The Word of God shows you the principles of prosperity, but it’s up to you to apply them and change your estate. As much as He wants you prosperous, as much as He wants you healthy, happy and strong, you have a vital role in making His dream for you come to reality. He said in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness….” He’s already done everything and given you everything you require for an extraordinary life of success, and extraordinary prosperity.

Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). What then? Act on the Word! If there’s a situation in your life you want changed, the Word is your answer. Trust the Word. Meditate on it day and night as He has said.

That isn’t something God or anyone can do for you. But 1 Timothy 4:15 tells you the inevitable result: your progress and prosperity will “appear to all”—“phaneros” (Greek); that means apparent, undeniable and unending; it’ll spread abroad. Hallelujah!

“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord”(Ephesians 5:19).

The phrase “spiritual songs” in the verse above means songs of the spirit. The Apostle Paul referenced the same in 1 Corinthians 14:14-15 when he talked about singing in tongues—singing in the spirit: “For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also” (1 Corinthians 14:14-15).

You may sing and worship the Lord in your understanding, and that’s okay, but ascend higher; sing songs of the Spirit, from your spirit! Worship and relate from your spirit; it’s a deeper fellowship.

Your songs of the spirit are songs of worship and praise to the Lord. Those listening to you may not like the tune or harmony; but it makes no difference. You’re not singing to them; you’re singing to the Lord! You’re making melodies of worship to the Lord, just as praying in tongues isn’t unto men but unto God (1 Corinthians 14:2).

Worshipping in the spirit brings about a divine exchange; as your spirit passes words in the spirit to God, the Holy Spirit imparts information to your spirit. When you’re through with such sessions of worship and fellowship, you’re full of the Spirit, and are in dominion. At that point, nothing moves you. You’re more than certain of your victory. Your spirit has the dominion!

Christianity is a life of the spirit, lived from the inside out. Therefore, learn to worship the Lord in the spirit, with your spirit, and by the Holy Spirit: “For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh” (Philippians 3:3).

The Restrainer Of Evil

성경은 세 종류의 악을 억제하는 자들에 대해 말합니다. 첫번째 제지자는 정부입니다. 로마서 13:1-4은 하나님으로부터 임명 받은 권세들과 그들이 악을 막도록 세워졌다고 말합니다. 두번째 제지자는 성령님이십니다. 예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “그분(성령)께서 오셔서 죄에 대하여, 의에 대하여, 심판에 대하여 세상을 꾸짖으시리라” (요16:8 한글킹제임스).

세번째 제지자는 교회입니다. 예수님께서는 우리가 세상의 빛이라 말씀하셨습니다(마 5:14). 빛이 나타나면 어둠은 도망갑니다. 이 셋 중 교회는 성령의 권능으로 악을 제지합니다. 성경은 악의 제지자가 “옮겨질 것”이라고 말합니다. 그렇다면 이 악의 제지자는 확실히 정부를 가리키는 것은 아닙니다. 적그리스도가 통치하는 동안에도 정부들이 있을 것이기 때문입니다. 사실 적그리스도는 와서 정부를 세울 것입니다.

또한 성령님은 적그리스도가 드러난 이후에도 이 땅을 떠나지 않으실 것입니다. 그분은 휴거 후에 144,000명의 유대인들이 이 땅에서 사역을 수행하게 하실 것이기 때문입니다. 성경은 대환란 중에 많은 무리의 사람들이 주님에게 심령을 드렸다고 말합니다. 그리고 이 사람들이 구원받을 수 있었던 유일한 방법은 성령의 사역을 통해서 입니다.

그러므로 악의 제지자들 중 교회만이 적그리스도가 나타나기 전에 옮겨질 것입니다. 하나님께서는 교회가 오늘날 악을 제지하길 바라십니다. 우리는 세상의 빛과 소금입니다(마5:13,14). 우리가 어떤 일을 명하면 그 일은 나타납니다. 사탄은 열방 위에 군림할 수 없습니다. 사탄은 그가 원하는 대로 이 세상의 나라들과 사람들의 삶을 그의 악함으로 끌어들일 수 없습니다. 우리가 사탄을 계속하여 압박하고 있기 때문입니다. 우리는 지속적으로 사탄을 제지하고, 휴거가 있기 전까지 예수 그리스도를 통하여 이 땅에서 영광스럽게 다스릴 것입니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

The Restrainer Of Evil

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way”(2 Thessalonians 2:7 ESV).

