We Hail From Deity

“자녀 된 이 여러분, 여러분은 하나님에게서 난 사람들이며, 여러분은 그 거짓 예언자들을 이겼습니다. 여러분 안에 계신 분이 세상에 있는 자보다 크시기 때문입니다.”(요일 4:4, 새번역)

오늘의 본문 구절에 나오는 “하나님에게서 난 사람”에 대한 오해가 있습니다. 어떤 사람들은 이를 “하나님의 편에 서다”라는 뜻으로 생각하지만, 그것은 맞지 않습니다. 사도 요한의 해석은 어떤 면에서도 모호하지 않으며 이 구절의 뜻은 누구의 편이 되는 것이 아닙니다. 이는 단순히 당신이 신성으로부터 왔다는 의미입니다. 즉, 당신의 기원이 하나님께 있다는 것입니다. 당신은 하나님의 자녀입니다.

야고보서 1:18에서 말하는 내용과 매우 가깝습니다. “그가 그 피조물 중에 우리로 한 첫 열매가 되게 하시려고 자기의 뜻을 따라 진리의 말씀으로 우리를 낳으셨느니라” 하나님으로부터 태어나려면 그리스도가 반드시 당신 안에 계셔야 합니다. 그리스도가 당신 안에 계시려면 당신은 반드시 그분을 영접해야 합니다.

요한복음 3:3에 나오는 예수님의 말씀을 기억하십시오. “… 진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 사람이 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라를 볼 수 없느니라” 오늘의 본문 구절의 후반부는 이 말씀에 대한 신빙성을 줍니다. “… 여러분 안에 계신 분이 세상에 있는 자보다 크시기 때문입니다.” 따라서 그분은 당신 안에 계셔야 하신 것입니다. 그분이 당신 안에 살기 위해 당신을 낳으셨다는 사실에 대해 생각해 보십시오.

성경은 말합니다. “너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”(골 1:27) 당신 안에 사시는 더 크신 분으로 말미암아 당신은 모든 어둠의 세력과 악을 조장하는 악한 영들에 대한 완전한 승리를 거둡니다.

확대번역본이 이 구절을 얼마나 아름답게 표현했는지 보십시오. “자녀들아 너희는 하나님에게서 났고 [너희는 하나님께 속하였느니라] 그들[적그리스도의 대리자들]을 [이미] 패배시키고 승리했나니 이는 너희 안에 사시는 분이 더 크시기(강하기) 때문이라.” 하나님을 찬양합니다!

WE HAIL FROM DEITY

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

There’s a misconception of the meaning of the phrase, “Ye are of God” in the verse above. To some, it means “to be on God’s side,” but that’s not correct. The Apostle John’s construction isn’t in any way ambiguous, so it isn’t about being on anyone’s side. It simply means you hail from Deity. In other words, your origin is in God; you’re His offspring.

It’s akin to what the Bible says in James 1:18; it says, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” To hail from God, therefore, Christ must be in you; you must receive Him to live in you.

Recall the words of the Lord Jesus in John 3:3, “…Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The concluding phrase of our opening verse gives credence to this; it says, “…greater is He that is in you”; so, He has to be in you. Think about it: He gave birth to you to live in you!

The Bible says, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossian 1:27). You have absolute victory over all forces of darkness and the wicked spirits that orchestrate evil because of the greater One that lives in you.

Read how beautifully the AMPC renders our opening verse: “Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.” Praise God!

You have overcome the adversary and their nefarious and sinister plans to cause untold hardship, troubles, sorrows, distresses and corrupting influences in the world because you hail from Deity! Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Dear Father, I boldly proclaim that I have overcome all the forces of darkness and wicked spirits that orchestrate evil plans in the world because I hail from God, and the greater One lives in me. I have overcome the sorrows, distresses and corrupting influences in the world. I’m victorious always in Christ Jesus, Amen.

사도 요한은 우리가 믿음을 사용하여 세상을 이기기 위해 노력하거나 시도하고 있다고 말하지 않습니다. 아닙니다! 교회는 하나님으로부터 났습니다. 당신은 하나님으로부터 났습니다. 성경은 하나님으로부터 났습니다. 그리고 오늘의 본문 구절은 “무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라”고 말합니다.

주 예수님은 요한복음 16:33에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “이것을 너희에게 이르는 것은 너희로 내 안에서 평안을 누리게 하려 함이라 세상에서는 너희가 환난을 당하나 담대하라 내가 세상을 이기었노라” 예수님이 우리를 위해 세상을 이기셨다면 우리는 세상을 이기기 위해 다시 “노력”할 필요가 없습니다.

예수님의 승리에 대한 우리의 믿음은 세상을 정복하려는 시도가 아닙니다. 오히려 우리를 위해 그분이 이루신 일을 인정하는 것입니다. 예수님은 이미 세상을 정복하셨습니다. 우리는 애쓰거나 “재정복”할 필요가 없습니다! 이 진리를 이해한다면 당신은 더욱 힘찬 발걸음을 내딛을 것입니다.

당신이 그리스도 예수 안에서 세상을 이겼다는 진리의 실재 가운데 계속 행하십시오. 이 세상 임금인 사탄은 당신 안에 그 무엇도 가지고 있지 않다고 자주 선포하십시오. 당신은 이 세상의 시스템과 경제를 정복했습니다. 할렐루야!

