“이유 없이” 의롭게 되었습니다
Justified “Without Cause”
“그리스도 예수 안에 있는 속량으로 말미암아 하나님의 은혜로 값 없이 의롭다 하심을 얻은 자 되었느니라”(롬 3:24)
로마서 4:24은 주 예수님이 우리의 범죄함 때문에 내줌이 되시고 우리를 의롭다 하시기 위해 살아나셨다고 말합니다. 의롭다 하심은 무죄 선언, 즉 죄가 없다고 선고받는 것을 의미합니다. 어떻게 이런 일이 일어났습니까?
예수님께서 죽으시고 장사 되었을 때, 의의 관점에서 우리도 그분과 함께 죽고 장사되었습니다. 그분이 살아나셨을 때, 우리도 함께 일으킴을 받아 새로운 피조물이 되었습니다. 이는 아버지께서 예수님에 대해 다음과 같이 말씀하실 때 일어난 일입니다. “… 너는 내 아들이니 내가 오늘 너를 낳았다 하셨고”(히 5:5, 시 2:7)
예수님께서 죽은 자 가운데 살아나셨을 때, 그분은 다시 태어나셨습니다. 바로 거기서 우리, 즉 교회가 태어난 것입니다. 우리는 십자가가 아닌 부활에서 났습니다. 하나님께는 예수님이 부활하실 때 당신도 부활하여 새로운 피조물로 다시 태어난 것입니다. 당신은 예수님 안에 있었기 때문입니다.
고린도후서 5:17은 말합니다. “그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다” 이제 거듭난 당신에게 과거는 없습니다. 그렇다면 당신의 과거는 어떻게 되었습니까? 당신의 과거는 예수님과 함께 죽었습니다. 예수님이 죽으셨을 때, 온 세상이 그분 안에서 죽었기 때문입니다. 따라서, 그분의 부활로 모든 사람이 새로운 생명을 얻어야 합니다. 할렐루야!
그러므로 당신이 거듭났을 때 당신이 의롭게 태어났다고 하는 것입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “그리스도 예수 안에 있는 속량으로 말미암아 하나님의 은혜로 값 없이 의롭다 하심을 얻은 자 되었느니라”(롬 3:24) 이 구절에서 “값없이”라는 단어는 그리스어 “도리안(dorean)”에서 번역되었으며, 이는 “이유 없이”라는 뜻입니다. 의롭게 하심을 얻었다는 것은 의롭다고 선포된 것입니다.
이는 당신이 이유 없이 의롭다 하심을 받고 의롭다고 선포되었음을 의미합니다. 당신은 의롭게 되기 위해서 어떤 일을 한 것이 아닙니다. 아버지의 은혜로 된 것입니다. 당신은 그렇게 거듭났습니다. “… 이는 아버지의 영광으로 말미암아 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리심과 같이 우리로 또한 새 생명 가운데서 행하게 하려 함이라”(롬 6:4) 하나님을 송축합니다!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 나를 새 생명으로 인도하신 주 예수님의 죽으심과 장사되심과 부활하심에 감사드립니다. 이제 나는 그리스도 예수 안에서 새로운 피조물이 되었고, 주 예수 이름 안에서 성령으로 말미암아 새롭게 태어나 아버지의 은혜로 의롭게 되었습니다. 아멘.

JUSTIFIED “WITHOUT CAUSE”
“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24)
In Romans 4:24, The Bible tells us that the Lord Jesus was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification (Romans 4:24-25). Justification means acquittal, to be declared not guilty. How did this happen?
First, when Jesus died and was buried, in the mind of justice, we died and were buried with Him. When He was raised back to life, we were raised together with Him a new creation. It happened at the same instance that God said of Him, “…Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee” (Psalm 2:7; Hebrews 5:5).
Jesus was born again when He was raised from the dead. That’s where we—the Church—came from. We came from the resurrection, not from the Cross. In the mind of God, when Jesus resurrected, you resurrected, you were born a new creature because you were in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:17, says, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Now that you’re born again, you’re without a past. The question then is, what happened to your past? It died with Jesus, because when Jesus died, the whole world died in Him. So, by His resurrection, all men should have a new life. Hallelujah!
That’s why, when you were born again, you were born justified. The Bible says, “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24). The word “freely” is translated from the Greek, “dōrean” meaning “without cause.” To be justified is also to be declared righteous.
This means you were justified, declared righteous, without cause; you didn’t have to do something about it to make it happen. It was by His grace; you were born that way. Now He says, “… as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4). Blessed be God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus which ushered me into a newness of life. Now I’m a new creature in Christ Jesus, born anew, and justified by your grace, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of the Lord. Amen.