There’re three restrainers of evil the Bible talks about; one is the Government. Romans 13:1-4 tells us that the powers that be are ordained of God and that they’re established to restrain evil. The second restrainer of evil is the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “And when He (the Holy Spirit) has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8 NKJV).

The third restrainer of evil is the Church. Jesus said we’re the light of the world (Matthew 5:14), and when light shines, darkness recedes. Among these three restrainers of evil, the Church is the one who retrains evil by the power of the Holy Spirit. The scripture states that the restrainer will be “taken out of the way”. That certainly wouldn’t be referring to Government, because there’ll be governments during the reign of the Antichrist. In fact, when the Antichrist comes, he’ll establish a government.

Also, the Holy Spirit won’t be removed from the earth after the Antichrist is revealed, because He’s going to cause 144,000 Jewish men to carry out ministry in the earth after the Rapture. The Bible tells us a large multitude of people gave their hearts to the Lord during the Great Tribulation, and the only way those people could have been saved is through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

So, out of the three restrainers of evil, only the Church will be taken away before the Antichrist is manifested. The church is expected by God to restrain evil today. We’re the light of the world and the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13 & 14). When we decree a thing, it’s established unto us. Satan can’t lord it over the nations; he can’t perpetuate his wickedness in the nations of the world and in the lives of men as he desires to because we’re putting him in check. We’ll continue to restrain him and reign gloriously in the earth by Jesus Christ until the Rapture takes place. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Thank you, Lord, for your grace upon your Church as we reign by grace through righteousness, illuminating the nations and hearts of men with your light and truth. We restrain the forces of darkness from lording it over the nations; your righteousness, peace, mercy and truth prevail in our streets, in our schools, cities and nations, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

우리는 마지막 날에 있으며, 당신은 하나님의 말씀의 지식 안에서 걷는 법을 배워야 합니다. 우리는 성경이 말하는 “어렵거나 고통하는 때”의 시대에 살고 있습니다. 리빙 바이블은 오늘의 본문 구절을 다음과 같이 번역합니다. “디모데야, 말세에 그리스도인이 되는 것이 매우 어려울 것이라는 것을 너도 잘 알 것이다.”

돈과 세상적인 인정 때문에 타협하며 결정하는 사람들이 있습니다. 이에 따른 결과로 그들은 잘못된 일들을 합니다. 그리스도인의 행보와 맞지 않는 일을 합니다. 당신이 이렇게 되어서는 안 됩니다. 그것이 대중적인 의견이라는 이유로 선택하지 마십시오. 군중을 따르지 마십시오.

예수님께서 하신 말씀을 기억하십시오. “좁은 문으로 들어가라 멸망으로 인도하는 문은 크고 그 길이 넓어 그리로 들어가는 자가 많고 생명으로 인도하는 문은 좁고 길이 협착하여 찾는 자가 적음이라”(마7:13-14). 이 말씀은 매우 교훈적입니다.

Refuse To Compromise

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away”(2 Timothy 3:1-5).

We’re in the last days, and you have to learn to walk in the knowledge of God’s Word. We’re in what the Bible shows as “difficult or perilous times.” Here’s how the living Bible renders verse one of our opening scripture: “You may as well know this too, Timothy, that in the last days it is going to be very difficult to be a Christian” (2 Timothy 3:1 TLB).

Why is it going to be difficult for some? It’s because of the choices they have to make; unpopular choices. I’m talking about such choices as standing for truth and righteousness, refusing to compromise your faith, sticking to the Word—doing what the Word says—rather than what’s convenient.

There’re those who are going to compromise and make decisions because of money and earthly favours. As a result, they’ll do the wrong things; things that aren’t consistent with the Christian walk. That shouldn’t be you. Don’t make a decision in life because it’s popular opinion; never follow the crowd.

Remember what Jesus said: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). This is very instructive.

Let the knowledge of God’s Word—the wisdom of God—guide the choices and decisions you make. It makes no difference that you’re the only one taking a stand for Jesus Christ and for the Gospel in your estate, neighbourhood, school or place of work; keep at it. Refuse to compromise. Rather, remain, “…stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58).

PRAYER

Dear Father, your wisdom is manifested more and more in and through your Church, and your Word is growing strong in our hearts more than ever before. We are filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, always abounding in the work of the Lord, strong in faith, and giving glory to God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Are You Expecting Him?