기도

DON’T STRIVE TO “RE-CONQUER”

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4).

Observe that the apostle John doesn’t say we are trying or attempting to use our faith to conquer the world, no! The Church is born of God. You are born of God. The Scriptures are born of God. And our theme verse says: “For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world….”

In John 16:33, the Lord Jesus said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” If He overcame the world for us, we don’t have to “try” to overcome the world again.

Our faith in His victory is not an attempt to conquer the world; rather, it’s a recognition of His finished work in our behalf. He already conquered the world. We don’t need to strive or “re-conquer”! An understanding of this truth will put springs in your steps.

Keep walking in the reality of the truth that you’ve conquered the world in Christ Jesus. Every so often, affirm that Satan, the prince of this world, has nothing in you. You’ve conquered the systems, economics and economies of this world. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the indestructible and unconquerable life of Christ in me. Irrespective of the challenges in the world today, my faith is the victory that conquers the world! Everything I am and represent exudes the finished works of Christ in my behalf. The greater One lives in me and I’m living the higher life in Christ. Hallelujah!

Preach The Triumphant Life

“항상 우리를 그리스도 안에서 이기게 하시고 우리로 말미암아 각처에서 그리스도를 아는 냄새를 나타내시는 하나님께 감사하노라”(고후 2:14)

우리가 승리의 삶, 즉 그리스도 안에 있는 구원이 우리에게 준 번영, 건강, 행복, 온전함에 대해 가르칠 때, 어떤 사람들은 진짜일 리가 없다고 생각합니다. 그들은 “글쎄요, 크리스 목사님은 사람들에게 좋은 삶을 약속하실 뿐입니다. 그들에게 환난이나 핍박이나 문제가 없을 것이라고 말하려는 것이죠.”

주님이 이미 승리의 삶을 주셨는데 왜 제가 우울한 삶을 말해야 합니까? 우리가 심한 핍박을 당할지라도 그분은 우리에게 “온전히 기쁘게 여기라”(약 1:2)고 하셨습니다. 왜 그렇습니까? 하늘이나 땅 위나 땅 아래 있는 어떤 것이나 어떤 사람도 우리에게 해를 끼칠 수 없기 때문입니다.

이 진리는 우리 삶에 있는 하나님의 은혜와 영광을 찬양하고 감사하는 가운데 우리를 지속해서 기쁘고 일관되게 해줍니다. 예를 들어, 욥을 떠올려 보십시오. 고통과 고난으로 인해 괴로운 기간에도 그는 “그분께서 나를 죽이실지라도 나는 그분을 신뢰할 것이요…”(욥 13:15, 한글흠정역)라고 말했습니다.

이사야 43:2은 말합니다. “네가 물 가운데로 지날 때에… 물이 너를 침몰하지 못할 것이며 네가 불 가운데로 지날 때에 타지도 아니할 것이요 불꽃이 너를 사르지도 못하리니” 주님은 우리가 어려움에 직면하지 않을 것이라고 결코 약속하지 않으셨지만, 우리의 승리는 불가피할 것이라고 확신하셨습니다.

고린도전서 15:57은 “우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리에게 승리를 주시는 하나님께 감사하노니”라고 말합니다. 이는 우리가 첫 구절에서 읽은 내용과 유사합니다. 우리는 항상, 모든 곳에서, 모든 일에서 승리합니다

예수님은 누가복음 10:19에서 “내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권능을 주었으니 너희를 해칠 자가 결코 없으리라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 할렐루야! 우리가 그리스도 안에서 소유한 생명은 초월적인 생명입니다. 우리는 이 생명을 믿습니다. 우리는 이 생명으로 살며, 하나님은 이 생명에 대해 전하고 가르치도록 우리를 보내셨습니다.

기도

은혜로우신 아버지, 나를 승리하고, 영광스럽고, 놀라운 삶으로 불러주시니 감사합니다. 그 삶은 아픔, 질병, 가난, 실패, 죽음을 뛰어넘는 승리의 삶입니다. 나는 오늘 이 부르심에 합당하게 행하며 내 안에 역사하는 아버지의 신성한 능력을 온전히 활용합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

PREACH THE TRIUMPHANT LIFE

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” (2 Corinthians 2:14).

When we teach about the triumphant life—the prosperity, health, wellness and wholeness that salvation in Christ brought to us, some people think it’s too good to be true. They say, “Well, Pastor Chris just promises them a good life, trying to tell them there’s no hardship, no persecution, and no problem.”

Why should I proclaim the gloom life when the Lord already gave us the victorious life? Even when we go through severe persecutions—He tells us to, “Count it all joy” (James 1:2). Why? It’s because nothing and no one, whether in heaven, on earth or under the earth, can work to our disadvantage.

This keeps us joyful and consistent in our praise and appreciation of God’s grace and glory in our lives. Think about Job, for example; during a distressing period of agony and affliction in his life, he said, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him…” (Job 13:15).

Isaiah 43:2 says, “When thou passest through the waters…they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” The Lord never promised that we wouldn’t face challenges, but He assured us that our victories would be inevitable.

1 Corinthians 15:57 says, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” It parallels what we read in our opening verse. We’re victorious ALWAYS, in every place and in all things.

