당신은 죽음으로부터 자유합니다
You’re Death-free
“이는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 너를 해방하였음이라”(롬 8:2)
오늘의 본문 구절에서 우리는 생명의 성령의 법과 죄와 사망의 법이라는 두 가지 법이 있음을 발견합니다. 죄와 사망의 법은 아직 거듭나지 않은 모든 사람들에게 적용되는 법이며, 이는 죽음과 실패를 촉진시킵니다. 질병과 죽음은 한 세트입니다. 질병이 육체를 공격할 때, 그것이 얼마나 천천히 진행되든지 상관없이 실제로 죽음은 시작되고 육체를 파괴하기 시작하기 때문입니다.
그러나 생명의 법이 사망의 법보다 더 강력하며, 새로운 피조물에게 적용되는 법이 바로 이 생명의 법입니다. 이 법은 당신이 거듭났을 때부터 효력을 갖습니다. 그래서 죽음은 당신 안에서 역사할 수 없게 되었습니다. 이제 생명이 당신 안에서 일합니다. 당신은 죽음에서 해방되었습니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!
이런 식으로도 생각해 보십시오. 방수가 되는 손목시계가 있다고 가정해보겠습니다. 방수가 된다면, 시계에 물이 들어가도 고장이 나지 않는다는 것을 의미합니다. 또 어떤 물체가 밀폐되어 있다면, 그 물체는 공기가 들어오거나 나가는 것을 허용하지 않습니다. 만약 당신에게 빚이 없다면, 당신은 그 누구에게도 부채가 있지 않다는 뜻입니다. 그러므로 이제 당신이 사망에서 해방되었다는 것은 당신 안에 죽음이 없다는 뜻입니다.
오늘의 본문 구절을 다시 읽어봅시다. 정말 굉장합니다. 이 말씀은 당신이 죄와 사망의 법에서 해방되었다는 것을 보여줍니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다! 안타깝게도 일부 그리스도인들은 그들의 부정적인 고백을 통해 생각을 재프로그래밍함으로써 자신의 삶, 사업, 건강, 가족 등에 “죽음”을 가져옵니다. 그러나 당신이 지속적으로 “내 길에는 죽음이 없다!”고 선언하는 한 당신은 생명의 길을 걸을 것입니다.
이러한 의식을 가지고 그에 따라 행하십시오. 당신의 말로써 당신이 생명의 길에 지속적으로 머물게 하십시오. 기억하십시오. 죽고 사는 것은 혀의 힘에 달렸습니다(잠 18:21).
고백
그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 나를 해방했습니다! 생명의 법이 내 안에서 작동되고 있으므로 나는 완전히 죽음에서 자유로우며 죽음의 한계에서 벗어났습니다! 그러므로 나는 하나님의 자녀로서 이 영광스러운 자유 가운데 살고, 내가 살고 있는 세상에 생명을 나누어 줍니다.

You’re Death-free
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).
From the verse above, we see that there’re two laws: the law of the Spirit of life, and the law of sin and death. The latter is the law at work in everyone that’s not born again; it promotes death and failure. Sickness and death go together, because when sickness attacks the physical body, death actually sets in and starts destroying it, no matter how slowly.
However, the law of life is more powerful than the law of death, and that’s the law at work in the new creation. That law was activated when you were born again. So, death isn’t at work in you; life is at work in you now; therefore, you’re death-free. Blessed be God!
Look at it this way: When we say an object, maybe a wristwatch, is water-resistant, it means it’s able to resist the penetration of water such that water couldn’t cause it any damage. If something is airtight, it means it doesn’t allow the entrance or escape of air. When you’re debt-free, it means you’re not indebted to anyone – you owe nothing. Therefore being now death-free, you have no death in you.
Read our opening verse again; it’s so profound. It shows you’re free from death and the law of sin. Glory to God! Sadly, some Christians bring “death” into their lives, into their business, bodies, families etc., by reprogramming themselves through their negative confessions. But as long as you keep declaring, “In my path, there’s no death,” you’ll walk in the path of life.
Have this consciousness and function accordingly. Keep yourself in the path of life with your words. Remember, death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).
Confession
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death! I’m absolutely death-free, off death limits, because the law of life is operational in me! Therefore, I walk in this glorious liberty as a child of God, dispensing life in my world.
