능력으로 전해지는 말씀
Ministering The Word With Power
“이 성전의 나중 영광이 이전 영광보다 크리라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라 내가 이 곳에 평강을 주리라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라”(학 2:9)
우리는 사도행전 4 장에서 초대교회 성도들이 극심한 박해의 때에 주님께 기도한 모습을 볼 수 있습니다. “… 종들로 하여금 담대히 하나님의 말씀을 전하게 하여 주시오며 손을 내밀어 병을 낫게 하시옵고 표적과 기사가 거룩한 종 예수의 이름으로 이루어지게 하옵소서”(행 4:29-30).
성경은 사도행전 4장 이후에 로마 백부장 고넬료의 집에 방문하였던 베드로에 대해 말합니다. “베드로가 이 말을 할 때에 성령이 말씀 듣는 모든 사람에게 내려오시니”(행 10:44). 참으로 놀랍습니다!
“내려오다”라는 단어는 그리스어 “에피핍토(epipipto)”에서 유래된 것으로, ‘사랑으로 포옹하다, 비처럼 내리다, 누군가를 껴안다’라는 의미입니다. 베드로가 구원의 은혜의 말씀을 전할 때 성령께서 고넬료의 집에 있는 모든 사람을 감싸 안으셨고, 사람들은 모두 재창조되어 성령으로 충만해졌습니다. 할렐루야!
그러한 경험은 예수 그리스도의 교회를 통해 흔히 일어나야 합니다. 이 마지막 때에 하나님의 영은 그분의 자녀들이 능력, 기적, 표적, 기사로 하나님의 말씀을 전하고 가르치도록 일하고 계십니다. 전 세계에 있는 하나님의 사람들은 이전에 자신의 삶에서 경험해보지 못한 수준의 성령의 사역으로 인해 놀라게 될 것입니다.
당신이 말씀을 전하기 위해 어디를 가든지 이 사실을 인식하십시오. 당신이 사무실, 상점, 거리, 학교, 쇼핑몰에서 말씀을 전할 때 성령께서 말씀을 듣는 자들에게 내려오셔서 그들은 성령으로 충만해질 것입니다.
날마다 성령 안에 푹 잠기십시오. 밖으로 나가기 전에 성령으로 충만하십시오. 교제를 통해 당신의 영이 성령 안에 푹 젖게 하십시오. 자주 기도하고 금식하십시오. 구원하고, 치유하고, 구출하고, 축복하는 하나님의 능력이 복음 안에 있으며, 그 복음은 성령의 능력을 통해 다른 사람들에게 전달되도록 당신에게 맡겨졌습니다. 지금이 바로 당신이 그 일을 할 때입니다!
기도
주 하나님, 당신과 같은 분은 없습니다. 당신은 그 무엇보다도 위대하시며, 모든 민족이 당신께 속했습니다. 하늘이 당신을 찬양하며 당신의 이름은 영원히 높임을 받습니다. 당신의 자녀들이 어디에서 복음을 전하든지 당신은 표적들로 그들의 말을 확증해 주셔서, 왕국으로 엄청난 영혼의 추수가 있게 하십니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

MINISTERING THE WORD WITH POWER
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts (Haggai 2:9).
In Acts 4, we read that the saints of the early Church, in a time of intense persecution, prayed to the Lord. They said, “…grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus” (Acts 4:29-30).
Few chapters after that, Peter went into the house of Cornelius the Roman centurion and the Bible says,
“While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word” (Acts 10:44).
Remarkable indeed!
The word “fell” is translated from the Greek “epipipto,” which means to embrace with affection, to fall like rain or fall upon someone in an embrace. As Peter spoke those gracious words of salvation, the Holy Ghost embraced everyone in Cornelius’ household, and they were all recreated and filled with the Spirit.
Hallelujah!
Such experiences ought to be commonplace through the Church of Jesus Christ. In these last days, the Spirit of God is moving on His children to preach and teach His Word with power, with miracles, signs and wonders. God’s people around the world are going to be amazed at the move of the Spirit in their lives at a degree they’d never seen before.
Become conscious of this as you go preaching the Word everywhere. While you’re yet speaking and preaching in the offices, in the shops, in the streets, schools and shopping malls, the Holy Ghost will fall on your hearers and they’ll be filled with the Spirit.
Get yourself immersed in Him every day. Before you go out, get filled with the Spirit. Soak your spirit more in the Holy Spirit through fellowship. Pray and fast often. God’s power to save, heal, deliver and bless is in the Gospel, which has been committed to your trust to share with others by the power of God’s Spirit.
And this is the time!
PRAYER
Oh Lord God, there’s none like you; you’re greater than all, and all the nations belong to you. The heavens shout your praise and your Name is exalted forevermore. As your children go about preaching the Gospel everywhere, you confirm their words with signs following, resulting in massive harvests of souls into the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