Study about our Lord Jesus, when He walked the earth; He was victorious in all things. He lived in absolute glory and dominion, and passed the same mentality to His disciples. Once He said to them, “…in the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

In Luke 10:19, He said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Hallelujah! What we have in Christ is the transcendent life. That’s what we believe; that’s what we live, and that’s what He sent us to preach and teach.

PRAYER

Gracious Father, I thank you for the victorious, glorious, and magnificent life you’ve called me into; a triumphant life above sickness, disease, poverty, failure and death. I walk worthy of this calling today, fully taking advantage of your divine power at work in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Your Personal Study Of The Word

“이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된 대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄하게 될 것이며 네가 형통하리라”(수 1:8)

하나님의 말씀의 신성한 계시가 당신에게 열릴 때, 그 말씀은 당신을 다음 단계의 영광으로 이끕니다. 진리가 당신의 영을 밝히는 순간 말씀이 당신의 영 안에서 역사합니다. 하나님이 말씀하신 바를 알고 동의할 때 그 일이 일어납니다. 하나님이 무슨 말씀을 하셨는지 모른다면 어떻게 그분께 동의할 수 있겠습니까?

그렇기 때문에 말씀을 공부하는 일에 대한 강한 갈망이 필요합니다. 당신이 “자신이 갖고 있는 티켓을 실제화”하는 이 속량의 해에 하나님의 말씀을 더욱 알아가십시오. 기억하십시오. 이 티켓은 하나님의 진리, 곧 당신에 관한 하나님의 말씀입니다. 당신은 이 말씀을 믿음으로 선포해야 합니다.

성경은 말합니다. “갓난 아기들 같이 순전하고 신령한 젖을 사모하라 이는 그로 말미암아 너희로 구원에 이르도록 자라게 하려 함이라 너희가 주의 인자하심을 맛보았으면 그리하라”(벧전 2:2-3) 주 예수님이 그분을 믿은 유대인들에게 하신 말씀을 읽어보십시오. “… 너희가 내 말에 거하면 참으로 내 제자가 되고 진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라”(요 8:31-32)

주님은 그들에게 말씀에 거하라고 권면하셨습니다. 이는 하나님의 말씀에 대한 지식에 만족하지 않는 갈망을 갖는 것을 뜻합니다. 우리는 말씀을 통해 우리의 마음을 새롭게 하고, 믿음과 성품을 세웁니다.

사도 바울은 “네가 진리의 말씀을 올바르게 분석하고 나누어 [바르게 다루며 능숙하게 가르치는] 하나님 앞에 부끄럽지 않은 일꾼으로 (시련으로 시험받은) 인정받도록 공부하고, 열심을 다하고, 힘을 다하라.”(딤후 2:15, 확대번역본)고 말합니다.

주 예수님은 요한복음 5:39에서 “성경을 연구하거니와…”라고 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님의 말씀은 하나님의 생각을 나타내고 있습니다. 그분의 뜻이 우리를 위해 기록되고 표현되었습니다. 자신을 위해 하나님의 말씀을 공부하십시오. 하나님의 말씀을 이해하고, 말하고, 말씀에 따라 사십시오.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 그리스도인의 삶의 필수 요소인 하나님의 말씀에 대한 개인적인 공부의 중요성을 알려주시니 감사합니다. 오늘 말씀을 공부하고 묵상할 때, 나는 내 삶을 향한 아버지의 갈망과 계획을 성취할 수 있는 위치에 있고 나의 유익이 분명한 것에 감사드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YOUR PERSONAL STUDY OF THE WORD

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).

The Word of God takes you from one level of glory to another as you open up to its divine revelations. It works in you when the truth therein dawns on your spirit—when you know it and agree with God about what He said. But how can you agree with Him if you don’t know what He said?

That’s why you need to have a voracious appetite for study; get to know the Word, especially in this Year of Redemption, where you’re “cashing out your vouchers” for their actual value. Remember, those vouchers are God’s truths, His Word concerning you, which you have to proclaim by faith.

The Bible says, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious” (1 Peter 2:2-3). Read what the Lord Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32).

Notice that the Master’s admonition was for them to continue in His Word. That means having an insatiable appetite for the knowledge of God’s Word. Through the Word, we renew our minds, and build faith and character.

The Apostle Paul said, “Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth” (2 Timothy 2:15 AMPC).

The Lord Jesus said in John 5:39, “Search the scriptures….” The Word of God is the mind of God expressed—His will written and expressed for us. Study the Word of God for yourself; understand it, speak it, and live accordingly.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for showing me the importance of the personal study of your Word, a vital ingredient in my Christian walk. As I study and meditate on the Word today, I’m positioned to fulfil your desire and plan for my life, and my profiting is evident, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

더 구할 축복이 없습니다

No Blessings Left To Ask For

“하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지를 찬송하리로다. 그분께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘의 처소들에 있는 모든 영적인 복으로 우리에게 복을 주셨으니”(엡 1:3, 한글흠정역)

그리스도 안에 당신의 것이 아닌 천국의 축복은 더 이상 없다는 것을 알고 계셨습니까? 오늘의 본문 구절이 과거 시제로 쓰여졌음을 주목해 보십시오. “그분께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘의 처소들에 있는 모든 영적인 복으로 우리에게 복을 주셨으니” 또한 하나님이 당신에게 모든 영적인 복을 주셨다고 말합니다. 이는 당신이 더 이상 축복을 구할 필요가 없다는 의미입니다. 그분이 이미 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 모든 복을 당신에게 주셨기 때문입니다.

