당신의 영 안에 있는 성공
Success In Your Spirit

“모든 지킬 만한 것 중에 더욱 네 마음을 지키라 생명의 근원이 이에서 남이니라”(잠 4:23)

말씀은 매우 중요합니다. 당신은 말씀으로 당신의 삶을 지어가고 영을 세워갑니다. 또한 말씀으로 당신 안에서 진정한 성공을 만들어냅니다. 성공은 인간의 영으로부터 시작되기 때문입니다. 당신 안에 성공을 가지고 있다면 그 어떤 상황도 당신에게서 그것을 빼앗아 갈 수 없습니다. 그러나 당신 안에 가지고 있지 않다면 당신의 삶은 상황에 의존하게 될 것이며, 상황에 기반한 성공은 진정한 성공이 아닙니다.

이런 일이 너무나도 많은 사람들에게 일어납니다. 그들의 삶은 자신의 나라, 재정, 일, 직장 등에 얼마나 좋은 일들이 일어나는지에 달려있습니다. 많은 사람들이 더 푸른 초원을 찾아 돌아다니고 있습니다. 당신은 그런 자가 되어서는 안됩니다. 성공은 당신의 영 안에 있습니다. 당신은 아브라함의 씨입니다. 이것은 당신의 삶의 여정은 오직 한 방향, 즉 위로 앞으로만 가야 한다는 뜻입니다.

당신의 성공은 환경과 무관합니다. 하나님이 설계하신 성공은 상황과 상관이 없습니다. 하나님은 상황과 무관하시기 때문입니다. 당신은 하나님의 형상과 모양을 따라 창조되었습니다. 그분이 당신에게 주신 본성은 계속 증가하는 영광과 탁월함이며 항상 진보하는 것입니다. 이것이 당신의 사고방식이 되어야 합니다. 그렇지 않다면 당신은 상황에 의존하며 상황이 좋아지기를 기도하는 사람들과 같이 될 것입니다.

그러나 말씀을 아는 하나님의 자녀는 그렇게 살지 않습니다. 그는 안으로부터 성공을 만들어냅니다. 성경은 삶의 모든 문제들이 당신의 마음에서 나온다고 말합니다(잠 4:23). 주 예수님은 마태복음 12:35에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “선한 사람은 그 쌓은 선에서 선한 것을 내고 악한 사람은 그 쌓은 악에서 악한 것을 내느니라” 성공과 삶의 모든 좋은 것이 당신 안에 있습니다. 그것들을 밖으로 나타내십시오. 할렐루야!

 

고백

더 크신 분이 내 안에 사십니다! 나의 영은 주변의 환경과 상관없이 항상 선한 것들을 내도록 깨어 있고 활성화됩니다. 내 영에 있는 하나님의 말씀은 언제 어디서나 부와 번영과 성공을 가져옵니다! 할렐루야!

SUCCESS IN YOUR SPIRIT

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).

The Word is so important. With the Word, you’ll build your life; you’ll build your spirit; you’ll build real success within you, because success starts first from the human spirit. If you have it inside you, no circumstance in life can take it away from you. But if you don’t have it in you, your life will depend on circumstances, and circumstantial success isn’t true success.

This has happened to far too many people. Their lives depend on how good things are in their country, in their finances, in their job, in their place of work, etc. And so, you have a lot of people drifting around, looking for some greener pastures. But that shouldn’t be you. Success is built into your spirit. You’re the seed of Abraham; that means your life’s journey should be in one direction only: upward and forward.

Your success is independent of circumstances. That’s how God designed it, because He Himself is independent of circumstances. You’re born in His image and likeness. The nature He’s given you is one of ever-increasing glory and greatness; always making progress. This has to be your mindset; otherwise, you’ll be like everyone else whose life is dependent on circumstances; who keeps praying that things will be all right.

But a child of God who understands the Word doesn’t live like that; he brings forth success from within. The Bible says from your heart are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 12:35, “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things….” Success and all the good things of life are in you; bring them forth.

CONFESSION
The greater One lives in me! My spirit is awakened and stirred up to be independent of circumstances, to bring forth good things always, irrespective of the situation around me. The Word of God in my spirit produces wealth, prosperity and success, anytime, anywhere! Hallelujah!

