신성한 길
The Divine Path
“우리는 하나님께서 [직접] 손수 만드신 작품(그분의 솜씨)이며, [하나님께서 미리 준비해 놓으신 길을 따라] 그분께서 우리를 위해 예정하신 (사전에 계획하신) 선한 일을 하고, 그 안에서 [그분께서 우리가 미리 계획하시고 준비하신 좋은 삶을 살며] 행하도록 그리스도 예수 안에서 재창조된 [거듭 난] 자입니다.”(엡 2:10, 확대번역본)
성경은 모든 사람에게 두 가지 길이 있다고 알려줍니다. 하나는 자연적인 길이며, 또 다른 하나는 신성한 길입니다. 자연적인 길은 원인과 결과의 영향을 받습니다. 예를 들어, 당신이 어떤 특정한 동네에서 태어났거나 특정한 학교에 다녔다면, 나중에 어떤 사람이 될 지 가늠하기 쉽습니다. 바로 이것이 사탄이 사람들의 자연적인 운명을 가지고 놀기 쉬운 이유입니다.
그러나 신성한 길은 다릅니다. 이 길은 당신이 거듭날 때 시작되며, 마치 신비와 같습니다. 세상은 당신의 삶을 이해하거나 예측할 수 없습니다. 하나님께서 거듭난 당신을 한계가 없는 놀라움으로 만들었기 때문입니다. 당신의 인생은 무한한 가능성을 가진 인생이 되었습니다. 하나님의 신성한 능력이 당신 안에서 역사하고 있기 때문입니다.
신성한 길을 선택하십시오. 신성한 길은 당신의 삶을 가치 있게 만듭니다. 당신은 성령의 인도를 받으며 모든 면에서 놀라운 발전을 이뤄낼 것입니다. 사람들이 당신의 승진을 놀라워할 때, 당신은 다음과 같은 성령의 음성을 들을 것입니다. “위를 보아라, 아들아. 내가 너를 더 높은 곳으로 데려갈 것이다.” 당신은 그저 계속 앞으로 가며 발전할 것입니다.
오늘 이 글을 읽고 있는 당신은 거듭난 적이 없을 수도 있습니다. 그렇다면 저는 지금이라도 당신이 신성한 길에서 자신의 여정을 시작할 수 있도록 주님께 마음을 드리기를 간구합니다. 이 책의 가장 뒷면에 적힌 “구원을 위한 영접기도” 페이지를 펴서 기도하십시오. 당신의 모든 심령을 다해 그 고백을 따라 읽으십시오. 그러면 당신은 하나님의 아버지 되심을 깨달을 것이고, 그분의 빛이 당신의 영에서 빛나며, 당신을 성공과 번영과 승리의 길로 인도할 것입니다.
기도
아버지, 성령님을 통해 미리 마련하신 신성한 길로 나를 인도하심에 감사합니다. 당신이 부르신 그 일을 하기에 필요한 모든 것을 이미 나에게 주셨습니다. 나를 영광과 위대함의 길로 인도하심에 감사드립니다. 나는 당신의 온전한 뜻 안에 살며, 모든 일에서 당신을 기쁘게 합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!

THE DIVINE PATH
“For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]”(Ephesians 2:10 AMPC).
The Bible teaches that there are two paths for every man. There’s a natural path, and then there’s a divine path. The natural path is subject to causes and effects. For example, if you were born in a certain neighbourhood or attended a certain school, it would be easy to predict how you’d turn out. This is why it’s easy for Satan to toy with the natural paths or natural destinies of people.
The divine path, however, is different. It begins when you’re born again, and this path is like a mystery. The world can’t figure you out or predict your life, because being born again, God has made you a limitless wonder. Your life is one of infinite possibilities because of His divine ability at work in you.
Choose the divine path. The divine path makes your life worth living. You’ll keep making remarkable progress on every side, because you’re piloted by the Holy Spirit. While people are still wondering at your advancement, you’ll hear the Spirit’s voice saying, “Look up son, I’m taking you higher.” You’ll just keep pushing forward and making progress.
Perhaps you’re reading this today, and you’ve never been born again, I urge you to give your heart to the Lord even now, so that you can begin your journey on the divine path. Turn to the Prayer of Salvation page at the back of this devotional; pray that prayer, and mean the words with all your heart. You’ll be awakened to the fatherhood of God and His light will shine in your spirit, guiding you in the way of success, prosperity and victory evermore.
PRAYER
Thank you, Father, for leading me by your Spirit in the divine paths that you’ve prearranged for me. You’ve granted me everything I’ll ever require to fulfil all you’ve called me to do. Thank you for leading me in the paths of glory and greatness, as I live in your perfect will, pleasing you in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