정말 놀라운 진리입니다. 그분이 이루 말할 수 없는 번영, 신성한 건강, 끝없는 기쁨, 승리, 초자연적인 힘, 성공, 당신이 상상할 수 있는 모든 축복으로 당신을 축복했다는 의미이기 때문입니다. 당신은 “그렇지만 그분은 영적인 복만 말씀하신 것이 아닙니까? 육신적인 복은 어떻습니까?”라고 질문할 수도 있습니다.

육신적인 복은 영적인 복에 포함됩니다. 작은 것이 큰 것에 포함되기 때문입니다. 다음에 대해 생각해 보십시오. 성경은 하나님이 영이시라고 말합니다. 창세기 1:1은 말합니다. “태초에 하나님이 천지를 창조하시니라”

영이신 하나님이 태초에 천지를 창조하셨다면 그분은 창조 전에 존재하셨다는 의미이고, 그분이 계신 곳은 영적인 영역이었을 것입니다. 따라서 그분이 소유하신 모든 복은 영적인 것이어야 합니다.

영적인 영역은 하늘과 땅이 있기 전에 존재했습니다. 그러므로 육신적인 혹은 물질적인 세상은 영적인 영역에서 나온 것입니다. 모든 물질적인 혹은 육신적인 복은 영적인 복 안에 있습니다. 당신이 하나님께 구하는 축복이 무엇이든지 그것은 하나님께서 이미 당신에게 주신 복에 포함되어 있습니다.

오늘날 당신은 더 많은 축복을 구할 필요가 없습니다. 이제 당신은 고린도전서 3:21-22에서 그분이 하신 말씀을 이해할 수 있을 것입니다. “그런즉 누구든지 사람을 자랑하지 말라 만물이 다 너희 것임이라 바울이나 아볼로나 게바나 세계나 생명이나 사망이나 지금 것이나 장래 것이나 다 너희의 것이요” 베드로는 동일한 진리를 베드로후서 1:3에서 “그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니…”라고 말했습니다.

고백

나는 그리스도 안에 있습니다. 그러므로 나는 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 영적인 복을 누립니다. 나는 번영, 건강, 기쁨, 힘, 온전함, 행복, 성공을 누립니다. 나는 그리스도 예수 안에서 찬양, 기쁨, 탁월함, 승리, 영광의 삶을 살도록 선택되고 미리 정해졌습니다. 할렐루야!

NO BLESSINGS LEFT TO ASK FOR

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesian 1:3).

Did you know that there’re no more blessings in heaven that aren’t already yours in Christ? Notice the past tenses in what we just read; it says, “God has blessed us with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” Also notice that it says He’s blessed you with spiritual blessings, which means you don’t have to ask for more blessings, as He’s already blessed you with ALL the blessings that exist in Christ Jesus.

This is remarkable because it means He’s blessed you with untold prosperity, divine health, unending joy, victories, supernatural strength, success, and any and every blessing you can imagine. You may say, “But He only mentioned spiritual blessings; how about the physical blessings?”

The physical blessings are all included in the spiritual blessings. The lesser is included in the greater. Think about it like this: The Bible says God is a Spirit. Then in Genesis 1:1, it says, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

Now, if God, who is a Spirit, created the heavens and the earth in the beginning, it means He pre-existed the beginning, and that He must dwell in the realms of the spirit. Therefore, all the blessings He has must be spiritual.

The realm of the spirit pre-existed the heavens and the earth. So, the physical or the material world came out of that realm. All other blessings—material or physical—are inside spiritual blessings. Whatever you would have asked of God is included in what He’s already blessed you with.

So, today, there’s no need to ask Him for more blessings. Now you can understand why He said in 1 Corinthians 3:21-22, “For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours.” Peter echoes the same truth in 2 Peter 1:3, saying, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness….”

CONFESSION

I’m in Christ, therefore, I enjoy all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ; I enjoy prosperity, health, joy, strength, wholeness, wellness, and success. I’ve been chosen and ordained for a life of praise, joy, excellence, victory, and glory in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

기독교는 본질적으로 오늘의 본문 구절에서 밑줄 친 구문으로 요약할 수 있습니다. 기독교는 당신 안에 계신 그리스도입니다. 그리스도께서 당신 안에 거하신다는 계시는 기독교 신앙의 핵심입니다.

우리와 하나님의 신성한 연합과 연결은 요한복음 17:23에 나오는 주 예수님이 아버지께 하는 기도에 묘사되어 있습니다. “곧 내가 그들 안에 있고 아버지께서 내 안에 계시어 그들로 온전함을 이루어 하나가 되게 하려 함은 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것과 또 나를 사랑하심 같이 그들도 사랑하신 것을 세상으로 알게 하려 함이로소이다”

이는 사도 바울이 고린도후서 5:19에서 말한 내용을 기억나게 합니다. “곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며 그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고 화목하게 하는 말씀을 우리에게 부탁하셨느니라” 생각해 보십시오. 하나님은 그리스도 안에 계셨고, 이제 그리스도는 당신 안에 계십니다. 즉, 하나님이 당신 안에 계신다는 뜻입니다. 정말 놀라운 진리입니다.

