He Loves “All Men”

“하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라”(요 3:16)

성경은 “우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로 하나님께서 우리에 대한 자기의 사랑을 확증하셨느니라”(롬 5:8)고 말합니다. 이것은 논쟁의 여지없이 가장 위대한 소식입니다. 그분은 우리가 아직 죄인이었을 때 우리를 사랑하셨고, 그 사랑으로 인해 우리를 멸망과 죄와 심판에서 구원하시기 위해 예수님을 보내셨습니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

로마서 5:6은 말합니다. “우리가 아직 연약할 때에 기약대로 그리스도께서 경건하지 않은 자를 위하여 죽으셨도다.” 이 하나님의 말씀이 얼마나 대단한지요! 그분이 그때에도 죄인들을 사랑하셨다면, 오늘날에도 여전히 그들을 사랑하십니다. 예수님은 그리스도인들을 위해 죽으신 것이 아닙니다. 그분은 경건하지 않은 자들, 즉 끔찍하고 사악한 죄인들, 하나님을 미워했던 사람들을 위해 죽으셨습니다. 그분의 구원 사역이 완전하지 않았거나 충분하지 않아 다시 하셨어야 했더라도 그분은 그렇게 하셨을 것입니다. 그분의 사랑은 정말 강력합니다.

지금 이 시간에 하나님의 마음을 이해하시기 바랍니다. 그분은 사탄이 사람들을 이용하여 다른 사람들을 멸망시키는 것을 보실 때 슬퍼하십니다. 하나님은 다른 사람들을 멸망시키기 위해 사탄이 사용하는 도구가 된 사람들까지도 사랑하십니다! 그리고 하나님은 그들이 자신의 무지에서 벗어나 그분의 사랑을 알기 원하십니다.

하나님은 사람들을 너무나 사랑하셔서 우리로 하여금 사악함, 경건치 않음, 무지함, 죄 가운데 있는 사람들을 위해 기도하도록 감동을 주십니다. 그분은 디모데전서 2:1을 통해 무엇보다도 먼저 모든 사람을 위해 기도하라고 권면하셨습니다. “그러므로 내가 첫째로 권하노니 모든 사람을 위하여 간구와 기도와 도고와 감사를 하되.” 이는 하나님의 사랑에 합당한 일입니다.

하나님이 이 땅에서 가장 우선시하는 것은 각 사람의 가치입니다. 자신의 필요를 위해 기도하기 전에 먼저 모든 사람을 위해 기도하십시오. 하나님은 모든 사람이 그분의 사랑과 진리를 알게 되기 원하십니다. 베드로후서 3:9은 하나님이 아무도 멸망하지 않고 모두 회개하기에 이르기를 원하신다고 말합니다. 그분의 사랑은 놀랍습니다!

기도

의로우신 아버지, 그리스도의 대속적인 죽음을 통해 보여주신 모든 사람을 향한 당신의 사랑은 너무나 강력합니다. 나는 당신의 사랑으로 강권되어 복음을 전하고 죄인들을 죄로부터 의와 하나님의 아들의 영광스러운 자유로 인도합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE LOVES “ALL MEN”

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

The Bible says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). This is inarguably the best and greatest news on earth; that He loved us while we were yet sinners. And because of His love, He sent Jesus to save us from destruction, sin and judgement. Blessed be God!

Romans 5:6 says, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” Oh, the strength of this communication from God! If He loved sinners then, He still loves them today. He didn’t die for Christians; He died for the ungodly?the hopeless, wicked sinners; people who hated God. If His work of salvation hadn’t been perfect or sufficient and He had to do it again, He’d have done it! That’s how strong His love is.

This is to let you understand the heart of God in this hour. When He sees Satan using men to destroy other men, He’s grieved. Even the very human instruments of Satan, the very people that Satan uses to destroy other men, God loves them! And He’d want them to turn away from their ignorance and recognize His love.

God loves men so much that He impresses upon us to intercede for them in their wickedness, ungodliness, ignorance, and in their sinfulness. In 1 Timothy 2:1, He makes praying for all men a priority: “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.” This is so consistent with God’s love.

The first thing He thinks about in the earth is the value of every man. Before you pray for your needs, your work, etc., pray first for all men. He wants them to come to the knowledge of His love and His truth. 2 Peter 3:9 says He is unwilling that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Such amazing love!

PRAYER

Righteous Father, your love for all men is overwhelming, having demonstrated it through Christ’s vicarious death. I’m compelled by your love to preach the Gospel, and turn sinners from sin into righteousness and the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