이와 같이 그리스도도 많은 사람의 죄를 담당하시려고 단번에 드리신 바 되셨고 구원에 이르게 하기 위하여 죄와 상관없이 자기를 바라는 자들에게 두 번째 나타나시리라 (히9:28)

성경은 모든 것의 끝이 가깝다고 알려 줍니다. 주님의 재림이 아주 가까워졌습니다. “만물의 마지막이 가까이 왔으니 그러므로 너희는 정신을 차리고 근신하여 기도하라”(벧전4:7). 그렇다면 당신은 예수님의 재림을 바라보고 있습니까? 예수님을 기다리고 있습니까?

예수님의 재림을 심각하게 받아들이지 않는 그리스도인들이 있습니다. 그러므로 그들은 하나님과의 관계를 가볍게 생각하고 그들의 기독교에 대해 안일합니다. 그들은 성경(마태복음 25장)이 말하는 주인의 재림을 기대하고 있지 않다가 마침내 주인이 오셨을 때 준비되지 않은 5명의 어리석은 처녀들과 같습니다.

이렇게 말하는 사람들과 함께 있지 마십시오: “예수님께서 속히 오실 것이라는 이 말씀은 너무 오래됐어. 도대체 그 일은 언제쯤 일어날까?” 이런 사람들은 주님을 기대하지 않았기 때문에 결국 일어날 때 깨닫지 못한 채 이 일을 맞이하게 될 것입니다. 성경은 예수님을 바라는 자들에게만 구원을 위해 죄가 없는 모습으로 두번째 나타나실 것이라고 말씀합니다. 오늘날 세계 곳곳에서 일어나는 일들과 사건들은 그분의 나타나심이 임박하다는 분명한 징표입니다.

“자고 있다”가 주님을 맞이하지 마십시오. 사도 바울이 데살로니가전서 5:6에서 자지 말라고 경고할 때, 그는 육신적인 수면을 말한 것이 아닙니다. 그는 영적인 수면상태, 곧 당신이 이 세상의 것들에 깊이 빠져서 당신 주변에 있는 영적인 실재들을 깨닫지 못하는 망각의 상태에 대해 말했습니다. 예수님께서는 우리에게 깨어 기도하라고 말씀하셨습니다. “…생각하지 않은 때에 인자가 오리라”(마24:44).

Are You Expecting Him?

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation”(Hebrews 9:28).

The Bible lets us know that the end of all things is near; the coming of the Lord is so close: But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer (1 Peter 4:7). The question is, are you watching for His return? Are you expecting Him?

There’re Christians who aren’t taking this seriously; therefore, they’re casual with their relationship with God and complacent about their Christianity. They’re like the 5 foolish virgins the Bible talks about (Matthew 25) who weren’t expecting the return of their master and were unprepared when he eventually came.

Don’t be among those who say, “This talk of Jesus coming soon has been on for ages; when is it ever going to happen?” Such folks will be caught unawares when it eventually happens because they weren’t expecting Him. The Bible says only those who are expecting Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation. The events and happenings around the world today are clear indications that His appearing is imminent.

Don’t be caught “sleeping.” When the Apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:6 admonished us not to sleep, he wasn’t talking about physical sleep. He was talking about spiritual sleep, when you’re so deep into worldly things that you become unaware and oblivious of the spiritual realities around you. Jesus told us to watch and pray, “…for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 24:44).

하나님은 말씀으로 우리를 인도하십니다

He Guides Us Through The Word

“지금 내가 여러분을 주와 및 그 은혜의 말씀에 부탁하노니 그 말씀이 여러분을 능히 든든히 세우사 거룩하게 하심을 입은 모든 자 가운데 기업이 있게 하시리라”(행20:32)

어떤 사람들은 하나님으로부터 특정한 꿈과 계시를 받았다고 믿어서 결국 자신의 믿음의 여정이 침몰하게 됩니다. 신약시대에서 하나님은 꿈으로 우리를 인도하지 않으십니다. 그분은 말씀과 성령으로 우리를 인도하십니다. 우리는 언제나 우리의 영과 말씀을 통해 우리를 인도하고 이끄시는 성령님께 의지할 수 있습니다.

