예수님은 우리를 통해 다스리십니다

He Reigns Through Us

“통치자들과 권세들을 무력화하여 드러내어 구경거리로 삼으시고 십자가로 그들을 이기셨느니라”(골 2:15)

오늘 본문구절에서 우리는 예수님이 지옥에 있는 사탄과 그의 무리를 구경거리로 삼으셨음을 알 수 있습니다. 예수님은 정사와 권세를 무력화하여 드러내시고 그들에게 공개적으로 수치를 주셨습니다. 모든 어둠의 영들은 이 일을 목격했습니다. 코니베어(Conybeare) 번역본은 예수님이 그들을 무장해제 시켰다고 말합니다. 할렐루야! 이제 예수님은 어둠의 세력과 만물을 다스리십니다.

고린도전서 15:25은 말합니다. “그가 모든 원수를 그 발 아래에 둘 때까지 반드시 왕 노릇 하시리니.” 예수님은 하늘에 계신 하나님 우편 곧 권세의 자리에 앉아 계십니다. 그렇다면 예수님은 어떻게 다스리십니까? 그분은 어떻게 원수들을 다스리십니까? 로마서 5:17은 우리에게 그분께서 다스리시는 방법을 알려줍니다. 성경은 말합니다. “한 사람의 범죄로 말미암아 사망이 그 한 사람을 통하여 왕 노릇 하였은즉 더욱 은혜와 의의 선물을 넘치게 받는 자들은 한 분 예수 그리스도를 통하여 생명 안에서 왕 노릇 하리로다.” 예수님은 우리를 통해 다스리십니다!

우리가 다스릴 때, 그분께서 다스리는 것입니다. 기억하십시오. 성경은 은혜가 의로 말미암아 왕 노릇한다고 말합니다. “이는 죄가 사망 안에서 왕 노릇 한 것 같이 은혜도 또한 의로 말미암아 왕 노릇 하여 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 영생에 이르게 하려 함이라”(롬 5:21). 그러므로 우리가 예수님의 빛으로서 그분을 위해 사는 동안, 그분의 은혜는 우리 안에서 그리고 우리를 통해 역사합니다. 다스림을 위한 그분의 은혜가 우리 안에 있습니다. 할렐루야!

우리의 임무는 명확합니다. 우리가 해야 할 일은 생명의 영역에서 다스리며 그리스도의 성품과 완전함을 나타내는 것입니다. “그러나 너희는 선택 받은 민족이요 왕 같은 제사장이며, 구별되어 헌신된 나라요, [하나님께서] 친히 사신 특별한 백성이니, 이는 너희를 어두움에서 불러내어 그의 놀라운 빛으로 들어가게 하신 분의 경이로운 행위를 내세우고 그분의 덕과 완벽함을 내보이게 하려 하심이라”(벧전 2:9 확대번역본).

이것이 바로 예수님께서 우리가 그분의 말씀 안에서 배우고 성장하기를 원하시는 이유입니다. 예수님은 우리가 그분의 이름을 사용하며 그분을 위해 이 세상을 운영하기를 원하십니다. 우리는 세상의 빛이며 우리는 대적과 모든 역경을 이겼습니다. 우리는 주 예수 그리스도의 복되신 이름으로 승리했습니다. 할렐루야!

고백

나는 왕으로서 생명 안에서 다스리는 은혜를 받았습니다. 그러므로 나는 환경과 마귀와 그 무리를 다스리며 권세를 행사합니다. 바로 지금 예수님의 이름으로 나는 열방과 백성, 지도자들과 전 세계 청년들에 대한 사탄의 영향력을 깨트립니다! 그리스도께서 열방을 다스리시며 그분의 의가 이 땅을 채우고 사람들의 마음을 덮으십니다. 모든 영혼이 그분께 속했기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

He Reigns Through Us

“And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it”(Colossians 2:15).

From our opening verse, we see that Jesus made a spectacle of Satan and his cohorts in hell. He spoiled principalities and powers and openly humiliated them. All the spirits of darkness saw this happen. The Conybeare translation says He disarmed them. Hallelujah! Now, He’s reigning over them and over all things.

1 Corinthians 15:25 says, “For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.” Jesus is in Heaven seated at the right hand of God; a place of power. So, how then is He reigning? How does He reign over His enemies? Romans 5:17 gives us an idea; it says, “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ).” He reigns through us!

When we reign, He reigns. And remember, the Bible tells us that grace reigns through righteousness: “That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 5:21). Thus, while we live for Him as His light, His grace works in and through us; His grace for reigning. Hallelujah!

Our job is well cut out for us: it’s to reign in the realm of life, and display the virtues and perfections of Christ: “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9 AMPC).

This is why He wants us to learn and grow in His Word, and put it to work. He wants us to run this world for Him, using the Name of Jesus. We’re the light of the world and we have overcome the adversary and all adversities; we win by the blessed Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I’ve received grace to reign and rule in life as a king. Therefore, I exercise dominion over circumstances, the devil and his cohorts. Right now, in the Name of Jesus, I break the influence of Satan over the nations, over the peoples, over the leaders, over the young ones all around the world! Christ reigns in the nations and His righteousness fills the earth and mantles the hearts of men, for all souls belong to Him. Hallelujah!