더욱이 성경은 “모든 사람이 죄를 범하였으매 하나님의 영광에 이르지 못하더니”(롬 3:23)라고 말합니다. 이 구절에서 말하는 하나님의 영광은 하나님의 임재입니다. 인간은 하나님 안에서, 그분의 임재 안에서 살았습니다. 하나님의 임재는 인간의 빛이었습니다. 그 연결 혹은 관계는 영광이었습니다. 그러나 인간은 죄로 인해 그 영광에서 끊어졌습니다.

그러나 로마서 3:23에서 잃었던 그 영광은 골로새서 1:27에 따라 오늘날 그리스도 예수 안에서 회복되었습니다. 아름다운 진리는 그 임재가 이제 당신 주변에 있는 것이 아니라 당신 안에 있다는 것입니다. 창세기에서 말한 것처럼 에덴 동산에서 들리던 목소리가 아니라, 이제 당신 안에서 들리는 음성입니다.

이제 우리는 우리 주변, 우리 가운데, 우리와 함께가 아닌 우리 안에 있는 그리스도로 인해 기뻐합니다! 당신이 그리스도를 영접했을 때, 당신의 삶에 영광이 들어왔습니다. 당신의 삶은 수치, 비난, 아픔, 질병, 실패, 가난으로부터 끊어졌습니다. 그리스도가 당신 안에 계시기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

기도

내 안에 계신 그리스도, 곧 영광의 소망이십니다! 그러므로 내 삶에는 영광, 온전함, 건강, 보호, 번영이 보장됩니다. 그리스도가 내 심령에 거처를 삼으셨고, 내 모든 존재, 내 몸의 모든 뼈, 내 피의 모든 세포 안에 그분의 임재가 충만하기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

THE CORE OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH

“Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:26-27).

Christianity, in its essence, can be encapsulated in our underlined words in the opening scripture: Christ in You. The revelation that Christ resides within you forms the core of the Christian Faith.

This divine union and interconnectedness between us and God is described by the Lord Jesus in His prayer to the Father in John 17:23. He said, “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.”

It also brings to mind what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:19: “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” Think about that; God was in Christ, and now Christ is in you; that means God is in you. This is amazing.

Furthermore, the Bible says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). The glory of God being referred to here is the presence of God. Man lived in God, in His presence; God’s presence was his light. That connection, that relationship, was the glory. Then because of sin, man was cut off from that glory.

But today, in Christ Jesus, that glory that was lost in Romans 3:23 has been regained according to Colossians 1:27. The beautiful thing is, that presence is not just around you; it’s in you now. It’s not just a voice walking in the Garden as in the Book of Genesis; that voice is now in you.

Now we can rejoice, because it’s not Christ around you, amongst you, or with you, but Christ in you! When you received Christ, the glory came into your life. Your life is severed from shame, reproach, sickness, disease, failure, and poverty because Christ is in you. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Christ in me, the hope of glory! Therefore, glory, wholeness, health, preservation, and prosperity are guaranteed in my life because Christ has come to live in the very quarters of my heart, making every fibre of my being, every bone of my body, and every cell of my blood inundated with his presence. Hallelujah!

A Divine Relationship

“주와 합하는 자는 한 영이니라”(고전 6:17)

기독교에도 일부 종교적인 활동이나 관습이 있을 수 있지만, 기독교는 본질적으로 종교가 아닌 관계입니다. 이 차이를 이해하기 위해서 부모와 자녀 사이의 관계를 생각해 보십시오. 이런 가족 관계는 종교적인 규칙을 지키는 것으로 정의되는 것이 아니라, 개인적이고 친밀한 관계에 근거합니다.

이것이 바로 예수님이 오신 이유입니다. 그분은 우리를 종교를 넘어 하나님과의 관계 안으로 인도해 주시기 위해 오셨습니다. 예수님이 오시기 전, 많은 종교가 존재했습니다. 그러나 예수님은 무언가 다른 것을 가져오셨습니다. 바로 하나님과의 관계입니다!

예수님이 하나님을 “아버지”라고 부르셨을 때 유대인들은 놀랐습니다. “누가 하나님을 아버지라 부를 수 있는가?” 예수님은 하나님과 가족 관계이므로 하나님을 아버지라 부르셨습니다. 그 관계는 아버지와 아들의 관계였습니다.

하나님을 아버지로 부르는 것은 유대인들에게 낯설고 당혹스러운 일이었습니다. 예수님은 요한복음 10:30에서 “나와 아버지는 하나이니라”고 말씀하시며 이 신성한 관계의 본질에 대해 강조하셨습니다. 예수님은 하나님과 동일한 생명을 가지고 계셨습니다. 요한복음 1:14은 예수님이 육신이 되어 거하신 하나님이라고 말합니다.

유대인들은 그 말을 참을 수 없었습니다. 예수님이 더 나아가 그 관계에 대해 설명하려고 하자 그들은 그분을 죽이려고 했습니다. 그러나 하나님께 감사드립니다. 예수님의 죽음, 장사됨, 부활을 통해 우리는 동일하게 하나님과 하나가 되었습니다. 우리는 아버지와 신성한 관계를 맺게 되었습니다!

