인정받는 자가 되기 위해 공부하십시오

“너는 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분별하며 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라”(딤후2:15)
다니엘은 당대에 뛰어난 영향력을 미쳤습니다. 성경은 다니엘이 공부를 열심히 했다고 말합니다. 그는 다니엘 9:2에서 말했습니다. “곧 그 통치 원년에 나 다니엘이 책을 통해 여호와께서 말씀으로 선지자 예레미야에게 알려 주신 그 연수를 깨달았나니 곧 예루살렘의 황폐함이 칠십 년만에 그치리라 하신 것이니라”
다니엘은 공부를 매우 열심히 했고, 포로 생활 70년에 대한 예레미야의 예언에 특별히 주목했습니다. 다니엘 1:3-4은 왕이 그의 왕국의 일을 다스릴 “모든 학문에서 능숙한” 사람이 필요했다고 기록합니다. 그리고 다니엘이 이 자격을 탁월하게 갖춘 것으로 드러났습니다.
다니엘은 주님께 높이 평가되었습니다. 신약에서 예수님도 다니엘을 인용하며 그(다니엘)의 예언을 확증하셨습니다. “그러므로 너희가 선지자 다니엘이 말한 바 멸망의 가증한 것이…”(마24:15).
우리는 바울에게서도 동일한 자질을 확인할 수 있습니다. 사도 바울도 공부를 좋아했습니다. 디모데후서 4:13에서 바울이 디모데에게 말했을 때 그의 공부 자료에 대한 애착을 엿볼 수 있습니다. “네가 올 때에 내가 드로아 가보의 집에 둔 겉옷을 가지고 오고 또 책은 특별히 가죽 종이에 쓴 것을 가져오라.” 바울은 성실한 학생이었기 때문에 자신의 공부 자료를 가져오라고 특별히 요청했습니다.
다니엘과 바울이 공부에 열중했다면, 당신도 그래야 하지 않겠습니까? 당신은 부끄러울 것이 없고 오직 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분별하는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 보이기 위해 공부해야 합니다. 하나님은 호세아 4:6에서 말씀하셨습니다. “내 백성이 지식이 없으므로 망하는도다…” 여기서 말씀하신 지식은 말씀에 대한 지식입니다. 당신 스스로 말씀을 알지 못한다면 말씀을 알기 전까지 당신은 삶에서 피해자로 살아갈 수 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 하나님은 당신이 공부하기를 원하십니다. 말씀에 자신을 내어드리십시오. 그러면 당신의 성공, 전진, 번영은 자연스러운 결과일 것입니다.
고백
나는 하나님의 말씀을 열심히 공부합니다. 그러므로 나는 성공에 성공을 쌓고, 승리하며 살고, 신성한 건강 속에 살고, 매일 승리합니다! 하나님의 말씀에 대한 지식을 통해 나는 주님을 위해 내 세상에 뛰어난 영향력을 끼칩니다. 나는 많은 사람들을 신성한 실재에 대한 무지와 부족으로부터 하나님의 아들들의 영광스러운 자유로 인도합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”(2 Timothy 2:15).
Daniel made outstanding impacts in his day. The Scripture shows us he was studious. In Daniel 9:2, he said, “In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem” (Daniel 9:2).
Daniel was so studious he gave special attention to Jeremiah’s prophecy of the seventy years of the captivity. In Daniel 1:3-4 (NLT), the Bible shows us the King needed people who were “well versed in every branch of learning” to pilot the affairs of his kingdom, and Daniel was found to be eminently qualified.
Daniel was highly esteemed of the Lord. In the New Testament, Jesus also quoted him (Daniel) and corroborated his prophecy when He said, “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet…” (Matthew 24:15).
We find the same quality with Paul the Apostle. Paul was studious. In 2 Timothy 4:13, we see his attachment to his study materials when he said to Timothy, “The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.” He specially requested for his study materials to be sent to him, because he was a diligent student.
If Daniel and Paul were studious, why won’t you? You must study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, but rightly dividing the word of truth. In Hosea 4:6, God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….” He was referring to the knowledge of the Word. Until and unless you know the Word for yourself, you’re going to be a victim in life. That’s why God wants you to study. Give yourself to the Word and your success, progress and prosperity will be inevitable.
CONFESSION
I’m given to voracious study of the Word of God; therefore, I heap success upon success, living victoriously, walking in divine health, and winning every day! Through my knowledge of the Word of God, I make outstanding impact for the Lord in my world, bringing many out of ignorance and dearth of divine realities, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
