예수님의 이야기를 전파하도록 보냄 받았습니다

Sent To Tell His Story

“예수께서 이르시되 빌립아 내가 이렇게 오래 너희와 함께 있으되 네가 나를 알지 못하느냐 나를 본 자는 아버지를 보았거늘 어찌하여 아버지를 보이라 하느냐”(요 14:9)

전 세계에 있는 사람들이 예수 이름 안에서 기도합니다. 사람들은 거리에서, 매주 교회에서도 예수님에 대해 가르칩니다. 어떤 사람들은 예수님에 관한 책을 쓰고, 그분에 대해 노래하고, 그분의 이름으로 예언합니다. 그러나 안타까운 사실은 많은 사람들이 그분이 진정 어떤 분이신지 모른다는 것입니다.

사람들이 예수님에 대해 들어 본 것은 사실이지만, 그분은 많은 사람들이 단순히 알고 있는 것처럼 그저 “위대한 종교 지도자”가 아닙니다. 그분은 하나님이십니다. 슬프게도 몇몇 설교자들도 예수님을 우리를 죄에서 구원하신 구세주로만 알고 있기도 합니다. 그러나 예수님은 구세주 그 이상이십니다. 그분 자신이 곧 하나님이십니다. 전능하시고 불멸하신 하나님이시며, 접근할 수 없는 신성한 영광의 빛 가운데 계신 분이시며, 삼위일체의 하나님으로서 아버지와 동등하십니다.

예수님은 만왕의 왕이시며, 만유의 주이십니다. 하늘과 땅과 땅 아래 모든 권세를 가지셨습니다. 우리는 그분의 증인이며, 따라서 우리는 그분이 실재하시며 모든 인류를 위해 이 땅에 오셔서 인간으로서 죽으셨다는 사실과 죽은 자로부터 살아나셔서 영원히 사신다는 사실을 온 세상에 알려야 합니다. 우리는 바쁘게 움직여서 이 땅에 예수님을 전해야 합니다.

우리가 이 땅에서 하고 있는 일은 그 자체로 끝이 아닙니다. 언젠가 우리는 예수님을 모르는 마지막 사람에게 도달할 것입니다. 그때 우리는 마지막 집회나 마지막 예배를 드리고 있을 수도 있습니다. 우리는 주님께서 우리에게 하라고 하신 모든 일을 완수하였을 것이고, 그리고 나서 나팔 소리를 들을 것입니다. 주님이 나타나실 것이고 우리는 영광의 면류관을 받을 것입니다. “그리하면 목자장이 나타나실 때에 시들지 아니하는 영광의 관을 얻으리라.”(벧전 5:4) 예수님의 이름에 영원히 영광을 드립니다!

복되신 주 예수님, 당신은 얼마나 위대하신지요! 당신은 불멸의 하나님이시요, 만유의 주이시며, 하늘과 땅과 땅 아래 모든 권세를 가지고 계십니다. 당신은 주님이시며 주권자이십니다. 최고의 권세와 탁월함을 가지신 분이십니다. 당신이 나의 주님이심을 내 마음을 다해 믿고 내 입으로 선포합니다. 당신은 모든 것 위에 계신 하나님이시며 만물을 창조하신 분이십니다! 주님 사랑합니다!

SENT TO TELL HIS STORY

“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?”(John 14:9).

All over the world, people pray in the Name of Jesus. They preach Him on the streets and every week in churches. Some have written books about Him, sing about Him, and prophesy in His Name. But a very painful reality is that many don’t know who He really is.

True, they’ve heard about Him, but He’s not merely “a great religious leader” that many know Him as; He’s God. Sadly, even among preachers, some only know Him as Saviour, who saved us from our sins. But Jesus is much more than that. He’s Himself God: the Omnipotent, immortal God, living in unapproachable light of divine glory, coequal with the Father and embodiment of the Godhead.

Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of all, who has all authority in heaven, in earth, and under the earth. We’re His witnesses, and we have to let the world know that He’s real and that He came to die as a man for all men; He was raised from the dead and lives forever. Let’s get busy, telling the whole world about Him.

