He’s Chosen To Favour You
“여호와께서 이르시되… 나는 은혜 베풀 자에게 은혜를 베풀고 긍휼히 여길 자에게 긍휼을 베푸느니라”(출 33:19)
주님은 정말 대단하십니다. 그분께서 당신을 축복하시고 은혜를 베푸시기로 선택하셨을 때, 그 무엇도 혹은 그리고 누구도 그것을 막을 수 없습니다. 다윗은 이것에 대해 알고 이렇게 말했습니다. “그러나 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께서 전에 나를 내 부친의 온 집에서 택하여 영원히 이스라엘 왕이 되게 하셨나니 곧 하나님이 유다 지파를 택하사 머리를 삼으시고 유다의 가문에서 내 부친의 집을 택하시고 내 부친의 아들들 중에서 나를 기뻐하사 온 이스라엘의 왕을 삼으셨느니라”(대상 28:4)
주님께서 다윗을 그의 가족 중에서 선택하셨지만 다윗은 그에 대해 자신이 한 일은 없습니다. 다윗은 장남도 아니고 차남도 아니었습니다. 그러나 주님은 다윗을 사랑하셨고 그를 선택하셨습니다. 하나님은 바뀌지 않으셨습니다. 그분은 오늘도 여전히 사람들에게 은혜를 베풀기로 선택하시며, 당신에게 은혜를 베풀기로 선택하셨습니다. 그 누구도 그분의 선택에 의문을 제기할 수 없습니다.
시편 102:13은 말합니다. “주께서 일어나사 시온을 긍휼히 여기시리니 지금은 그에게 은혜를 베푸실 때라 정한 기한이 다가옴이니이다” 이는 하나님의 선택일 뿐 아니라 하나님께서 당신에게 은혜를 베풀기로 정하신 때이기도 합니다. 이를 믿으십시오. 바울은 디모데에게 편지하면서 이렇게 말했습니다. “내 아들아 그러므로 너는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 은혜 가운데서 강하고”(딤후 2:1)
그것이 바로 당신이 해야 할 일입니다. 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 은혜를 활용하십시오. 그분은 당신을 좋아하시고 당신에게 호의를 갖고 계십니다. 이 사실을 의식하십시오. 당신은 자신이 갈망하는 직업이나 승진을 얻을 수 있습니다. 당신은 자신의 몸에 있는 질병을 꾸짖을 수 있습니다. 성경은 그것이 그분의 은혜로 말미암은 것이지 행위에서 난 것이 아니므로 누구도 자랑할 수 없다고 말합니다(엡 2:8-9).
당신이 지금 필요로 하는 것이 무엇이든지 그것에 대한 당신을 향한 하나님의 은혜가 있습니다. “하나님께서 능히 모든 은혜를 너희에게 넘치게 하시나니 이것은 너희가 항상 모든 일에서 모든 것이 넉넉하여 모든 선한 일을 풍성히 하게 하려 하심이라.”(고후 9:8)
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 나를 사랑하시고 나에게 은혜를 베풀기로 선택해 주셔서 감사드립니다. 나를 향한 아버지의 비할 데 없는 사랑은 아버지께서 나를 창조하신 대로 내가 성공이 되기 위해 필요한 담대함과 확신을 줍니다. 나는 아버지의 위대한 은혜의 유익을 누리고 다른 사람들을 이 지식으로 인도합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE’S CHOSEN TO FAVOUR YOU
“And God said … I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy and loving-kindness on whom I will show mercy and loving-kindness” (Exodus 33:19 AMPC).
Isn’t the Lord wonderful? When He chooses to bless and favour you there’s nothing anybody can do about it. David recognised this and said, “Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel” (1 Chronicles 28:4).
The Lord chose David above all his family members, yet David had nothing to do with it. He wasn’t the first son, neither was he the second, but the Lord loved him and chose him. God hasn’t changed; He still chooses to favour people today, and He’s chosen to favour you. It’s nobody’s job to question His choice.
Psalm 102:13 says, “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.” Not only is it God’s choice, it’s also His set time to favour you. Believe this. Paul, writing to Timothy, said: “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1).
That’s what you ought to do; take advantage of the grace that’s in Christ Jesus. He likes you and is favourably disposed towards you; be conscious of it. You can get that job or promotion that you desire. You can rebuke that ailment from your body. The Bible says it’s by His grace, not of works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
There’s grace for you from God for whatever you require right now: “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for loving me and for choosing to favour me. Your matchless love for me gives me the required boldness and confidence to be the success you created me to be. I take advantage of your great grace and lead others into this knowledge, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