Recognize Christ In You

“믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도께서 너희 마음에 계시게 하시옵고 너희가 사랑 가운데서 뿌리가 박히고 터가 굳어져서”(엡 3:17)

어떤 그리스도인들은 말씀에 대한 무지로 인해 신약과 일치하지 않는 노래들을 부릅니다. 예를 들어 그들은 “성령님, 나에게 임하소서.”라고 노래하기도 합니다. 이것은 말이 되지 않습니다. 성령님은 당신 안에 사시기 때문입니다. 그분은 하늘에 계시지 않습니다. 그렇다면 그분이 어디에서 “내려오시겠습니까?”

그들은 이런 노래를 부르면서 자신들이 축복받고 있다고 생각을 하며 감정적으로 격앙되거나 울기도 합니다. 그러나 사실 그들은 축복받고 있지 않습니다. 오히려 그런 노래들은 고치기 어려운 불신앙을 만들어내고 결과적으로 그들의 믿음을 더욱 약하고 효과 없게 만듭니다.

성령님은 영원히 우리와 함께 계시고 우리 안에 계신데, 어떻게 성령님께 우리에게 다시 임해달라고 요청할 수 있습니까? 예수님은 요한복음 14:16에서 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 아버지께 구하겠으니 그가 또 다른 보혜사를 너희에게 주사 영원토록 너희와 함께 있게 하리니” 성령님은 오순절 날 오신 이래로 다시 돌아가지 않으셨으며 결코 우리를 떠나지 않으십니다. 하나님의 자녀들이 이미 그들이 소유한 것을 구하는 모습을 보는 것은 그리스도의 지체로서 참으로 안타까운 일입니다.

이것은 오늘의 본문 구절에서 사도 바울이 이렇게 기도한 이유와도 연관이 있습니다. “믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도께서 너희 마음에 계시게 하시옵고…” 당신은 “그리스도께서는 이미 우리의 마음에 계신 것이 아니었습니까?” 하고 물을 수도 있습니다. 바울이 “우리의 마음”이라고 말하지 않은 것을 보십시오. 그는 그리스도 안에서 영적으로 성숙하지 않은 자들을 위해 기도했던 것입니다.

우리는 영적으로 어린 자들을 위해 그렇게 기도해야 합니다. 왜냐하면 그들은 내주하시는 그리스도를 인식한 적이 없기 때문입니다. 안타깝게도 오랫동안 그리스도인이었던 사람들도 오늘날 이런 기도가 필요합니다. 그들 역시 내주하시는 그리스도를 인식하지 않고 살았기 때문입니다. 그들은 여전히 그들 안에 있는 것을 찾고 있습니다. 그들은 하늘에서 무언가 내려오길 원합니다. 그러나 그들이 구하는 것은 무엇이든지 이미 그들에게 주어졌습니다(벧후 1:3)

골로새서 1:27은 “너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”고 말합니다. 당신 안에 계신 그리스도를 인식하십시오. 할렐루야!

 

고백
그리스도는 내 심령을 그분의 거처로 삼으셨기 때문에 내 안에 살아 계십니다. 그분과 관련된 모든 것이 내 영 안에 있습니다. 나는 자연스럽게 초자연적인 삶을 삽니다. 그리스도가 내 안에 계시기 때문입니다. 나는 무엇에 대해서도 어둠 가운데 걷지 않습니다. 내가 그리스도 안에서 나의 운명을 성취하도록 의의 길로 인도하시는 내 심령에 있는 그분의 빛을 인식하기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

RECOGNIZE CHRIST IN YOU

I pray that Christ may make His home in your hearts through your faith; so that having your roots deep and your foundations strong, in love, you may become mighty to grasp the idea (Ephesians 3:17 WNT).

As a result of ignorance of the Word, some Christians sing certain songs that aren’t consistent with the New Testament. For example, some would sing, “Holy Spirit, fall afresh on me.” That doesn’t make any sense, because the Holy Spirit lives in you. He’s not in heaven; so, where is He going to “fall” from?

They could sing such a song and get so emotional and cry, thinking they’re getting blessed. But the truth is, they’re not really getting blessed; rather, such songs create a certain kind of unbelief that’s difficult to cure, resulting in their faith getting weaker and more and more ineffective.