The work we’re doing here on earth isn’t an end in itself. One day, we would have told the last person; we would have held the last conference or the last church service; we would have completed everything He asked us to do, and then we’ll hear that trumpet sound. The Lord will appear and we will receive crowns of glory: “And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away” (1 Peter 5:4). Glory to His Name forever!

PRAYER

Blessed Lord Jesus, how great you are! You’re the immortal God, the King of kings and Lord of all, with all authority in heaven, in earth, and under the earth. You’re the Master and Ruler; the One with supreme authority and pre-eminence. I believe with all my heart and declare with my mouth that you’re my Lord; you’re God over all, and the One who made all things! I love you Lord!

인내를 온전히 이루십시오

Let Patience Have Its Full Effect

“… 여러분 앞에 어려움밖에 없는 것 같을 때, 그것을 가장 큰 기쁨을 경험할 수 있는 소중한 기회로 여기십시오! 여러분이 아는 것과 같이 여러분의 믿음이 시험을 받을 때에 여러분 안에 인내력이 생깁니다. 그리고 그 인내가 더욱 견고해질 때, 이는 비로소 여러분을 온전하게 구비하여 모자란 것도 부족한 것도 없게 하려 함입니다.”(약 1:2-4, 패션성경)

시련과 유혹은 힘든 만큼 당신에게 유익이 됩니다. 당신은 결국 그 안에서 기쁨을 찾게 될 것입니다. 당신의 믿음은 압박 가운데서 꽃을 피우며, 견디는 가운데 진정한 인내가 무엇인지 가르쳐 줍니다.

때때로 우리는 하나님께서 즉시 변화를 일으켜 주시기를 원합니다. 우리는 어떤 상황이나 일이 일어나지 않기를 바라며 기도하고, 또 즉각적인 응답을 원합니다. 하지만 어떤 순간에는 당신이 믿음을 표현하는데 있어 인내가 필요한 때가 옵니다. 그런 순간에도 하나님께서는 우리가 당황하는 것을 원치 않으십니다.

종종 일이 우리가 원하는 만큼 빨리 일어나지 않을 때는 하나님께서 우리 안에 인내를 발전시키기 원하시기 때문입니다. 인내는 놀라운 축복입니다. 그러므로 당신의 믿음을 표현하며 인내를 나타내는 법을 배우십시오. 보이스 번역본은 야고보서 1:4을 이렇게 번역합니다. “…견딤으로부터 만들어진 진정한 인내는 여러분이 긴 여정을 완수하고 성숙함이라는 결승선을 통과할 수 있도록 준비시켜 줄 것입니다.”

그렇습니다. 도전의 시기와 불편한 환경들이 있을 것입니다. 그러나 말씀은 이 모든 것을 기쁨으로 여기라고 격려합니다. 그러한 믿음의 도전들이 우리 안에서 인내를 만들기 때문입니다. 그러면서 4절은 우리가 인내를 온전히 이룰 때 어떤 결과를 만들어내는지 알려줍니다. 따라서 계속 회피하거나 동요하지 마십시오. 그러면 하나님의 계획을 놓칠 수도 있습니다.

이번에는 확대번역본으로 오늘의 본문 구절을 읽어봅시다. “…오직 견딤과 신실함과 인내를 완전히 꼼꼼하게 이루라. 이것은 너희가 완전하고 완벽하게 개발되어 아무것도 부족함이 없게 [흠 없는 자가 되게] 하려 함이라.” 이것이 우리 안에서 인내가 만들어내는 것입니다. 우리는 완전하고 완벽하게 발전하여 아무것도 부족함이 없는 흠 없는 자가 됩니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 나의 믿음이 상황을 이기게 하시니 감사합니다. 나는 아픔, 질병, 두려움, 공포를 초월하여 승리하는 태도로 살아갑니다. 나는 내 삶과 상황을 다스리고 주도하는 위치에 있습니다. 나는 강하며, 담대하고, 용감하며, 평안의 유리한 위치에서 기능합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

LET PATIENCE HAVE ITS FULL EFFECT

“…when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking”(James 1:2-4 TPT).

Trials and temptations, as difficult as they are, are for your good. You’ll ultimately find joy in them. Your faith blossoms under pressure and teaches you true patience as you endure.

Sometimes we want God to effect a change right away. We’re praying about a situation or something we want to prevent from happening, and we want instant answers. But there’re times when patience is needed while expressing your faith. God never wants us to panic at such times.

