말로 다스리는 왕국

A Kingdom Run By Words

“너희는 우리로 말미암아 나타난 그리스도의 편지니 이는 먹으로 쓴 것이 아니요 오직 살아 계신 하나님의 영으로 쓴 것이며 또 돌판에 쓴 것이 아니요 오직 육의 마음판에 쓴 것이라”(고후 3:3)

당신이 태어나서 일부가 된 하나님의 왕국에서 매우 중요한 사실은 이 왕국은 말로 다스려진다는 것입니다. 따라서 당신이 하는 말은 매우 중요합니다. 당신이 하는 말은 하나님의 말씀과 일치해야 합니다. 그러면 당신이 하는 말들의 나타남인 당신의 삶은 탁월하고 영광으로 충만하게 될 것입니다.

성경은 우리에게 하나님의 말씀을 아는 지식으로 충만할 것을 권면합니다. 풍성한 말씀 가운데 우리의 말이 나올 것이기 때문입니다.

잠언 6:2을 기억해 보십시오. “네 입의 말로 네가 얽혔으며 네 입의 말로 인하여 잡히게 되었느니라” 오늘날 많은 사람이 좋지 않은 상황에 빠져 있고, 자신의 말로 인한 곤경에서 벗어나기 위해 고군분투하고 있습니다.

예수님은 마태복음 12:37에서 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “네 말로 의롭다 함을 받고 네 말로 정죄함을 받으리라” 그리고 마가복음 11:23에서 예수님은 당신이 말한 바를 가지게 될 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님의 말씀을 말하겠다고 결단하십시오. 왕국의 언어로 말하십시오.

당신은 지금 하나님의 왕국에 있습니다. 그 왕국은 말로 다스리는 왕국입니다. 우리는 그 왕국에서 온전하고 믿음 충만한 말로 다스리고 승리합니다.

고백

성령의 도우심과 지속적인 말씀 묵상을 통해 나는 의식적으로 온전하고, 세워주고, 은혜롭고, 영감을 주고, 동기를 부여하고, 격려하는 말을 합니다. 내 말로 나는 성공, 승리, 신성한 건강, 번영을 내 안으로부터 창조하고, 이 세상에 하나님의 의를 세웁니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

A KINGDOM RUN BY WORDS

“Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart” (2 Corinthians 3:3).  

Something very important about the Kingdom of God into which you’ve been born and of which you’re a part is that it’s a kingdom run by words. So, the words you speak are very important. They must be consistent with the Word of God, and that way, your life, which is the outward manifestation of your words, will be excellent and full of glory.

We’re admonished in the Scriptures to be filled with the knowledge of God’s Word, because out of that abundance, our words will come forth.

Remember what the Bible says in Proverbs 6:2 says, “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.” Many today are trapped, struggling to come out of one predicament or the other, which they may have created through their own words.

Jesus said in Matthew 12:37, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”  In Mark 11:23 He said you shall have what you say. Make a determination to talk God’s Word; speak the language of the Kingdom.

You’re in the Kingdom of God now, and it’s a kingdom run by words, where we rule and prevail by our wholesome, faith-filled words.

CONFESSION

Through the help of the Spirit, and consistent meditation on the Word, I consciously speak wholesome, edifying, gracious, inspiring, motivating, encouraging words. With my words, I create success, victory, divine health and prosperity from within, establishing God’s righteousness in my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“그 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며 또 다윗의 왕좌와 그의 나라에 군림하여 그 나라를 굳게 세우고 지금 이후로 영원히 정의와 공의로 그것을 보존하실 것이라 만군의 여호와의 열심이 이를 이루시리라”(사 9:7)

오늘의 본문 구절은 만왕의 왕이시며 만주의 주이신 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 영원한 통치와 다스림을 말합니다. 다윗이 시편 72:8에서 열방을 다스릴 왕에 관해 예언했던 바로 그분이 예수님이십니다. “그가 바다에서부터 바다까지와 강에서부터 땅 끝까지 다스리리니”

주 예수님은 우리가 속해 있는 하나님의 왕국을 이끌고 계십니다. 하나님의 왕국은 실제적인, 가동 중인, 영적 왕국입니다. 그러므로 하나님의 왕국을 인식하고 왕국에 집중하십시오. 마치 여기서 모든 일이 끝나는 것처럼 당신의 마음을 이 땅에 두지 마십시오. 이 세상보다 더 큰 세상이 있습니다.