How could a Christian be asking the Holy Spirit to fall afresh on him when the Holy Spirit is with us and in us forever? Jesus said, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever” (John 14:16). Since the Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost, He hasn’t gone back, and He’ll never leave us. It’s a painful thing in the body of Christ to see God’s children in search of what they already have.

This isn’t unconnected with the reason for the Apostle Paul’s prayer in our theme verse: “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith….” “Wasn’t Christ already dwelling in their hearts?” you may wonder. Yes, you’d notice he didn’t say, “Our hearts”; he was praying for the spiritually immature in Christ.

That’s how we pray for young converts, because they haven’t recognized the indwelling Christ. Sadly, many, including those who have been Christians for a long time, still require this prayer today because they haven’t recognized the indwelling Christ. They’re still in search of what’s right inside them. They want something to come from Heaven; yet, everything they could ever ask for has been granted them (2 Peter 1:3). Colossians 1:27 says, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Recognize Him in you. Hallelujah!

 

CONFESSION
Christ is alive in me, because He has settled and made His home in my heart by faith; everything about Him is resident in my spirit. I’m living the supernatural life, naturally, because Christ is in me. I don’t walk in darkness about anything, because I’m conscious of His light in my heart, guiding me in the path of righteousness, to fulfil my destiny in Him. Hallelujah!

세상의 영을 주의하십시오
Beware Of The Spirit Of The World

“이 세상이나 세상에 있는 것들을 사랑하지 말라 누구든지 세상을 사랑하면 아버지의 사랑이 그 안에 있지 아니하니”(요일 2:15)

많은 그리스도인들이 의식하지 못하지만, 고린도전서 2:12에 언급되어 있는 영의 한 종류가 있습니다. 그것은 “세상의 영”입니다. “우리가 세상의 영을 받지 아니하고 오직 하나님으로부터 온 영을 받았으니 이는 우리로 하여금 하나님께서 우리에게 은혜로 주신 것들을 알게 하려 하심이라” 그리스도인들의 세속적인 마음은 이 영에서 비롯됩니다. 이 영은 세상의 유행을 이끄는 영입니다.

그리스도인들이 주의하지 않는다면 그들은 세상의 유행을 따라가고 있는 자신을 발견하게 될 것입니다. 자신들이 세상의 영에 휘둘리고 있다는 것을 모른 채 세상이 말하는 것이나 일어나는 일들에 대해 휩쓸릴 것입니다. 우리는 성경에서 말하는 사라질 “이 세상의 유행”을 따르지 않고도 세상의 물건들을 쓸 수 있습니다(고전 7:31).

이 세상의 유행은 세상의 동향을 말하며 세상의 영 아래 있습니다. 사단이 이 세상 시스템의 신이라는 것을 기억하십시오. 그러므로 오늘의 본문 구절이 “이 세상이나 세상에 있는 것들을 사랑하지 말라…”고 말할 때에 위에서 언급된 세상에 대해 말하고 있는 것입니다. 이 세상의 시스템에 통제되거나 영향 받기를 거절하십시오. 예수님은 당신이 이 세상에 있지만 세상에서 나지 않았다고 말씀하셨습니다. 할렐루야!

오늘날 어떤 사람들은 떠내려 가듯이 살고 있습니다. 그들은 거듭났음에도 불구하고 이 세상에 정복되어 살아갑니다. 그들은 복음에 기반한 삶의 동기를 가지고 있지 않습니다. 당신의 삶의 동기는 반드시 그리스도와 그분이 죽으신 목적이어야 합니다. 이 쇠퇴하는 세상의 일시적인 것들에 집중하지 마십시오. 흔히 말하는 “유행들” 중 그 무엇도 당신에게 진정한 기쁨을 줄 수 없습니다.

바울은 갈라디아서 6:14에서 이렇게 말했습니다. “그러나 내게는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 십자가 외에 결코 자랑할 것이 없으니 그리스도로 말미암아 세상이 나를 대하여 십자가에 못 박히고 내가 또한 세상을 대하여 그러하니라” 이것이 당신이 가져야 할 태도입니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 삶에서 내 길을 인도하시는 성령님의 내주하심에 감사드립니다. 나는 세상의 영에 흔들리기를 거절합니다. 나는 이 세상의 유행이나 동향에 유혹되지 않습니다. 나는 위에서 왔으며 위에 있는 것들에 마음을 둡니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BEWARE OF THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him (1 John 2:15).

