“Rightwiseness” And The Judgments Of God
“너희는 하나님으로부터 나서 그리스도 예수 안에 있고 예수는 하나님으로부터 나와서 우리에게 지혜와 의로움과 거룩함과 구원함이 되셨으니”(고전 1:30)
어제 말씀의 실재에서 우리는 의의 속성 중 하나로 “올바른 위치”에 대해 나눴습니다. 오늘은 의의 또 다른 속성인 “올바름(rightwiseness)”에 대해 알아보겠습니다. “올바름”은 일상에서 자주 쓰이는 단어는 아니지만, 중요한 의의 요소입니다.
“올바른”은 옳은 것 또는 옳음을 향해 나아간다는 뜻입니다. 이는 거룩한 하나님의 임재 안에서 옳은 일을 행할 수 있는 능력인 올바름으로 나아간다는 뜻입니다.
의는 하나님의 본성임을 기억하십시오. 의는 그분을 옳고 온전한 존재로 만드는 성품, 능력, 속성입니다. 하나님의 생각, 말씀, 행동은 언제나 옳습니다. 그분은 하나님이시며 결코 틀리시지 않기 때문입니다! 하나님의 올바름의 특성은 옛 단어인 “올바름(rightwiseness)”에 잘 담겨 있습니다. 이 단어는 하나님의 올바름, 곧 항상 바르게 존재하고 행하는 하나님의 성품과 능력을 의미합니다.
무엇이 옳은지는 오직 하나님만이 아십니다. 하나님이 당신의 영에 그분의 의를 나누어 주실 때, 당신 또한 하나님처럼 무엇이 옳은 지 알기 시작하고, 옳은 일을 할 수 있는 능력을 받습니다. 그때부터 하나님의 판단력이 당신의 영 안에서 역사합니다. “하나님의 판단력”이란 무엇입니까?
바로 하나님이 무언가를 인식하고 판단하는 방법입니다. 그분이 어떤 대상을 어떻게 바라보고 생각하는 지에 대한 것입니다. 이제 당신 안에 있는 하나님의 본성으로 인해 당신은 영 안에 하나님의 판단력을 가지고 있습니다. 당신은 그분의 의견을 가지고 있고, 그분의 뜻을 압니다.
예언자 이사야는 그리스도에 대해 이렇게 말했습니다. “…그의 눈에 보이는 대로 심판하지 아니하며 그의 귀에 들리는 대로 판단하지 아니하며 공의로 가난한 자를 심판하며 정직으로 세상의 겸손한 자를 판단할 것이며 그의 입의 막대기로 세상을 치며 그의 입술의 기운으로 악인을 죽일 것이며.”(사 11:3-4)
이는 그리스도는 그분의 감각에 따라 판단하지 않고 오직 성령으로 판단하신다는 뜻입니다. 그리스도가 당신의 의가 되셨으니 당신도 마찬가지입니다! 그분의 “올바름”과 판단력이 당신의 영 안에 있습니다. 당신은 성령으로 말미암아 판단합니다. 할렐루야!
고백
나는 아버지의 의를 드러내는 자입니다. 그분의 의와 온전한 판단이 나에게 들리고, 보이고, 나를 통해 나타납니다. 나는 성령으로 말미암아 의 안에서 판단하고, 공의로 책망합니다. 내가 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 의이기 때문입니다. 아멘.

“RIGHTWISENESS” AND THE JUDGMENTS OF GOD
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption”(1 Corinthians 1:30).
In our previous study we referenced “Right Standing” as one of the attributes of righteousness. Today, we’ll be considering another attribute of righteousness called “Rightwiseness.” Rightwiseness is not a term that’s often used in everyday communication, but it’s an important element of righteousness.
“Rightwise” means to be rightward; or towards the right. This, however, is not talking about the physical position of being towards the “right-hand side.” It refers, instead, to rightness—the ability to always be and do right in the presence of a holy God.
Remember, righteousness is God’s nature; His character, ability and attribute of being right and perfect. How He thinks, what He says, and what He does is always right, because He’s God, and He could never be wrong! This quality of the rightness of God is captured in the old English term, “rightwiseness.” It means the rightness of God, the character and ability of God to always be and do right.
God alone knows what’s right; when He imparts His righteousness to your spirit, you also begin to know what’s right just like Him, and you’re given the ability to do it. The judgments of God, from thence, are wrought in your spirit. What do I mean by “the judgments of God?”
This has to do with how God perceives and judges things; how He sees things and what He thinks about them. Now, because of His nature in you, you now carry the judgments of God in your spirit. You have His opinions and know His will.
The prophet Isaiah, speaking about the Christ, said, “…he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth:” (Isaiah 11:3-4).
This means He would not judge according to His senses but by the Spirit. It’s the same with you now that Christ has been made unto you righteousness! His “rightwiseness” and His judgments are in your spirit. You judge by the Spirit. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I’m the unveiling of the Father’s righteousness; His “rightwiseness” and sound judgments are heard in me, seen in me, and dispensed through me. I judge by the Spirit in righteousness, and reprove with equity, because I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Amen.