골로새서 3:1-2은 말합니다. “… 위의 것을 찾으라 거기는 그리스도께서 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시느니라 위의 것을 생각하고 땅의 것을 생각하지 말라” 지금은 마지막 때입니다. 따라서 그 어느 때보다 당신의 시선을 주님과 주님의 일에 고정하십시오.

고린도전서 15:58은 말합니다. “… 견실하며 흔들리지 말고 항상 주의 일에 더욱 힘쓰는 자들이 되라 이는 너희 수고가 주 안에서 헛되지 않은 줄 앎이라”

항상 주님을 위해 불타오르십시오. 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 항상 힘써 하나님의 진리를 선포하십시오. 하나님의 왕국에 집중하십시오.

고백

나는 영적인 영역에서 기능합니다. 이 물리적 세계의 어떤 것도 나에게 중요치 않습니다. 그리고 멈추지 않는 복음 전파를 통해 우리 하나님의 왕국은 열방을 다스립니다. 아멘.

BE KINGDOM CONSCIOUS AND FOCUSSED

“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this” (Isaiah 9:7).

Our opening verse is referring to the eternal reign and dominion of our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. He’s also the one David prophesied about in Psalm 72:8 when he talked about a king who will rule over the nations of the world: “He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.”

Our Lord Jesus heads the Kingdom of God which we’re a part of. It’s a real, functional spiritual kingdom. Therefore, be Kingdom conscious and focused. Don’t focus your mind on this earth as though everything ends here; there’s a world that’s greater than this.

Colossians 3:1-2 says, “…seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” These are the last days; therefore, more than ever, fix your gaze on the Lord and on His work. 1 Corinthians 15:58 says, “…be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Be on fire for the Lord all the time; be instant in season, and out of season, proclaiming His truth. Make His Kingdom your focus.

CONFESSION

I function from the realm of the spirit, and nothing in this physical world matters to me. And indeed, through the unstoppable spread of the Gospel, our Kingdom reigns over the nations. Amen.

Focus On The Life Hereafter

“또 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 보니 처음 하늘과 처음 땅이 없어졌고 바다도 다시 있지 않더라”(계 21:1)

사도 요한은 요한계시록 21장에서 새 하늘과 새 땅에 관해 말합니다. 그는 거룩한 도시, 새로운 예루살렘에 대해 묘사합니다. “또 내가 보매 거룩한 성 새 예루살렘이 하나님께로부터 하늘에서 내려오니 그 준비한 것이 신부가 남편을 위하여 단장한 것 같더라 내가 들으니 보좌에서 큰 음성이 나서 이르되 보라 하나님의 장막이 사람들과 함께 있으매 하나님이 그들과 함께 계시리니 그들은 하나님의 백성이 되고 하나님은 친히 그들과 함께 계셔서 모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 닦아 주시니 다시는 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음이러라”(계 21:2-4)

18-19절은 그 도시의 아름다움을 더 자세히 묘사합니다. 맑은 유리 같은 금으로 된 도시를 상상해 보십시오! 금으로 이루어진 도시를 상상해 보세요! “성곽은 벽옥으로 쌓였고 그 성은 정금인데 맑은 유리 같더라 그 성의 성곽의 기초석은 각색 보석으로 꾸몄는데…”

더 나아가 23절과 25절은 이렇게 말합니다. “그 성은 해나 달의 비침이 쓸 데 없으니 이는 하나님의 영광이 비치고 어린 양이 그 등불이 되심이라… 낮에 성문들을 도무지 닫지 아니하리니 거기에는 밤이 없음이라” 정말 기대되는 곳입니다!

당신의 초점이 멸망할 이 세상에 있어서는 안 됩니다. 오히려 주님의 영광스러운 재림을 기다리며 당신의 열정을 그리스도와 그분의 의를 온 세상에 전파하는 일에 집중시키십시오.

