더 위대한 지혜
GREATER WISDOM
“하나님이 솔로몬에게 지혜와 총명을 심히 많이 주시고 또 넓은 마음을 주시되 바닷가의 모래 같이 하시니 솔로몬의 지혜가 동쪽 모든 사람의 지혜와 애굽의 모든 지혜보다 뛰어난지라 그는 모든 사람보다 지혜로워서…”(왕상4:29-31)
어느 날 주님께서 저에게 그리스도 안에서 우리가 가진 신성한 지혜가 솔로몬이 가졌던 지혜보다 얼마나 더 훌륭한 지 말씀하셨습니다. 저는 그 말에 놀라 이렇게 말했습니다. “주님, 솔로몬은 역사상 가장 지혜로운 사람이었습니다.” 그러자 주님은 이렇게 대답하셨습니다. “그렇지. 하지만 너의 지혜는 나의 지혜이다.” 그리스도께서 우리에게 지혜가 되셨습니다. “오직 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 유대인이나 헬라인이나 그리스도는 하나님의 능력이요 하나님의 지혜니라…너희는 하나님으로부터 나서 그리스도 예수 안에 있고 예수는 하나님으로부터 나와서 우리에게 지혜와 의로움과 거룩함과 구원함이 되셨으니”(고린도전서 1:24,30).
그리고 하나님께서는 저에게 솔로몬이 말한 것들을 성경에서 찾아보도록 지시하셨습니다. “그가 잠언 삼천 가지를 말하였고 그의 노래는 천다섯 편이며 그가 또 초목에 대하여 말하되 레바논의 백향목으로부터 담에 나는 우슬초까지 하고 그가 또 짐승과 새와 기어다니는 것과 물고기에 대하여 말한지라”(왕상4:32-33).
솔로몬은 나무, 식물, 짐승 등에 모든 것에 대해 이야기했고, 그 어떤 사람보다 더 지혜로웠습니다. 주님은 그리스도 안에 있는 우리가 솔로몬이 알고 있던 것 보다 더 높은 차원의 것들을 말한다고 알려주셨습니다. 우리는 신비들을 말합니다. 사람들이 이해하지 못하는 신비를 말합니다. “오직 은밀한 가운데 있는 하나님의 지혜를 말하는 것으로서 곧 감추어졌던 것인데 하나님이 우리의 영광을 위하여 만세 전에 미리 정하신 것이라”(고전2:7) 우리는 성령님의 영역과 하나님의 왕국에 관한 더 높은 차원의 것들을 말합니다.
우리가 숨겨진 지혜를 이 세상에 가져오는 방법 중 하나는 성령님을 통해서, 즉 방언으로 기도하는 것입니다. 성경은 이렇게 말합니다. “방언을 말하는 자는 사람에게 하지 아니하고 하나님께 하나니 이는 알아 듣는 자가 없고 영으로 비밀을 말함이라”(고전14:2) 우리는 성령님을 통해 비밀들을 말합니다. 그리고 나서 통역의 은사로 그 비밀들이 무엇인지 압니다.
방언으로 기도하며 그 내용이 통역될 때, 당신은 때때로 성경 구절이나 성령님이나 성경에서 설명하는 내용들을 말하고 있음을 발견할 것입니다. 그것이 신비이고 비밀들입니다. 다음에 방언으로 기도할 때는 깨어 있으십시오. 지혜가 당신을 통하여 말할 것이기 때문입니다. 당신이 계속하여 기도한다면 통역이 당신에게 올 것입니다. 혹 그렇지 않다면, 방언 통역의 은사를 구하고 받으십시오.
고백
하나님의 지혜, 의, 사랑, 은혜가 지금도 내 안에 역사하며 하나님의 왕국의 신비와 비밀을 더 깊고 온전히 알고 통찰력을 갖게 하십니다. 명철의 눈이 밝아져서 복음의 실재와 진리들이 밝게 드러납니다. 할렐루야!

GREATER WISDOM
“And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore. And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men…”(1 Kings 4:29-31).
One day, the Lord was talking to me, and He told me how far greater and more excellent the divine wisdom we have in Christ is than what Solomon had. I was surprised and said, “Lord, Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived.” Then, the Lord replied, “Yes, but your wisdom is my wisdom”, for Christ is made wisdom unto us. “But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:” (1 Corinthians 1:24,30)
He then instructed me to go into the scriptures to see the things Solomon talked about: “…he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five. And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes” (1 Kings 4:32-33).
Solomon talked about trees, plants, beasts, and so on, and he was wiser than all men. The Lord showed me that in Christ, we talk about higher things than what Solomon knew. We speak mysteries; mysteries that baffle men: “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory” (1 Corinthians 2:7). We speak of higher things of the Spirit realm and the kingdom of God.
One of the ways we bring the hidden wisdom into this world is through the Spirit, when we speak in tongues. The Bible says, “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries” (1 Corinthians 14:2). By the Holy Ghost, we speak mysteries. Then, by the gift of interpretation, we know what those mysteries are.
When you pray in other tongues and the interpretation starts coming to you, sometimes you’d find that you spoke out a scripture or an explanation of something in the Spirit, or from the Word. These are mysteries. When next you’re praying in tongues, be alert in your spirit because wisdom speaks through you. If you continue in prayer, the interpretation will come to you, or else ask and receive the gift of interpretation of tongues.
CONFESSION
God’s wisdom, righteousness, love, and grace are at work in me even now, causing me to know and have deeper and fuller insight into mysteries and secrets of the Kingdom. The eyes of my understanding are enlightened to the realities and truths of the Gospel. Hallelujah!
