You Have All Things In Him

“하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 얼마나 풍성한지를 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”(골 1:27)

기독교의 본질이며 예수님께서 이 땅에 오신 모든 영광과 기쁨은 당신 안에 계신 그리스도입니다. 당신 안에 계신 그리스도가 전부입니다. 당신 안에 계신 그리스도는 당신 안에 있는 천국이자 신성입니다. 이제 당신은 그리스도를 가졌으므로 모든 것을 가졌습니다. 바울이 이렇게 말한 것은 당연합니다. “그런즉 누구든지 사람을 자랑하지 말라 만물이 다 너희 것임이라”(고전 3:21). 할렐루야!

여기에 생각해볼수록 놀라운 것이 있습니다. 로마서 6:23은 말합니다. “…하나님의 선물은 예수 그리스도 우리 주를 통해 얻는 영원한 생명이니라.” 이것이 복음의 근본적인 진리입니다. 그러나 복음에 대한 당신의 이해가 높아질수록 예수님께서 그저 서 계신 채 우리에게 영생을 나누어 주시는 것이 아님을 알게 됩니다. 예수님 자신이 바로 영생이십니다. 예수님이 당신에게 영생을 주실 때, 그분은 자신을 당신에게 주신 것입니다. 할렐루야!

이 실재에 대해 깨닫는 순간, 당신의 생각과 기도는 완전히 바뀔 것입니다. 당신은 하나님께 더 이상 구하지 않을 것입니다. 당신이 그리스도를 가지고 있다는 것이 사실이라면(그리고 이것이 사실인 것이 하나님께 얼마나 감사한지요), 당신이 필요한 것이 무엇이겠습니까? 그리스도는 모든 것이며, 모든 것이 그리스도 안에 있습니다.

그리스도 안에서 당신이 이미 가지고 있는 것을 하나님께 구하지 마십시오. 예를 들어, 하나님께 치유를 구하지 마십시오. 신성한 건강을 취하십시오. 신성한 건강은 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 당신의 본성입니다. 승리하는 인생은 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 것입니다. 영광과 의의 탁월한 삶에 필요한 모든 것이 이미 그리스도 안에서 당신의 것입니다(벧후 1:3).

이제 당신은 주 예수님께서 누가복음 12:22에서 이렇게 말씀하신 이유를 이해할 수 있습니다. “너희 목숨을 위하여 무엇을 먹을까 몸을 위하여 무엇을 입을까 염려하지 말라.” 예수님이 당신의 풍성함입니다. 그분 안에서 당신은 모든 것을 가지고 있습니다. 할렐루야!

기도

복되신 아버지, 그리스도 예수 안에서 모든 것을 나에게 주시니 감사합니다. 그리스도는 나의 전부입니다. 그리스도 안에서 나는 생명과 경건에 필요한 모든 것을 가지고 있습니다. 나는 승리하는 인생을 살며 모든 일에서 당신을 기쁘게 하기 위해 필요한 모든 것을 가지고 있습니다. 할렐루야!

You Have All Things In Him

“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”(Colossians 1:27).

The essence of Christianity, the glory and joy of all that Jesus came to do, is Christ in you. Christ in you is everything. Christ in you is heaven in you; it’s divinity in you. Now that you have Christ, you have everything. No wonder Paul said, “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21). Hallelujah!

Here’s something remarkable to ponder on: Romans 6:23 says, “…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” That’s a fundamental truth of the Gospel. However, as you get higher in the understanding of the Gospel, you’d discover that Jesus really doesn’t stand away and give you eternal life; He’s Himself eternal life. In giving you eternal life, He actually gave you Himself. Hallelujah.

The moment you come to terms with this reality, it’ll change your thinking and prayer life. You’d stop asking God for things. If it’s true that you have Christ (and thank God it’s true), what then could you possibly be in need of? Christ is everything, and everything is in Christ.

Stop asking God for what you already have in Christ. For example, don’t ask God for healing; take divine health, for it’s your nature in Christ Jesus. The victorious life is yours in Christ. Everything you require for an extraordinary life of glory and righteousness is already yours in Christ (2 Peter 1:3).

Now, you can understand why the Lord Jesus said in Luke 12:22, “Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.” He’s your sufficiency; in Him, you have all things. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Blessed Father, I thank you for giving me all things in Christ Jesus. Christ is my all; in Christ I have all that I require for life and godliness; I have all that I require to live triumphantly and please you in all things. Hallelujah!