There’s a type of spirit that many Christians are oblivious of, and the Bible talks about it in 1 Corinthians 2:12; it’s “the spirit of the world”: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” This spirit is responsible for worldliness amongst Christians. That’s the spirit that tries to set trends—the trends of the world.

When Christians aren’t careful, they find themselves moving with those trends of the world; what the world says, how things are done, not realising they’re being swayed by the spirit of the world into worldliness. We can use certain things in the world without following what the Bible calls “The fashion of this world” that passes away (1 Corinthians 7:31).

The fashion of this world refers to the trend of this world, and it’s under the spirit of the world. Remember that Satan is the god of this world’s system. So, when our theme verse says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world…,” that’s what it’s talking about. Refuse to be controlled or influenced by the systems of this present world. Jesus said you’re in the world, but not of the world. Hallelujah!

Some people today are drifting; they’re born again, but they’ve been conquered by the world. They don’t have the Gospel-motive. Your motivation in life should and must be Christ Jesus and the purpose for which He died. Don’t let your focus be on the transient things of this failing world, for none of its so-called “trends” can give you true joy.
Paul said in Galatians 6:14, “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” This is the attitude that you must have.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, by whom I navigate my way through life. I refuse to be swayed by the spirit of the world, for I’m not enticed by the fashion or trends of this world. I’m from above, and my mind is set on things above, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

말을 통한 번영
Flourishing Through Words

“살리는 것은 영이니 육은 무익하니라 내가 너희에게 이른 말은 영이요 생명이라”(요 6:63)

여러 과학자들이 수년에 걸쳐 말이 자연적인 일들에 미치는 영향에 대해 실험해왔습니다. 한 연구자는 같은 종류의 두 식물을 동일한 조건에서 키웠습니다. 그는 한 식물을 향해서는 사랑과 친절의 말을 하고, 다른 식물에게는 미움과 학대의 말을 했습니다.

그는 매일 두 식물에게 이러한 말을 끊임없이 퍼부었습니다. 몇 주가 지나자, 그가 친절하게 말했던 식물은 잘 자랐지만 다른 식물은 연약해졌습니다. 그는 같은 방식으로 계속 말을 하였고, 결국 긍정적인 말을 들은 식물은 꽃을 피웠지만 부정적인 말을 들었던 식물은 시들었습니다.

하나님께서 당신을 향해 계획하신 영광스러운 삶을 살기 원한다면 반드시 바른 말을 하는 법을 배워야 합니다. 당신이 번영하거나 실패하는 것, 혹은 살거나 죽는 것은 당신의 말에 달렸습니다. 당신은 하나님의 형상과 모양을 따라 지어졌고, 그것은 당신이 하나님과 같은 모습이고 그분처럼 기능한다는 뜻입니다. 하나님과 같이 당신이 하는 말은 영이며 생명입니다. 당신의 말은 그것이 전하거나 소통하는 메시지를 생산해냅니다.

모든 창조물은 말에 반응합니다. 예를 들어, 책이 완전히 타버렸다 할지라도 그 책은 여전히 존재합니다. 그저 압축된 형태에서 확장된 형태로 변모되었을 뿐입니다. 더 이상 눈에 보이지 않을 뿐 그 책의 입자들은 그 안에 소리 코드를 포함한 채로 여전히 존재합니다. 만일 당신의 말을 통해 적합한 코드를 풀어낼 수 있다면, 당신은 입자들을 불러내어 본래 유형의 압축된 형태로 되돌릴 수 있습니다..

이것은 그 대상이 얼마나 죽은 상태이든지 상관없이 당신은 어떤 것에도 말을 할 수 있고 그것을 만개한 상태로 되돌릴 수 있다는 것을 알려줍니다. 당신의 삶은 당신이 한 말의 결과입니다. 그러므로 당신은 자신이 하는 말을 통해 영광에서 영광에 이르도록 나아가게 하고 항상 번영할 수 있습니다.

기도
나의 마음에는 존귀하고, 사랑스럽고, 은혜롭고, 탁월하고, 칭찬할 만한 것들이 담겨 있으며 내 말로 그것들을 생산해냅니다. 나는 종려나무와 같이 번성합니다. 나는 위엄 있고, 강직하고, 유능하고, 생산적이고, 장엄하고, 안정적이고, 부패할 수 없습니다. 나의 길에는 생명과 성공과 승리와 부요가 있습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

FLOURISHING THROUGH WORDS

…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63).