Sometimes, when things don’t happen as quickly as we want them to, it’s because He wants to develop patience in us. Patience is a wonderful blessing. So learn to demonstrate patience even while expressing your faith. James 1:4 in the Voice Translation says, “…true patience brought on by endurance will equip you to complete the long journey and cross the finish line—mature.”

Yes, there’ll be challenging times and uncomfortable circumstances, but the Word encourages us to count them all joy, knowing that the trying of our faith produces patience in us. Then the 4th verse tells us what patience, in turn, produces in us when we allow it to do its work, and have its full effect. So don’t keep pushing and agitating; you could miss out on God’s plan.

Let’s read our theme scripture again, this time, in the Amplified Classic. It says, “But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.” This is what patience produces in us: we become perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.” Glory to God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for my faith prevails over circumstances, and I live victoriously and triumphantly above sickness, disease, fear and terror. I’m in charge and in control of my life and circumstances. I’m strong, bold and courageous, functioning from a vantage position of rest, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Predestination And Personal Choice

“우리는 하나님께서 [직접] 손수 만드신 작품(그분의 솜씨)이며, [하나님께서 미리 준비해 놓으신 길을 따라] 그분께서 우리를 위해 예정하신(사전에 계획하신) 선한 일을 하고, 그 안에서 [그분께서 미리 계획하시고 준비하신 좋은 삶을 살며] 행하도록 그리스도 예수 안에서 재창조된 [거듭난] 자입니다.”(엡 2:10, 확대번역본)

때때로 사람들은 예정하심 같은 것이 정말 있느냐고 묻습니다. 그들은 질문합니다. “정말 하나님이 내 인생을 예정하셨다고 말할 수 있습니까?” 당연합니다! 성경은 하나님께서 예정하셨다고 말합니다. 방금 우리가 읽은 오늘의 본문 구절에 나와있습니다!

또한 로마서 8:29-30은 말합니다. “하나님이 미리 아신 자들을 또한 그 아들의 형상을 본받게 하기 위하여 미리 정하셨으니 이는 그로 많은 형제 중에서 맏아들이 되게 하려 하심이니라 또 미리 정하신 그들을 또한 부르시고 부르신 그들을 또한 의롭다 하시고 의롭다 하신 그들을 또한 영화롭게 하셨느니라.”

그렇다면 다음과 같은 질문이 떠오릅니다. ‘내 삶에서 일어나는 모든 일에 하나님의 책임이 있다는 것입니까?’ 이 질문에 대한 답은 ‘그렇지 않다’ 입니다. 당신이 자유의지를 가지고 있기 때문입니다. 당신은 자신의 결정과 행동에 대한 책임을 가지고 있습니다. 성인이 되면 삶에 대한 책임은 당신에게 있으며, 당신을 향한 하나님의 운명과 완전한 뜻에 따라 올바른 결정을 내릴 책임도 당신에게 있는 것입니다.

하나님이 당신의 삶을 예정하셨다고 해서 자동적으로 그렇게 되거나 성취된다는 뜻은 아닙니다. 사람들은 꼭 하나님의 계획에 맞게 살아가지는 않습니다. 이는 당신의 개인적인 선택입니다. 당신은 자신의 삶에 대한 하나님의 계획을 성취하고 하나님께서 예정하신 대로 되기 위해 선택해야 합니다.

바울은 골로새 교회에 보낸 편지에서 아킵보에게 구체적인 지시를 보냈습니다. “아킵보에게 이르기를 주 안에서 받은 직분을 삼가 이루라고 하라.”(골 4:17) 만일 아킵보에게 하나님께서 맡기신 직분을 감당할 책임이 없었다면 바울이 그 직분을 행하라고 지시하지 않았을 것입니다. 이 말은 곧 아킵보가 직분을 이루지 않을 수도 있었다는 뜻입니다.

하나님께서 당신을 위해 예비하신 모든 존재가 될 것이라고 결단하십시오. 그분이 당신에게 이루도록 예정하신 모든 것을 행할 것이며, 그분이 예정하신 길을 걸을 것을 결심하십시오.