이제 우리는 하나님을 하늘에 계신 아버지라 부를 수 있습니다. 이는 그 어떤 종교에서도 가능하지 않은 일입니다. 요한일서 3:1은 말합니다. “보라 아버지께서 어떠한 사랑을 우리에게 베푸사 하나님의 자녀라 일컬음을 받게 하셨는가…” 또한 갈라디아서 4:6은 말합니다. “너희가 아들이므로 하나님이 그 아들의 영을 우리 마음 가운데 보내사 아빠 아버지라 부르게 하셨느니라” 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 예수 그리스도를 통해 아버지께 갈 수 있게 해주셔서 감사합니다. 그리스도는 내 안에 살아 계십니다! 나는 평범하지 않습니다. 하나님과의 교제 안으로 부름 받았기 때문입니다. 따라서 나는 날마다 그리스도의 빛나는 생명을 나타내며, 아픔, 질병, 실패, 결핍, 마귀에서 난 모든 것에 대해 통치권을 행사합니다. 할렐루야!

A DIVINE RELATIONSHIP

“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

While there may be some religious activities or practices in Christianity, Christianity fundamentally distinguishes itself as a relationship rather than a religion. To grasp the distinction, consider the relationship between a child and his or her parents. This familial connection is not defined by religious adherence but is deeply rooted in a personal, intimate relationship.

In Christianity that is what Jesus came to do; He came to bring us into a relationship with God beyond religion. Before Jesus came, various religions existed but Jesus brought something different: a relationship with God!

No wonder when Jesus referred to God as “Father,” it left the Jews astonished. They wondered, “How could anyone call God Father?” Well, Jesus called God His Father because He had a relationship with Him. It was a Father-and-Son relationship.

Addressing God as a Father was unfamiliar and perplexing to Jews. In John 10:30, Jesus said, “I and my Father are one,” stressing the essence of this divine relationship. He had the same life with God. John 1:14 tells us He was God in the flesh.

The Jews couldn’t take it. In fact, when He dared to go further and explain that relationship, they sought to kill Him. But thanks be unto God; through His death, burial, and resurrection, we’ve been brought into the same oneness with God. We’ve been brought into a divine relationship with the Father!

Now we can call God, our heavenly Father; you don’t find that in any religion. 1 John 3:1 says, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God….”  Then in Galatians 4:6, the Bible says, “…because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the access through Jesus Christ. Christ is alive in me! I’m not ordinary, for I’ve been called into the fellowship of the God-kind. Therefore, every day, I manifest the resplendent life of Christ, exercising dominion over sickness, disease, failure, lack and everything that’s of the devil! Hallelujah!

The Unveiler Of Divine Mysteries

“우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님, 영광의 아버지께서 지혜와 계시의 영을 너희에게 주사 하나님을 알게 하시고”(엡 1:17)

오늘의 본문 구절은 하나님의 신비를 우리에게 계시하는 데 필수적인 성령님의 역할을 강조하는 심오한 성령의 기도입니다. 성령님은 신성한 신비와 비밀을 밝히는 분이십니다. 우리는 오직 그분을 통해서만 참으로 하나님과 왕국에 관한 것들을 알 수 있습니다.

고린도전서 2:9-12은 이에 대해 좀 더 명확하게 설명합니다. “… 이와 같이 하나님의 일도 하나님의 영 외에는 아무도 알지 못하느니라 우리가 세상의 영을 받지 아니하고 오직 하나님으로부터 온 영을 받았으니 이는 우리로 하여금 하나님께서 우리에게 은혜로 주신 것들을 알게 하려 하심이라”

성령님은 어떻게 당신이 하나님의 왕국의 일들을 알게 하십니까? 그분은 당신의 영을 통해 그 일들을 소개해 주십니다. 당신의 두뇌나 생각으로는 이해할 수 없습니다. 그러나 성령님은 당신의 영과 교제할 때 당신에게 하나님과 왕국의 비밀을 알 수 있도록 계시를 위한 지혜를 주십니다.

더욱이, 성령님은 당신을 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하시는 진리의 영이십니다. “그러나 진리의 성령이 오시면 그가 너희를 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하시리니 그가 스스로 말하지 않고 오직 들은 것을 말하며 장래 일을 너희에게 알리시리라”(요 16:13)

주 예수님은 요한복음 14:26에서 성령님에 관해 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “보혜사 곧 아버지께서 내 이름으로 보내실 성령 그가 너희에게 모든 것을 가르치고 내가 너희에게 말한 모든 것을 생각나게 하리라”

성령님은 지식의 영이십니다. 성령님은 모든 지혜와 지식의 화신이십니다. 그분과 함께라면 당신은 결코 어둠 속을 걷거나 삶의 어떤 것에 대해서도 혼란스러울 수 없습니다. 기억하십시오. 그분은 만물을 만드셨습니다. 당신의 삶에서 성령님의 사역을 인식하고 그 유익을 누린다면 당신은 이 어둡고, 곤궁하고, 무지한 세상에서 지식의 안식처이자 해결책의 원천일 것입니다.

기도

THE UNVEILER OF DIVINE MYSTERIES

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him” (Ephesians 1:17).

Our theme verse is a profound prayer of the Spirit that highlights the indispensable role of the Holy Spirit in unveiling the mysteries of God to us. He’s the unveiler of divine mysteries and secrets. Only through Him can we truly know God and know things pertaining to the Kingdom.