Over the years, many scientists have experimented with words, trying to understand the effect they have on natural things. A certain researcher grew two plants of the same kind, under identical conditions. Then he decided to speak words of love and kindness to one, while he spoke words of hate and abuse to the other.

Every day, he subjected the plants to this constant barrage of words, and a few weeks later, he noticed the plant he’d been speaking to nicely grew luxuriantly, but the other plant became frail. He continued with the same pattern of speaking and, eventually, the plant receiving positive words bloomed, but the other one being pelted with negative words withered away.

If you’re going to live the glorious life that God has planned for you to live, you must learn to speak the right words. Whether you flourish or fail, live or die, depends on your words. You’re created in the image and likeness of God; you look like Him, and function like Him. That means, like Him, your words are spirit and they’re life; they produce the message they bear or communicate.

Everything in creation responds to spoken words. If a book got completely burnt, for example, it doesn’t cease to exist. It simply transmogrifies from a compressed form to an expanded form. And though it’s no longer visible to the optical eye, its particles still exist, with specific sound codes in them. If you could release the appropriate codes through your words, you could recall the seemingly varnished particles and bring back the material into its compressed, tangible form.

This lets you know you can talk to anything, no matter how dead, and bring it back to a blossoming state. You can make progress from glory to glory and flourish evermore through the words that you speak, for your life is the result of your words.

PRAYER
My heart is an unfathomable reservoir of things that are honourable, winsome, gracious, excellent and praiseworthy, and I bring them forth by words. I declare that I flourish like the palm tree; I’m stately, upright, fruitful, majestic, stable, durable and incorruptible. In my path, there’s life, success, victory, and wealth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

성령이 당신의 갈증을 해소하셨습니다
He Has Quenched Your Thirst

“내 살은 참된 양식이요 내 피는 참된 음료로다”(요 6:55)

하나님께 “자신의 갈증을 해소하고” 새롭게 채워 달라고 항상 부르짖는 사람들이 있습니다. 그들은 예수님이 요한복음 7:37에서 “명절 끝날 곧 큰 날에 예수께서 서서 외쳐 이르시되 누구든지 목마르거든 내게로 와서 마시라”고 하신 말씀을 오해하고 있습니다. 이 말씀은 하나님에 대한 갈증이 있다면 예수님께 가야 한다는 뜻이 아닙니다.

또한 성령께서 바울을 통해 고린도전서 10:4에 쓰신 내용을 혼동하지 마십시오. “다 같은 신령한 음료를 마셨으니 이는 그들을 따르는 신령한 반석으로부터 마셨으매 그 반석은 곧 그리스도시라” 구약에서 그들은 반석에서 나는 물을 마셨으며 그 반석은 그리스도이셨습니다. 그러나 오늘날 당신은 물을 마시기 위해 더 이상 예수님께 “갈” 필요가 없습니다. 당신은 그리스도 안에 있으며, 그리스도는 당신 안에 계십니다! 그분은 말씀하셨습니다. “나를 믿는 자는 성경에 이름과 같이 그 배에서 생수의 강이 흘러나오리라 하시니”(요 7:38)

예수님이 말씀하신 “생수의 강”은 무엇을 의미합니까? 요한복음 7장 39절이 이에 대해 설명하고 있습니다. “이는 그를 믿는 자들이 받을 성령을 가리켜 말씀하신 것이라(예수께서 아직 영광을 받지 않으셨으므로 성령이 아직 그들에게 계시지 아니하시더라).” 여기서 말하는 생수는 성령입니다. 고린도전서 12:13은 말합니다. “ 우리가 유대인이나 헬라인이나 종이나 자유인이나 다 한 성령으로 세례를 받아 한 몸이 되었고 또 다 한 성령을 마시게 하셨느니라” 이는 다른 말로 하면, 당신이 성령을 받았을 때 성령을 마시게 되었다는 것입니다. 성령이 당신의 갈증을 해소하셨습니다!

HE HAS QUENCHED YOUR THIRST

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed (John 6:55).