“사람이 만일 온 천하를 얻고도 자기 목숨을 잃으면 무엇이 유익하리요”(막 8:36) 라고 말씀하신 주님의 말씀을 기억하십시오. 반드시 멸망하고 다른 세상으로 대체될 이 세상은 당신의 영혼을 잃을 만한 가치를 가지고 있지 않습니다. 따라서 주님을 위한 삶을 사십시오.

고백

나의 애정은 주님과 그분의 영원한 왕국에 있습니다. 그리고 나는 온 마음을 다해 주님을 사랑합니다. 나에게는 성령의 일이 이 세상 어떤 것보다 중요합니다. 주님을 향한 나의 사랑에 힘입어 나는 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 성령의 능력으로 복음을 전합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!

FOCUS ON THE LIFE HEREAFTER

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea” (Revelations 21:1).

In Revelation 21, the Apostle John tells us about a new heaven and a new earth. He gives us a description of the holy city, the New Jerusalem: “And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:2-4

Verses 18-19 further describe the beauty of the city; imagine a city of pure glass-gold! “And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones….”

The 23rd and 25th verses take it even further: “And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.” What a place to look forward to!

Your focus shouldn’t be on this current world that’ll be destroyed. Rather, let your passion be all about Christ and the spread of His righteousness around the world as we await His glorious return.

Remember His words, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36). This world, which will surely be destroyed and replaced with another, isn’t worth the loss of your soul; so live your life for the Lord.

CONFESSION

My affection is set on the Lord and His eternal Kingdom, and I love the Lord with all my heart. The things of the Spirit are of greater importance to me than anything in this world. I’m propelled by my love for the Master to preach the Gospel in season and out of season, in the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

말씀으로 인한 예리한 통찰력

Acutely Perceptive By The Word

“이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된 대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄하게 될 것이며 네가 형통하리라”(수 1:8)

디모데전서 4:15에서 바울은 디모데에게 “이 모든 일에 전심 전력하여 너의 성숙함을 모든 사람에게 나타나게 하라”고 말했습니다.

그리스어 70인역으로 오늘의 본문 구절을 보면, 말씀을 묵상함으로써 좋은 성공을 거둘 뿐만 아니라 통찰력을 갖게 될 것이라고 말합니다.

그리스어 “수니아미(suniami)”는 당신이 현명하다, 통찰력이 있다, 매우 높은 지적 수준을 가지고 있다는 뜻입니다. 당신은 예리한 통찰력과 날카로운 직관을 갖게 될 것입니다.

이는 시편 119:98-100을 생각나게 합니다. “주의 계명들이 항상 나와 함께 하므로 그것들이 나를 원수보다 지혜롭게 하나이다 내가 주의 증거들을 늘 읊조리므로 나의 명철함이 나의 모든 스승보다 나으며 주의 법도들을 지키므로 나의 명철함이 노인보다 나으니이다” 시편 기자는 하나님의 말씀에 대해 말하고 있는 것입니다.

당신은 “하나님의 말씀으로 나를 원수보다 지혜롭게 하셨으니…”라고 말할 수 있을 것입니다. 이것이 당신의 고백입니다. 하나님의 말씀은 당신에게 통찰력, 지혜, 아이디어와 생각을 통합하는 능력을 줍니다. 시편 말씀의 후반부를 주목해서 보십시오. “내가 주의 증거들을 늘 읊조리므로 나의 명철함이 나의 모든 스승보다 나으며”

하나님의 증거는 하나님의 선언을 뜻합니다. 하나님이 어떤 분이신지, 우리가 어떤 자인지, 왕국이 어떤 곳인지에 대한 하나님의 선포입니다. 이것들은 하나님의 증거이며 당신이 그분의 증거를 묵상함으로 당신의 모든 스승보다 더 많은 명철을 가지고 있습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다.

100절은 “주의 법도들을 지키므로 나의 명철함이 노인보다 나으니이다”고 말합니다. 이는 당신이 하나님의 말씀에 주의를 기울일 때 말씀이 당신의 삶에 할 일들의 일부입니다. 사람들을 대할 때, 사업을 할 때, 재정을 다룰 때, 당신은 지혜로워지고 신중해집니다.

