주님을 위해 사십시오
Live For Him
“이방인들은 너희가 그들과 함께 같은 방탕에 휩쓸리지 않는 것을 이상하게 생각하고 너희를 비방하나”(벧전 4:4, 한글킹제임스)
당신은 평생 동안 주님의 재림이 가까워졌다는 말을 들어왔을 것입니다. 이것은 사실입니다. 주님의 재림은 당신이 상상하는 것보다 더 가까워졌습니다. 당신의 역할은 그분의 재림을 준비하고 기대하는 것입니다.
당신은 주님의 재림을 간절히 기다리고 있습니까? 예수님은 누가복음 21:34-36에서 말씀하셨습니다. “너희는 스스로 조심하라 그렇지 않으면 방탕함과 술취함과 생활의 염려로 마음이 둔하여지고 뜻밖에 그 날이 덫과 같이 너희에게 임하리라 이 날은 온 지구상에 거하는 모든 사람에게 임하리라 이러므로 너희는 장차 올 이 모든 일을 능히 피하고 인자 앞에 서도록 항상 기도하며 깨어 있으라 하시니라.”
데살로니가전서 5:2-3은 말합니다. “주의 날이 밤에 도둑 같이 이를 줄을 너희 자신이 자세히 알기 때문이라 그들이 평안하다, 안전하다 할 그 때에 임신한 여자에게 해산의 고통이 이름과 같이 멸망이 갑자기 그들에게 이르리니 결코 피하지 못하리라.” 말씀은 이러한 일들이 마지막 때에 일어날 것임을 보여줍니다. 그리고 우리는 성경에서 말하는 그 시대에 살고 있습니다. 우리는 바로 눈앞에서 모든 예언적인 표적들이 나타나는 것을 실제로 보고 있습니다.
이제 히브리서 2:3은 경고합니다. “우리가 이같이 큰 구원을 등한히 여기면 어찌 그 보응을 피하리요…” 당신의 삶이 반드시 하나님과 일치하게 하십시오. 당신은 그분의 말씀을 따라 살아야 합니다. 주님을 지지하는 것을 부끄러워하지 마십시오. 그분은 당신의 편이셨고 당신을 구원하셨습니다. 사람들이 당신을 험담하고, 모욕하고, 심지어 박해한다 해도 부끄러워하지 마십시오. 주님을 위해 사십시오.
성경은 그릇된 삶을 사는 사람들과 함께하는 것보다 옳은 일을 함으로 박해를 받는 것이 더 낫다고 말합니다. 사람들은 당신이 예수님을 믿는다고 배척하더라도, 예수님은 당신을 사랑하십니다. 그들은 당신을 버려도, 예수님은 당신을 버리지 않으십니다. 그분은 항상 당신 안에 계시고 당신과 함께 하십니다. 그러므로 주님을 위해 자신을 구별하십시오. 이것이 하나님께서 당신에게 원하시는 바입니다.
휴거 자체는 징후가 없다는 사실을 기억하십시오. 다시 말해서, 휴거는 언제든지 일어날 수 있습니다. 그러므로 주님을 마음을 다해 기쁘게 섬기십시오. 그래서 그분이 다시 오실 때, 성령으로 빛나고 타오르며 주님을 섬기는 당신을 보실 수 있게 하십시오.
기도
복되신 아버지, 세상에 닥칠 멸망을 피할 자가 된 것이 얼마나 영광인지요! 진정으로 주님의 재림을 기대하며, 나는 성령으로 빛나고 타오르며 진심으로 기쁘게 주님을 섬깁니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

LIVE FOR HIM
They are astonished and think it very queer that you do not now run hand in hand with them in the same excesses of dissipation, and they abuse [you] (1 Peter 4:4 AMPC).
All your life, you must have been hearing that the coming of the Lord is near. But make no mistakes about it, it’s closer now than you can imagine.
Your role is to be prepared, and look forward to His return. Be one of those eagerly awaiting His return. He said in Luke 21:34-36, “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 says, “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety;
then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
The Word shows us that these things will be fulfilled towards the ending of time, and we’re in those days that the Scriptures talk about. We can truly see all the prophetic signs manifesting right before our eyes.
Now, Hebrews 2:3 cautions, “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation….” Be sure that your life is in sync with God, living according to His Word. Don’t be ashamed to stand up for the Lord. He stood up for you, and saved you. Don’t be ashamed that they may call you names, insult you and even persecute you; live for the Lord.
The Bible says it’s better to suffer persecutions for doing the right thing than to join those who live in error. If they ostracize you for believing in Jesus, it makes no difference; Jesus loves you. If they forsake you, He won’t forsake you; He’s always in you and with you. Therefore, distinguish yourself for the Lord.
That’s what God wants you to do.
Remember, the Rapture itself doesn’t have a sign.
In other words, it can happen anytime. Therefore, serve the Lord heartily and with joy, so that when He comes, He’ll meet you aglow, and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.
PRAYER
Blessed Father, what an honour to be counted among those to escape the destruction that’s coming on the world! As I earnestly look to your appearing, I’m aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving you heartily, and joyfully, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