There’re those who are always crying to God to “quench their thirst” and fill them afresh. They misunderstand the words of Jesus in John 7:37, where He said, “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” This doesn’t mean that when you’re “thirsty” for God, you go to Jesus.

Also, don’t be confused by what the Spirit penned through Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:4, saying, “And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.” In the Old Testament, they drank water from the rock, and that rock was Christ. Today, you don’t need to “go” to Jesus anymore to get that drink; you’re in Him, and He’s in you! He said, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38).

What did He mean by “rivers of living water”? The 39th verse explains it. It says, “(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified).” This water is the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:13 NIV says, “For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” In other words, when you received the Holy Spirit, you got the drink of the Spirit. He’s quenched your thirst!

We don’t cry to God to fill us when we think we’re thirsty; we get ourselves filled with the Spirit; and the Word shows us how: “And be not drunk with wine, where in is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs (songs of the spirit; singing in the spirit), singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” (Ephesians 5:18-19). This is the way to stay perpetually filled and drenched in the Holy Ghost!
It’s by ministering to yourself in the spirit—singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of the precious Holy Spirit in and with whom I’m filled continually. I’m forever refreshed through the Spirit, for out of my belly flows gushers of living water, to give life and sustenance to everything about me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You’re A Necessary Part Of His Agenda

YOU’RE A NECESSARY PART OF HIS AGENDA

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building (1 Corinthians 3:9).

One of the things that must be paramount to you in life is being an active part of God’s agenda, promoting the Gospel and seeing to it that the knowledge of salvation covers the earth as the waters cover the sea. This should be your driving force and purpose in everything you do.

The reason you’re in that business or working in that company or organization is so God can use you in that “chariot” to transform lives and be a blessing in your world. That’s our main purpose for being in the earth; otherwise, immediately after you’re born again, the Lord would have taken you to heaven. But He left you in the earth to carry out His purpose, to take His message to others while you develop character and spiritual understanding.

Have a plan for the Gospel, for you’re the Lord’s partner in spreading the good news of His saving power around the world; you’re His co-labourer (1 Corinthians 3:9). A dispensation of the Gospel has been committed to your trust. This was what made Paul say, “…necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel” (1 Corinthians 9:16).

You’re Christ’s ambassador, His minister of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19). Live with this consciousness—winning souls and changing lives around the world. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, I thank you for the Gospel of Christ that has blessed and enriched me. I’m grateful for the privilege to be called into partnership with you in bringing others out of darkness into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Affirm His Truths

AFFIRM HIS TRUTHS

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).

2 Timothy 3:1 admonishes that in the last days, perilous times shall come. Nevertheless, Romans 8:35-37 lets us know that in spite of the tribulation, distress, famine, peril, and pandemics that would characterise the signs of the end of the age, you have nothing to fear. This is because you’re more than a conqueror: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword…Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” (Romans 8:35-37).

What you need is to hold on to God’s Word; know and have it in your consciousness and establish it through speaking. The power is in affirmation. For example, the Word says, “No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “…nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Then in John 16:33, He also said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Believe and affirm these truths.

Jesus didn’t overcome the world for Himself but for you. He overcame the world and all the evil, darkness and negativities therein, and gave you the victory. What you’re required to do now is to establish and maintain that victory in your life with your faith￾filled confessions. He said in Mark 11:23, “…whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” The Word of God in your mouth is a creative force. Praise God!

PRAYER

I declare that my life is for glory and beauty; and in my path, there’s life, success, victory and health. I pray for God’s people around the world, who maybe sick or afflicted, that the healing power of God works through them, and their health is perfected, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

SUPERIOR TO SICKNESS AND DISEASE

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and IF THEY DRINK ANY DEADLY THING, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17-18).

The above scripture is extraordinary; it reveals something striking about you—the Christian—the new creation: you’re superior to sickness, disease, and infirmities. You have a life that can’t be infected by any disease pathogen. You can’t be poisoned or destroyed. It makes no difference that you were told that a certain poison or virus has gotten into your system; it shall have no power over you. In Luke 10:19, Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” This is either true or false, but thank God it’s true!

Live with the consciousness that you’re a partaker of the divine nature. Don’t join the bandwagon of those who are flustered and rattled by the spread of infectious diseases; the life in you is divine; it’s not sustained by blood but by the Spirit of God who lives inside you: “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (Romans 8:11).