고백

나는 예정된 길을 걷고 있고, 하나님이 부르신 기회의 자리로 올바르게 가고 있으며, 성공과 영광과 승리와 신성한 운명의 길을 걷고 있습니다! 내 인생의 경로 안에서 벌어지는 모든 일은 하나님께 영광을 돌리기 위해 하나님에 의해 설계되었습니다. 하나님께서 그분의 기쁘신 뜻을 위하여 내 안에 소원을 두고 행하게 하시기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

PREDESTINATION AND PERSONAL CHOICE

“For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]”(Ephesians 2:10 AMPC).

Sometimes people ask if there’s such a thing as predestination. “Can I really say that God prearranged my life?” they wonder. Absolutely! The Bible says He did; we just read it!

Also, Romans 9:29-30 says, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”

The question then arises: Is God, therefore, responsible for everything that happens in my life? Not really; because you’re a free moral agent; you’re responsible for your decisions and actions. Once you become an adult, you have a responsibility for your life, and the onus is on you to make the right decisions in line with God’s destiny and perfect will for you.

Just because God predestined your life for something doesn’t mean you’re going to be or fulfil it. People don’t necessarily become what God planned for them to be. It’s a personal choice you make to fulfil God’s plan for your life and be all that He’s destined you to be.

Paul, in his letter to the Colossian church, sent a specific instruction to Archippus, telling him: “Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfill it” (Colossians 4:17). If the man didn’t have the responsibility of fulfilling the ministry that God committed to him, Paul wouldn’t have instructed him to see to it that he fulfilled it. This also meant it was possible for him not to fulfil it.

Make up your mind you’ll be everything God has destined you to be, you’ll do all that He’s predestined you to do, and you’ll walk in His preordained pathways.

CONFESSION

I’m walking in preordained pathways, rightly positioned in God’s place of opportunity and set on the path of success, glory, victory and divine destiny! The course of events in my life has been structured by God to bring Him glory, for He’s the One at work in me both to will and to do His good pleasure. Hallelujah!

당신 안에 계신 그리스도 – 기독교의 기적

Christ In You – The Wonder Of Christianity

“하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 얼마나 풍성한지를 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”(골 1:27)

그리스도가 당신 안에 살고 계신다는 중요한 지식을 알고 그 의식으로 살아가는 것은 기독교의 가장 큰 축복입니다. 사실 이것이 모든 문제에 대한 해결책이며 모든 질문에 대한 답입니다. 당신 안에 계신 그리스도가 곧 기독교의 기적입니다.

예수님이 이 땅에 계실 때, 그분은 임마누엘, 함께 하시는 하나님으로 제자들과 함께 하셨습니다. 하지만 아버지의 꿈은 아직 이루어지지 않았습니다. 하나님은 모든 신성이 우리와 함께 하는 것이 아니라 우리 안에 거하길 원하셨습니다. 하나님은 그분의 영이 우리 안에 있길 원하셨습니다.

그래서 예수님은 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와 함께 있게 하리니 그는 진리의 영이라 세상은 능히 그를 받지 못하나니 이는 그를 보지도 못하고 알지도 못함이라 그러나 너희는 그를 아나니 그는 너희와 함께 거하심이요 또 너희 속에 계시겠음이라.”(요 14:16-17) 아버지의 갈망은 오순절 날 성령님께서 우리 안에 거하기 위해 오셨을 때 비로소 이루어졌습니다.

로마서 8:11의 놀라운 진리를 생각해 보십시오. “예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이의 영이 너희 안에 거하시면 그리스도 예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이가 너희 안에 거하시는 그의 영으로 말미암아 너희 죽을 몸도 살리시리라.”

이 구절은 당신 안에 계신 그리스도, 즉 성령님이 당신의 육신의 생명이심을 의미합니다. 그리스도는 당신의 건강, 구원, 온전함, 보호가 되셨습니다. 당신 안에 계신 그리스도는 모든 고통에서 벗어날 수 있는 당신의 권리입니다. 당신 안에 계신 그리스도는 모든 위기를 다스리는 당신의 능력입니다. 그리스도는 당신에게 어둠, 가난, 결핍, 필요를 다스릴 수 있는 통치권을 부여합니다. 할렐루야! 당신 안에 계신 그리스도는 가장 큰 축복입니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