1 Corinthians 2:9-12 provides some more clarity into this. There, the Bible says, “…the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

How does the Holy Spirit enable you to know the things of the Kingdom of God? It is by introducing them through your spirit. Your brain or mind can’t comprehend them. But the Holy Spirit, in fellowship and contact with your spirit, grants you wisdom for revelation, to know God and the secrets of the Kingdom.

Moreover, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth who guides you into all truth: “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13).

Earlier in John 14:26, the Lord Jesus, speaking of the same Holy Spirit said, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” (John 14:26).

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of knowledge; He’s the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge. With Him, you can never walk in darkness or be confused about anything in life. Remember, He made all things. If you’d recognise and take advantage of His ministry in your life, you’ll be an oasis of knowledge and a fountain of solutions in a dark, needy, and ignorant world.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I’m grateful for the privilege of fellowship with the Holy Spirit, who continually unveils the mysteries of the Kingdom to me. My path is illuminated to know and walk in my heritage in Christ, enjoying unending success, victories, fruitfulness and productivity, beauty and joy in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Remission Of Sins

“또 이르시되 이같이 그리스도가 고난을 받고 제삼일에 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 것과 또 그의 이름으로 죄 사함을 받게 하는 회개가 예루살렘에서 시작하여 모든 족속에게 전파될 것이 기록되었으니”(눅 24:46-47)

그리스도 안에서 우리는 죄 사함을 받았습니다. 우리를 위한 그리스도의 대속 사역으로 인해 우리는 새로운 피조물이 되었습니다. 우리의 과거와 죄는 완전히 지워졌습니다. 당신의 기억뿐만 아니라 하나님의 기억에서도 완전히 지워졌습니다.

말 그대로 예수님이 하신 일은 죄의 파괴적인 결과를 막기 위해 죄의 권세를 제거하신 것입니다. 성경은 “죄가 너희를 주장하지 못하리니 이는 너희가 법 아래에 있지 아니하고 은혜 아래에 있음이라”(롬 6:14)고 말합니다. 예수님은 우리를 위해 이 일을 성취하셨습니다.

사도행전 13:38-39은 말합니다. “그러므로 사람들아 형제들아, 너희가 알 것은 곧 이 사람을 통해 죄들의 용서가 너희에게 선포되었다는 것과 또 모세의 율법으로는 너희가 의롭게 되지 못하던 모든 일에서도 믿는 모든 자가 그분으로 말미암아 의롭게 되었다는 것이라.” 이 구절에 등장하는 “용서”는 그리스어 ‘아페시스(apesis)’로 ‘죄 사함’을 의미합니다.

더해서, 그리스도를 믿는 사람은 죄 사함을 받을 뿐만 아니라 모든 일에서 의롭다 함을 받습니다. 이는 모세의 율법으로는 가능하지 않았던 일입니다. 의롭다 함을 받는다는 것은 무죄 판결을 받는 것을 뜻합니다.

많은 그리스도인들이 이 진리를 충분히 이해하지 못합니다. 예수님이 실제로 온 세상의 죄를 담당하셨지만, 당신이 그분을 믿을 때 새로운 생명을 받고 “새로운 피조물”, 즉 하나님의 임재 안에 있는 새로운 사람이 됩니다(고후 5:17).

하나님 앞에 당신은 완전히 새로운 사람입니다! 이것이 바로 의롭게 되었다는 말이 진정으로 의미하는 바입니다. 당신은 단순히 값을 치른 것이 아니라 무죄 판결을 받았습니다. 이에 대한 당신의 믿음으로 말미암아 하나님은 당신에게 영생을 주셨고, 당신은 과거가 없는 새로운 생명으로 새롭게 태어났습니다. 이제 당신은 새로운 피조물입니다. 이 진리는 당신의 무죄 판결의 근거가 됩니다.

성경은 말합니다. “그러므로 우리가 믿음으로 의롭다 하심을 받았으니 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님과 화평을 누리자”(롬 5:1) 하나님은 그분의 임재 안에서 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 당신을 보십니다. 그분은 당신이 저지른 수많은 죄를 보지 않으십니다. 그분은 예수님처럼 순수한 당신을 보십니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 죄를 알지도 못하신 예수님을 우리를 대신하여 죄로 삼으시고 우리를 그리스도 안에서 하나님의 의로 만들어주시니 감사드립니다. 오늘 나는 전 세계의 죄인들을 위해 기도합니다. 그들이 복음을 들을 때 그들의 마음이 그리스도의 죽음으로 말미암아 그들을 위해 성취된 죄 사함을 받아들이도록 열립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

REMISSION OF SINS

“And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem” (Luke 24:46-47).

In Christ, we have remission of our sins. His substitutionary work in our behalf made us new creations. Our past and our sins were completely blotted out; entirely erased from God’s memory, not just your own.

So literally, what Jesus did was to take away the power of sin to prevent its destructive consequences. For that reason the Bible says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you” (Romans 6:14). Jesus accomplished this for us.

Acts 13:38-39 says, “Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.” The term “forgiveness” is derived from the Greek word ‘aphesis,’ which specifically means ‘remission of sins.’

Furthermore, those who believe in Him are not only granted remission but are also justified from all things, a status unattainable through the Law of Moses; justification implies being acquitted, to be declared not guilty.

