날마다 기뻐하십시오
Joyful Every Day
“지금까지는 너희가 내 이름으로 아무 것도 구하지 아니하였으나 구하라 그리하면 받으리니 너희 기쁨이 충만하리라”(요 16:24)
오늘의 본문 구절은 아버지의 마음과 우리를 향한 그분의 갈망을 보여줍니다. 하나님은 항상 당신의 기쁨이 충만하기를 원하십니다. 기뻐하는 것은 하나님의 왕국에서 매우 중요하기 때문입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “기쁘고 즐거운 심령은 몸과 혼에 치유를 가져다 준다…”(잠 17:22, TPT번역본)
당신이 마주한 상황이 어떠하든지 상관없습니다. 기쁨을 발산하십시오. 항상 기뻐하십시오. 우리의 기쁨에 대한 아름다운 점은 우리의 기쁨이 성령의 기쁨이라는 것입니다. 따라서 우리의 기쁨은 환경과 상관이 없습니다. “하나님의 나라는 먹는 것과 마시는 것이 아니요 오직 성령 안에 있는 의와 평강과 희락이라”(롬 14:17)
우리는 역경과 박해 가운데서도 기쁨으로 충만합니다. “내 형제들아 너희가 여러 가지 시험을 당하거든 온전히 기쁘게 여기라”(약 1:2) 이는 당신의 삶에 좌절의 여지가 없다는 뜻입니다. 다른 사람들이 당신과 접촉할 때 그들은 이루 말할 수 없는 영광으로 가득 찬 기쁨을 경험하게 됩니다.
성경은 우리에게 이스라엘 백성에 관해 이야기합니다. 그들은 예루살렘 성벽을 재건한 뒤 제사를 드리고 기뻐했습니다. 그들이 기뻐하는 소리가 멀리서도 들릴 정도였습니다. “이 날에 무리가 큰 제사를 드리고 심히 즐거워하였으니 이는 하나님이 크게 즐거워하게 하셨음이라 부녀와 어린 아이도 즐거워하였으므로 예루살렘이 즐거워하는 소리가 멀리 들렸느니라”(느 12:43) 이 구절은 기쁨에는 표현이 있음을 알려줍니다. 웃음소리, 감사하는 가운데 찬양하는 노래소리는 기쁨의 표현입니다.
따라서 오늘날 세상에서 일어나는 끔찍한 일들에도 불구하고 날마다 기쁨으로 충만하십시오. 당신의 삶에 우울할 틈을 주지 마십시오. 당신의 안으로부터 기쁨과 즐거움을 만들어내고 풀어내십시오.
고백
나는 항상 찬양이 넘치며 이루 말할 수 없는 영광으로 가득 찬 기쁨을 표현합니다. 주님을 기뻐하는 것이 나의 힘이기 때문입니다. 나의 기쁨은 환경과 상관이 없습니다. 나의 기쁨은 내 속사람으로부터 나오며 환경을 초월합니다. 나의 기쁨은 영원하며 나를 계속해서 강건하게 하고 살아있게 합니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

JOYFUL EVERY DAY
“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:24).
Our opening scripture reveals the heart of the Father and His desire for us: He wants your joy to be full always. That’s because being joyful is very important in the Kingdom of God. The Bible says “A joyful, cheerful heart brings healing to both body and soul…” (Proverbs 17:22 TPT).
It makes no difference what situations you face; exude joy; rejoice evermore. The beautiful part is that our joy is of the Holy Ghost and therefore, it’s independent of circumstances: “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (Romans 14:17).
We’re full of joy even in the face of adversities and persecution: “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations” (James 1:2). That means no room for frustration in your life. When others come in contact with you they experience joy unspeakable and full of glory.
The Bible tells us about the children of Israel; how their joy was heard afar off as they offered great sacrifices and rejoiced after rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem: “Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.” That lets you know that joy has expressions. Laughter, singing songs of praise in thanksgiving are expressions of joy.
So, despite the terrible things happening in the world today, be full of joy every day. Give no place to gloom in your life. Generate and release joy and excitement from inside you.
CONFESSION
I’m exuberant with praise always, expressing joy unspeakable and full of glory, because the joy of the Lord is my strength. My joy is independent of circumstances; it comes from my inner man and transcends circumstances. My joy is permanent, and it keeps me strong and alive. Glory to God!