그럼 당신은 바로 이렇게 물을 수도 있겠습니다. “그럼 사도행전 2:17이 말하고 있는 내용은 어떻습니까? 이것은 하나님께서 여전히 꿈을 통해 인도하신다는 뜻이 아닙니까?” 아니요, 하나님은 꿈으로 인도하지 않으십니다. 꿈은 오감으로 지식을 받아드리는 세대를 위한 것입니다. 성령님이 오신 이후, 신약의 그 어떤 사도나 다른 사람들도 꿈으로 사역한 일이 없습니다. 하지만 성령님께서는 환상이나 예언으로 주어지는 계시, 내적 증거, 그리고 여러 성령의 은사로 인도하십니다.

그러나 말씀과 일치하지 않는 모든 환상, 예언, 계시는 하나님으로부터 온 것이 아닙니다. 오랜 그리스도인인 한 남성의 이야기가 생각납니다. 그는 어느 날 누군가가 샌들과 흰옷을 입고 구름에 싸여 방 안으로 걸어 들어오는 환상을 보았습니다. 그는 걸어 들어온 사람의 얼굴을 보려고 서서히 고개를 들었는데, 그 형체가 갑자기 말하길, “너를 낫게 하는 것은 내 뜻이 아니다” 라고 말하고 사라졌다고 얘기했습니다.

그는 곧바로 이 분이 예수님이라고 믿었습니다. 그가 하나님의 임재를 “느꼈기” 때문입니다. 그때부터 그 남성은 자신을 치유하는 것은 하나님의 뜻이 아니라고 믿었습니다. 그것이 예수님이 나타나신 거라고 그가 생각하게 만든 것은 도대체 무엇입니까? 그 사람이 흰 옷을 입었기 때문입니까? 그 사람이 구름에 싸여 나타났기 때문입니까?

이는 그 환상이 예수님이었다고 가정하기에 충분한 이유가 되지 않습니다. 만약 당신이 환상에서 성경과 일치하지 어떤 음성을 듣는다면 의심해보아야 합니다. 그렇다면 이 문제에서 해야 할 질문은 이것입니다. 하나님은 사람들이 강건하기를 원하십니까? 당연히 그렇습니다! 요한삼서 1:2을 읽어보십시오. 하나님은 절대 이와 반대되는 말을 하시려고 당신의 꿈이나 환상에 나타나지 않으실 것입니다. 그분은 결코 모순된 말을 하지 않으십니다. 모든 계시는 하나님의 말씀에 복종해야 합니다! 이것이 바로 당신이 말씀을 공부하고 스스로 알아야 하는 이유입니다.

기도

He Guides Us Through The Word

“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified”(Acts 20:32).

Some people have made shipwreck of their faith because they believed certain dreams and revelations they claimed came from God. In the New Testament, God doesn’t lead us through dreams. He guides us through the Word, and through the Holy Spirit. We can always depend on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us through our spirits and through the Word.

You might be quick to ask, “How about Acts 2:17? Doesn’t it indicate that God still leads through dreams?” No, He doesn’t. Dreams were for the sense-knowledge generation of men. Since the Holy Spirit came, you don’t find the apostles or anyone in the New Testament being ministered to in a dream. The Holy Spirit nonetheless, does lead by visions and other revelations as prophecy, the inward witness, and other gifts of the Spirit.

However, any vision, prophecy or revelation that doesn’t align with the Word is not from God. It brings to mind the story of a certain man who had been a Christian for many years and had a vision where someone walked into the room, wearing sandals and a white robe, and covered with a cloud. He recounted that as he looked from the person’s feet upwards to make out his face, the image suddenly spoke and said, “It’s not my will to heal you” and disappeared.

He immediately believed it was Jesus, because he said he “felt” the presence of God. From then on, he believed it wasn’t God’s will to heal him. What made him think it was Jesus who appeared to him? Was it because the person was in a white robe? Was it because the person was covered with a cloud?

