우리 안에 있는 하나님의 충만
HIS FULLNESS IN US
“아버지께서는 모든 충만으로 예수 안에 거하게 하시고”(골1:19)
아브라함, 이삭, 야곱은 하나님을 엘 샤다이로 알고 있었지만 하나님께서는 모세에게 그분을 여호와로 소개하셨습니다(출애굽기6장). 구약의 소망은 임마누엘 – “하나님이 우리와 함께 계시다”(마1:23) 이라는 이름에 나타납니다.
그러나 하나님은 “임마누엘”로 만족하지 않으셨습니다. 골로새서 1:26-27에서 우리에게 계시된 것과 같이 그분의 계획은 달랐습니다. “이 비밀은 만세와 만대로부터 감추어졌던 것인데 이제는 그의 성도들에게 나타났고… 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라” 하나님을 송축합니다!
처음부터 하나님의 계획은 우리와 함께하거나 우리 가운데 있는 것이 아니라 그분의 충만으로 우리 안에 거하시는 것이었습니다. 당신은 하나님께서 당신과 함께 하신다는 사실에 춤을 추거나, 소리를 지르거나, 기뻐할 것입니다. 그러나 하나님의 내주하심의 실재와 성취가 당신의 영에 밝혀질 때까지 당신의 삶은 무의미할 것입니다. 당신의 영광의 삶은 그리스도께서 문자 그대로 당신 안에 사신다는 사실을 깨달으며 시작됩니다.
우리는 이 사실을 에베소서 3:17-19에 나오는 바울의 아름다운 기도를 통해 봅니다. “믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도께서 너희 마음에 계시게 하시옵고… 하나님의 모든 충만하신 것으로 너희로 충만하게 하시기를 구하노라” 하나님의 계획이 여기 등장합니다. 예수님께서 하나님의 충만으로 충만하셨던 것처럼 당신이 하나님의 모든 충만하신 것으로 충만하게 되는 것입니다.
당신이 해야 하는 역할이 있습니다. 당신이 해야 할 역할이 없다면 에베소서 3:14-16에 나오는 바울을 통한 성령님의 기도는 필요하지 않았을 것입니다. 그래서 하나님께서는 항상 성령으로 충만하라고 말씀하셨고, 에베소서 5:18-20은 어떻게 항상 성령으로 충만할 수 있는지 알려줍니다. “술 취하지 말라 이는 방탕한 것이니 오직 성령으로 충만함을 받으라 시와 찬송과 신령한 노래들로 서로 화답하며 너희의 마음으로 주께 노래하며 찬송하며 범사에 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 항상 아버지 하나님께 감사하며” 할렐루야!
기도
내 안에 계신 그리스도는 영광의 소망이십니다! 나는 항상 성령으로 충만할 수 있는 특권과 성령을 통한 승리와 다스림의 삶에 대해 영원히 감사드립니다! 나는 성령님의 인도를 받고, 내 삶을 향한 하나님의 계획과 목적을 성취하기 위해 그분과 일치됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

His Fullness In Us
“For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell”(Colossians 1:19).
Though Abraham, Isaac and Jacob knew God as El Shaddai, God introduced Himself to Moses as Jehovah (Exodus 6). On this was based the hope of the Old Testament, revealed in the name Emmanuel—“God, with us!” (Matthew 1:23).
But God wasn’t satisfied with “Emmanuel”; His plan was different as revealed to us in Colossians 1:26-27: “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints…which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Blessed be God!
God’s plan from the beginning wasn’t to be with us or amongst us but to be in us in His fullness. You may dance, scream and rejoice that God is with you; but until the reality and realization of His indwelling dawns on your spirit, your life will be empty. Your life of glory begins with the realization that Christ literally lives in you.
We see this in Paul’s beautiful prayer in Ephesians 3:17-19. It says, “… That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith…that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” That’s God’s plan right there: that you might be filled (replete) with all the fullness of God, as Jesus was filled with the fullness of God.
You have a role in this; otherwise, the Spirit’s prayer through Paul in Ephesians 3:14-16 wouldn’t have been necessary. That’s why He told you to be filled with the Spirit always, and Ephesians 5:18-20 shows you how: “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Christ in me is the hope of glory! I’m eternally grateful for the privilege to be filled with the Spirit always, for an all-day, all-time life of victory and dominion through the Holy Ghost! I’m led by the Spirit; synchronized with Him to fulfil God’s plan and purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
