Declare What You Want In His Name
“내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 나를 믿는 자는 내가 하는 일을 그도 할 것이요 또한 그보다 큰 일도 하리니 이는 내가 아버지께로 감이라 너희가 내 이름으로 무엇을 구하든지 내가 행하리니 이는 아버지로 하여금 아들로 말미암아 영광을 받으시게 하려 함이라”(요 14:12-13)
예수님이 “너희가 내 이름으로 무엇을 구하든지 내가 행하리니”라고 말씀하셨을 때, 그분은 기도에 대해 말씀하신 것이 아니었습니다. 여기서 “구하다”라는 단어는 그리스어 “아이테오(aiteo)”로서, “요구하다”로 바꿔 쓸 수 있습니다. 이는 예수님이 요한복음 16:23에서 말씀하신 것과는 다릅니다. “그 날에는 너희가 아무것도 내게 묻지 아니하리라 내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 무엇이든지 아버지께 구하는 것을 내 이름으로 주시리라.”
요한복음 16:23에서 “구하다”라는 단어는 그리스어로 “에로타오”(erotao)이며 기도를 의미합니다. 여기서 예수님은 어떻게 그분의 이름 안에서 아버지께 기도해야 하는지 보여주십니다. 그러나 오늘의 본문 구절에 등장하는 “구하다”라는 단어는 예수님의 이름으로 요구하는 것에 대해 말합니다.
사도행전 3:1-6은 베드로와 요한이 이것을 어떻게 적용했는지 보여줍니다. 그들은 성문에서 매일 구걸하고 있는 날 때부터 불구였던 사람과 마주쳤습니다. 베드로가 그에게 말했습니다. “은과 금은 내게 없거니와 내게 있는 이것을 네게 주노니 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 일어나 걸으라 하고”(행 3:6). 이것은 기도가 아닙니다. 베드로는 예수님의 이름으로 요구했습니다.
오늘날 우리 세상에 일어나는 많은 악한 일들은 마귀에 의한 것입니다. 그러나 우리는 예수님의 이름으로 승리합니다. 우리에게는 승리가 있습니다. 당신이 괴로운 상황을 마주할 때마다 당신이 원하는 것을 예수님의 이름 안에서 선포하십시오. 그러면 변화가 있을 것입니다. 이는 배후의 권위에 관한 것입니다. 예수님의 이름을 사용하여 당신의 몸을 건강하게 유지하고, 당신 주변의 폭풍을 잠잠하게 하고, 당신의 가정과 지역사회와 마을과 나라에 변화를 일으키십시오.
고백
나는 예수님의 이름으로 흑암의 세력, 속임과 혼돈과 혼란의 귀신들, 이 땅의 여러 나라들을 파괴하는 폭력의 영들을 대적합니다. 나는 그들의 노력을 무력화합니다! 나는 이 폭력의 귀신들이 그들의 계획을 수행하지 못한다고 선포합니다. 그들은 승리할 수 없습니다. 나는 열방과 그 지도자들에 대한 사탄의 영향력과 통치권을 깨뜨립니다. 전능하신 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!

DECLARE WHAT YOU WANT IN HIS NAME
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:12-13).
When Jesus said, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,” He wasn’t talking about prayer. The word “ask” is the Greek “aiteo?” and it’s a substitute for the word “require.”
It’s different from what we have in John 16:23 where Jesus said, “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.”
In the case of the latter, the word “ask” is “ero?ta?” (Greek), which is prayer. Here, Jesus was showing us how to pray to the Father in His Name. But the “ask” in our theme verse is talking about you making a demand in the Name of Jesus.
In Acts 3:1-6, the Bible shows us how Peter and John put this to work. They encountered a man crippled from birth who daily begged for alms at the temple gate. Peter said to him, “…Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6). This isn’t prayer; Peter made a demand in the Name of Jesus.
Many of the evil things happening in our world today are caused by demons. But with the Name of Jesus, we prevail; we have the victory. Every time you face distressing situations, declare what you want in the Name of Jesus, and there’ll be a change. It’s about His authority. Use the Name of Jesus to keep your body in health, calm the storms around you, and effect changes in your home, family, community, town, city, and in your country.
CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus, I come against the demons of darkness, the demons of deception, confusion and chaos; spirits of violence causing destructions in the nations of the world; I paralyse their efforts! I declare that these demons of violence will not prevail. I break the influence and dominion of Satan over the nations and their leaders, in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
