We Must Preach The Gospel
“너희는 낫을 쓰라 곡식이 있었도다 와서 밟을지어다 포도주 틀이 가득히 차고 포도주 독이 넘치니 그들의 악이 큼이로다”(욜 3:13)
우리가 살고 있는 세상에서 목격하는 부정과 악은 오히려 복음의 빛을 비출 수 있는 기회입니다. 세상이 어두워질수록 우리의 빛은 더 밝게 빛나야 합니다. 우리가 이 어두운 세상의 빛이기 때문입니다(빌 2:15).
죄 많고 손상된 세상은 우리에게 그리스도의 의를 세울 강력한 기회를 제공합니다. 그러한 세상에 그리스도의 의를 세우는 것이 우리의 부르심이며, 우리는 이를 반드시 행해야 합니다! 복음의 빛으로 우리는 사람들을 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 이겨와야 합니다.
잠시 가난한 자들과 괄시 받는 자들을 위한 복음의 축복들을 생각해 보십시오. 고통 받는 자들과 억압 받는 자들에게 주어진 약속들을 생각해 보십시오! 아무것도 아닌 자가 오직 그리스도를 영접할 때 어떻게 하나님의 권세를 갖게 되는지를 보십시오(삼상 2:8)!
이것이 우리 하나님께서 하시는 일입니다. 복음이 하는 일입니다. 하나님께서 감당할 수 없을 정도로 깊은 골짜기나 악한 죄는 없습니다. 그분께서는 이사야 1장 18절에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “너희의 죄가 주홍 같을지라도 눈과 같이 희어질 것이요 진홍 같이 붉을지라도 양털 같이 희게 되리라.” 할렐루야!
그러므로 당신 주변 세상을 바라보며 새로운 사고방식을 가지십시오. 예수님은 의인들을 위해서 오신 것이 아니라 죄인들을 위해 오셨기 때문입니다. 그분은 죄인들을 구원하시고 그들을 하나님의 자녀들로 만들기 위해 오셨습니다. 그리고 우리는 이 복음을 전하는 사람들입니다.
오늘날의 세계는 너무나도 절망적입니다. 사람들은 미래에 대한 소망을 잃었습니다. 그들은 사실 모든 것에 대한 소망을 잃어 버렸습니다. 그러나 그리스도 안에 소망이 있습니다. 우리가 소망을 전할 때 우리는 사람들에게 헛된 희망을 주는 것이 아닙니다. 하나님께서는 우리가 전하는 메시지에 있는 실재를 증거하십니다.
우리는 결코 혼자 사역하지 않습니다. 우리가 말씀을 전할 때 주님께서 말씀을 확증해 주십니다. 성경은 말합니다. “제자들이 나가 두루 전파할새 주께서 함께 역사하사 그 따르는 표적으로 말씀을 확실히 증언하시니라”(막 16:20) 복음을 전할 수 있는 모든 기회를 활용하십시오.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 나를 합당하고 신실한 자로 여겨 주시고, 화해의 사역으로 불러 주시고, 평강의 복음에 헌신하게 해주시니 감사드립니다. 나의 세상에 복음의 빛을 비출 때, 구원을 위한 당신의 은혜가 풀어지고 많은 사람들이 영생을 얻게 됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

We Must Preach The Gospel
Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great (Joel 3:13).
The wickedness and evil we see in our world is our opportunity to shine the light of the Gospel. The darker the world, the brighter our lights must shine, for we’re the light in a dark world (Philippians 2:15).
A sinful and hurting world presents us with compelling opportunities to establish the righteousness of Christ. It’s our calling; we’ve got to do it! Bearing the light of the Gospel, we’re to turn men from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God.
Consider for a moment, the blessings of the Gospel for the poor and the despised; the afflicted and the downtrodden, and what promise it holds for them! How that a man who is as nothing, if only he’d receive Christ, would become a prince of power with God (1 Samuel 2:8)!
That’s what our God does; that’s what the Gospel does. No one’s valley is too deep; no one’s sin is too dark. He said in Isaiah 1:8, “…though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Hallelujah!
So, in looking at the world around you, have a new mindset, because Jesus came not for the righteous, but for sinners. He came to save sinners and make them sons of God. And we’re the bearers of the good news.
The world today has become so hopeless. Men have lost hope in the future; they’ve lost hope in just about everything. But there’s hope in Christ. And when we minister that hope, we’re not giving people some false hope, no; He proves His reality in the message that we preach.
We never minister alone; when we preach, the Lord confirms the Word. The Bible says, “And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen” (Mark 16:20). Take every opportunity to preach the Gospel.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for counting me worthy and faithful, putting me in the ministry of reconciliation and committing to my trust the Gospel of peace. As I shine the light of the Gospel in my world, your grace is released for salvation and many are imparted with eternal life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