즉, 당신의 삶에 실패할 여지가 없다는 의미입니다. 하나님의 영은 말씀을 통해 당신에게 오직 하나님의 자녀만이 가질 수 있는 탁월한 생각의 폭을 넓혀주기 때문입니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 인생의 모든 일을 탁월하게 처리할 수 있는 지혜를 주는 하나님의 말씀에 감사드립니다. 나는 말씀을 통해 남다른 생각과 이해력을 가지고 있습니다. 나는 명민하며 예리한 통찰력을 가지고 있습니다. 따라서 나는 영광에서 영광으로 전진합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

ACUTELY PERCEPTIVE BY THE WORD

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).

In 1 Timothy 4:15, Paul said to Timothy, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.”

When you study our opening verse in the Greek Septuagint, it actually says that not only will you have good success from meditating on the Word, you’ll also become perceptive.

The Greek word is “suniami” and it means that you become sagacious or perspicacious, your intelligence rises to a very high level. You’ll find that you’re acutely insightful and penetratingly perceptive.

It reminds of what the Bible says in Psalm 119:98-100, “Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.” He’s talking about the Word of God.

You might as well say, “Thou through thy Word, hast made me wiser than mine enemies….” That becomes your confession. The Word of God gives you the perception, the wisdom, and the ability to put ideas and concepts together. Notice the latter part: “I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.”

God’s testimonies refer to God’s declarations; His declarations about Himself, about us, about His Kingdom etc.—these are His testimonies, and because you meditated upon His testimonies you have more understanding than all your teachers. Glory to God.

In verse 100, it says, “I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.” This is part of what the Word of God will do in your life if you’d give it attention. In your dealings with people, in your dealings in business, in your dealings in finances, you become wise; divinely circumspect.

That means no room for failure in your life, because the Spirit of God, through the Word, gives you an extraordinary amplitude of mind. Praise God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your Word which imparts wisdom to me to deal excellently in all affairs of life. Through the Word, I have an extraordinary amplitude of mind and comprehension. I’m perspicacious and acutely insightful. Therefore, I make progress from glory to glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

성령님의 권면을 따른다면 당신은 항상 승리할 것입니다

Follow His Counsel And You’ll Always Win

“성령이 아시아에서 말씀을 전하지 못하게 하시거늘 그들이 브루기아와 갈라디아 땅으로 다녀가 무시아 앞에 이르러 비두니아로 가고자 애쓰되 예수의 영이 허락하지 아니하시는지라”(행 16:6-7)

바울과 그의 일행이 복음을 전하기 위해 특정 지역에 가기로 결정했습니다. 그러나 성령님은 그때 그 지역에 가는 것을 막으셨습니다. 그들은 어떻게 성령님이 그곳으로 가는 것을 원하지 않으신 줄 알았습니까? 그들은 성령님을 잘 알고 그분께 내어져 있었기 때문에 그분의 음성을 알아차릴 수 있었습니다. 결과적으로 성령님은 그들을 인도하시고 지시하셔서 그들이 마케도니아 지역으로 가서 복음을 전하게 하셨습니다(행 16:8-9). 할렐루야!

성령님은 음성을 갖고 계시며 말씀을 통해 당신에게 말씀하십니다. 성령님은 말씀하실 때마다 지혜를 말씀하십니다. 하나님의 말씀은 하나님의 지혜이기 때문입니다! 따라서 당신이 하나님의 말씀을 배우고 아는 것은 매우 중요합니다. 성령님은 말씀 외에는 다른 어떤 말씀도 하지 않으십니다. 성령님이 당신에게 말씀하시는 모든 내용은 항상 기록된 말씀과 일치하며, 당신의 삶을 향한 하나님의 뜻과 일치합니다.

요한복음 16:13은 말합니다. “그러나 진리의 성령이 오시면 그가 너희를 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하시리니 그가 스스로 말하지 않고 오직 들은 것을 말하며 장래 일을 너희에게 알리시리라” 당신이 말씀을 잘 안다면, 성령님이 당신에게 말씀하실 때마다 알게 될 것입니다. 성령님은 성경을 증거하시기 때문입니다.