고백

그리스도께서 내 안에 계시기 때문에 내 삶에는 영광, 온전함, 완전함, 성공, 번영이 보장됩니다! 그리스도는 내 모든 존재, 내 몸의 모든 뼈, 내 피의 모든 세포 안에 살아 계십니다! 나는 그리스도 안에서 모든 상황을 다스리고 통치할 수 있는 은혜와 능력을 받았습니다. 나는 모든 악과 위협에서 보호받고 있습니다. 내가 그리스도 안에 있고 그리스도께서 내 안에 계시기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

CHRIST IN YOU—THE WONDER OF CHRISTIANITY

“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”(Colossians 1:27).

To have the vital knowledge and live with the consciousness that Christ lives in you is one of the greatest blessings of Christianity. It is, in fact, your solution to all problems and answer to all questions. Christ in you is the wonder of Christianity.

When Jesus walked the earth, He was with the disciples as Emmanuel, God with us. But the Father’s dream was yet to be consummated. He wanted all of divinity in us, not just with us. He wanted His Spirit in us.

It’s the reason Jesus said, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you” (John 14:16-17). The desire of the Father was actuated on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came to live in us.

Consider the amazing truth in Romans 8:11: “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

This means Christ in you—the Holy Spirit in you—is the life of your physical body; it’s your health, your deliverance, wholeness, and preservation. Christ in you is your right to walk out of any pain. Christ in you is your power over every crisis; it’s your dominion over darkness, poverty, lack and want. Hallelujah! Christ in you, is the greatest blessing of all. Blessed be God!

CONFESSION

Glory, wholeness, perfection, success and prosperity are guaranteed in my life because Christ is in me! He’s in every fibre of my being, in every bone of my body, and in every cell of my blood! I’ve been granted the grace and ability in Christ to reign and rule over all circumstances. I’m shielded from all evil and harm because I’m in Christ and Christ is in me! Hallelujah!

영원히 지속되는 생명

Everlasting Life

“하나님께서 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 자신의 독생자를 주셨으니 이것은 누구든지 그를 믿는 자는 멸망하지 않고 영존하는 생명을 얻게 하려 하심이라.”(요 3:16, 한글킹제임스)

오늘의 본문 구절은 가장 인기 있는 성경 구절입니다. 이 구절은 성경 전체에서 가장 강력하고 유익한 말씀을 포함하고 있습니다. 요한복음 3:16은 누구든지 하나님의 아들을 믿는 자는 영원히 지속되는 생명(everlasting life)을 얻는다고 말하며, 이는 파괴, 버림, 실패, 망가짐 등으로부터 분리되었다는 뜻입니다.

영원히 지속되는 생명이란 무엇입니까? 그저 영원히 계속되는 삶입니까? 아닙니다. 이러한 정의는 실제 이 생명이 무엇인지 전혀 말해주고 있지 않습니다. 영원히 지속되는 생명을 이해하려면 먼저 영생(eternal life)을 알아야 합니다. 어떤 사람들은 이 둘이 다르다는 사실에 놀랄지도 모릅니다. 하지만 영원히 지속되는 생명과 영생에는 차이가 있습니다.

영원하다는 것(to be eternal)은 시간에 제약이 없다는 뜻입니다. 즉, 시작도 끝도 없습니다. 그러므로 영생은 시작도 없고 끝도 없는 생명입니다. 이 생명은 시간의 한계를 받지 않습니다. 그러므로 영원(Eternity)은 시간이나 나이의 제약을 받지 않습니다. 더 구체적으로 말하자면, 썩지 않고, 파괴되지 않고, 망가지지 않고, 끝이 없고, 실패나 죽음에 굴복하지 않는 생명입니다. 이것이 하나님의 생명이자 본성입니다.

바로 이것이 하나님을 영원한 분이라고 일컫는 이유입니다. 시편 90:2은 말합니다. “산들이 생기기 전에, 땅과 세계가 생기기 전에, 영원부터 영원까지, 주님은 하나님이십니다.”(새번역) 영원히 지속되는 생명은 시작이 있는 영생입니다. 곧 이 생명(Everlasting life)은 시작은 있지만 끝이 없습니다.