The foregoing verse isn’t a promise but a vital reality now that the Holy Spirit lives in you: He’s the life of your physical body. Maybe you’ve even been diagnosed with an incurable disease as you read this; declare the Word until the divine life in you gains the ascendancy. With faith in your heart, keep affirming, “The same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead lives in me and has invigorated my physical body. I have the life of God in me; that life destroys sickness and disease. I walk in divine health. I refuse to be sick!”

Christians are people who have come from death. They’re a different breed. That’s why the Bible says, “But ye are a chosen generation…” (1 Peter 2:9). The word “generation” is the same word for “breed.” You’re a special breed, superior to anything that’s of the devil.

Take charge of your life from the realm of the spirit and subdue your world and your environment. Even now, declare that you live victoriously through the Word, and by the Spirit, over and above sickness, disease and death. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
I walk in victory and dominion over Satan, the world, and its systems. Thank you, Father, for your divine life in me, and the power of your Word and the Holy Spirit to live triumphantly above sickness, disease and infirmities, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Nothing to Fear

“무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라 세상을 이기는 승리는 이것이니 우리의 믿음이니라”(요일 5:4)

오늘날 세상에는 부정적인 정보가 너무나 많으며 그것들은 말씀에 뿌리내리지 않은 사람들의 마음에 두려움을 심었습니다. 지금은 매우 위험한 시기일 수 있지만, 주 예수님은 누가복음 21:25-26에서 마지막 때에 일어날 여러 징후들에 대해 말씀하셨습니다. “… 땅에는 민족들이 혼란 중에 괴로워하며 바다와 파도가 표효하리라 이 땅에 앞으로 무슨 일이 일어날 것인가를 생각하면 사람들의 마음은 두려움으로 인하여 실신할 것이라…”(한글킹제임스)

예수님은 누가복음 18:8에서 진지하게 생각해봐야 할 질문을 하셨습니다. “…인자가 올 때 그가 세상에서 믿음을 찾아볼 수 있겠느냐?”(한글킹제임스) 당신은 주위의 환경이나 오늘날 세상에서 일어나는 일들과 상관없이 믿음 안에 굳게 서 있어야 합니다.

에베소서 6:16은 말합니다. “모든 것 위에 믿음의 방패를 가지고 이로써 능히 악한 자의 모든 불화살을 소멸하고” 당신의 믿음의 방패를 가지고서, 당신은 (일부가 아니라) 적의 모든 불화살을 무력화시킬 수 있습니다. 주 예수님은 이미 마귀의 일을 멸하셨습니다(요일 3:8). 그분은 사단을 무력화하셨고 그의 일들을 무너뜨리셨으며, 지옥에 있는 그와 그의 졸개들을 구경거리로 삼으셨습니다(골 2:15).

오늘날 사단과 어둠의 세력들은 당신의 발 아래 있습니다. 그러므로 당신은 아무것도 두려워할 필요가 없습니다. 당신 주위에서 일어나는 일들과 상관없이 믿음 안에서 말씀을 말하십시오.

NOTHING TO FEAR

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).

 

There’s so much negative information in the world today and this has instilled fear in the hearts of those who aren’t rooted and grounded in the Word. These may indeed be perilous times, but the Lord Jesus referred to this in Luke 21:25-26 in describing some of the signs of the end of the age.

He said, “…There shall be…distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth….” In Luke 18:8, He asked a thought-provoking question: “…when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” You’re to stand your ground in faith, irrespective of the circumstances around you, and happenings in the world today.

The Word says in Ephesians 6:16, “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” With your shield of faith, you have the ability to neutralize ALL (not some) of the fiery darts of the enemy. The Lord Jesus already destroyed the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). He paralyzed Satan, demolished his works, and made an open spectacle of him and his demons in hell (Colossians 2:15).

Today, Satan and the powers of darkness are under your feet; therefore, you have nothing to fear. Irrespective of what happens around you, speak the Word in faith.

