사랑을 고취시키십시오
Inspire Love
“서로 돌아보아 사랑과 선행을 격려하며”(히 10:24)
기독교에서 우리는 서로 사랑하고 의의 일을 하도록 합니다. 우리는 증오, 분노, 질투, 악의를 일으키지 않습니다. 다른 사람이 누군가를 향해 분개하도록 만들지 마십시오. 항상 사랑과 평안을 고취시키는 말과 행동을 하십시오. 당신은 사랑하도록 창조되었기 때문입니다.
예수님은 요한복음 13:34에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “새 계명을 너희에게 주노니 서로 사랑하라 내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이 너희도 서로 사랑하라.” 사랑을 전파하십시오. 사람들이 당신 안에 다른 사람에 대한 혐오를 불러일으키려고 할 때, 잘못된 영이 그들을 통해 일하는 것임을 알고 그들이 틀렸다는 것을 사랑으로 알려주십시오.
다른 누군가에 대해 당신을 괴롭게 하거나 격분하게 만드는 어떤 것도 즐기지 마십시오. 사랑 가운데 행하고 다른 사람들이 서로 사랑할 수 있도록 고취시키십시오. 예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “너희가 서로 사랑하면 이로써 모든 사람이 너희가 내 제자인 줄 알리라”(요 13:35). 하나님은 당신에게 그분의 사랑을 주셨고, 그 사랑을 아낌없이 표현할 수 있는 능력을 주셨습니다. 로마서 5:5은 말합니다. “… 우리에게 주신 성령으로 말미암아 하나님의 사랑이 우리 마음에 부은 바 됨이니.”
당신의 말로 사랑을 표현하십시오. 사랑이 당신의 행동을 통해 나타나게 하십시오. 사랑 가운데 행하는 것은 당신의 영과 인격의 완전함을 나타냅니다. 예수님은 마태복음 5:48에서 말씀하셨습니다. “그러므로 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 온전하심과 같이 너희도 온전하라.”
그러나 예수님은 그 구절에 앞서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “나는 너희에게 이르노니 너희 원수를 사랑하며 너희를 박해하는 자를 위하여 기도하라 이같이 한즉 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 아들이 되리니…”(마 5:44-45). 예수님은 당신이 하늘에 계신 아버지처럼 무조건적으로 사랑하기를 원하십니다.
기도
의로우신 아버지, 나는 내 영 안에 있는 당신의 생명을 기뻐합니다. 그 사랑과 의의 생명은 내 말과 행동을 통해 풍성하게 나타납니다. 나는 다른 사람들이 서로 사랑하도록 하며, 그들이 의의 일을 행하도록 고취시킵니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

INSPIRE LOVE
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works (Hebrews 10:24).
In Christianity, we provoke one another to love, to produce works of righteousness. We don’t provoke to hate, anger, jealousy or malice. Don’t provoke someone else to become resentful of another person. Always say and do things that promote love and peace, for you were created to love.
Jesus said in John 13:34, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.” Spread love.
When people try to instigate a dislike within you for someone else, know that it’s a wrong spirit working through them, and lovingly let them know that they’re wrong.
Don’t entertain anything that’ll make you bitter or enraged towards someone else. Walk in love and inspire others to love. Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35). God has given you His love and the ability to express it lavishly. Romans 5:5 says,
“…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Let love show in your language. Let it reflect in your actions. Walking in love reveals the perfection of your spirit and person. Jesus said in Matthew 5:48,
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
But right before that, He said, “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven…” (Matthew 5:44-45). He wants you to love unconditionally like your heavenly Father.
PRAYER
I rejoice, righteous Father, for your life that’s in my spirit; the life of love and righteousness, copiously expressed in my words and actions. I provoke others to love, and inspire them to produce works of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