성령님이 당신에게 무슨 일을 하라고 말씀하실 때, 그 인도에 대해 의문을 품지 마십시오. 성령님의 인도하심을 따른다면 당신은 패배할 수 없습니다. 성령님은 당신을 성공에서 성공으로, 영광에서 영광으로 이끌고 인도하실 것입니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내 안에 거하기 위해 오셔서 나를 하나님의 완전한 뜻으로 인도하시는 성령님으로 인해 감사드립니다. 내 삶은 끝없이 이어지는 기적의 삶입니다. 나는 안으로부터 오는 그분의 인도와 음성에 완전히 내어져 있기 때문입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

FOLLOW HIS COUNSEL AND YOU’LL ALWAYS WIN

“Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not” (Acts 16:6-7).

Paul and his companions decided to go to certain regions to preach the Gospel, but the Holy Spirit prevented them from going at that time. How did they know it was the Holy Spirit who didn’t want them to go? They were so acquainted and yielded to Him that they could recognize His voice. As a result, the Spirit led and instructed them to go to Macedonia instead, to preach (Acts 16:8-9). Hallelujah!

The Holy Spirit has a voice, and He speaks to you from the Word. Whenever He speaks, He speaks wisdom, for the Word of God is the Wisdom of God! That’s why it’s so important for you to learn and know God’s Word. He never says anything outside the Word. Whatever He tells you is always in sync with the written Word, and consistent with God’s will for your life.

John 16:13 says, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” If you’re acquainted with the Word, you’ll know whenever the Holy Spirit talks to you, for He bears witness to the Scriptures.

When He tells you to do anything, don’t question it. You can’t follow His leading and lose. He’ll lead and guide you from success to success, and from glory to glory.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the Holy Spirit who has come to live in me, and guides me in the path of your perfect will! My life is an unending stream of the miraculous because I’m totally yielded to His guidance and promptings from within, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

많은 사람들이 삶에서 성령 인도를 받기를 원하지만 어떻게 성령님께 자신을 내어드려야 하는 지 모릅니다. 우리가 성령님 앞에 머리를 숙이며 무릎을 꿇는 것이 자신을 내어드리고 있는 것일까요? 경외하는 마음으로 머리 숙일 수 있지만, 그 행동 자체로 당신이 갈망하는 인도를 얻을 수 있는 것은 아닙니다.

성령님께 자신을 내어드리기 위해서는 반드시 그분의 말씀에 순종해야 합니다. 그분이 시키신 일에 헌신하며 하나님의 말씀이 당신을 통해 살도록 하십시오. 성령님은 성경의 저자이시며 그분이 주로 인도하시는 방식은 말씀을 통해서입니다.

하나님은 “내 백성이 지식이 없으므로 망하는도다…”(호 4:6) 라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그리고 당신에게 “너는 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분별하며 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라”(딤후 2:15)고 권면하십니다.

말씀을 공부할 때, 당신의 삶에서 성령의 인도하심이 증가할 것입니다. 당신이 그분의 음성을 인식할 수 있게 되기 때문입니다. 하나님의 말씀과 하나님의 영은 예수님을 살아있는 말씀으로 증거합니다. 그분은 “… 성경을 연구하거니와 이 성경이 곧 내게 대하여 증언하는 것이니라”(요 5:39)고 말씀하셨습니다.

