예언을 받으십시오
Receiving Prophecies
“아들 디모데야, 전에 그대에게 주어진 예언을 따라 내가 그대에게 이렇게 명령한다. 그대는 그 예언을 따라 선한 싸움을 싸우고”(딤전 1:18, 우리말성경)
하나님의 영은 오늘의 본문 구절을 통해 디모데에게 그가 받은 예언을 따라 선한 싸움을 싸우라고 권고합니다. 이 구절은 하나님의 말씀이므로 디모데에게만 적용되는 것이 아니라 당신에게도 적용되는 말씀입니다. 당신에 관해 성경에 기록된 내용들을 포함하여 당신에게 주어진 예언들로 그 동안 어떤 일들을 행했습니까?
성경은 새로운 피조물에 대한 축복의 말들과 예언들로 가득합니다. 그 말씀들을 진지하게 받아들이십시오. 그 말씀들을 당신의 믿음의 싸움에 사용하십시오. 어떤 사람들은 “아무도 저에게 예언해 주는 사람이 없었습니다.”라고 말합니다. 그렇다면 스스로 예언하십시오! 하나님은 교회 안에 있는 우리 모두가 예언의 은사를 갈망해야 한다고 말씀하셨습니다. 예언의 은사는 교회 안에서 정말 중요한 은사이기 때문입니다(고전 14:39).
성경은 예언이 교회를 세운다고 말합니다. 그리고 당신은 교회의 일원입니다. 그러므로 만일 무엇이든 그것이 교회를 세운다면, 마찬가지로 당신도 세웁니다. 교회에 예언의 말씀이 주어질 때 그 말씀을 받아서 자신의 것으로 삼으십시오.
때때로 찬양단이 사역하거나 사역자가 말씀을 전하거나 가르치는 중에 당신에게 말씀이 임할 때가 있습니다. 하나님은 항상 우리 각자에게 말씀하시기 때문에 그 말씀은 당신의 영에 임할 수 있습니다. 그분이 어디 계시는지 잊지 마십시오. 그분은 당신 안에 살고 계십니다. 당신이 영 안에서 기도하고 그분께 듣는다면 예언적인 말씀이 당신의 영에 임할 것입니다.
당신이 교회에서 받는 예언뿐만 아니라 기록된 말씀인 성경에도 예언들이 가득합니다. 개인적으로 시간을 내어 당신에게 권면해 줄 성경을 펴고 스스로 말씀을 읽기 시작하십시오. 시편에는 많은 훈계와 예언이 있습니다.
성경을 큰 소리로 읽으며 말씀에 당신의 영을 집중하고, 말씀을 신뢰하고 믿으십시오. 그러면 당신의 영은 즉시 당신이 읽고 있는 말씀의 저자인 하나님의 영과 일치되어 그분께 말씀을 받고, 당신은 계속해서 예언하게 될 것입니다. 예언은 하나님의 초자연적인 능력이 나타나게 하는 방법입니다.
고백
지금 내가 방언으로 기도할 때 예언의 은사가 나에게 강하게 임합니다. 나의 삶과 내가 하는 일에 하나님의 지혜와 그분의 영광이 분명히 나타남을 선포합니다. 그분의 의가 전 세계 사람들의 심령에 세워집니다. 그리고 복음의 진리를 통해 구원, 치유와 건강, 번영과 성공, 구출, 완전함, 보호, 평안, 기쁨이 이 땅의 모든 민족에게 전파됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

RECEIVING PROPHECIES
This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare (1 Timothy 1:18).
I n our theme verse, the Spirit of God admonishes Timothy to war a good warfare with the prophecies spoken concerning him. Since this is God’s Word, it then means it’s not peculiar to Timothy; it applies to you just as much. What have you done with all the prophecies that have been spoken over you, including the ones written concerning you in the Scriptures?
The Scriptures are replete with words of blessings and prophecies concerning the new creation; take them seriously. Use them in your fight of faith. Some have said, “You know, I’ve never really had anyone prophesy to me”; then prophesy to yourself! God said every one of us in the Church should covet the gift of prophecy, because it’s such an important gift in the Church (1 Corinthians 14:39).
The Bible says prophecy edifies the Church, and you’re a member of the Church. So, if anything edifies the Church, it should edify you. So, when there’s a word of prophecy in the church, receive it and personalize it.
Sometimes, the word can come to you in a song while the choir is ministering, or while the preacher is preaching or teaching. It can come to you in your own spirit, because God is talking all the time to each one of us. Don’t forget where He is?He lives in you. If you pray and listen to Him in your spirit, the prophetic word will come to your spirit.
Besides the prophecies you receive in the church, the written word?the Bible? is full of prophecies.
Get into your privacy, open a portion of the Bible that’ll exhort you, and begin to read the scriptures out to yourself. The Psalms have a lot of exhortation and prophecies. As you read them aloud, put your spirit with it; trust and believe the Word. Your spirit will immediately be in sync with the Spirit of God that authored the Word that you’re reading, and pick up words from the author of the writings and you’ll continue to prophesy. Prophecy is one of the ways to bring the supernatural power of God into manifestation.
CONFESSION
As I speak in tongues now, the grace to prophesy comes on me strong; I declare that the wisdom of God and His glory are evident in my life and in all that I do. His righteousness is established in the hearts of men around the world; and through the truth of the Gospel, salvation, healing and health, prosperity and success, deliverance, wholeness, preservation, peace and joy spread in the nations of the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
