A Constant Purification Process
“그가 빛 가운데 계신 것 같이 우리도 빛 가운데 행하면 우리가 서로 사귐이 있고 그 아들 예수의 피가 우리를 모든 죄에서 깨끗하게 하실 것이요”(요일 1:7)
저는 하나님의 말씀을 사랑합니다. 말씀을 따라 살면 삶의 스트레스가 사라지기 때문입니다. 당신은 고군분투할 필요가 없습니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용을 생각해 보십시오. 이는 당신이 그리스도 안에서 지속해서 깨끗게 되었으므로 죄를 의식할 필요가 없다는 뜻입니다.
당신이 해야 할 일은 주님께서 빛 가운데 계신 것처럼 빛 가운데 행하는 것입니다. 그분은 당신이 그렇게 할 때 예수 그리스도의 피가 당신을 모든 죄에서 깨끗게 하신다고 말씀하십니다. 자동으로 정결케 되는 것입니다. 주님은 예수 그리스도의 피로 당신을 모든 죄에서 깨끗게 해달라고 기도해야 한다고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다. 그분은 “예수의 피가 우리를 모든 죄에서 깨끗하게 하실 것이요” 말씀하십니다. 이는 당신에게 묻지 않고 일어나는 일입니다. 지속적인 깨끗게 하는 과정입니다.
이 과정이 왜 필요합니까? 우리 주변 세상이 죄와 어둠 가운데 있기 때문입니다. 그러나 빛 가운데 행하면 당신의 모든 잘못, 과오, 당신이 알지도 못했던 실수가 깨끗해 집니다. 그러므로 반드시 당신이 그분의 빛 가운데 기능하고 행하도록 하십시오. 그분의 빛은 그분의 말씀입니다.
예수님께서 “이제 너희는 내가 일러 준 말로 깨끗하게 되었으니”(요 15:3)라고 말씀하신 것을 기억하십시오. 그분의 말씀은 깨끗하게 하고 정화합니다. 당신이 거듭났지만 여전히 매주 구원을 위한 기도를 하고 있다면, 이는 당신이 뭔가 잘못되었음을 보여주는 다른 빛 아래서 자신을 바라보고 있기 때문일 것입니다.
하나님의 빛 아래서 자신을 보십시오. 그분의 빛은 당신이 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 의임을 보여줍니다. 이렇게 자신을 보고 그것에 맞게 행하십시오. 하나님의 빛은 하나님의 진리이고, 하나님의 진리는 하나님의 말씀입니다. 그러므로 빛 가운데 행한다는 것은 하나님의 말씀 안에서 행한다는 뜻이고, 하나님의 말씀은 당신이 살아 계신 하나님을 섬기도록 당신의 혼을 정결케 하고 당신의 양심으로 죽은 행실에서 깨끗하게 합니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내 안에서 역사하는 하나님의 은혜와 의의 능력에 감사드립니다! 내가 하나님의 빛 가운데 행할 때 나는 예수님의 보혈로 자동으로 깨끗게 되고 정결케 됩니다. 나는 예수 그리스도의 은혜로 의로워졌으며, 악한 자의 참소에서 벗어나 주님의 의 안에서 행합니다. 하나님의 의는 내 생각, 말, 행동으로 나타납니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

A CONSTANT PURIFICATION PROCESS
“But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).
I love the Word of God, because living according to what it says takes the stress out of life. It takes the struggle out of Christianity. Think about what we just read in our opening scripture; it simply means there’s no need for you to be sin-conscious because in Christ you’re constantly purified.
All you have to do is walk in the light as He is in the light. He says as you do, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you from all sin. It’s automatic cleansing. Notice He didn’t say you should pray for the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse you from sin. He says, “The blood of Jesus Christ, cleanses us from all sin,” meaning that it happens without you asking. It’s a constant purification process.
Why is this necessary? It’s because the world around us is smothered in sin and darkness. However, by walking in the light, all your errors, mistakes, and missteps that you didn’t even know about are cleansed. So be sure that you’re functioning or walking in His light; His light is His Word.
Remember what Jesus said, “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” His Word is a cleanser; it purifies. If you’ve been born again and still find yourself praying the prayer of salvation every week, that’ll be because you’re looking at yourself under a different light that’s showing you that something is wrong.
See yourself under God’s light. His light shows that you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. See yourself thus and walk accordingly. God’s light is God’s Truth, and God’s Truth is God’s Word. To walk in the light therefore means to walk in the Word of God which purifies your soul and purges your conscience from dead works, to serve the living God.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your grace and the power of your righteousness at work in me! As I walk in your light, I’m automatically cleansed and purified by the blood of Jesus. I’m justified by the grace of Jesus Christ, and I walk in His righteousness, free from the accusation of the evil one. Your righteousness is expressed in my thoughts, words and actions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
