하나님을 위해 성공하십시오
Be A Success For God
“그러므로 너희가 그리스도와 함께 다시 살리심을 받았으면 위의 것을 찾으라 거기는 그리스도께서 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시느니라 위의 것을 생각하고 땅의 것을 생각하지 말라”(골 3:1-2)
우리 모두는 매우 성공하도록 하나님으로부터 운명 지어졌습니다. 그러나 당신은 자신의 삶을 향한 하나님의 계획을 알기 전까지는 진정으로 성공할 수 없습니다. 당신은 “자신”이나 당신을 응원하는 사람들을 위해 성공할 수도 있습니다. 그러나 하나님을 위해 성공하는 것이 중요합니다. “자신”을 위한 성공은 당신의 목표나 꿈을 성취한 것을 의미입니다. 세상을 위한 “성공”은 당신이 자신을 향한 세상의 꿈이나 기대를 성취했다는 뜻입니다. 그러나 그런 것들은 진정한 성공이 아닙니다. 진정한 성공이란 당신이 하나님의 목표와 꿈을 성취하는 것입니다.
성공이란 하나님의 부르심, 그분의 비전과 꿈과 계획을 바탕으로 이룬 성취를 뜻합니다. 그리고 그것은 반드시 인간의 방식이 아닌 하나님의 방식으로 성취되어야 합니다. 당신은 삶의 여러 다른 지점에서 성공을 판단합니다. 학업을 예로 들어보겠습니다. 당신이 A 수업을 들을 때 그 수업에서 시험을 잘 봤다면, 당신은 A 수업에서 성공한 것이지 B나 C 수업에서 성공한 것이 아닙니다. 이는 B나 C 수업을 듣고 있는 다른 사람에게도 똑같이 적용됩니다. 당신이 더 높은 수준의 수업을 듣게 된다면 그 수업에 맞는 기준과 요구사항에 따라 다시금 평가받게 될 것입니다. 따라서, 성공은 상대적입니다.
인생의 여러 단계에서 당신의 삶을 향한 하나님의 계획에 일치하여 매우 성공적이 되기로 결단하십시오. 당신에게 있어 다음의 질문들이 항상 가장 중요한 것이 되어야 합니다. 하나님이 원하시는 것은 무엇인가? 하나님은 어떻게 생각하시는가? 그것이 당신이 성공적인지 아닌지 알 수 있는 유일한 방법입니다. 그리고 그분의 뜻과 계획과 목적은 언제나 그분의 말씀 즉 성경과 일치한다는 점을 기억하십시오.
하나님이 어떻게 생각하시는지 관심 갖지 않는 사람들이 많이 있습니다. 심지어 어떤 사람들은 하나님이 그들의 삶에 대해 개별적인 계획을 가지고 계시지 않다고 생각합니다. 그러나 진리는, 하나님은 우리 각자에 대한 계획을 가지고 계시다는 것입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “여호와의 말이다. 내가 너희를 위해 갖고 있는 계획들을 내가 알고 있으니 그것은 평안을 위한 계획이지 재앙을 위한 것이 아니며 너희에게 미래와 소망을 주기 위한 것이다.”(렘 29:11, 우리말) 그분은 당신에게 관심을 가지실 뿐만 아니라 당신을 향한 계획을 가지고 계십니다. 당신은 그 계획을 알 수 있고, 그것은 실현 가능하며 또 성취되어야 합니다.
고백
사랑하는 주님, 내 삶을 향한 당신의 계획, 비전, 꿈, 목적으로 나를 이끄시고 인도하시니 감사합니다. 나의 열정은 오직 당신의 왕국을 확장하고, 그리스도의 사랑을 전하고, 전 세계 영혼들을 구원하는 것입니다. 나는 당신께 가장 중요한 일인 이 땅에 왕국의 영향력을 증가시키고, 전파하고, 침투시키는 일에 깊이 헌신합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BE A SUCCESS FOR GOD
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth (Colossians 3:1-2).
Each one of us is ordained of God to be very successful. But you can’t really be a success until you know God’s plan for your life. You could be a success for “you” or for those cheering you on; but being a success for God is what counts. A success for “you” means you’ve achieved your goals and your dreams. A success for the world means you’ve fulfilled the world’s dream and expectation of you. But these aren’t true success. True success means you’ve achieved God’s goals and dreams.
Success for life means your accomplishments on the basis of God’s calling, His vision, dream, and plans.
And it always has to be done in God’s way, not man’s way. You measure success at different points in your life. In academics, for example, if you were in class one and you were successful in your exams, that’s success in that class, not class two or three. Someone else who is in class two or three will be measured accordingly.
When you get to a higher class, you’ll again be rated by the corresponding standards and requirements of that class. So, success is relative. Be determined that at different stages of your life, you’ll be very successful in line with God’s plans for your life. The most important thing to you should always be: What does God want? What does He think?
That’s the only way you can know whether or not you’re successful. And remember, His will, plan and purpose will always be consistent with His Word?the Scriptures.
There’re many who don’t care to know what God thinks. Some don’t even think that God has an individual plan for their lives to care for them, but the truth is, He does. The Bible says, “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV). He not only cares, He has a plan that’s not only communicable, but one that can and must be actuated.
PRAYER
Dear Lord, thank you for leading and guiding me into your plans, visions, dreams and purpose for my life.
My only passion is the expansion of your Kingdom, propagating Christ’s love, and the salvation of souls around the world. I’m deeply committed to your heartbeat, increasing the influence, impact, spread and penetration of the Gospel here on earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