또한 “내가 아버지께로부터 너희에게 보낼 보혜사 곧 아버지께로부터 나오시는 진리의 성령이 오실 때에 그가 나를 증언하실 것이요”(요 15:26) 라고 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님의 말씀이 당신의 생각, 결정, 인생관을 더 많이 지배할수록, 성령님은 당신의 삶을 더욱 조정하시고 승리에서 승리로 인도하십니다. 지금 이 순간에도 하나님의 말씀은 당신의 삶을 다스리는 능력이 있으며 당신이 하는 모든 일 가운데 당신을 이끌고, 조정하고, 인도한다고 선포하십시오.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 말씀을 공부할 때마다 성령님께 받는 권면에 감사드립니다. 나는 항상 성령님의 신성한 인도를 잘 받을 수 있도록 내 영을 활짝 엽니다. 그래서 나는 내 삶을 향한 하나님의 생각, 계획, 목적을 완전히 알게 되고 그 안에서 행합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YIELD TO THE SPIRIT AND THE WORD

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Many people desire the leading of the Holy Spirit in their lives but don’t know how to yield themselves to Him. Do we yield ourselves by bowing our heads and kneeling before Him? You may bow to Him physically in reverence, but this won’t give the guidance and leading you desire.

In yielding to the Holy Spirit, you must submit to His Word. You give yourself to what He tells you to do, and let the Word of God live through you. The Holy Spirit is the author of the Scriptures, and the primary way He leads is through the Word.

God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6). He however recommends that you “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).

As you study the Word, the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life will increase, for you’ll be able to recognize His voice. The Word of God and the Spirit of God bear witness to Jesus as the Living Word. He said, “Search the scriptures…they are they which testify of me (John 5:39).

He also said, “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me” (John 15:26). The more you let the Word of God dominate your mind, your decisions, and your outlook on life, the more the Holy Spirit controls your life, and leads you from victory to victory. Even now, declare that God’s Word has power over your life, to lead you, control you and guide you in all that you do.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the inner counsel I receive daily from your Spirit as I study your Word. I open my spirit to be more receptive to your divine guidance always, so that I may be fully acquainted with your thoughts, plans, and purposes for my life, and walk in them, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

육신 안에 계신 말씀

The Word In Flesh

“말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매 우리가 그의 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라”(요 1:14)

오늘의 본문 구절은 성육신한 말씀이신 예수님을 말합니다. 예수님이 죽임을 당하시기 전까지, 사람들은 그분이 이 땅에 다니실 때 그분의 영광을 보았습니다. 그러나 하나님은 예수님을 일으키셨고, 틀림없는 증거들로 그분이 살아나셨음을 공개적으로 보여 주셨습니다. 이제 그분은 당신 안에 거하십니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!

사람들은 말씀을 기다렸고, 선지자들이 말한 하나님의 영광을 기대했습니다. 그러나 말씀이 처녀에게서 나서 이 땅에 오셨지만, 많은 사람들은 그분을 알아보지 못했습니다. 예수님은 제자들에게 “사람들이 나 곧 사람의 아들을 누구라고 하느냐?”(마 16:13)고 물으셨습니다.

그러므로 하나님의 영원한 말씀이 처녀에게서 태어나 포대기에 싸여 사람들 사이에서 자라며 걸어 다니는 것을 보는 것은 참으로 경이로운 일이었습니다! 그들이 예수님을 “임마누엘”(우리와 함께 계시는 하나님)이라고 불렀던 것은 당연합니다(마 1:23). 그분은 “임마누엘”로 태어나셨지만, 오늘날 그분은 당신 안에 살아 계신 말씀이십니다.

예수님이 내딛었던 모든 발걸음은 하나님의 말씀이 움직인 것이었습니다. 예수님은 의인화된 말씀이셨습니다. 당신이 예수님을 영접하여 그분이 당신 안에 살게 되신 날, 당신 역시 동일한 하나님의 말씀으로 태어나 육신이 된 말씀이 되었습니다. “너희가 거듭난 것은 썩어질 씨로 된 것이 아니요 썩지 아니할 씨로 된 것이니 살아 있고 항상 있는 하나님의 말씀으로 되었느니라”(벧전 1:23)

따라서 당신은 예수님과 같이 살아 움직이는 말씀입니다. 주께서 그러하심과 같이 우리도 이 세상에서 그러하기 때문입니다(요일 4:17). 이제 당신은 왜 우리가 그리스도의 서신(말씀)으로 불리는지 이해할 것입니다(고후 3:3). 당신은 육신 안에 있는 말씀입니다. 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내가 말씀을 믿고 받아들였을 때 받은 특별한 생명에 감사드립니다. 이제 나는 말씀의 산물입니다. 살아 있는 말씀이신 예수 그리스도가 내 안에, 나를 통해 사십니다! 내 삶은 당신의 뜻, 생각, 아이디어, 의견을 나타냅니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

THE WORD IN FLESH

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).

