당신의 생각을 다스리십시오
Take Control Of Your Mind
“너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아…”(롬 12:2)
로마서 8:12은 “그러므로 형제들아 우리가 빚진 자로되 육신에게 져서 육신대로 살 것이 아니니라”라고 말씀합니다. 이는 당신이 육신을 따라 살기로 되어있지 않다는 것을 의미합니다. 육신을 따라 사는 것이 무엇입니까? 그것은 감각을 따라 살고 새롭게 되지 않은 생각을 따라 사는 것입니다. 신약에서 “육신”이라는 단어는 몸과 감각을 말하며, 둘 다 혼에 의해 제어됩니다.
혼에는 몸과 감각에 대한 통제 시스템이 있습니다. 왜냐하면 혼 안에 생각과 감정과 의지가 있기 때문입니다. 그래서 당신의 생각이 중요한 것입니다. 당신의 생각은 감정과 의지에 영향을 주고 결과적으로 혼에 영향을 끼쳐서 당신의 감각과 행동으로 나타납니다.
당신의 성품은 당신의 영이 아닌 혼에 의해 형성되어 있습니다. 당신의 성품은 그 어떤 것보다도 당신의 생각에 의해 결정됩니다. 따라서 하나님은 당신의 생각에 대해서 강조하십니다. 거듭난 이후에도 그 사람의 생각이 새로워지지 않았다면, 그 생각은 그를 지옥으로 데려 갈 수 있습니다.
그리스도인으로서 당신이 생각을 관리하고 소유하는 것이 중요합니다. 말씀으로 당신의 생각을 새롭게 하십시오. 당신의 생각이 당신을 지배하게 하지 말고 영으로 사십시오. 잘못된 생각을 받아들이지 마십시오. 삶의 부정적인 요소들에 머무르지 마십시오. 당신을 깎아내리는 생각들과 그리스도 안에서의 당신의 본성, 유업, 정체성과 일치하지 않는 생각들을 의식적으로 제압하십시오.
그러한 생각들이 지속될 경우에는 예수 이름으로 그 생각들에게 당장 중단될 것을 말하고 요구하십시오. 그러면 그 생각들은 멈춰질 것입니다. 어느 정도 시간이 흐른 후 그 생각이 다시 찾아올 수도 있습니다. 그렇다면 똑같은 행동을 반복하십시오. 언제든지 그 생각이 찾아올 때마다 꾸짖고 거절한다면 당신은 승리할 것입니다. 성경은 우리가 마귀를 대적하면 그는 달아날 것이라고 말씀합니다. 당신은 반드시 당신의 생각을 말씀으로 새롭게 함으로 통제하는 방법을 배워야 합니다.
당신은 당신의 생각을 다스려야 합니다. 생각을 관리함으로 당신의 삶이 영광에서 영광으로 변화되게 하십시오. 이것이 우리가 로마서 12:2에서 읽은 내용입니다. 하나님께서는 당신에게 이를 행할 수 있는 능력을 주셨기 때문에 당신이 해낼 것을 기대하십니다. 그분은 당신이 생각을 사용하여 탁월함을 발휘하고 당신의 삶을 책임지고 다스리기를 원하십니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 내 생각은 말씀과 성령의 사역에 완전히 내어져 있습니다. 나는 오직 그리스도 안에서 탁월함, 힘, 승리, 부요, 성공, 믿음, 영광스런 삶만을 생각합니다. 주님의 말씀을 통해 내 생각이 재구성되고, 새롭게 되고, 변화되고, 영광과 승리의 끝없는 삶을 누릴 수 있게 됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR MIND
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind… (Romans 12:2).
Romans 8:12 says, “Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh,” meaning you’re not supposed to live after the flesh. What is it to live after the flesh? It means to live after the senses, to live from your unrenewed mind. The word, “flesh” in the New Testament refers to the body and its senses, both of which are controlled by the soul.
There’s a control system in the soul for the body and its senses, because in the soul, you have the mind, the emotions and the will. That’s why your mind is so important. Your mind influences your emotions and your will, and therefore your soul. And when that happens, the result will show in your senses and the actions you take. Your real character isn’t formed by your spirit but by your soul. The character of your personality is controlled from your mind more than anything else. That’s why God is so emphatic about your mind, because even after someone is born again, the person’s unrenewed mind could still take him or her to hell.
It’s important that as a Christian you manage and take possession of your mind; renew your mind with the Word. Don’t let your mind control you. Live from your spirit. Don’t accept the wrong thoughts. Don’t’ dwell on the negatives of life. Consciously subdue thoughts that demean you, thoughts that are contrary to your nature, heritage, and identity in Christ.
When such thoughts persist, speak words and demand that they cease in the Name of Jesus, and they’ll cease: maybe for a season; they may come back. If they do, do the same thing again; rebuke and reject them whenever they come, and you’ll win. The Bible says resist the devil and he’ll flee from you. But you must also learn to control your own thoughts, by setting your mind on the Word.
You’ve got to take control of your mind and your thoughts. Transform your life from glory to glory through the management of your mind. That’s what we read in Romans 12:2. God expects this of you because He has given you the ability. He wants you to be in charge and in control of your life by using your mind to produce excellence.
PRAYER
Dear Father, my mind is completely yielded to the ministry of the Word and the Holy Spirit, such that I only think excellence, strength, victory, abundance, success, faith and the glorious life in Christ. Through your Word, my mind is reprogrammed, renewed, transformed, and positioned for an unending life of glory and victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