Those aren’t enough reasons to assume it was Jesus. If, in a vision, you heard a voice that tells you something that’s inconsistent with the Scriptures, then it’s questionable. The question to ask is, does God want people well? Emphatically yes! Read 3 John 1:2. He’ll never come to you in a dream or vision to tell you anything contrary. He never contradicts Himself. Every revelation must be subjected to the Word of God! This is the reason you must study the Word and know it for yourself.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the immeasurable blessing of your Word, and the Holy Spirit who guides me in your perfect will always. Your Word is my light, and I’m blessed always to receive the accurate guidance I need to deal wisely, enjoying my blessed life of righteousness in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

성경은 하나님이 마음을 살피신다고 말합니다. 하나님은 당신의 마음의 생각과 의도를 분별하십니다. 그렇기 때문에 그분은 당신이 항상 마음을 살피고, 당신 안에 있는 신성한 본성과 일치하지 않는 모든 것을 제거하기를 원하십니다. 하나님은 항상 당신 마음에 사랑과 겸손이 있기를 원하십니다

하나님은 당신이 다른 사람을 경멸하는 눈으로 보거나 대하는 것을 원치 않으십니다. 그분은 당신이 다른 사람을 믿을 만큼 겸손하기를 바라십니다. 주님께서 당신을 사용하실 수 있는 만큼 그들 또한 사용하실 수 있음을 믿기를 원하십니다. 당신의 가족, 직장 또는 교회에서 누군가가 칭찬받는 놀라운 일을 하고 있을 때, 경멸하며 비웃지 마십시오. 순수하게 그들의 업적을 축하하십시오.

주님께서 다른 사람의 삶에서 놀라운 일을 행하실 때, 진정으로 주님을 송축하고 그분을 찬양하며 경배하는 법을 배우십시오. 다른 사람들이 당신보다 높아지는 것처럼 보일 때, 이것이 당신에게 상처가 되서는 안 됩니다. 그들을 위해 기쁨으로 충만해지십시오. 다른 사람의 성공은 당신이 실패했다는 의미가 아닙니다. 따라서 다른 이의 성공을 기뻐하십시오. 이런 사랑과 겸손이 당신 마음에서 보일 때 하나님은 당신을 높이실 것입니다. 그분은 겸손한 자를 높이십니다.

하나님은 그분께서 우리를 통해 무슨 일을 하시든 우리가 교만해지는 것을 원하지 않으십니다. 하나님을 자랑하고 그분이 어떻게 당신을 지으셨는지 자랑하십시오. 당신의 삶에 나타난 그분의 영광을 자랑하십시오. 그러나 결코 다른 사람보다 자신을 높이지 마십시오. 로마서 12:3은 말합니다. “내게 주신 은혜로 말미암아 너희 각 사람에게 말하노니 마땅히 생각할 그 이상의 생각을 품지 말고 오직 하나님께서 각 사람에게 나누어 주신 믿음의 분량대로 지혜롭게 생각하라”

로마서 12:10은 말합니다. “형제 사랑으로 서로 우애하고, 존경하기를 서로 먼저 하는 것이니라.” 성경은 말합니다. “겸손과 여호와를 경외함의 보상은 재물과 영광과 생명이니라”(잠22:4). 할렐루야! 사랑스럽고, 은혜롭고, 탁월하며, 겸손하다고 알려진 사람이 되십시오.

Love And Humility In Your Heart

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble”(James 4:6).

The Bible says God searches the heart; He discerns the thoughts and intents of your heart. That’s why He wants you to watch your heart always, and rid it of anything that’s inconsistent with the divine nature in you. Always, He wants to see love and humility in your heart.

He doesn’t want you to look at or treat anyone with disdain. He wants you to be humble enough to believe in others; believe the Lord can use them as much as He can use you. Perhaps in your family, workplace or in your church, someone does something remarkable that’s being commended, don’t sneer in disdain. Genuinely celebrate others for their accomplishments.

Learn to sincerely bless the Lord, praise and worship Him when He does something remarkable in another person’s life. When it seems others are esteemed above you, it shouldn’t hurt you; be full of joy for them. Another person’s success doesn’t mean that you’re failing. Therefore, celebrate the success of others. When God sees such love and humility in your heart, He’ll promote you. He exalts the humble.

No matter what God does through us, He never wants us to be proud. Be proud of Him, and what He’s made you. Be proud of His glory in your life, but never exalt yourself above someone else. Romans 12:3 says, “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith”

The 10th verse says, “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.” The Bible says, “By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life” (Proverbs 22:4). Hallelujah! Be that man or woman who’s known for being loving, gracious, excellent and humble.

CONFESSION

I’m loving, gracious, excellent, humble and kind! I see and celebrate God’s beauty, glory and greatness in others. In all that I do, my motives are right and void of selfishness. I rejoice genuinely at the exploits and successes of others, and refuse to compare myself with anyone, knowing that I’m unique, and my life is for the glory of God! Hallelujah!