PRAYER
My faith is the victory that overcomes sickness, disease and infirmities. The divine life in me makes me superior and unsusceptible to any kind of virus or infection. I walk in dominion over sickness and the debilitating elements of this world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

It’s About Words

“네 말로 의롭다 함을 받고 네 말로 정죄함을 받으리라”(마 12:37)

일부 그리스도인들이 영적인 탁월함과 영광을 실제로 경험하지 못하는 주된 이유는 말의 중요성을 제대로 이해하지 못했기 때문입니다. 그들은 거듭난 지 오래 되었는데도 여전히 삶의 많은 영역에서 어려움을 겪습니다. 그들은 그리스도인의 삶에 관한 기본 원리들을 이해하지 못하기 때문에 수년간 그리스도인의 삶을 살기 위해 고군분투하다가 결국 포기하고 맙니다. 그리스도인의 삶은 말에 달렸습니다!

우리는 말을 통해 새로운 피조물의 실재 안에서 기능합니다. 이것은 앞서 우리가 구원을 얻을 수 있게 한 영적 원리입니다. “네가 만일 네 입으로 예수를 주로 시인하며 또 하나님께서 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 받으리라 사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라”(롬 10:9-10)

오직 예수의 주되심에 대한 우리의 믿음을 말할 때에만 우리의 구원은 실제가 됩니다. 구원은 그리스도 안에서의 모든 축복의 시작이며, 이 원리가 구원에 적용된다면 그리스도 안에 있는 다른 모든 것에 대해서도 적용될 것입니다.

예수님은 이 땅에서 사역하셨을 때 완전한 성공 그 자체이셨습니다. 예수님은 아버지의 말씀을 말하셨고 그 말씀 안에서 사셨기 때문입니다. 그분은 요한복음 12:49에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 내 자의로 말한 것이 아니요 나를 보내신 아버지께서 내가 말할 것과 이를 것을 친히 명령하여 주셨으니” 히브리서 13:5-6에서도 동일한 원리를 언급하고 있습니다. “돈을 사랑하지 말고 있는 바를 족한 줄로 알라 그가 친히 말씀하시기를 내가 결코 너희를 버리지 아니하고 너희를 떠나지 아니하리라 하셨느니라 그러므로 우리가 담대히 말하되 주는 나를 돕는 이시니 내가 무서워하지 아니하겠노라 사람이 내게 어찌하리요 하노라”

이 말씀은 우리가 말씀의 자녀이므로 우리의 고백이 하나님의 말씀과 일치해야 한다는 것을 의미합니다. 우리는 말씀으로 살아갑니다. 본문 구절에서 예수님께서 하신 말씀을 기억하십시오. “네 말로 의롭다 함을 받고 네 말로 정죄함을 받으리라” 모든 것은 당신의 입을 통해 나오는 바른 말들에 달려있습니다.

고백
나는 온전하고 믿음 충만한 말을 통해 승리하는 삶과 복된 미래를 창조합니다. 나는 나와 관련된 모든 것이 하나님의 신성한 공급과 운명에 일치하도록 내 삶과 미래를 지어갑니다. 나는 요동하지 않고 믿음의 고백을 굳게 붙잡습니다. 나는 신성한 건강, 초자연적인 풍성함, 지속적인 승리와 번영 안에 살고 있음을 선포합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

IT’S ABOUT WORDS

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:37).

A major reason some Christians have never really enjoyed the spiritual splendour and glory of Christianity is that they’ve never truly understood the importance of words. Even though they’ve been born again for long, they’ve struggled for the most part. Some eventually give up after many years of struggling to live the Christian life because they don’t understand the foundational principle of the Christian life. It’s about words!

We function in the realities of the new creation through words. This is the spiritual principle that makes salvation possible in the first place: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).

Our salvation is only activated when we vocalize our faith in the Lordship of Jesus. Salvation is the beginning of all the blessings in Christ; and if this principle works for salvation, it’ll work for everything else in Christ.

The Lord Jesus, during His earthly ministry, was an absolute success because He spoke the Father’s words and lived in them. In John 12:49, He said, “For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.” Hebrews 13:5-6 makes reference to the same principle. It says, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

The foregoing scriptures imply that our confessions should be in accordance with the Word of God, because we’re children of the Word. We live by words.
Recall the words of Jesus in our opening verse: “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” It’s about your words: the right words coming out of your lips.

CONFESSION
Through my wholesome, faith-filled words, I create a triumphant life and blessed future; I shape my life and future to align with God’s divine provisions and destiny for me and all that concerns me. I hold fast to the profession of faith without wavering. I declare that I live in divine health, supernatural abundance, and in continual victory and prosperity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