Our opening verse refers to Jesus, the incarnate Word; they beheld His glory as He walked the streets until He was slain. But God raised Him up and showed Him openly to be alive with many infallible proofs. Now, He abides in you. Praise God!

They waited for the Word, expected His glory that the prophets spoke about; but then the Word came, born of a virgin and walked this earth, yet many didn’t recognize Him. He asked His disciples, “Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?”

Sadly, they didn’t know Him. But Peter, by revelation, spoke up and said, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16). John calls Him, “the Word made flesh”; He gives us the actual origin of the man, Christ Jesus—He’s the Word that pre-existed creation and by whom all things were created (John 1:1-3).

It was thus a pure marvel to see the eternal Word of God born of a virgin and wrapped in swaddling clothes, to grow and walk amongst men! No wonder they called Him “Emmanuel” (God with us) (Matthew 1:23). He was born “Emmanuel,” but today, He’s the Word alive in you.

Every step Jesus took was the Word of God in motion. He was the Word personified. And the day you received Him to live in you, you also became the Word made flesh, being born of the same Word of God: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever” (1 Peter 1:23).

So, like Jesus, you’re the Word in motion, for as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Now you understand why we’re called the Epistle (Word) of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:3). You’re the Word in flesh. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the extraordinary life I received when I believed and received the Word. Now, I’m the reproduction of the Word; Christ Jesus, the living Word, lives in and through me! My life is the expression of your will, thoughts, ideas, and opinions. Blessed be God!

WHAT’S REVEALED IN YOU?

“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

As a new creation in Christ, you only have one nature—the Christ-nature. Your recreated human spirit is made in the image and likeness of Christ. Therefore, in all you do, and at all times, live your Christ-nature.

When you talk, let Christ be heard. Let His love emit and effuse from your words and actions. Let His wisdom and righteousness overwhelm the hearts of your hearers as you speak only gracious and lifting words; let Him talk through you. Let Him see through your eyes. Let Him work with your hands.

The real essence of Christianity is Christ in you, manifesting and expressing Himself in, and through you. The Christian is one who expresses, exudes, and demonstrates the life, nature, character, and righteousness of Christ.

For example, in times of provocations, when you’re offended, what’s revealed in you? You ought to let Christ be revealed in you. In appraising your spiritual growth, one of the things you check is how much your actions, attitude and character express or depict the righteousness or character of Christ.

Dear Lord, thank you for blessing me and filling me with your love, righteousness, and indeed, with yourself. I’m gentle, patient, peaceful, loving, and kind. I express your wisdom, grace, glory, beauty, and love always. Christ is in me, and as He is, so am I in this world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

주 예수님은 “모든 정사와 권능과 강력과 통치와 이 세상뿐만 아니라 오는 세상에서 불리는 모든 이름보다” 훨씬 위에 계십니다. 정말 대단합니다. 그리고 오늘의 본문 구절의 후반부를 보면 하나님께서 교회를 위해 모든 것을 예수님의 발 아래 두셨다고 말합니다.

하나님께서 예수님의 발 아래 두지 않으신 것은 없습니다. 성경에서 예수님의 통치 밖에 있는 것은 없다고 말하는 것은 당연합니다. 하늘과 땅에 있는 모든 것을 다스리는 권세를 가지신 분은 오직 한 분입니다. 그분은 온 땅을 다스리십니다. 그분의 이름은 예수님입니다.

메시지 성경은 그분이 “… 은하계로부터 이 땅의 통치에 이르기까지 우주의 모든 것을 다스리게 하셨습니다. 그분의 통치를 받지 않는 이름이나 권세가 하나도 없게 하셨습니다. 잠시만이 아니라 영원토록 그렇게 하셨습니다. 이 모든 일을 담당하고 계신 분, 모든 일의 최종 결정권을 가지고 계신 분은 그리스도이십니다…” 이 구절에서 “모든”이라고 언급한 것에는 모든 나라, 질병, 마귀, 이름이 있는 모든 것, 이 세상 뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 있는 모든 것을 포함합니다.