YOU’RE ON A UNIQUE ASSIGNMENT

There are billions of people on earth today and no two fingerprints are alike in the whole world. We’re all uniquely gifted, blessed and called of God. So, let your joy be in fulfilling the calling that God has given you. You’re on a unique assignment; stay in the grace that God gave you, as no one can do it exactly like you.

Think about Paul: He was an apostle to the Gentiles; that wasn’t something fashionable in his day, but he celebrated his unique assignment. He said in Romans 11:13, “I am an apostle to the Gentiles; I magnify my office.” He didn’t wish to have been sent to the Jews; Peter had that.

It’s like Joshua too; though He walked closely with Moses before Moses died, he understood the uniqueness of what God wanted him to do. In Joshua chapter 1, God said to him: “go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them…for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.”

When Joshua got those marching orders, he understood that his assignment was unique from that of Moses. God had earlier told Moses, “I want you to bring my people out of Egypt” (Exodus 3:7-10). Moses brought them out of captivity in Egypt all right, but it was Joshua who took them into the land of promise and divided it for their inheritance (Joshua 1:2 & 6).

Have you established your unique assignment in that country, city, town, village, neighbourhood, school, or office? Don’t think you’re there just like everyone else, to do the same things they’re all doing. Understand that you’re on a unique assignment and fulfil your purpose with poise!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I’m immensely grateful and excited about the uniqueness of my assignments in the earth. I fulfil my purpose in Christ, and walk in preordained paths that you planned before the foundation of the world, that I may serve and live for you. A Heritage Of Victory

우리는 승리하기 위해 그리스도 안에서 기도하지 않습니다. 승리는 우리의 유산입니다. 우리의 삶입니다! 우리는 언제 어디서나 승리하도록 태어났습니다. 그것이 말씀이 말하는 바이며, 말씀은 절대 변하지 않습니다. 당신의 영이 이 진리를 붙잡게 하십시오. 그리고 진리와 일치되게 사십시오.

A HERITAGE OF VICTORY

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place”(2 Corinthians 2:14).

In Christ, we don’t pray to be victorious; it’s our heritage; it’s our life! We were born to be triumphant always and in every place. That’s what the Word says and it’s immutable. Let your spirit get a hold of this truth, and live accordingly.

This doesn’t mean you won’t encounter challenges; but it sure means you’ll always win, regardless of the challenges. So, it makes no difference what happens, where you find yourself or who’s against you: you’re more than a conqueror. You can never be disadvantaged.

God has given you everything it takes to live victoriously every day. He gave you the Holy Spirit, He gave you His Word, and gave you the Name of Jesus. Then, He also gave you the ability to speak, to use words.

By your words, you can chart your course in victory and success. You can make your life permanently triumphant. Whatever you say will surely come to pass. Therefore, in the face of adversity, declare God’s Word.

Every so often, affirm that good things are coming your way and happening for you and around you because the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. Use your mouth—your words—to keep yourself on the victory highway, transform circumstances, and change situations to conform to God’s perfect will for you.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your Word by which I live triumphantly today and always. It doesn’t matter what happens around me, I win always! I enjoy my days in success, progress, peace, joy, health, and unending prosperity. With my faith-filled words, I transform circumstances and change situations to conform to your perfect will for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

There’s A Divine Purpose For Your Life

몇 년 전 주님께서는 저에게 사람이 해야 할 가장 중요한 일은 자신의 목적을 발견하고 성취하는 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다. 하지만 대부분의 사람들은 결코 그렇게 살지 않습니다. 그렇기 때문에 그들은 공허한 인생을 살며, 자신을 향한 신성한 계획이 있다는 사실을 전혀 알지 못한 채 살아갑니다.

에베소서 2:10은 말합니다. “우리는 하나님께서 [직접] 손수 만드신 작품(그분의 솜씨)이며, [하나님께서 미리 준비해 놓으신 길을 따라] 그분께서 우리를 위해 예정하신 (사전에 계획하신) 선한 일을 하고, 그 안에서 [그분께서 미리 계획하시고 준비하신 좋은 삶을 살며] 행하도록 그리스도 예수 안에서 재창조된 [거듭난] 자입니다.”(확대번역본)

THERE’S A DIVINE PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE

“And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it”(Colossians 4:17).

