하나님의 말씀 안에서 확신을 가지십시오
Be Confident In His Word
“그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 이를 앎으로 말미암음이라”(벧후 1:3)
사도 바울은 성령을 통해 고린도전서 3:21에서 오늘의 본문 구절 후반부에서 베드로가 우리를 위해 쓴 내용을 다시 한번 확증합니다. “…만물이 다 너희 것임이라.” 이는 만물이 그리스도 안에 있고, 그리스도께서 당신 안에 계시기 때문입니다. 따라서 현재 것이나 장래 것이 모두 다 당신의 것입니다!
당신의 능력이나 인간의 지혜가 아닌, 하나님의 신성한 능력이 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 당신에게 주셨습니다. 당신이 부족하기로 스스로 선택하지 않는 이상, 부족함이나 필요를 느끼지 말아야 한다는 뜻입니다. 이 사실을 믿어야 합니다. 이것이 당신을 향한 하나님의 말씀이기 때문입니다.
하나님께서 무언가를 하셨다고 말씀하실 때, 당신은 그것을 갖기 위해 주장할 필요가 없습니다. 그저 그 사실을 받아들이고 그에 따라 행동하면 됩니다. 하나님의 말씀이 당신에게 필요한 모든 증거입니다. 예를 들어, 만약 당신의 은행 계좌로 돈이 입금되었다면, 은행은 아마 당신에게 연락을 하거나 당신 계좌로 돈이 입금되었음을 확인해주는 문서를 줄 것이고, 당신은 이 사실을 믿을 것입니다. 당신은 그 돈을 가지고 있는 사람처럼 생활하고 행동할 것입니다. 심지어 은행 계좌에 돈을 가지고 있다는 사실을 근거로 거래하고 계약할 것입니다.
하지만 당신이 가진 것은 은행이 당신의 돈을 가지고 있다는 문자나 입금문서 뿐입니다. 바로 이것이 하나님께서 당신이 행동하기 원하시는 방식입니다. 하나님께서 당신을 위해 쓰신 그분의 말씀을 은행의 문서보다 더 신뢰하십시오. 그분의 말씀이 더 신뢰할 만합니다. 당신의 확신이 하나님의 말씀을 근거로 자라나게 하십시오.
당신의 삶에 제한을 두지 마십시오. 당신은 하나님의 자녀이며, 그분은 당신에게 무한한 자원, 곧 무한한 축복과 기회를 가진 삶을 주셨습니다. 하나님의 말씀의 빛 가운데서 의식적이고 지속적으로 걸으십시오. 당신의 경건한 삶을 위해 필요하거나 바라는 것들 중 그리스도 안에서 이미 당신의 소유가 아닌 것이 단 하나도 없습니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내가 승리하고 인생에서 성공하는 데 필요한 모든 것을 주심에 감사드립니다. 당신은 나를 가난, 아픔, 질병, 연약함으로 부르지 않으셨고, 영광과 덕으로 부르셨습니다. 하나님께서는 나에게 경배와 영광과 매일 언제나 어디서나 감사하는 삶을 주셨습니다. 하나님을 경배합니다!

BE CONFIDENT IN HIS WORD
“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue”(2 Peter 1:3).
In 1 Corinthians 3:21, the Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, corroborates what Peter pens for us in the latter part of the verse above. It says, “…all things are yours.” That’s because all things are in Christ, and Christ is in you. Therefore, both things present and things to come, are all yours!
God’s divine power, not your own ability or human wisdom, has given unto you ALL things that pertain to life and godliness. This means you’re not supposed to ever be in lack or want except you choose to. You’ve got to believe this because it’s God’s Word about you.
When God says He’s done something, you don’t have to try to claim it; you simply accept it and act accordingly. His Word is all the proof you need. For example, when money is paid to your account in the bank, they probably send you a message or give you a document that confirms that the money has been paid into your account, and you believe it. You go about living and acting as one who has that amount of deposit in the bank. You even make deals and transactions on the basis that you have that money in the bank.
Meanwhile, all you have is the text message or deposit slip from the bank that they have your money. Now, that’s the way God wants you to act. Trust what God has written to you—His Word—more than the writings from the bank. His Word is more dependable. Let your confidence be on the basis of His Word.
Don’t place a limit on your life. You’re a child of God, and He’s brought you a life of endless resources; limitless blessings and opportunities. Consciously and consistently walk in the light of God’s Word. There’s nothing you could ever need or desire for a godly life that’s not already yours in Christ. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for giving me everything I require to live victoriously and be a success in life. you’ve not called me to poverty, sickness, disease or infirmity; but glory and virtue. You’ve given me a life of praise, glory, and thanksgiving every day, everywhere, and at all times. Praise God!
