He Opens Your Understanding
“이에 그들의 마음을 열어 성경을 깨닫게 하시고”(눅 24:45)
요한복음 20:21-22은 말씀합니다. “예수께서 또 이르시되 너희에게 평강이 있을지어다 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것 같이 나도 너희를 보내노라 이 말씀을 하시고 그들을 향하사 숨을 내쉬며 이르시되 성령을 받으라” 이 구절은 오늘의 본문구절에서 누가가 전하는 것과 동일한 기사이지만, 예수님이 제자들에게 나타나셨을 때 누가는 목격자가 아니었습니다. 요한이 목격자로서 실제 일어난 일을 우리에게 알려줍니다.
그렇다면 예수님은 정확히 어떻게 제자들의 이해를 열어주셨을까요? 예수님이 “그들을 향하사 숨을 내쉬며 이르시되 성령을 받으라”고 하셨을 때 제자들에게 외적으로 무슨 일이 일어났는지 우리는 어떤 것도 듣지 못합니다. 그렇다면 누가는 어떻게 해서 예수님이 제자들을 향해 숨을 내쉼으로 인해 그들의 이해가 열려졌다는 것을 알았을까요?
욥기 32:8(미국 표준역)은 말씀합니다. “그러나 인간 안에는 영이 있는데, 전능하신 분의 숨이 인간에게 이해를 준다.” 같은 구절에 대해 킹제임스 성경은 이렇게 표현합니다. “그러나 사람 안에는 영이 있고, 전능하신 분의 영감이 사람들에게 깨달음을 주시는도다.” 여기에서 “영감”으로 번역된 단어는 “숨(영어 스크립트에는 breadth라고 적혀있지만, 이는 필시 breath를 오기한 것으로 보임)”을 의미합니다. 전능하신 분의 숨은 이해를 줍니다.
누가는 예수님이 제자들에게 숨을 내쉰 다음 제자들이 성경을 이해했다는 소식을 듣자 그 이해가 어디에서 왔는지 정확히 알았습니다. 그때 예수 그리스도는 지식을 전달할 수 있듯이 이해도 전이할 수 있는 그분의 신성한 능력을 입증하셨습니다. 기억하십시오. 그분은 모든 지혜와 지식의 화신이십니다. “그 안에는 지혜와 지식의 모든 보화가 감추어져 있느니라”(골 2:3)
아마 당신은 일이나 학업이나 특정한 것에 대한 어떤 신비와 비밀을 꿰뚫는 통찰력이 필요할 것입니다. 이때 당신은 그분을 신뢰할 수 있습니다.

나는 무엇을 할지 항상 압니다. 내가 성령님과 하나님의 말씀의 영향과 통제를 받고 있기 때문입니다. 나는 성령의 인도하심에 민감하여 말씀이 역사하게 만듭니다. 그리하여 나에게는 신비와 비밀을 꿰뚫는 통찰력이 있습니다. 나는 모든 지혜와 영적인 이해로 하나님의 뜻을 아는 지식으로 충만합니다. 하나님께 영광을 돌립니다!

HE OPENS YOUR UNDERSTANDING
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures (Luke 24:45).
The Bible says in John 20:21-22, “Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.” This was the same account that Luke reported in our opening verse, but he wasn’t an eyewitness when Jesus ministered to the disciples. John was an eyewitness and he tells us in actuality what happened. So, how exactly did Jesus open the understanding of His disciples? We’re not told anything happened to them outwardly when “…he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost” (John 20:22). So, how did Luke know that the breathing on them by Jesus was what opened their understanding? Job 32:8 (ASV) says, “But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” The King James translation of the same verse says, “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” The word translated, “inspiration” means “breath”; the breath of the Almighty gives understanding. When Luke was told that Jesus breathed on the disciples and they understood the Scriptures, he knew exactly where the understanding came from. Jesus Christ, on that occasion, demonstrated His divine ability to impart understanding, just as He’s able to impart knowledge. Remember, He’s the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge: “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). CONFESSION
I know what to do at all times, because I’m influenced and controlled by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. I’m sensitive to the leading of the Spirit and apt to put the Word to work.
