걸쳐 교회를 전멸시키려고 노력했지만 실패한 이유가 무엇인지 아시겠습니까?

그 무엇도, 그 누구도, 어떤 세력이나 존재도 교회를 파괴할 수 없는 이유를 아십니까? 하늘과 땅에 있는 모든 것을 다스리는 권세는 오직 한 분에게만 있기 때문입니다. 그분의 이름은 예수님입니다. 예수님은 모든 것을 다스리십니다. “모든 통치와 권세와 능력과 주권과 이 세상뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 일컫는 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나게 하시고”(엡 1:21) 할렐루야!

고백

주 예수님은 만물을 통치하고 다스리십니다. 모든 세력, 정사, 권세와 통치자를 다스리십니다. 그분은 이 세상과 오는 세상의 모든 존재를 다스리십니다. 나는 그분과 하나이며, 그분의 자손이고, 그분의 날을 연장합니다. 할렐루야!

HE’S ABOVE ALL

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”(Matthew 28:18).

The word translated “power” above is the Greek “Exousia” which means authority. In this pivotal statement, the Lord affirmed His dominion not only in heaven but also in the earth.

Since Jesus wields all authority in the earth, that automatically means the nations of the world, which are in the earth, are all under His authority. No wonder the Bible says Jesus is seated in the heavenly realms, “…high above all other government and authority and power and dominion, and every title of sovereignty used either in this Age or in the Age to come” (Ephesians 1:18-21).

Guess what? His authority over all things is for our benefit: “…Christ rules over all forces, authorities, powers, and rulers. He rules over all beings in this world and will rule in the future world as well. God has put all things under the power of Christ, and for the good of the church he has made him the head of everything” (Ephesians 1:21-22 CEV). This is so sublime.

Right after He declared in Matthew 28:18 that all authority was given to Him in heaven and in the earth, He charged us in the very next verse to “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations.” He sent us on the basis of His authority to take His message to the nations—to every man’s world.

Can you see why government after government, kingdom after kingdom, tyrants, despots and dictators have tried throughout the age to annihilate the Church but failed?

Can you see why nothing, no one, no force or entity would ever be able to destroy the Church? It’s because there’s only One who has authority over all things in heaven and in the earth; His Name is Jesus. He rules over all. He’s “…in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything…” (Ephesians 1:21 MSG). Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

The Lord Jesus reigns and rules over all things; over all forces, authorities, powers, and rulers. He rules over all beings in this world and in the world to come, and I’m one with Him. I’m His seed, prolonging His days. Hallelujah!

The Unsearchable Riches Of Christ

하나님이 무언가를 말씀하실 때 그분의 말씀은 결코 과장될 수 없습니다. 그분은 절대적인 진리를 말씀하십니다. 만일 하나님이 그리스도 예수 안에 측량할 수 없는 풍성함, 말로 다 할 수 없는 부가 있다고 말씀하시면, 바로 그것이 실재입니다. 확대번역본은 오늘의 본문 구절을 이렇게 번역합니다. “모든 성도들(하나님의 구별된 백성들) 중에 지극히 작은 나에게 이 은혜(호의, 특권)가 은혜롭게 부여되고 맡겨져 이방인들에게 그 어떤 사람도 발견한 적 없었던 끝이 없는 (무한하고, 깊이를 알 수 없고, 측량할 수 없고, 다함이 없는 그리스도의 풍성함) 부를 전하게 하셨습니다. 그리고 이 모든 것은 그리스도 안에서 당신에게 속했습니다.” 정말 대단합니다!

당신이 가난해질 만큼 빼앗을 수는 없습니다. 그래서 예수님은 이웃이 당신에게 돈을 빌려놓고 갚지 않을지라도 화내거나 쫓아가지 말라고 말씀하신 것입니다. 왜 그렇습니까? 당신은 그리스도 안에서 무한한, 측량할 수 없는 풍성함을 가졌기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 측량할 수 없는 풍성함에 영원히 감사드립니다. 나는 이 실재 안에 살기로 선택하며 넘치는 풍성함 가운데 걷습니다. 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 내게 주신 하나님의 신성한 권세에 감사드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE UNSEARCHABLE RICHES OF CHRIST

“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ”(Ephesians 3:8).

When God speaks, His words are never exaggerated. He speaks absolute truth. So, if He says that in Christ Jesus we have unsearchable riches, wealth untold, then that’s the reality. See how the Amplified Classic renders it: “To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God’s consecrated people), this grace (favour, privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles, the unending, (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless riches of Christ) wealth, which no human being could have searched out. And this all belong to you in Christ.” Amazing!

This is the reality of your life. In Christ, you were born into unending, boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless riches—wealth, which no human being could have searched out. You better believe this. It’s the reason Paul could boldly affirm in 2 Corinthians 3:21 that all things are yours. Your wealth is inestimable.

Then it says we’re supposed to preach this to all people. “You’ve got wealth untold; rise up, the world is yours.” Hallelujah!

It doesn’t matter what country you’re from; this is your heritage in Christ. Have the mentality of someone who’s been born into superabundance; unlimited wealth and prosperity. It makes no difference that some may try to cheat you or steal from you; nothing can deplete or diminish your wealth. How much water could anyone steal from an ocean?

Not enough could be taken away from you to get you broke. That’s why Jesus said, if your neighbour lends from you and doesn’t repay, don’t get angry and go after them; why? You have exhaustless, incalculable riches in Christ. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I’m forever grateful for the unsearchable riches I have in Christ Jesus. I choose to live in this reality, walking in superabundance. Thank you for your divine power that’s given me all things that pertain to life and godliness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
