Understanding The Word
“태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라”(요 1:1)
그리스도인으로서 말씀을 이해하는 것은 너무나도 중요합니다. 말씀을 이해하는 것은 당신이 일반적인 수준을 넘어서서 성경의 개념들을 이해하도록 도와줍니다. 그러면 말씀에 대한 당신의 접근이 달라질 것입니다. 말씀을 이해하지 못하면 그것을 당신의 삶과 상황에 어떻게 적용할지 모를 것이기 때문에 말씀을 이해하는 것이 중요합니다.
말씀은 곧 하나님 그분 자신입니다. 우리가 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용이 바로 이것입니다. 하나님께서 당신에게 말씀하실 때, 그분은 당신에게 그분 자신이 말씀하신 그대로가 됩니다. 말씀을 공부할 때마다 당신은 영을 먹이고 말씀 그대로의 삶을 살 수 있게 됩니다. 그러면 당신은 그리스도인의 삶이 매일 기쁨과 즐거움으로 가득하다는 것을 발견하게 됩니다.
내년의 목표를 설정할 때 말씀을 공부하고, 말씀을 찾고 묵상하는데 양질의 시간을 내는 것을 최우선 순위로 삼으십시오. 이는 당신이 자신의 일과 사역, 그리고 다가올 새해에 주님께서 당신에게 시키신 일들에 더 효과적일 수 있도록 계시를 받고, 정보를 얻고, 새로워지고, 힘을 얻고, 은혜를 받게 할 것입니다. 세상의 기초가 놓이기 전에 그분께서 당신을 위해 예비해 놓으신 그 길을 걷고 있다는 것을 깨닫게 될 것입니다.
당신의 삶에는 목적이 있으며, 당신을 향한 하나님의 목적은 당신이 말씀과 성령과 교제할 때 계시되고 더 분명해진다는 점을 기억하십시오. 하나님께서는 성경을 통해 당신에게 통찰력을 주실 것입니다. 그분은 당신이 지금 깨닫고 삶에 적용할 수 있는 생각들을 주실 것입니다. 그러면 그분의 지혜가 말씀을 통해 전달되고 당신의 심령에 넘쳐서, 당신이 지혜와 지식과 명철의 길을 걷는 것을 발견하게 될 것입니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 하나님 아버지, 말씀의 중요성에 대해 이해하게 해주셔서 감사합니다. 말씀을 공부하는 데에 나 자신을 내어드릴 때, 나는 계시되고 정보를 얻고 강해집니다. 아버지께서 예정하신 길을 걸어갈 때 내 생각은 아버지의 교정과 지시와 인도에 열려 있습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

UNDERSTANDING THE WORD
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).
As a Christian, it’s so important that you have an understanding of the Word. That understanding will help you have a concept of the Scriptures in a way that’s far beyond the generic; your approach to the Word will be different. This is important, because except and unless you understand the Word, you won’t know how to apply it to your life and situations.
The Word is Himself, God. That’s what we read in our opening text. When He speaks to you, He becomes to you and in you what He says. Every time you study it, you feed your spirit and you’re able to live the life of the Word. Then you discover that your Christian life every day is full of joy and excitement.
As you prepare your goals for the coming year, make studying the Word, devoting quality time to search and meditate on the Scriptures a top priority. This will cause you to be enlightened, informed, refreshed, strengthened and graced for greater effectiveness in your work and ministry, and all that the Lord would have you do in the coming year and beyond. You’d find yourself walking in the path that He’s chosen for you before the foundation of the world.
Remember that your life has a purpose, and the purpose of God for you is revealed and becomes clearer as you fellowship with the Word and the Spirit. He’ll grant you insight through the Scriptures. He’ll bring your thoughts to something that He wants you to know now, that you can apply to your life. Then, His wisdom will leap out of the message and inundate your heart, and you find that you’re walking the path of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the understanding of your Word. As I give myself to the study of the Word, I’m enlightened, refreshed, informed and strengthened. My mind is receptive to the corrections, instructions and direction therein, as I walk in the paths you preordained for me, in Jesus’Name. Amen.
