Spiritual Insight
“(내가 늘 기도하기를) 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님, 영광의 아버지께서 그분을 아는 깊고 친밀한 지식 안에서 지혜와 계시의 (신비와 비밀에 대한 통찰력의) 영을 너희에게 주사…”(엡 1:17, AMP)
예수님께서 부활하신 후, 요한복음 20:21-22에서는 아름다운 일이 일어났습니다. 제자들이 방에 있을 때, 예수님이 그들 가운데로 오셔서 “숨을 내쉬며 이르시되 성령을 받으라”라고 말씀하신 것입니다. 누가복음 24:45은 예수님이 제자들에게 실제로 어떤 일을 하셨는지 더 분명한 통찰력을 줍니다. “이에 그들의 마음을 열어 성경을 깨닫게 하시고”
예수님은 제자들에게 영적 통찰력을 주셨습니다. 갑자기 그들은 예수님이 고난을 겪으신 이유와 밝혀져야 할 영광을 깨닫게 되었습니다. 그 전에도 예수님은 같은 내용을 그들과 나누었지만, 그들은 그것을 이해하지 못했습니다. 예수님이 십자가에 달려야 한다고 말씀하셨을 때, 베드로는 예수님을 책망했습니다. 그러나 예수님이 그들의 지각을 열어주자, 그들은 영적으로 밝아졌습니다! 통찰력을 갖게 되었습니다.
통찰력이란 어떤 상황이나 주제 또는 신비에 대해 분명하고 깊은 깨달음과 인식을 의미하는데, 이것은 보통 불현듯 갖게 됩니다. 그것은 당신 안에 성령님이 계심으로써 갖게 되는 많은 축복 중 하나입니다. 성령님은 당신에게 신비와 비밀들에 대한 통찰력을 주십니다. 그분은 당신에게 사물의 내부 작용과 구성과 기능 등에 대한 특별한 인식과 이해를 주십니다.
당신이 이해하기 어려운 일들이 있을 수 있지만, 당신의 삶에서 일하시는 성령님의 사역으로 인해 그런 복잡한 일들이 당신에게는 밝히 드러납니다. 당신은 항상 그분을 신뢰할 수 있습니다. 기술과 깨달음과 폭넓은 이해를 지닌 통찰력 있는 그분의 지식을 당신은 항상 신뢰할 수 있습니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 아버지를 아는 지식 안에서 지혜와 계시의 영을 제게 주셨습니다. 제 지각의 눈은 빛으로 가득 차서 아버지의 온전한 뜻을 알고 그 안에서 걸을 수 있습니다. 제게는 기술과 분별력과 대단한 이해력이 있으며 저는 탁월한 영으로 기능합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

SPIRITUAL INSIGHT
[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him (Ephesians 1:17 AMPC).
Something beautiful transpired in John 20:2122, after the resurrection of Jesus. While His disciples were in a room, He came in among them and the Bible says He “…breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.” Luke 24:45 gave us a clearer insight into what Jesus actually did to the disciples; it says, “Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.”
He granted them spiritual insight. Suddenly, they understood why Christ had to suffer, and the glory that was to be revealed. Prior to that time, He had shared the same thoughts with them, but they didn’t quite get it. Peter, for one, rebuked Him when He said He would have to be crucified on the Cross. But after He opened their understanding, they became spiritually enlightened! They had insight.
Insight means clear, deep, and usually sudden understanding and perception of a situation, subject, or mystery. It’s one of the many blessings of having the Holy Spirit in you: He gives you insight into mysteries and secrets. He grants you unusual perception and understanding of the inner workings of things, their compositions, functionalities, etc.
There’re certain things that would have been difficult for you to understand, but because of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life, the intricacies of those things are unveiled to you. You can always trust Him for insightful knowledge that gives skill, understanding, and great amplitude of comprehension.
PRAYER
Dear Father, you’ve granted me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you; the eyes of my understanding are flooded with light to know and walk in your perfect will. I have skill, discernment, rare understanding, and function with the spirit of excellence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
