이 세상 위에서 사십시오

LIVE ABOVE THE WORLD

“너희가 세상에 속하였으면 세상이 자기의 것을 사랑할 것이나 너희는 세상에 속한 자가 아니요 도리어 내가 너희를 세상에서 택하였기 때문에 세상이 너희를 미워하느니라”(요15:19)

하나님은 당신이 이 세상 위에서 살아가길 원하십니다. 당신이 이 세상에 속하지 않았기 때문입니다. 성령님이 사도 바울을 통해 골로새서 2:20에서 다음과 같이 훈계하신 것은 놀라운 일이 아닙니다. “너희가 세상의 초등학문에서 그리스도와 함께 죽었거든 어찌하여 세상에 사는 것과 같이 규례에 순종하느냐”(골2:20)

당신의 행동, 반응, 생각, 말이 이 세상의 요소와 기초에 의해 영향을 받거나 조정되는 것을 거절하십시오. 이 세상은 당신에게 속했습니다.

이제 거듭난 당신은 자연적인 세상과 영적인 세상, 두 세상 안에서 살아갑니다. 당신이 하나님으로부터 태어난 영적인 영역을 더 인식하고 그 안에서 기능하십시오. 이 땅에서 천국의 삶을 사십시오. 당신은 천국 시민이기 때문입니다. “그러나 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라…”(빌3:20)

당신의 삶에 대한 가치관과 생각은 말씀으로 인도받아야 합니다. 그러면 이 세상에서 무슨 일이 일어나든지 당신은 항상 승리할 것입니다. 예수님이 요한복음 16:33에서 하신 말씀을 기억하십시오. “이것을 너희에게 이르는 것은 너희로 내 안에서 평안을 누리게 하려 함이라 세상에서는 너희가 환난을 당하나 담대하라 내가 세상을 이기었노라”

당신은 그리스도 안에서 세상을 이겼습니다. 따라서, 하나님의 왕국의 법칙과 당신의 믿음으로 이 세상을 통치하십시오. “무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라 세상을 이기는 승리는 이것이니 우리의 믿음이니라”(요일5:4)

고백

나는 하나님으로부터 태어났습니다. 따라서 나는 세상을 이겼습니다! 나는 이 세상에 대한 그리스도의 승리와 통치권 안에 삽니다. 나는 안식, 건강, 부요, 안전, 평안 안에 있습니다. 나는 하나님의 영광스러운 왕국의 법칙들로 내 세상에 영향을 끼칩니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

LIVE ABOVE THE WORLD

“If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you”(John 15:19).

God expects you to live above this world because you’re not of this world. No wonder the Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, cautioned in Colossians 2:20: “Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances.”

Refuse to allow your actions, reactions, thoughts, words and responses to be influenced or conditioned by the elements and rudiments of this world. The world is subject to you.

Now that you’re born again, you live in two worlds: the physical world and the spiritual world. Be more conscious of the spiritual realm into which you’re born of God, and function therein. Live the life of heaven on earth, because you’re a citizen of heaven: “But our citizenship is in heaven…” (Philippians 3:20 ESV).

Your outlook on life, and your contemplations should be guided by the Word. That way, no matter what happens in the world, you’ll always win. Recall the words of Jesus in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

You overcame the world in Him. Therefore, dominate this world with the principles of God’s Kingdom and with your faith: “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4).

CONFESSION

I’m born of God; therefore, I’ve overcome the world! I live in the victory and dominion of Christ over this world. I’m in rest, health, wealth, security and peace with prosperity. I influence my world with the principles of God’s glorious Kingdom. Blessed be God!
