계속 증가하는 위대함
Ever-increasing Greatness
“주께서 나로 더욱 창대케 하시며 모든 면에서 나를 위로하시리이다.”(시 71:21, 한글킹제임스)
주님은 창세기 22:17-18에서 아브라함에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 네게 큰 복을 주고 네 씨가 크게 번성하여 하늘의 별과 같고 바닷가의 모래와 같게 하리니 네 씨가 그 대적의 성문을 차지하리라 또 네 씨로 말미암아 천하 만민이 복을 받으리니…” 참으로 주님은 아브라함에게 복을 주셨고 그를 위대하게 하셨습니다. 당신은 아브라함 이후 여러 세대에 임한 복을 확인할 수 있습니다. 이삭, 야곱, 다윗, 솔로몬 모두 이 실재 안에 살았습니다.
위대한 왕이었던 다윗은 더 높은 차원의 위대함을 경험했습니다. 그는 위대함에도 여러 수준이 있음을 알았습니다. 그래서 그는 “주께서 나로 더욱 창대케 하시며 모든 면에서 나를 위로하시리이다”라고 기도했습니다. 위대해지는 방법에는 세 가지가 있습니다. 당신이 위대하게 태어나거나, 위대함을 받거나, 위대함을 성취하는 것입니다.
그러나 하나님께 감사드립니다! 당신은 거듭났을 때 위대하게 태어났습니다. 당신은 하나님의 놀라운 가족 안으로 태어났고, 전능하신 하나님과 그분의 왕국에 연결되었습니다. 당신은 하나님 왕국의 모든 부와 재물의 상속자로 태어났습니다. 이 실재 안에 살기 위해서는 먼저 당신의 감각을 뛰어넘어 살아야 합니다. 당신이 보는 것이 전부가 아닙니다. 삶에는 당신이 보고 느끼는 것보다 더 많은 것들이 있습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “이는 우리가 믿음으로 행하고 보는 것으로 행하지 아니함이로라”(고후 5:7).
그 다음으로 당신은 위대함과 관련하여 하나님께 동의하여 같은 것을 말해야 합니다. 시편 기자처럼 말씀을 따라 고백하고 당신의 위대함을 말하십시오. 믿음으로 당신의 끝없는 증가를 선포하십시오. 주님께서 당신의 위대함을 증가시키고 계신다고 선포하십시오.
당신이 어떤 직업을 갖고 있는지는 중요치 않습니다. 당신 안에 위대함이 있으므로 그 일을 위대하게 만드십시오. 당신은 왕족입니다. 할렐루야!
기도
나는 아브라함의 씨입니다. 그러므로 나는 위대하고 나의 위대함은 끝없이 증가합니다. 주님은 나를 위대하게 하고, 더욱 크게 만들고, 앞으로 가게 하고, 급속도로 발전하게 하십니다. 나의 위대함에는 한계가 없으며, 번영과 풍성함을 위한 큰 은혜가 나를 향해 있습니다. 할렐루야!

EVER-INCREASING GREATNESS
Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side (Psalm 71:21).
The Lord said to Abraham in Genesis 22:17-18: “…in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore;and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed….” Indeed, the Lord blessed Abraham and made him great. You’ll observe the blessing through several generations after him. Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon all walked in this reality.
David, who was a great king, took it to another crescendo; he knew that in greatness there’re levels.
So, he prayed, “Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side” (Psalm 71:21). There’re three ways of becoming great: you’re either born great or you have greatness bestowed on you, or you achieve greatness.
But thanks be unto God! When you were born again, you were born great; you were born into this wonderful family of God, connected with God Almighty and the Kingdom of God. You were born the
very heir of all the riches and wealth of God’s Kingdom.
To walk in this reality, first, you have to live beyond your senses. All you see isn’t all there is. There’s more to life than what you see or feel. The Bible says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Secondly, you must say the same thing in consent with God as it pertains to your greatness. Just like the psalmist, make confessions according to the Word and speak of your greatness. Declare by faith that of your increase, there’ll be no end. Henceforth, declare that the Lord is increasing your greatness in a significant way. It doesn’t matter what job you do, make it great, because there’s greatness in you. You’re royalty.

PRAYER
I’m the seed of Abraham; I’m great, and of the increase of my greatness, there shall be no end. The Lord magnifies me and causes me to wax greater, move forward, advance in leaps and bounds. My greatness is unlimited, and great grace for prosperity and superabundance is directed towards me.