Several years ago, the Lord told me that the most important thing for men to do is to discover their purpose and fulfil it, but most never do. Therefore, they live empty lives, never realizing that there was a divine plan for them.

Ephesians 2:10: AMPC says, “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].”

How important it is for you to discover your purpose! What joy and peace will flood your heart when you find yourself in the preordained paths in which you were born to walk! God doesn’t just do things; He has a purpose for everything. He has a purpose for the world, and He sure has a purpose for your life. It’s important that you find out God’s purpose for you.

A generic purpose for all God’s children is that we were born for His glory; we were born to walk with God and bring Him honour. Let that basic purpose become established in your heart from today, and declare, “Lord, I thank you, because I was born for your glory.”

Beyond that, however, there’s a specific purpose for which you were created and placed on this earth. And it is in fulfilling that purpose that you truly bring glory and honour to God.

If you haven’t discovered that specific purpose, you can, starting today. Be bold to ask the Lord and He’ll tell you. Sometimes, He’ll speak expressly, as He did to Paul the Apostle (read: Acts 26:13-16). Other times, He’ll guide you into it, and every day, you’ll discover more and more of His purpose for your life, as you walk by faith in accordance with His Word in all things.

PRAYER

Thank you, Father, for revealing to me the specific purpose for which I was created and placed on this earth. I’m a witness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sent from your heavenly Kingdom for the salvation of souls in the earth. My daily passion is to establish the Kingdom of God in the earth and in the hearts of men and thus bring you glory and honour, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Supreme Authority

SUPREME AUTHORITY

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues”(Mark 16:17).

There’re two things I’ll like you to observe in the theme verse. The first is the fact that the Lord Jesus gave us authority over devils. What is authority? Authority is delegated power; it’s the right to command and be obeyed, or the ability to command and enforce obedience; it is the right to command something, someone, anything or whatever it is, and be obeyed! For example, when we use the Name of Jesus to effect a change or make a command, that’s authority!

Secondly, He also gave us the power of attorney, that is, the legal right to act on His behalf or in His stead as His agent; the legal right to act in His Name. So, how much power do you wield, how much force can you exercise, and how much authority do you really have, having been given the power of attorney? It depends on how much power is behind the one that’s giving it to you.

It doesn’t matter how much power you’ve got, if someone with a higher authority than the one who authorized you comes, you have to submit.

Matthew 28:18 lets us in on His authority. It says, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” Notice He doesn’t say some power, but ALL power; also observe that He didn’t say that power is given unto him in to exercise in Israel or some parts of the world,” no! He said in heaven and in earth.

The Lord Jesus has supreme and unrivalled authority. Hallelujah! When you issue commands to Satan, his demons, and the elements of this world in His Name, they’ll hear and obey you, because you function in Christ’s authority and dominion.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for giving me the ability to command and enforce obedience, and the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus to effect changes, and control circumstances. That Name wields all power in heaven and in earth, and therefore, I declare, in the Name of Jesus, that the Gospel shall have free course in the nations of the world. Amen.

고군분투를 멈추십시오

Quit The Struggle

“이미 그의 안식에 들어간 자는 하나님이 자기의 일을 쉬심과 같이 그도 자기의 일을 쉬느니라”(히 4:10)

하나님이 이 세상에 두신 모든 것은 천사나 마귀나 하나님 자신을 위한 것이 아니라 바로 우리를 위한 것입니다! 이것이 사실이라면 어째서 그리스도인이 그리스도 안에서 자신에게 속한 것을 하나님께 달라고 기도하는 끝없는 수고를 합니까? 생각해 보십시오!

슬프게도 저는 누군가 이렇게 불평하는 것을 들었습니다. “나는 이 병이 낫게 해 달라고 5년 동안 열심히 금식하고, 심지어 헌금으로 씨앗을 심으면서 기도했습니다!” 이들에게 인생은 영적 전쟁 혹은 기도 안에서의 끝없는 고군분투가 되어버렸습니다. 단지 건강하게 살고, 집세를 내고, 시험을 통과하거나, 혹은 나름 괜찮은 직업을 갖기 위해 말입니다.