이제 그리스도께서 만물을 주관하시는 것은 교회의 유익을 위해서입니다. 주 예수님은 몸된 교회의 머리이십니다. 그러므로 만물은 교회의 발 아래 있습니다. 왜 당신이 날마다 승리자로 살아야 하는지 아시겠습니까?

사탄과 그의 어둠의 무리를 포함한 모든 것이 당신의 발 아래 있습니다. 죽음, 지옥, 이 세상, 환경, 생명이 있는 것과 생명이 없는 것이 모두 당신의 통치 아래 있습니다. 그리스도의 권세, 다스림, 통치는 당신의 유익을 위한 것입니다. 당신은 그분을 통해 다스리며 그분의 이름 안에서 모든 일을 할 수 있습니다.

ALL THINGS ARE UNDER YOUR FEET

“I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of his power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else in this world or in the world to come. And God has put all things under the authority of Christ, and he gave him this authority for the benefit of the church.” (Ephesians 1:19-22 NLT).

The Lord Jesus is set far above “all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.” This is extraordinary. Then in the concluding part, it says God put ALL things under the feet of Jesus, for the benefit of the Church.

There’s nothing God didn’t put under the feet of Jesus. No wonder the Bible says nothing is exempt from His rule. There’s only One who has authority over all things in heaven and in the earth; He rules over all. His name is Jesus.

The Message translation says He’s “…in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything….” When it says “all things,” that includes all nations, all sicknesses, all demons, and every name that can be named—not only in this world but also in that which is to come.

Now, Christ’s dominion over all things is for the benefit of the Church. The Lord Jesus is the head of the Body, the Church. That means all things are therefore under the feet of the Church. Can you see why you must live as a victor every day of your life?

All things are under your feet, including Satan and his cohorts of darkness. Death, hell, the world, circumstances, living and non-living things are under your dominion. Christ’s authority, reign and dominion are for your benefit. You reign through Him and can do all things in His Name.

CONFESSION

All things are under my feet, including Satan and his cohorts of darkness. Death, hell, the world, circumstances—living and non-living things—are subdued before me because I function in the dominion of Christ. His authority is for my benefit; I reign through Him and can do all things in His Name. Hallelujah!

Focus And Meditate On The Word

당신이 직면한 어려움으로 인해 절대 좌절하지 마십시오. 당신에게 불이익을 주는 환경이나 상황은 없습니다. 어떤 상황이 어렵게 보이더라도, 사방에서 압박이 올지라도, 낙담하지 마십시오. 상황을 바라보지 말고 말씀을 보십시오. 말씀에 집중하고 말씀을 묵상하십시오.

FOCUS AND MEDITATE ON THE WORD

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Never be deterred by the adversities you face. There’re no circumstances or situations in life that are set to your disadvantage. Even when things appear to become hard and there’s pressure on every side, don’t despair. Don’t look at circumstances; look at the Word. Keep your focus and meditation on the Word.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 says, “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

Recall what we read in our theme verse; as you behold the glory of God in a mirror, which is the Word of God, you’re metamorphosed! You are transfigured from one level of glory to another.

The more you look into, or meditate on God’s Word, the more glorious your life becomes. You suddenly realize that the circumstances of life are mere shadows; they’re not real and therefore shouldn’t define you.

So, it makes no difference what your experiences have been; you’re a victor forever because the greater One lives in you. The Bible says, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). That means there’s glory in your life, and it’s an eternal glory that’s ever increasing as you meditate on God’s truths; who you are and your inheritance in Him.

You’re a success. You’re in prosperity, health, peace and safety. He’s given you an extraordinary life of ever-increasing progress and greatness, to express the glory and righteousness of His glorious Kingdom. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I continually fix my gaze on Christ and His eternal Word; therefore, I walk in and manifest the glory of God everyday, everywhere. The Word is fully expressed in and through me. I’m a success. My life is for the glory of God because I keep my focus and meditation on the Word of God!