Many Christians haven’t fully grasped the depth of this truth. While Jesus indeed paid for the sins of the whole world, when you believe in Him, you receive a new life, you become “a new creature” (2 Corinthians 5:17); a new person in the presence of God.

In God’s presence, you’re brand new! This is what justification truly means; you stand acquitted, not merely paid for. Through your belief in the payment, He gave you eternal life, and you were born anew, with a new life without a past. You’re now a new creature; this serves as the basis for your acquittal.

The Bible says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” (Romans 5:1). In the presence of God, He sees you in Jesus Christ. He doesn’t see the multitude of sins you’ve committed; instead, He sees you as pure as Jesus.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for making Jesus to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ. I pray for sinners around the world today, that as they hear the Gospel, their hearts be open to receive the remission of sins already accomplished for them through the death of Christ, to live unto righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. 예루살렘에서 땅 끝까지

From Jerusalem To The Ends Of The Earth

“또 이르시되 이같이 그리스도가 고난을 받고 제삼일에 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 것과 또 그의 이름으로 죄 사함을 받게 하는 회개가 예루살렘에서 시작하여 모든 족속에게 전파될 것이 기록되었으니”(눅 24:46-47)

기독교가 유태인의 종교라는 잘못된 가르침을 지지하는 사람들이 있지만, 오늘의 본문 구절에 나오는 주 예수님의 말씀은 그 개념을 불식시킵니다. 예수님은 복음이 “… 예루살렘에서 시작하여 모든 족속에게 전파될 것이…”라고 말씀하셨습니다.

복음은 모든 사람을 위한 것입니다. 기독교는 모든 사람을 위한 것입니다. 복음은 예루살렘에서 시작되었을 뿐입니다. 복음을 제한하지 마십시오. 모든 사람, 모든 곳, 열방에 복음을 전파하십시오! 마가복음 13:10은 말합니다. “또 복음이 먼저 만국에 전파되어야 할 것이니라”

예수님은 마태복음 24:14에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “이 천국 복음이 모든 민족에게 증언되기 위하여 온 세상에 전파되리니 그제야 끝이 오리라” 그리고 마태복음 28:19에서 다음과 같이 지시하셨습니다. “그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아 아버지와 아들과 성령의 이름으로 세례를 베풀고”

예수님은 영광스럽게 승천하시기 전에 제자들에게 “오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라”(행 1:8)고 말씀하셨습니다. 그래서 제자들은 예루살렘에서 시작하여 유대와 사마리아까지 복음을 전하고 땅 끝까지 나아갔습니다.

따라서, 복음은 땅끝까지 전해지도록 예루살렘에서 시작되었습니다. 이는 복음이 모든 사람을 위한 것임을 보여줍니다. 복음은 이 세상 어디에서나 복음을 듣고 믿는 사람의 삶에 결과를 낼 것입니다. 복음을 당신의 지역으로만 제한하지 마십시오. 모든 사람들에게 예수님을 전하십시오.

당신의 배우자, 부모님, 선생님, 학생, 이웃, 동료들에게 예수님에 대해 말하십시오. 그들에게 복음을 전파하십시오. 이 땅에서 잊혀진 곳처럼 느껴지는 지역에 살고, 당신의 언어를 알아듣지 못하는 사람들에게 말씀의 실재를 보내주십시오.

하나님께 감사드립니다. 말씀의 실재는 이 땅의 모든 언어로 제공됩니다. 이 말씀 묵상집은 세계 복음화를 위한 도구이자 어디에서나, 어떤 사람에게나 복음을 전할 수 있게 하는 하나님의 사랑의 편지입니다. 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 모든 사람에게 구원을 가져오는 복음이 한 사람도 놓치지 않고 모든 사람들에게 전해지게 하시니 감사합니다. 나는 복음 안에서 그리스도의 대사입니다. 오늘날 나를 통해 복음이 당신께서 정하신 많은 사람들에게 전해집니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

FROM JERUSALEM TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH

“And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem” (Luke 24:46-47)

There are proponents of a false teaching that Christianity is a Jewish religion, but the words of the Lord Jesus in the opening text dispel that notion. He said, it “…should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”

The Gospel is for all. Christianity is for all; it only started in Jerusalem. So, don’t limit the Gospel; preach it to everyone, everywhere, and in all nations! The Bible says in Mark 13:10, “And the gospel must first be published among all nations.”

In Matthew 24:14, Jesus said, “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Then in Matthew 28:19, He instructed, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

In fact, before His glorious ascension to heaven, He told His disciples, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8). So, the disciples began from Jerusalem, spread the Gospel to Judea and Samaria, and then moved to the ends of the earth.

Thus, it was from Jerusalem to the very bounds of the earth. This shows that the Gospel is for everybody; it’ll produce results in the life of anyone who hears and believes it everywhere and anywhere in this world. Don’t limit the Gospel to your locality; tell everyone about Jesus.

Yes, talk to your spouse, parents, teachers, students, neighbours, colleagues or co-workers about Jesus. Preach the Gospel to them. For those in the hinterlands and seemingly forgotten places of the earth, who may not even understand your language; send them Rhapsody of Realities.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the universal reach of the Gospel, as it’s what brings salvation to all men, with no one left out. I’m an ambassador of Christ in the Gospel. Through me, the Gospel reaches many today whom you’ve ordained for salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