궁극적인 문제는 대부분 그리스도 안에서 그들에게 합법적으로 속한 것이 무엇인지 모르는 무지에서부터 비롯됩니다. 시편 기자는 이렇게 말했습니다. “그들은 알지도 못하고 깨닫지도 못하여 흑암 중에 왕래하니 땅의 모든 터가 흔들리도다 내가 말하기를 너희는 신들이며 다 지존자의 아들들이라 하였으나 그러나 너희는 사람처럼 죽으며 고관의 하나 같이 넘어지리로다.”(시 82:5-7) 왜 그들이 인간처럼 죽습니까? 어째서 그들은 고관 중 하나 같이 넘어지는 것입니까? “그들이 알지 못하기” 때문입니다. 즉, 무지 때문인 것입니다.

먼저 당신은 위대하고 승리하는 왕국에 속해 있다는 사실을 아십시오. 그러므로 당당하게 서서, 가슴을 펴고, 턱을 치켜 올리십시오. 예수님께서 이미 당신이 승리 가운데 걸으며 모든 축복을 누리기 위해 모든 값을 치르셨기 때문입니다. 당신이 아픔, 질병, 연약함보다 우월하다는 사실을 알고 있다면 어떻게 말하고, 걷고, 행동하겠습니까? 그것이 불필요한 고군분투를 끝낼 것입니다!

당신이 아브라함의 후손이며, 헤아릴 수 없는 축복의 상속자이고, 가난과 실패가 없는 생명 곧 패배하거나 파괴될 수 없는 생명을 받았다는 사실을 알고 있다면 기도내용이 즉시 바뀌지 않겠습니까?

스스로 말씀을 알아가십시오. 진리에 익숙해지십시오. 기억하십시오. 축복의 삶은 그리스도 예수 안에서 당신의 유업입니다. 하나님은 당신을 이미 측량할 수 없을 만큼 축복하셨습니다. “찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복을 우리에게 주시되”(엡 1:3) 할렐루야!

기도

나는 하나님의 말씀의 진리 안에서 걸으며, 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 유업을 알게 되고, 다방면에서 끝없는 축복을 누립니다. 나는 하나님의 축복의 성취와 실재 가운데 삽니다. 나는 하나님의 안식 안으로 들어왔습니다. 만물이 나의 것입니다. 나는 그리스도 안에서 내게 주어진 모든 것을 다 누립니다. 나는 내 믿음으로 모든 곳에서 영광스럽게 승리합니다. 아멘.

QUIT THE STRUGGLE

“For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his”(Hebrews 4:10).

Everything that God has placed in this world is not for the angels, the demons, or for Himself, but for us! If it is true, why should the Christian labour endlessly in prayer just to get God to give them something which belongs to him in Christ? Think about it!

Sadly, I’ve heard those who gripe, “I’ve prayed for five years, with intense fasting, and even sown seeds, just to get healed of this ailment!” Life, to them, has become a spiritual warfare, or as it were, an endless struggle in prayer, just to live in health, pay a meagre house rent, pass their exams, or to even have a decent job.

The problem usually stems from their ignorance of what rightfully belongs to them in Christ. The psalmist said, “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes” (Psalm 82:5-7). Why would they die like men? Why would they fall like one of the princes? It’s because “they know not”; that is, their ignorance!

First, you belong to a great and winning Kingdom. So, square up, chest out, and chin up because Jesus already paid the full price for you to walk on in victory and enjoy all the blessings. How would you talk, walk, or act, if you knew that you’re superior to sickness, disease, and infirmities? It’ll put an end to these unnecessary health struggles!

If you found out that you’re the seed of Abraham, an heir of blessings untold, and have been imbued with a life that’s incapable of poverty or failure; a life that can’t be defeated or destroyed, wouldn’t that immediately change the contents of your prayer?

Get to know the Word for yourself; be acquainted with these truths. Remember, the life of blessings is your heritage in Christ Jesus. God already blessed you beyond measure: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” (Ephesians 1:3). Hallelujah!

PRAYER

I walk in the truths of God’s Word, getting acquainted with my inheritance in Christ and enjoying all of these numerous, multifaceted blessings. I live in the fulfilment and reality of God’s blessings; I’ve been brought into God’s rest. All things are mine. I take full advantage of all that’s available to me in Christ, and by my faith, I triumph gloriously in every place. Amen.