Partakers Of The Inheritance

주님은 얼마나 은혜로우시고 사랑이 많으신지요! 오늘의 본문 구절을 생각해 보십시오. 이것은 약속이 아닙니다. 하나님께서 이미 행하신 일입니다.

에베소서 1:11은 우리가 그분 안에서 유업을 얻었다고 말씀합니다. 에베소서 3:8는 그 유업의 한 부분은 헤아릴 수 없는 부요함이라고 설명합니다. “…헤아릴 수 없는(끝이 없는, 바닥이 없는, 측량할 수 없는, 마르지 않는) 그리스도의 부요함[어떤 사람도 찾을 수 없었던 부요함]을 내가 이방인들 가운데 선포하게 하고.”

온 세상이 예수 그리스도께 속해 있습니다. 예수님이 모든 밭을 사셨습니다. 성경은 땅과 거기 충만한 것이 주의 것이라고 말합니다. 로마서 8:17은 우리가 예수님과 함께 공동상속자라고 말합니다. 이는 하나님의 말씀에 적혀 있는 절대적인 진리입니다. 고린도전서 3:21-22은 말합니다. “…다 너희 것임이라 바울이나 아볼로나 게바나 세상이나…다 너희의 것이요.”

또 하나님이 당신을 그분과의 교제 가운데로 부르셨고 그분과 당신이 하나 되게 하셨다는 사실을 생각해 보십시오. 이 하나가 모든 것을 설명합니다. 하나님은 그분 자신을 당신에게 주셨습니다! 이보다 더 큰 것이 어디 있겠습니까? 이제 당신은 하나님의 영광과 은혜와 의에 참여하는 자입니다. 하나님의 신성한 성품에 참여하는 자입니다. 이 진리는 엄청납니다!

이것이 바로 당신이 삶을 담대하게 살고, 두려움이나 부족함의 개념 없이 살아야 하는 이유입니다. 당신이 우주를 다스리는 통치자의 상속자이기 때문입니다. 하나님께서 당신에게 주신 이 특별한 축복의 삶은 당신이 한 “선한 일” 또는 당신의 의로운 행위의 결과가 아닙니다. 하나님의 은혜의 역사입니다. 하나님께서 당신이 복음의 축복의 풍성함을 상속받고 그 안에서 살 수 있는 자격을 부여하셨습니다. 말씀을 공부하며 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 유업과 놀라운 축복을 더 알아가고 그 축복 속에서 날마다 살아가십시오.

기도

복되신 아버지, 그리스도 안에서 내게 주신 특별한 축복의 삶에 감사드립니다. 나를 당신과의 교제 가운데로 불러 주시고, 나를 영광과 은혜와 의의 상속자로 만들어 주심을 감사합니다. 나는 오늘 번영과 건강과 평안 가운데 걷습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Partakers Of The Inheritance

“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light”(Colossians 1:12).

How gracious and loving the Lord is! Think about what we just read in our opening verse: it’s not a promise, but something He’s already done. He qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.

Ephesians 1:11 says in Him we have obtained an inheritance. Part of that inheritance is described for us in Ephesians 3:8 (AMPC) as unsearchable riches: “…to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out].”

The whole world belongs to Jesus Christ; He bought the whole field. The Bible says the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Romans 8:17 says we’re joint-heirs with Him. Thus, part of your inheritance is the whole world. This is absolute truth from God’s Word. 1 Corinthians 3:21-22 says, “…For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world…all are yours.”

Then, think about the fact that God brought you into fellowship with Himself and made you one with Himself; it explains it all. He gave you Himself! What could be greater than that? Now you’re a partaker of His glory, grace, and righteousness; a partaker of His divine nature. This is huge!

It’s the reason you must be bold in your life, and live without fear or sense of lack or want, because you’re the heir of the Monarch of the universe. This life of extraordinary blessings that He’s given you isn’t the result of your “good works” or personal deeds of righteousness; it’s His grace at work. He qualified you to inherit and walk in the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel. Study the Word to know more of your inheritance and wonderful blessings in Christ and live in those blessings every day.

PRAYER

I thank you blessed Father for the extraordinary life of blessings you’ve given me in Christ; thank you for bringing me into fellowship with you, making me a partaker of your glory, grace, and righteousness. I walk in prosperity, health and peace today, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
