의는 은혜의 선물입니다
RIGHTEOUSNESS – A GIFT OF GRACE
“이는 죄가 사망 안에서 왕 노릇 한 것 같이 은혜도 또한 의로 말미암아 왕 노릇 하여 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 영생에 이르게 하려 함이라”(롬 5:21)
의는 당신 안에서 아무런 정죄감이나 열등감이나 죄책감 없이 하나님 앞에 설 수 있는 능력을 낳는 하나님의 본성입니다. 의는 하나님의 임재 안에서 인간의 영에 용납과 자유와 권리를 부여하는 신성한 은혜가 나타나는 것입니다. 하나님의 은혜는 우리에게 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용인 이 의를 줍니다.
우리의 의는 그리스도 예수 안에서 그분의 은혜로 인해 우리에게 주신 하나님의 선물입니다. 은혜로 말미암아 우리는 하나님의 본성인 의를 받았고, 그분의 사랑의 아들의 왕국으로 옮겨져 그분과 함께 다스리며 통치합니다. 요한복음 1:17은 “율법은 모세로 말미암아 주어진 것이요 은혜와 진리는 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 온 것이라”고 말씀합니다. 또한 로마서 5:17은 “…은혜와 의의 선물을 넘치게 받는 자들은 한 분 예수 그리스도를 통하여 생명 안에서 왕 노릇 하리로다”라고 말씀합니다.
우리는 마귀와 환경을 통치하는 것뿐만 아니라 하나님의 의 안에서 살며, 하나님의 의로 살아갑니다. 하나님이 우리를 의롭게 하셨기 때문에 어떤 것이나 누구도 더 이상 우리를 정죄할 수 없습니다. 그분은 우리가 무죄 결백하다고 선언하셨는데, 그렇게 하신 것은 정당한 일이었습니다. “곧 이 때에 자기의 의로우심을 나타내사 자기도 의로우시며 또한 예수를 믿는 자를 의롭다 하려 하심이라”(롬 3:26)
당신의 의를 붙잡는 것 곧 의 의식을 갖고 왕으로 삶을 다스리는 것은 당신의 책임입니다. 사탄과 세상과 환경에 대한 통치권을 행사하십시오. 의 의식은 당신에게 기도하고 응답을 기대할 수 있는 담대함과 확신을 줍니다. 의 의식은 당신이 사탄과 그의 고소들을 다스리게 하며, 당신을 인생의 승리자가 되게 합니다!
당신이 어디에 있었고, 무엇을 해왔으며, 어떤 존재였고, 얼마나 참혹한 상태로 살아왔는지는 중요하지 않습니다. 당신은 이제 그리스도 예수 안에서 받아들여졌기 때문입니다(엡 1:6). 이제 그분의 임재 안에서 자유롭습니다. 당신은 더 이상 두려워할 필요가 없습니다. 그분 앞에서 부끄러움 없이 당신의 모습 그대로 자유롭게 자신을 표현할 수 있습니다. 당신은 자유로이 기쁘게 살며, 그분께 경배드립니다. 왜냐하면 당신이 그분과 바른 관계를 맺고 있기 때문입니다. 당신은 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 의입니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 의의 선물을 주셔서 감사합니다. 이제 저는 사랑 안에서 아버지 앞에 의롭고 영광되게 서서 아버지를 경배하고 아버지의 임재 안에서 기쁘게 살아갑니다. 저는 생명 안에서 왕으로 다스리고 통치하도록 아버지와 바른 관계를 활용합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

RIGHTEOUSNESS—A GIFT OF GRACE
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 5:21).
Righteousness is the nature of God in you that produces the ability to stand before God without guilt, inferiority, or condemnation. Righteousness is the outworking of divine grace, granting acceptance, liberty, and rights to the human spirit in the presence of God. So, the grace of God has given us this righteousness; that’s what we read in our opening verse.
Our righteousness is God’s gift to us in Christ Jesus, because of His grace. By grace, we received God’s nature of righteousness and were translated into the Kingdom of His Love-Son, where we reign and rule with Him. John 1:17 says, “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”
Romans 5:17 says, “…they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”
Not only do we have dominion over the devil and circumstances, we live in the righteousness of God, and live as the righteousness of God. Nothing, and no one, can condemn us anymore, because God has justified us; He’s acquitted us, and it was righteous for Him to do this for us: “To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus” (Romans 3:26).
It’s your responsibility to take a hold of your righteousness; that is, to become righteousnessꠓconscious and exercise dominion over Satan, the world, and all circumstances. Righteousness-consciousness gives you that boldness and confidence to pray and expect answers. It gives you mastery over demons and their manipulations. It makes you a champion in life! It really doesn’t matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, or who you’ve been; you’re now accepted in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:6). Now, in His presence, you’re at liberty; you don’t have to be afraid anymore; you’re free to express yourself and to be yourself, unashamed before Him. You’re free to live joyfully, and to worship Him, because you have right-standing with Him; you’re His righteousness. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of righteousness; now I stand justified and glorified before you in love, free to worship you and live joyfully in your presence. I take advantage of my right-standing with you to rule and reign as a king in life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
